Aiden by Best Western Flagstaff

Minor quibbles: the bathroom is *quite* small (but everything worked great, and plenty of hot water for the shower). The TV uses DirectTV, and there was an issue during our stay where almost no channels worked - I'm sure that is temporary. Those are very minor; I'd happily recommend this hotel! Better than most.

The only suggestion I have is that breakfast is included with the stay. Cute, clean and remodeled. The highlight is the pool area for sure!

Got so bad, I’m going back and fourth with her, corporate and hotels.com. It’s been a horrible experience. Would not recommend.

Where do I begin? The staff at the front desk during check-in was so helpful and knowledgeable. The pool area and area directly outside the pool had the fire pits and comfy seating. The room was immaculate with fresh and fluffy towels, comfy bed, and spacious room. Plenty of parking and close to everything. Bravo! 10 out of 10.

Aiden was an interesting hotel. It seemed new and somewhat trendy. But in its trendiness there wasn't much of a window, or a closet, or many drawers for clothes and the bathroom was the tiniest on our whole trip or home! But the bed was very comfortable, The exercise room had wonderful windows and pool area was very nice although we didn't use it. The last day I saw the washers and dryers. It looked very nice and useful. Altogether we enjoyed our stay except for the bathroom. Oh, and I liked the bit of carpet around the bed. Thanks for that.

It was pretty confusing because they attach the entrance along with the gas station so it’s very likely for people to get confused with the turn so not a big fan of the location. Other than that, everything else was comfortable.

I wasn’t a big fan of the shared door I had with my neighbors. I felt like I could hear them whisper! I wish the staff told me about that before giving me the key

Property was one of the cleanest I’ve stayed out and I’m incredibly picky when it comes to cleanliness. Check in was super smooth and the gentleman checking me in was friendly, informative and kind. The outside looks sketchy but I promise the inside is gorgeous.

Staff very indifferent both on check in and check out. After accessing the room I discovered the sink was full of water and not draining. Maintenance came and worked almost an hour and finally got it to drain. They said it would drain slow but would be okay. Not. Upon using the sink in the AM it quickly fill with water and would not drain. The smell from whatever was clogging the sink was terrible. They said they were sold out and couldn’t relocate us. No other compensation offered. Then there was the shower door on rollers that would not stay closed. You closed it and it would roll back open. It’s a challenge to try and shower and hold the door closed at the same time. Rooms have no closet. Only three pegs on the wall with four metal hangers. There was one drawer available to use. All of this for the low price of $288. My misfortune for booking on a holiday weekend. Upon checkout I informed the desk clerk about the sink and shower door and they offered no apology, simply a sarcastic okay. My advice would be to avoid this property if staying in Flagstaff AZ.

Photos of exterior were somewhat misleading pulling up didn’t recognize at night check-in! Overnight stay, Rooms, lobby, fitness centre & laundry were as advertised clean and quite nice.

Lovely hotel. Only thing was the pool wasn’t open only the hot tub which was t suitable for children.

Most annoyed there was NO CLOSET just a couple of hooks. Ok for 2 nights but not anything past. No FULL length mirror. It was close to many restaurants & gas stations. But they should not advertise Cafe because it’s not. Just choice of a few baked items. Bar & fire pits were nice. Staff was excellent!

I feel the Hotel should offer complementary coffee. They have two convenience store less than a hundred yards away, both serve a much less expensive higher quality of coffee. But over all the property is a great choice when visiting Flagstaff.

Nice hotel in area

This was a perfect stop between Sedona and the Grand Canyon. It was clean, modern, everyone was super friendly and even though the pool was not open for our stay, the hot tub was a perfect touch after a long day of hiking/travel. We will be back.

Bathroom was not clean, plumbing fixtures were loose in the shower. I have stayed at other hotels in Flagstaff for a better price and a whole lot cleaner. Only reason I picked this hotel was because it said newly renovated. Guess they missed my room.

