This Fairfield by Marriot charged the parking for $7.5 per day. It is totally out of boundary because this at a 4th tier city: Flagstaff, totally unreasonable!!!

Location was great. What could have. Been better was, I am disabled and I could get a handicap shower. I had a hard time bathing, I was scared, I slipped and hurt myself, I had to go without cleaning myself because of inadequate facilities. AND I REQUESTED HANDICAP SHOWER. I requested a room close to an exit, which also was NOT honored.

The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Flagstaff, Arizona, USA was fantastic! Check-in was easy, the staff was kind and knowledgeable, and the room was clean and comfortable. I wish the hotel had a hot tub, but besides that the hotel is flawless.

The breakfast was excellent. Had a lot of good choices, not your typical hotel breakfast. Would have liked a hot tub or the water in the pool a little warmer. We were all so cold after swimming.

We drove for about 10 hours to arrive at the hotel and celebrate New Year’s Eve there, so we were very tired and looking forward to resting. Upon arrival, the receptionist was quite unfriendly, but we tried not to focus on that. However, when we entered the room, we discovered that instead of the two queen beds we had booked, there was only one bed. It appeared to be a queen or slightly larger, but still just one bed. Since we specifically booked a room with two beds, we went back to the reception to clarify the issue. The receptionist insisted, twice, that this was exactly what we had booked. I then returned to the room, found our Booking.com confirmation, and my friend showed it to her. Despite this, she told us that we could complain to Booking, but that the hotel does not guarantee that the room provided matches what was booked, and that all claims should be addressed to Booking.com. This was communicated in a very unfriendly and dismissive manner. This situation really spoiled our mood, especially considering how long our journey was. Additionally, my friend is a big guy, so sharing one bed was uncomfortable for us. Aside from this issue, the hotel itself is nice and has a great location. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled left a very negative impression.

The stay was one very relaxing evening. The only thing that could improve the night was a better mattress. They we a little on the lumpy side. The stag was especially friendly. We were leaving early in the morning to go to the Grand Canyon before heading south to Tucson, the staff made sure we had a few things to take with us for breakfast. They couldn’t have been nicer

I did not have a good experience at this Marriott hotel. I travel a lot and have stayed in many places and this by far was the worst hotel I have stayed at. The reason I am rating this hotel as the worst was due to the beds, the pillows, and the towels were absolutely horrible. The towels will seriously rip your skin off they are sooo rough and they need to replace the towels! The pillows have absolutely zero cushion, and a napkin would’ve been better than what I was offered as what they would call a pillow. And last but certainly not least, the spring bed was so hard that I can’t even move my neck and back without extreme pain, and I think I 100% need to see a chiropractor. A rock or a wood board would’ve been more comfortable than the bed! Save yourself some back and neck pain, and save your money and book somewhere else!

Booking .com did not issue credit to hotel, so guest had to pay out of pocket. I did not get refund. I am still waiting on refund, but if not refunded in 48hours 8 will post my thought on reviews. This is second time reaching out.

I wasn't given the room I reserved because they "overbooked" so I got a King room versus a two queen room. The booking also said "free parking" and they tried to charge $7.50 to park but waived it due to the inconvenience with the room.

Well maintained hotel, friendly staff. Very close tobthe freeway but very quiet inside. Room is large, beddings were good. Breakfast was much better than other similar hotels that i have stayed. Highly recommend it. Will be back again.

It was a waste of money and a deeply frustrating experience. I would not recommend staying here.

My stay overall was great. The staff at the front counter was friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and seems new. It is located conveniently near I-40. The surprise parking fee charge on my final bill for parking my vehicle at the hotel, however, was an unpleasant extra expense. The hotel should factor the parking fee into the overall cost of the hotel so that when someone is comparing hotels, it would be a fair comparison instead of having any hidden expenses.

Staff were extremely welcoming, and helpful with parking situation for big truck.

Shower had hair in it. Water pipes were right next to the head of the bed so we heard every sink toilet fluch, sink turn on, and shower. Can also easily hear anyone walking by your door/in the hall. Breakfast was ok. I tried this hotel instead of my usual flagstaff one and I will be switching back.

Hostel staff were polite and recomended Oregano's for Dinner.

I reserved a KING size bed back in July for a 1 night stay after an over night trip to horseshoe bend. I specifically reserved here 1 for the reviews & 2 for the king size n bed. They over booked & gave me 2 queens. When I questioned the front desk she lied & said Hotels.com booked as 2 queens

Breakfast wasn't ready at the stated time. House keeping wasn't great. Didn't always leave enough wash cloths and didn't replenish the coffee kcups. Front desk staff were excellent. Very helpful.

However disappointed that there was a parking charge. Really??? A $200+ room charge and a parking fee?

Basically inedible. - No room service unless you specifically requested, allegedly that is their policy that nobody mentioned to us, so we were surprised after returning after full day to see the room not cleaned, towels unchanged, beds unmade. - Indoor swimming pool is tiny

This is a relatively new property, and the rooms were very clean and nice. However, and be aware of this, they charge $7.50 for parking . . . in a typical hotel parking lot -- no covered parking nor near an airport. The hotel is located outside of town off the interstate. The clerk did not tell us there was a charge for parking, but just handed us a ticket for our dash that had $7.50 in very small print. I complained and contested the charge, which they did credit back. As nice as this hotel is we won't be staying here again, nor at any other Marriott in Flagstaff as the desk clerk told me they have all started charging a parking fee at their properties in town. Ever since Covid, the hotel industry has really been sticking it to travelers with reduced service and now added fees, as if traveling isn't stressful enough. It all just makes you want to stay home.

We had a wonderful stay at the Fairfield it was very clean and comfortable and we were able to rest and relax!

Afternoon receptionist wasn’t that different and we were already supposed to be “at idle tome” If it were for staff I would not recommend this hotel.

Water pressure in shower was strange and the drain was very slow. There was some obvious water damage around edges of ceiling and edges of tub in the bathroom. My 2 big suggestions for the property...put the brita water bottle fill station somewhere other than the fitness center..very distracting while you are working out. I was in the fitness center twice and both times there 5 or 6 pairs of people that came in just to fill their water bottles. Also I found it very odd that there was no way to clean off the equipment before or after using them. Feels unsanitary. 2nd time I used the fitness center I brought my own antibacterial gel and a towel, not ideal but certainly better than nothing.

This property exceeded my expectations. Easy access to the Fwy. The Rooms were nice and clean. Comes with free breakfast which was a big plus!

Breakfast was mediocre.

Centrally located for exploring the area including Grand Canyon.

Best hotel breakfast I’ve ever seen. Yummy waffles, lots of bagel and muffin choices, hot oatmeal with toppings, eggs and various breakfast sandwiches. Clean room. Cable TV is lousy but not their fault.

It was very loud throughout the night. We were on the third floor and it sounded as if pounding went on all night above us. Never did figure out what it was. Also, we were told there was a $7.50 charge for parking. We had one vehicle and it was not covered or anything special. There was adequate parking for everyone. Very surprised by this addition and will not stay there again.

Front desk staff were pleasant, but not very friendly. The breakfast was alright: scrambled eggs with sausage links/patties, waffle machine, cereals, pastries. The girl who worked the breakfast area during our stay deserves praise: she was constantly in and out of the kitchen replenishing food items and supplies all the while, keeping a nice and friendly demeanour. Coffee and tea offered all day and replenished by front desk staff if requested. Elevators were a bit strange in that there's a noticeable "bump" before coming to a stop and opening the door. The hotel was one of the more affordable options in the area with easy access to the highway.

Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff was great and friendly. The breakfast was good, lots of choices.
