However, there were several complaints about maintenance issues such as broken AC, shower problems, and dirty rooms. Some guests also mentioned noise from the freeway and issues with parking.

Overall just ok for a 1 night stay
- 5/5
The tub/shower combination was just fine, with shampoo and body wash, but no conditioner so bring your own! Thankfully, I had packed that anyhow. Location was most convenient for our running around and visiting friends and family. The breakfast was good with a nice selection of warm food, fruit, juices, dry cereal, coffee, or tea. Was a little surprised by the $10 night parking fee, may have been in the information so may have missed it … Staff was friendly and helpful!
- 5/5
Every thing was on point
- 5/5
No worries stay
- 5/5
But overall, everything was great!
- 5/5
The only complaint was how cheap the Coffee Pot was.
- 5/5
Ample parking, great breakfast, indoor pool, good gym area.
- 5/5
It was well centered, many restaurants around the property. They had good breakfast and very kind employees.
- 1/5
I will not stay here any more in the future. The check in staff was very very impatient when we asked her about WiFi and EV charger. No free parking, no ev charger, the breakfast is so so and there is no even dining area, people have to eat breakfast in lobby…I was charged 3 overnight parking though I only stayed 2 nights. The checkout staff fixed it after I pointed out but didn’t say anything like sorry…they gave me a QR code card at check in but after I scanned it I was charged one night parking extra and then they said I should not have scanned it. It is very confusing. Their service and amenities are not worth the price at all!
- 3/5
Clean hotel. Good breakfast. Had to request a room cleaner to take down trash, toilet paper and clean towels after no one came to our room for 2+ days.
- 5/5
Great location great price clean rooms and good parking definitely a gem in this area
- 1/5
The room too bright because the curtain was missing, so very hard to get good sleep and we were tired so you can imagine and the toilet won’t flush, the bathtub was very slowly draining
- 5/5
Great breakfast
- 4/5
Great location with restaurants and stores.also very easy access to highways.
- 3.5/5
Room and room door was heavily vandalized. Considering we stayed 5 nights , we should have been given a nicer looking room, unless a lot of the rooms have vandalized furniture.
- 4/5
The pillows were very small and uncomfortable.
- 4/5
The breakfast was amazing 10 out of 10. I didn't realize that we had to pay for parking at a hotel where we already rented a room. I thought that was a bit odd.
- 3/5
I’m not the kind of person to ask for a discount but I definitely feel ripped off.
- 4/5
If you're looking for a nice, roomy place to sleep, they will provide. The pool is small, and parents do not mind how their kids' actions affect other guests; you may have to KINDLY say something. The place is large, and the double queen room was spacious enough for another bed, with a tiny bathroom. Yes, there may be a scuff mark here and there, but that didn't affect our getting a good night's rest before our competition.
- 5/5
The front desk lady Nikki was very nice and helpful. I appreciate her Energy places always nice and clean and their rooms are always kept together the way they’re supposed to be our recommend staying here if you’re moving around a lot because it’s not too far from Tacoma and it’s not too far from Bremerton and it’s not too far from Seattle or the airport just a recommendation if you move around a lot.
- 5/5
Easy parking and check i! Great rooms and accommodations!
- 5/5
excellent clean rooms Nice breakfast
- 4/5
own waffles with topping and egg, hashbrowns, meat, toast, muffins, bagels, fruit, juice, etc. My king sized bed had 4 tiny pillows, a shower that would only give warm or cold water not hot water. Also you had to pay for parking $10 plus gst a night. The staff were friendly.
- 3/5
Everything was ok
- 5/5
excellent excellent
- 2.5/5
Location Sparse furnitre. No shampoo in shower. Unappetizing breakfast
- 1/5
My TV couldn't see it hardly at all ne er was fixed while I was there which really was a bummer considering I had 2 kids with me we couldn't watch TV took forever to get towels kids needed up having to go get them themselves
- 4/5
The room and staff were good. The eggs at breakfast tasted like they were from a box so not my cup of tea. I was told I would receive an email receipt which I haven't gotten yet. Also, I didn't know I would have to pay for parking, so I may look elsewhere next time.