The jets in the hot tub were not working and I had called previously to confirm they functional.

The outside property looked nice but inside was a different story. The rooms looked old, paint was coming off the wall and the shower door kept opening mid shower. I didn’t enjoy the stay.

We stayed 2 nights and the hotel amenities were great. The pool is currently closed due to the season but we did use the outdoor hot tub. The hotel also has a bar and my bartender made amazing margaritas at the happy hour rate!

I stayed in room 216 on the second floor. While the bed sheets appeared clean, the rest of the room was not properly maintained. The floor had not been vacuumed, I found hair and even fingernail pieces on it. The tile flooring also had visible stains. Since I was traveling with a toddler, I ended up having to clean the floor myself, which is not something any guest should have to do. Overall, cleanliness needs significant improvement.

The place was clean and comfortable. The only downside is that the bathroom was small in size. Staff was good not great. Entrance of the hotel is deceptive. Needs a clearer sign of where to turn into the hotel. Every driver we had turned into the wrong entrance even though we gave them instructions on what to look for.

Lack of staffing at check in. Had to wait on the bartender to serve 5 guests before being able to have him check us in.

The hotel itself is very nice, it’s the staff and amenities that could improve. I now refuse to use the room coffee makers so it would be nice to have coffee, tea, hot water available in the lobby like most hotels do. Also the check-in staff could use some customer service training. The woman grunted when she had to open the 24-hr fitness room for me as my access key would not work.

Short 1 night stay, but great lil hotel. Good pool area and large outdoor hot tub. They had multiple gas fire tables, open air and covered patio, plus turf & games that would've been a great spot to chill with more time and warmer weather. I'll be back

I hoped that the front desk would of offered some compensation or credit towards another stay. Instead offered that we should of let them know and we could of moved rooms in the middle of the night. We reserve for a double queen bed and when we arrive it was a single bed, call Expedia just offer to cancel the reservation. Besides one day I ask to make the room and she said yes, when we arrive the room was not clean, really upset with this 2 things that happened.

We had very comfortable stay during our visit. Hotel Staff is very helpful. Rooms are very clean and beds are really comfortable. Best location to stay if you are visiting Sedona.

I guess room size cannot be changed but it was tight. There was no storage. The bathroom was extremely small. The shower’s water pressure was low and not hot enough. For me no breakfast is a negative.

The breakfast here is paid for per item. It’s only available until 10am. But the room was very clean and updated. We thought it was wonderful for a best western! Close to everything!

The room was gorgeous. New. Bedding was clean. Hotel was modern and very clean. Pillows a big large/thick but bed was so pillowy soft you can get past the pillows!

They may have updated the interior, but the exterior still looks like the old motel they purchased before renovations. Inside the room, even with the remodel, it still feels more like an upgraded motel than a new hotel. The moment we walked in, there was a strange odor. The bathroom was tiny, and the bed was placed awkwardly close to the main entrance. The best parts were the lobby and outdoor area. They felt welcoming and clean, and it was nice to see people relaxing and hanging out. The jacuzzi and fire pits were a good size and added a nice touch. However, my biggest concern was the questionable crowd it seemed to attract. While we were outside, I noticed a man sneaking in and out through the side gate near the fire pit area. He didn’t look like a guest, and his behavior felt suspicious. When I went inside, he tried to follow me in, but when I looked at him, he pretended to search for a key card in his wallet. When I didn’t look away, he slipped back out through the gate. I also noticed a water bottle with a clear yellowish liquid near the side stairs outside the following morning. If you’re traveling alone or don’t mind that sort of environment, it might be fine, but as a parent with small kids, I found it a bit concerning.

Overall, the stay was good, but the bathroom was uncomfortably small. The shower and toilet area were so tight that anyone over 180 lbs would probably have a hard time using it.

