Stayed 3 nights. Room was clean and good size. I would be staying here again.

Great location but access from freeway needs help!

For a casino that has been around since 2004 there are no amenities! But they do keep on adding more gaming areas! The casino is like a maze! The non-smoking rooms still smell of smoke! Of course that could be because the smoking game area is below and it filters throughout the entire casino!

Love the little garden in the center of casino, relaxing place to take a break , have morning coffee.

Not for people traveling with adult children under 21.

Staff interactions were short/ bordering on bizarre. My husband was chastised for smoking on the casino floor AND for using the main entrance ( staff assumed he was a maintenance worker) and the cleaning crew left their supplies in our room after we didn’t request stay over service. The amenities were bare boned and lacking. The worst part though was the security and metal detectors at each entry point- doesn’t exactly scream welcome or relax.

Going to the bar(which we never found) should NOT be the only place to get your bottle of water! And the bathtub really needs some kind of bar to help senior citizens how to safely take a shower!

What made things worse is that the staff did not provide clear or helpful directions when asked. For a place that’s this hard to locate, you would expect employees to give precise instructions—but that wasn’t the case. On top of that, security requires you to show your ID every single time you return to the hotel area, which quickly becomes inconvenient and repetitive, especially during a short stay. Overall, the lack of clear access, poor guidance from staff, and constant security checks made the experience unnecessarily stressful. I would not recommend staying here unless these issues are improved.

I find it hard to believe that EQC Sponsors the Seattle Mariners, and yet you can't get Mariners game on TV in the rooms. The hotel doesn't subscribe to get the games even though they sponsor them. I had to watch on my phone. RIDICULOUS!!!

Still love this place! It is our "go to" place everytime we head over to the left coast (Sea Tac) area.

Ate Clean . Fife , where I stayed was Great , as Usual . Problem is that the Construction seems to be never ending . Please finish the Construction

So smoky everything is closed off for an on going remolding the walk to the parking lot took 10 minutes you have to go all the way around. Never again

Stayed while waiting to pick a relative up from the airport. Clean. Plenty of parking. Would have liked it if the casino was nicer to me but that’s on me lol

The rooms were clean and spacious. The guy at the front desk was super helpful and fun - sorry we didn’t catch his name. There was lots of free parking. Only downsides were that you had to walk through the smoky casino to get to the hotel lobby and that the room did smell a little like smoke, likely off the clothing of people who had previously stayed. The food at the deli in the hotel was very nice.

The room wasn't what I wanted

The rooms are spacious and clean. My only complaint is the pervasive odor of smoke, less in the non-smoking areas, but still noticeable.

This hotel was so amazing and the staff was so friendly. The suite we had was much bigger than expected and we enjoyed it so much.

The room smelled so bad, we had to have the window open the entire time we stayed, which didn’t help. I had an asthma attack because of how Smokey the room smell was. On the positive side, The staff were very nice!

Room was just ok, the problem is that the entire place is overwhelming smokey, even in the rooms. Was on the fourth floor (top) and way down the hall and room still was choking me out with smoke from casino. Clothes then smelled like smoke rest of trip. Other than that it was just ok. Lots of slots, no table games. Like the free soda.

We didn't use the casino, but I can say the pool was lovely. The staff were amazing. They were accommodating to our needs and made our stay smooth.

Emerald Queen is a Seattle Mariners sponsor, but they don't have the Mariners channel available on the TV in the rooms. Seems ridiculous.

There needs to be a better choice for dinning. The restaurant closed at 10pm way to early especially on the weekends!!

They advertise non smoking rooms far from that I had 2 rooms on the second floor and both rooms had a strong odor of smoke . False advertising.

It was very nice but renovations going on so it was hard to get it from one place to another. The staff was semi nice and the place wasn’t that clean, but it was manageable.

We left. We didn’t even stay. Smelled awful. Sketchy people. Don’t waste your money like me.