- 2.5/5
The location was great, it was clean, hot tub and pool were perfect, great breakfast! For booking my room months in advance and requesting closer to the pool, I was surprised how far I was put from the pool. Booking was showing I could upgrade my room, but staff insisted there were no rooms available. Booking quoted my room $200+ cheaper than what the front desk charged me. You have to pay for parking which is new and ridiculous. We've been staying here multiple times a year for 4 years straight, and this is the first year the staff was rude. The pull out bed in the coach was awful, and they had no extra blankets to give us.
- 5/5
Very satisfied
- 5/5
Best Hotel in Federal Way, 10/10 Experience every time we stay thank you guys.
- 4/5
One of the better hotels I've strayed at. It was clean staff was friendly and the breakfast was very enjoyable
- 5/5
Everything was neat and clean
- 3/5
Loved the view, people were coming down the hallway leaving at 2 am very loud woke me up
- 2/5
Elevator was out order. So many people in and out and had to wait longer for the elevator
- 5/5
We had some issues checking in, not the hotel's fault, but we were given complimentary parking and the staff was very nice. Luis at front desk is amazing Everything was perfect.
- 5/5
Clean average room
- 5/5
Amazing service by hotel staff!
- 4.5/5
Great breakfast and very friendly front desk staff. Nothing.
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 5/5
The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were nice. Good variety available for breakfast. Overall a very nice stay.
- 5/5
The staff was very kind.
- 1/5
The room was found to be unclean and emitting a foul odor. Despite requesting cleaning services three times, the issue was not adequately addressed. This experience was very disappointing and negatively impacted my stay, tarnishing the reputation of Hilton.
- 5/5
Our room was very clean and our stay was enjoyable. Jennyrose checked us in at the front desk and she was amazing and very sweet.
- 5/5
Great place, good staff, clean and convenient
- 3.5/5
not happy being on freeway side
- 2/5
Breakfast options were good and very filling. Location was accessible and close to many stores and restaurants. The area where you get food is small and space is very tight with people getting crammed lining up to get food. It took us a while to get food overall since they only have 2 waffle maker and people were lining up for it and you can’t just easily access the food that you specifically want without disturbing the line. The space was very tight with people lining up for food. The configuration of the food area was very poor. Our AC did not work in the first room assigned to us so they had to move us to a different room on the main level which fairly was a little bigger and better configuration than the first room that we got. The bathroom was disappointing since every time we use the water in the tub, the shower automatically turns on and you get sprayed with cold water while still adjusting the temperature. The water in the shower does not get hot enough. The cold water marking gives you hot water and the hot water marking gives you cold water which was annoying in the shower. Every time we need something from our room they would tell us to go to the main desk to get it since housekeeping can be busy & would take a while. One person that is tending the breakfast area was pretty rude in front of us. I accidentally spilled some batter for the waffle and he got pretty upset and said “darn it” in front of us which made me very uneasy and uncomfortable as a customer having a staff getting upset at you for something that was an accident. There were other instances during breakfast that was very disappointing with the service. The hot tub was not working and not usable when we used the pool area and the pool water was a bit cold. Overall we were disappointed during our stay at this hotel being it a Hampton Hotel.
- 5/5
Very nice staff
- 5/5
Excellent service and comfortable clean rooms
- 4/5
Great hotel… it lived up to the Hilton name.
- 2/5
Pool was dirty, elevator was slow and only one of the two were working. You have to pay for parking.
- 5/5
Great job
- 3/5
Less sugar loaded dry ceral. Did not like paying for parking.
- 3/5
Every time we left the facility our key cards would not work upon return. Very annoying to have to go back down to office when one of the elevators was also out of service.