The welcoming staff was wonderful and the room was just outstanding. We both have dust allergies and I am quite allergic to animal dander (cat and dog) and the room was just so clean! Minimal carpeting (thank you!) and minimalist decor (not to mention nice mid-century feel) really helped the environment feel fresh. No sneezing all night :)

Property is a renovated Econo Lodge. The vibe is cute, but it is still an old 70s property that has been covered up. Everything has been masked but I’m not a fan when I can see old through the new. On the positive bed was comfortable and it was quiet for being on the first floor near an exit. Staff is very friendly and parking was easy.

Unfortunately our room had a distinct mildew smell ( upon further examination we found it was the entire carpet), also the glass shower door kept sliding open while taking a shower. In general though the room was clean.

My wife and I were in Flagstaff for Parents' weekend. The hotel was within walking distance to our son's dorm at NAU. The interior looked modern, inviting and had a good vibe. Didn't get to use the pool and hot tub but the outdoor area was nice. Free or discounted breakfast would be awesome as well as better discounted happy hour.

This hotel is very clean and well kept up. There are no closets in the rooms, just hangers on the wall. However, the charges for the rooms are very reasonable for the value you receive. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. The internet worked very well, but it is a college town, so I expected that. I've stayed at lots of Best Western Hotels, but this is the only one that did not provide a breakfast buffet included. I would have appreciated that. Great service otherwise!

Very comfortable bed and pillows. Staff was very nice and helpful. They even loaned me a wine glass. Nice pool, hot tub and setting outside with fire pit an night. The only thing we didn't like was the placement of the microwave in the room. It was in a cabinet very close to the floor which made it hard to see the keypad and use the microwave. First time we booked an Aiden, would book again.

Room was very good but no where to hang clothes. Pool very good. No breakfast included. Spent 2 weeks in a variety of other chain hotels who included more for your money

The place was really nice family and kid friendly. The hotel was very clean in all their areas. Room was very comfortable and nice. Will definitely be staying here again when in flagstaff.

Clean and comfortable beds.

The property is very attractive. The large outdoor space, including firepits, the pool and jacuzzi, large outdoor games, covered seating, and even tables with built in iceboxes, made our 6-day visit relaxing. The room was comfortable, however, there is no place to store clothing. There was ONE drawer and shelf, and half a dozen hangers, in a room that sleeps 4.

The 9 and under boys football takeover was a ball! Beautiful fun property, the hospitality was amazing. The staff even gave the boys ice cream bars complementary.

Aiden by Best Western was the most comfortable hotel we stayed in in Arizona. Flagstaff was great and made an awesome exploring point for the rest of northern Arizona. The staff was friendly and helpful and the overall vibe of the hotel and the area was laidback and comfortable.

The lady who check me in on Sunday seemed rude and not friendly, what we came back from event and we were waking in the entrance, we got a mean side eye from her. Only issue but good hotel

We booked our trip to enjoy a stay cation and a few days out of the heat. (Most homes in flagstaff do not have AC, including ours.) we had so much fun! The pool is a blast, the hot tub is big, there is a nice bathroom right in the pool area, the play area is lovely. The view is awesome. Only thing missing is very breakfast but I know most chains are moving away from that offering anyway. Some folks might not like how crowded the pool and hang out area can get on a busy Saturday night but we had the whole place to ourselves for more of the day before that. We loved our “staycation” at The Aiden!

Staff was absolutely friendly! My daughter and I had a king bed and we slept very comfortably. The driving entrance to the hotel was tricky. Not your typical hotel entrance because you have to go up a driveway next to a gas station before the street when you're coming from the I17 freeway. Parking can be tight if you don't get there before the other guests if all the rooms were booked. I had a company softball tournament so my boss and other employees stayed at this hotel. I love the fact that the floor in the room was not all carpet. A lot easier to be clean. The shower head could have used some cleaning. Had a lot of built up but i was glad to use a shower that didnt just have hot water coming out of it loke we do in the valley.