The only issue was that my minor granddaughter had to walk through a Smoky Casino to get to the Hotel Lobby and no amenities for a teenager other than swimming if the weather is good.

The rooms were very clean, staff was amazing all around.

Had lots of parking and looked secure. Was a little confusing to find the hotel lobby. Room was nice and clean.

Room smelled like smoke. Shower water temp was scalding hot and then cold continuously. No daily turnover for restocking coffee, etc. Staff were super grumpy.

Smoking smell

Staff was helpful, room was clean upon appearance, but my mom and I were both bit by bedbugs on 3/29/26. We stayed in room 408 and didn’t notice bites until we had checked out and left. Unfortunate this is the first time this has ever happened to us, and we have been staying at this property for over 25 years, even before it was a casino.

Staff was nice, room was clean and food was good.

I had 3 rooms, 2 of which were standard, 1 a suite. I stayed in the suite and had a hard time sleeping first 2 nights...Loud banging of pipes, and leaking water from shower. Went to have lunch day 2 at EQC down the road a bit and immediately made plans to check out the following day. Was not my idea of a"good stay"!

Amazing stay

We were treated absolutely so rude. Website isn’t user friendly. We knew there were 2 locations but nothing specifies which restaurant is at which. The hotel signs are inconspicuous so not easily seen. But honestly it was the patronizing and condescending staff. We were there for an event outside of the hotel but the amount of crackheads and suspicious activity in and around the hotel was alarming.

Just like any other hotel. Bed was okay, room clean. The smell of smoke was really bad although room is nonsmoking. Had to buy air freshener to mask the smell a bit.

For the non-smoking side there were tons of options and it was a very nice casino.

Again as stated in my previous review, this was a very inconvenient stay. All the casinos that I have stayed in, have always had a separate entrance for hotel guests. It’s best inconvenient to drag your luggage through security and the casino. You can tell that hotel guests are not their top priority

Will not stay there again. I have stayed at many casino hotels and have never dealt with the fact that they don’t have a specific entrance for hotel guests. We had to drag all of our luggage through security and through the casino. The smoke was so bad, that it drifted up into our room. I’m a smoker, and it was still annoying. The staff was mediocre and you can tell that the hotel guests are not their top priority. We couldn’t get coffee Saturday morning because the deli didn’t open until 11am. Sorry that we didn’t want the coffee that sat out all night at the beverage station. They don’t offer much for food, and what they do offer is overpriced.

Amenties. We have stayed here (past 3 years) before and at first the smoke smell coming into the hotel was an issue, but we could get past that because we loved the pool. This stay, we were looking forward to the pool but weren't informed that it was not working at check in, so that was a huge disappointment!

Hotel lobby is in the middle of the casino. We had to go through security, then through the smokers area every time we needed to get to our room.

Hot tube is listed on the site but not working. That was the main reason that we chose this hotel. The casino smell so bad. I had to hold my breath when I walked in and out. Horrible experience. No more casino hotel for me next time.

The room was in a casino so the only problem I had was walking through the entrance & smelling the smoke until I got in the elevator to go up to my room. I have asthma & the smoke irritates my lungs causing bronchospasms (wheezing). Because of this, I will not book @ room @ a casino in the future.

Found eaten, stale chicken wings on floor in suite …

We got wiff of smoke smell after we had been in the room. In the middle of the night we could smell smoke. We smelled our clothes thinking it was them. No smoke smell. We think their ventilation system or filters is the issue. We even moved from 2nd floor to 4th floor, made no difference. Not wanting to stay there again.

Needed a room for a night with our dogs due to plumbing issues. Clean and friendly.

Front desk (Terry) was extremely helpful and courteous. The entire hotel smells like smoke, even on the 4th floor rooms, so just be prepared.

It was a horrible experience and we did not stay there at all and had to find other accommodation. They had security check points and patted arriving guests down to get inside the hotel. The entrance was aslo a casino filled with intoxicated people that was not very welcoming at all for me or my wife. I would like a refund, we expressed that to the hotel and said we have to take it up with hotels.com for a refund.