- 2.5/5
Pool was dirty
- 4/5
The room was beautiful and clean! The breakfast. The eggs were horrible the muffins were too sweet and the fruit wasn't that good. I think they should have the same breakfast as the Embassy Suites by the Hilton in Tukwila, Wa. They had the best breakfast I've ever had in hotel. Also, the elevator was out of order. The TV was too dark and there wasn't a setting to make it brighter.
- 5/5
Excellent service kind and very helpful staff.
- 4/5
Clean room, very nice staff, comfortable beds, the only down side is the pool wasn’t working during my stay. My kids really wanted to swim since it’s and indoor pool but it wasn’t working.
- 4/5
The atmosphere was clean and inviting with a very good breakfast included.
- 5/5
Nothing
- 2/5
Body wash empty on second day. No blow dryer. Key doesn’t work.
- 1/5
Double charged for room and the refused to refund the amount
- 5/5
Location was great, the staff were kind, very clean all over and great pool. We were bummed about the hot tub out of order but other than that that everything was great.
- 3/5
She was not welcoming and made it seem like she was doing me a favor
- 5/5
A minor thing, one of our beds was settling, so rotating out old mattress would be great.
- 3/5
Hot tub not working. Wish we would have known.
- 2/5
Staff isn’t friendly and they charge for parking
- 4/5
Problem free
- 3/5
The staff was always stellar. But this hotel is showing its age and could use some lovibg care. Hot tub was broken for our whole stay and the pool was so cold it was unusable.cor awhile one of the elevators was out of service. The outside card reader was on the fritz most of the time.
- 4.5/5
Small towels , 1 piece of soap for 2 of us for 2 days we arrived at night had shower night and morning
- 2/5
Pool was cold, hot tub wasn’t available. Food was fine
- 4/5
We had a good stay. There were appropriate sleeping areas for our entire group. Breakfast satisfied all and got us ready for our day. The only complaints are that the pool was cold (and this was from a kid!) and the hot tub not operational.
- 5/5
Service was great we love it I have no complaints
- 5/5
Staff was great! Especially the front desk she is very helpful
- 3/5
The guy serving breakfast seemed very annoyed and was very intimidating. Wasnt friendly and was very bossy. He made me feel like i wasn't allowed to touch anything. Idk just gave me an uncomfortable vibe.
- 3/5
Worn.
- 4/5
Clean rooms, very friendly front desk staff. Breakfast was well stocked as it was eaten up. Location is great and right off the freeway. Lots of parking.
- 5/5
Location will be even more convenient when the light rail opens nearby.
- 4/5
Room and staff were great and professional. My only complaint was that I had to pay eleven dollars a car to park in the hotel parking lot. Thats crazy. No parking for a nice hotel like this? That seemed pretty "low rent" to me.
- 4/5
The only reason for the 4 stars was the freeway noise with no way to turn up the fan to cover the noise.
- 5/5
Room was spotless, love the drop down black out blinds, and the front desk staff were amazing.
- 4/5
Big, clean. Bed could have been more comfortable. Breakfast was good lots of choices.
- 5/5
Staff was excellent, especially Ester
- 5/5
Love this hotel
- 4/5
Staff was courteous, the room was lovely except for smelling overly like perfume. Also, the provided soap and lotion smell awful and cheap. Feels chintzy cheap to charge guests for parking, though. Parking is not really at a premium in the area, so it just feels like a hidden surcharge of $10/night. Just raise the room rates
- 5/5
Room great, check in and out great, clean (service people friendly), breakfast was ok wheres the bacon too much sauage.
- 5/5
It was an all around great stay.
- 3/5
The room was decent. Most female staff was pleasant, my mom and sister had negative interactions with male staff. My mom has Parkinson’s so she’s a little bit slower when moving around and during breakfast an older male seemed upset that the waffle machine was beeping nonstop because she didn’t turn it quick enough, and my sister with the front desk male was rude to her when she went for a key. The breakfast was good. The only thing we hated was that after leaving the room we had to get a new key because it would stop working. They need to improve that!
