We stayed 7 nights at the Amelia Island Residence Inn.. It was a great location. Lots of restaurants nearby. Harris Teeter grocery store is great to have very close by.. The suite we had was very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen, except we were disappointed to not have an oven. We like to bake healthy foods instead of using a frying pan, but we did okay with just a stove top.. The beds are very comfortable.. The breakfast each morning was very good. All the employees at the hotel were wonderful and helpful.. I have to give a special shout out to "ROBIN" at the front desk, who was there when we checked in.. Oh my goodness, was she ever so nice and informative to us.. She left the desk and took us to two different suites, so we could choose which one we would like best. She gave us lots of brochures to look at, about activities on the island. We so appreciated her kindness to us after a long drive to get there.. If I could talk to the person in charge of pay raises, I would definitely suggest Robin to be considered for one... lol-I hope she hears about this review.

Great staff, location, shuttle is amazing.

Nice breakfast, very good customer service (breakfast employees were great!), I think the hotel itself could be maintained a little better but overall nice, quiet, comfortable. Needed a tad more space in the suite (poor design). Water pressure was terrible and the shower nozzle needed replacing. I would return but a little disappointed in the cleanliness and upkeep for the price. Location was great, as well but beach access was further than we thought.

Top notch staff!!!

Staff was very friendly and the hotel is well appointed. Nice location and close to the beach and great restaurants. A daily breakfast with great options, onsite sundry store and a courtesy bus that will take you around the island!

Batteries in tv remote ran out. There was a sheet missing and no pillows for the pullout sofa bed.

Stayed here twice on our trips to Amelia Island. Some of the friendliest and most helpful staff around. Our rooms both times were big with a full kitchen. Feels like a nice studio apartment more than a hotel room!

Great place to stay. Rooms clean and great selection for breakfast. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Ice cream machine! The kids loved it!

This was one of the nicest hotels that I have stayed at in Fernandina Beach. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. The pool and hot tub were nice! I will definitely book to stay here again in the future!

We really enjoyed this hotel. The room was clean & comfortable. The location was perfect and the free shuttle was a nice bonus. We loved the ice cream in the afternoons! Our only complaints are the pool wasn’t clean a few days during our stay and the room had a very strong smell when we checked in. I’m not sure what they used to clean but it was really too strong and almost made me feel sick. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Pool is not heated. Staff was excellent. Room was clean and hotel well maintained but Toilets never brushed under rims left odor in bathroom. Internet room door was severely damaged it looked like it was broken into. I would say this hotel is a good choice if you are not looking to swim. Breakfast was above average and this is a nice hotel. But check in could not make keys so it took 15 minutes to make keys. Internet did not work without calling support for access code even being a Bonvoy member the internet access was not recognized. Room sizes are excellent with work space available.