Went through our stuff before letting us in our room. You had to go through Casino security, scanning id everytime we came back. The Tacoma one was only when we went into the casino. I think i paid cheap per night...for some reason I got cheap and chose Fife. The room was decent and clean with water spots on the celing. Crooked lights and mirror. Complaint at both would be the cigarette smoke...walking by or through the Casino to get to the Hotel. .This is a very bad neighborhood with a huge homeless population but the property feels safe. I would drive everywhere not the type of place you want to take a stroll and explore unless you're street smart.

Staff were wonderful. Although the room appeared very clean, it smelled very stale of old cigarettes. The linens also were not fresh and had a musty smell. The coffee sugar / creamer were very old and wouldn’t even dissolve

Stay was great. The casino was dirty but mostly because of the smokers just ashing their cigarettes all over the machines and even putting them out on the machines. Im a smoker myself but thats just disgusting behavior.

Room was not ready at check-in time, there was no fan in the bathroom, there was no hot water in the sink in the bathroom, the sink did not drain, the Keurig did not work properly, staff entered room w/o permission, and the TV remotes did not work well. We would stay here again as we did have fun but would be more critical of the room.

I was satisfied overall with my stay at EQC but since I did not stay there for gambling opportunities some things did not work so well. Passing through the smokey casino is not family friendly or for those who dislike smoke. The room walls were not well insulated so we were bothered a few times by noises from other rooms. Dining options were limited. The room rates and parking availability, on the other hand, were great and made it worthwhile. The rooms were in good condition and clean. The staff all went out of their ways to be helpful.

The restaurant service and food quality in the upstairs bar was excellent. The bartender was fantastic. The check in process was easy and the lady who checked me in was first rate.

Would rate higher, except the hot water was off this morning between 4:00 and 7:00 A.M. My shower and shave routine is in the morning and I have to leave the hotel by about 5:30, so it was exactly the time I needed hot water. One would think this would be done overnight for a hotel or mid day when most people wouldn't be showering.

Totally terrible stay. Beds are old and uncomfortable. Decor is dated. Cigarette smoke was in the rooms in the morning either due to the poor ventilation or someone smoking in the hallway. You have to pass through the casino to get to your room and must have ID. The pool is a bleak environment with blank walls all around. Cannot walk anywhere as the road is a truck route.

Terrible place

Pool was closed due to chemicals for 3 of the 4 days we stayed. Restaurant was upscale pricing for below average food. Very Smokey environment. Garage parking lot smelled like urine. One of the worst casinos I’ve have ever stayed at during my lifetime. Just slots no other gaming except for a video screen sportsbook. Needs to be remodeled or just start over.

Everything was great except the pool and hot tub were down and had to walk the kids through part of the smoke filled casino to get to the hotel.

The restaurant had great food and big portions. The room was clean but smelled like smoke really bad. Our shower drain broke so the tub would not drain and there was no body wash in the shower dispenser. It was nice having a non-smoking gaming area and the front desk staff was very nice. Parking was a little tricky because there is an outdoor lot by the casino and 2 parking garages by the hotel, but you can’t see the garages unless you travel further down the road.

Didn't like that going in and out of the hotel had to go through security stations every time. Roo.s had very small refrigerator with no freezer. Also no microwave to reheat anything and no knife to cut fruit because of xray and metal detectors coming into hotel

Easy check in and nice staff. The room are clean and spacious for standard rooms. The only thing is that the hotel entrance is the same entrance as the casino floor so they really strict about people coming in and we having to be ID every time which I think was ever inconvenience. But our family would definitely stay here again and the cost of each night is so reasonable.

The property is old and full of smoke. You have to walk through a smoke filled casino to get up the hotel lobby. There is a new Emerald Queen that is a few exits up the highway and I unfortunately booked the wrong one. The area is also full of homeless people and street walkers. I would not stay there again

The actual room was great. But the room was hard to get to. You have to go through security and get your ID checked everytime. There also is no way to get to your room without walking through a smoking floor.