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
Great Hotel Best in the Federal Way/Seattle Area, Highly Recommend when visiting the Seattle area 10/10.
- 5/5
The breakfast menu had lots of items. The property was in great condition
- 3/5
This trip was 4 nights. No follow up by manager or staff after somebody tried to get into my room early in the morning. No phone cord to the phone to call front desk. Everyone was apologetic but nobody looked at the cameras or followed up with me. I was very shaken up I followed up with them ant the end of the day and was told nobody had looked at the cameras yet but they would and let me know. Was told a phone cord would be sent up and it never arrived. I was told there was a homeless camp nearby. I am disenchanted with their lack of follow up and concern. I stay there quite often for business but this will not be my first or second choice in the future. The rooms are nice and the breakfast is good.
- 3/5
Loved Nichole!
- 4/5
Everything was perfect 👌
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Very clean and the staff is very friendly!
- 3/5
The main floor bathroom wasn't clean
- 5/5
The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable and staff was very friendly and helpful. They serve a great breakfast and its dog friendly!
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful, pleasant and the facility was well kept and clean. We enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Very Nice!
- 5/5
Front desk was easy and super friendly and the room was super clean and nice
- 2/5
Check-in was fine, but our room had a musky odor that worsened when the AC turned on. My son started gagging, and I developed a headache. When I asked for a room change, I was told the hotel was “fully booked” and advised I could go find another hotel, with a refund possibly considered later. Instead, they offered to have maintenance check the unit. I left the room since it was unbearable, sat in the lobby for over an hour, and noticed other guests being given choices on their rooms — so clearly not all assignments were locked. Eventually, I was told maintenance found “no issues” and again offered nothing. Only after I pressed Hilton’s policy that a guest must be accommodated if a room is unacceptable was I finally given a different room, which was fine. Ironically, when my son later re-entered the first room to get a forgotten item, it reeked of heavy deodorizer, showing staff clearly recognized the issue but tried to mask it. The front desk promised to involve management and add points to my Hilton account, neither of which happened. The entire experience felt dismissive, lazy, and disingenuous. I won’t stay here again unless Hilton makes this right. Do yourself a favor and pick the Courtyard next door, which has far better service and reviews.
- 4/5
Close to shopping & restaurants
- 5/5
The room was perfect for our family of 5. The staff members were extremely helpful and kind. We'll book here again in the future for events in the south sound area.
- 5/5
The furniture was beat up. But it was good enough for one night.
- 3/5
Everything is close, breakfast very decent
- 1/5
The carpet was sticky and not clean. The bedsheets in the fold out couch were not changed and dirty. The breakfast staff was rude. The parking lot is not safe. our windows got broken out and items got stole.
- 5/5
The complimentary Breakfast tasted good!!!! unlike most places that taste bland
- 4/5
Since I always do a search for hotels that includes the "free parking" option, I was surprised to be hit with a $10 parking fee.
- 3.5/5
Staff was wonderful and upgraded me once I let them know my room was not completely cleaned, there were wet rags in the shower and quickly switched me over to a clean new room. Room was not initially cleaned and could have been a real inconvenience after a full day of travel and arriving on property to check into a clean room as expected when checking into a hotel.
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
I like breakfast it was good and clean.
- 3/5
The staff was nice but the room smelled terrible. Mirror was dirty, mysterious stains on headboard.
- 2/5
I am in commenting on check in up till this very moment at 11:15. 1. Parking is NOT free when you’re staying here. It’s over 11 dollars. SO ridiculous and was NOT on the website. 2.) the website asked if I had any requests and tequested a rolling extra bed as I had 5 people and one bed and one sofa bed and only two people could fit in each. So I will be sleeping on the floor. When I brought this to their attention that I had requested this online under “any requests?” They told me they do not offer that and Expedia should have called them to verify if that’s something they can even offer and they aren’t responsible for what third party’s post. YET- Hampton a can see our reservation information. 3. There were not enough towels for 5 people. Not SO terrible I just thought that was common sense. When I called they told me I had to come to the front desk to get it. So I did. And when I got there they didn’t have them ready so I had to wait on them to go and get them where they store the towels. I’ve never experienced this in any hotels before. They have always had enough towels for the amount of guests that are listed. AND when they miss the count they always bring it to us as it is their mistake and not the customers. So far I’m not satisfied with the customer service and hope check out at 12 tomorrow changes things.