Property was centralized to Flagstaff right off Milton Rd. Room was clean and facilities were well maintained. Included a small snack bar (for a fee) downstairs and also had a bar and cafe. Rooms are not sound proof, but for a quick stay it was great!

This was my second stay here. The first went well; but this time, somehow I ended up with a ADU room and the seat in the tub/shower was such that water ended up all over the floor. The shower control was either too hot or too cold; and the sink handle was sticky, with low pressure.

Comfortable room, quiet.

Clean, modern property that is conveniently located near Nothern Arizona Univ. A lot of restaurants, bars and breweries nearby. Has a good size out door hot tub and pool for the hot days. A bar and snack counter at the lobby with young, friendly staff. Overall, a very nice and convenient place to stay for travelers planing to go to Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest and Antelope Canyons.

My son said this was one of the best hotels I’ve ever booked. And I’d agree! Only thing I wasn’t too happy about was the size of the bathroom in the room. Only area for any privacy to change and it was a tiny area for the toilet and shower only.

Rooms were clean, spacious and quiet. The outdoor pool and hot tub was spacious, quiet, and great views. The outdoor games were fun. The outdoor fireplaces and seating was inviting. The gym was sufficient for working out.

I checked in very late (around 12 AM) and was told by the front staff person (a gentleman with a goatee) that I could have a late 12 PM check-out. Housekeeping came banging on my door at 11 AM telling me they had no record of this and I needed to pack my bags and go. They were rude to me and did not apologize for the mistake. The coffee maker in the room was broken. There is very limited parking because it is on a hill, so I had to park far away and walk up and down a hill to get to my room. Do not stay here if you are looking for professional, courteous staff and a welcoming accomodation.

Clean and convenient

Spent several days camping and wanted a shower and a real bed before driving 9 hours home, syaff was friendly and helped me find some good places to eat since I've never been there before. Had a drink at their bar before heading to bed and the gentleman working was friendly & efficient, joined in the conversations enough to be fun and make the time down there more enjoyable. Definitely a comfy and fun place to stay

The remodeled property is great but it can be loud near the lobby. Try to get a room that’s further away.

Convince of having a washer/dryer on property was a plus. The beds were a little on the smaller side and i wish there was closet space. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

It was an okay stay. There was black looking mold on the walls in the bathroom and there was some sort of large group that met and surrounded our vehicles in the morning when we were trying to leave. One of the members of the group even got IN my car when my husband unlocked it momentarily to put some of our things away. It was insane. No breakfast, which sucked. Otherwise, beds were super comfy and it was clean. Better than the place we are at in New Mexico that has bugs in the beds.

I was very happy staying at this hotel. Rooms and hotel is very well kept/clean and they smell so good. Rooms are sound proof/quiet. The bed was comfortable, shower was amazing, dry bar toiletries and a great hair dryer. The staff were so kind and helpful! Thank you for a terrific 3-day stay.

amazing hotel and super safe and close to gas station so easy to fill up in the morning. palm-springs like interior and a very clean pool and jacuzzi. our person checking us in was super friendly and we felt comfortable to ask for little this and that’s.

The staff was very friendly. Not only did they have a pool and hot tub theyhad yard games and places to hang out outside so you can enjoy the weather.

It’s a nice new property that is very clean. My only complaint is that the bathroom is TINY and the water pressure in the shower is non-existent. Other than that it was awesome.

I loved how easy and quick check in was.

Like to leave upbeat reviews, however no TV for our first two of four nights spent was without an operable TV remote. Seemed like a simple fix…not. Manager’s take operator error and we just needed to get out of bed and stand next or in front of the TV to change channels. Oh the TV sensor is bad and he gave us a microwave bag of popcorn as a gesture of kindness for our ignorance not realizing the obvious. Next item: feces stained towel. Why didn’t they discard this towel? Disgusting.

It’s 10 minutes away. Rooms are a little small. The bathroom is very small. Price was good, so it’s a good hotel.