We stayed one night and had a very comfortable stay. The room was big and clean. Overall, great experience and would stay again.

Was adequate for what I needed it to be. Although the rooms are non-smoking, there’s a strong smell of smoke from the casino downstairs.

They had a lot of 24 hour options for food and convenience stores which I always appreciate when I’m traveling. Everything was straight forward and quick service. Staff was helpful and knowledgable, I never had to search for staff there were always employees close by willing to help or answer questions.

Price was great. Hotel was safe inside, but outside around property was unsafe, to many "night walkers". Great for a short stay.

Pros: lots of security, the room was clean, the hotel check in was easy, the pool and hot tub was enjoyable

Our room was very spacious for the price and a great location. We stayed one night to be closer to an early morning event we had to get to. We appreciated the early check in exception made and the room was pretty quiet to sleep in. Unfortunately the shower did not fully have hot water and there were parts of our room like the water glasses that were not clean.

I enjoyed that there was ample parking and it was free.

Nice clean and spacious room. Excellent value stay for the location. I would stay here again if the price beats comparable 3 star hotels in the area.The onsite restaurant was good. Use the entrance near the free parking garage for a faster route to hotel check-in. It’s a better option if you want to play some slots of course.

I was truly surprised with the accommodations, our room was roomy, clean and very appealing. The staff and the security folks were friendly and helpful. It was nice that they just opened up a non smoking gambling area too.

We had a great stay! The only issue I have is walking to the hotel side through he casinos. It was extremely smoky and my son and I have asthma.

A good place to stay for a short visit. No laundry facilities so if you’re swimming you will have to find somewhere to keep your wet clothes. Lady at front desk was rude, made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome just for asking for pool towels.

Normally the rooms, casino and areas outside the casino are nice and clean. Must be having an off season. Our room didn’t appear clean. Trash left in garbage, shower looked like someone had used it recently, shower gel running down side of tub. Slot machines are so tight, $300 and not one machine went into a bonus round.

This is primarily a casino. Show ID to enter the property all of the time, every entrance. Magnetron screening all the time, every entrance. Not the experience we expected. Room was adequate to rest or sleep. Not built for comfortable living.

While the people were great and the service was fine, the smoking area in the hotel and the smell in the rooms were not pleasant. It reeked pretty badly.

The rooms were clean and nice sized, staff was great and the location was nice with easy access to I5 and restarants/shopping but we won't stay here again.

Hotel smells like cigarette smoke due to smoking on the casino floor, I mentioned it to two different staff members and both of them mentioned how this is a common complaint and ““ our HVAC doesn’t filter all the smoke out. Give me a break. Do not stay here if you do not like cigarette smoke it’s disgusting

Enjoyed the facility and won money

The parking was a bit of a challenge to find for disabled spots and getting luggage in past security to entrance in casino was a chore. The card reader was broken and wouldn’t work at check in which prolonged that process. Rooms were comfortable, clean, quiet. Liked that they had security on site.

Unfortunately as a casino, there is a hazy of tobacco smoke as you enter the lobby from the parking garage which has plenty of parking spaces. The room has the smell of tobacco even though smoking is not supposed to be allowed in the room.

The parking and hotel entry sucked! Had to haul our luggage so far. And having to walk through the smoking area of the casino with all my luggage to get to the hotel lobby was a PAIN!! I will never stay here again. And i dont recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful stay

Our first time staying here and it was great! Tatoosh was a pleasant surprise. Amazing food and amazing service.

Upon entry into the hotel, the smoke-filled casino room smell was a part of the lobby. The smell of smoke was overbearing when checking in. The hotel room was okey. Elevator took time to get to the floors. My family's only concern was the lobby smelled of too much smoke.

Not sure whose fault but I had rented a suite and was first given a single room. After much hassle they finally gave us the suite.