- 5/5
Everything went well.
- 3/5
The room was clean
- 5/5
The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Only thing I didn't like was the staff in the breakfast area. The man was super rude and snatch a cup of batter out of my hand and told me I was using to much when in reality it didn't even make a whole waffle.
- 1/5
Our Locked truck was broken into, and had 3 plus bags of luggage stolen!
- 5/5
The hotel was nice and clean and the area had multiple dinning locations near by.
- 5/5
Nicole was amazing at helping many guests who were checking in. She was so friendly and helpful! The only issue we had was that the beds are kind of old and a little too squishy.
- 5/5
Due to the location I had several resources at my disposal from food to entertainment.
- 3/5
No WiFi in my room. The staff said he reported to the manager and the manager would have it fixed tomorrow. However, there’s nobody contact with me about this issue and there’s no WiFi in my room during my stay.
- 2/5
Unfortunately we had a terrible experience at the hotel. I reserved 2 suit rooms they put us in a normal and suit so I had them move us so we ended up on 2 different floors. Most of the room was not cleaned properly. I was highly unsatisfied and will never be going back to this hotel.
- 5/5
Everything was very nice, but I did have to pay for parking at the hotel.
- 2/5
Room was only serviced once during my seven day stay. Ran out of towels and toilet paper. Also, the keys to my room didn’t work five days out of the seven I stayed . Not the best experience.
- 5/5
Here pleasant staff team
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast included a variety of options. The beds were very comfortable.
- 4/5
Good supply of bath and hand towels.
- 5/5
Just a bit expensive
- 4/5
Good stay for area based on price
- 5/5
Quiet
- 5/5
Nice place
- 4/5
It was in a really good area the only thing that we had an issue with was the room would get very hot and the A/C wasn’t really cooling down the room
- 3/5
Property needs to be remodeled as the cost is high. Interior finishes are tattered and very worn.
- 5/5
2 night stay with my wedding party ! Got the big room! Simply amazing, staff very friendly, accommodating, welcoming! A overall amazing experience
- 5/5
Lots of dining options. Close to I5
- 5/5
The only thing is there’s no one cleaned our room on our 2 day business stay but it was a great stay overall. Receptionists when we checked in were very friendly.
- 4/5
Breakfast was great !!! Easy access to highways super close to gas station and restaurants…Pool was fun and the room was awesome very spacious !!! Would definitely stay again !!! 👍
- 5/5
The Aria is that very good 👍
- 3/5
Good
- 5/5
Its fine
- 3/5
I don't like the front desk staff. They are not family-friendly.
- 4/5
Only complain’t was when I booked the property it was free parking when I arrived I was told you have to pay $12/day for parking. I was very disappointed
- 5/5
Please be careful when loading your car ppl love to take advantage and will try and steal your car if you dont leave someone with it when you check in and out. Staff called the cops unfortunately thr bad guys stalked us and almost stole our car it was very scary. staff were fast acting and helpful though thank goodness!
- 5/5
Very clean
- 4/5
The breakfast was full of options and there was plenty of food for all the guests. The dining area was not packed at 9am which was nice. There was a bit of noise from I-5 traffic but that was expected since you're right off the freeway. There is several options for food in the area. We would return if needing the stay in the area again.
- 3/5
During breakfast there a man who is a bit rude.
- 1/5
Nothin
- 2/5
This hotel was very noisy upstairs and outside. We could hardly sleep. The bath tub did not drain and mold in the shower. They had overflowing garbage in the breakfast area. There were no towels in the pool area and the front desk would not answer the phone.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
It was a very enjoyable stay.
- 5/5
The room was big enough to fit my family of five.
- 5/5
Charging for parking. Not good for guests
- 4/5
All good.
- 5/5
I like it
- 4/5
Close to what we needed. I would stay again,
- 1/5
I understand the hotel does nothing or offers nothing to keep the property safe
- 5/5
Wonderful stay; clean and welcoming
- 5/5
IT IS VERY QUIET AND CONVENIENT
- 5/5
The breakfast was good.
- 3/5
Very loud when room is on highway side. Lots of cars racing at night.
- 5/5
Clean and nice rooms, really good breakfast, pleasant people.
- 5/5
It was quiet peaceful my daughter enjoyed the pool and hot tub
- 3/5
The room was updated, but needed to be vacuumed. There were crumbs on the couch, crumbs on the carpet and the side table needed to be wiped down. The first day, housekeeping didn’t come to my room to pick up trash or anything. The second day, my trash was overflowing. Before I left for the day, I left the trash can outside of my room. When I came back that night, housekeeping had been to my room. They emptied the trash can left outside the room, but didn’t place the trash can back inside of the room. That didn’t make sense to me. I liked that coffee and tea was provided all day and night.
- 4/5
Close to I5. Easy to get to. 20 minutes from airport.
- 5/5
Staff members are very helpful and friendly. It is unfortunate that the room we stayed at is a bit noisy. But the front desk staff was nice enough to help us switch room for our third night. It is very nice of the front desk to help us coordinate breakfast grab-and-go bags. Thank you for all your help. Jennyrose is very nice and helpful. Many thanks to her.
- 2/5
No free parking available
- 5/5
Good visit
- 3/5
Wethey charge you $12.00 a day for parking. The thermostat only allows you to cool the room to 58 degrees and would quickly rise to 72 before it would kick back on. The room became hot and stuff, making it difficult to sleep. In the morning, the coffee warm at best.
- 5/5
One of the best Hotels in the Area Always a great Stay here 10/10
- 5/5
Stayed in room 206 in today and the bathroom flushed every 10minutes. Cannot sleep
- 4/5
Decent property but a bit old, could use some updating.
- 4/5
I have always really liked and depended on Hampton Inns when I travel. They are very comfortable, clean and have great breakfasts. However, I was VERY disappointed to be charged $12 to park my car overnight! That has always been complimentary and still should be. Unfortunately, I will likely stay somewhere else with no parking charges on my next trip.
- 3/5
Shower doors falling off. No toilet paper roll. Fee of $12 per day for parking at a motel? No way.
- 3/5
Shower doors almost fell off. Toilet paper holder missing from the wall. Cheap waxy toilet paper. No maid service for 3 days. Not nearly enough convenient electric wall plugs.
- 4/5
Convenient location, just off the I5. Close to shopping.
- 5/5
Always a great time staying there!
- 5/5
But this hotels staffs made over 100%
- 4/5
Clean quiet location,
- 3/5
Nice bed and work desk. Quiet. Breakfast was terrible.
- 5/5
Awesome staff!
- 5/5
This property is well located . The girl who checked us in was friendly and was able to give us dinner options.
- 5/5
Stay at this hotel every year at least three times. Always good, friendly staff and very clean. Will come back for sure.
- 4/5
Good enough for us since it was a quick stop.
- 4/5
Based off the negative reviews I was terrified to stay at the hotel. But surprisingly everything was good, cleanliness and very good tasty food. Only one big minus $13 parking fee and they don’t have any information on their website about the fee and if someone will brake into your car no one is responsible. Never in my life I had to pay that much for the parking for one night.
- 4/5
Perfect road trip spot right off the highway. The location means it’s loud and I wouldn’t leave anything in your car, but the hotel is clean and well kept, and the included breakfast is great. Also it’s very dog friendly.
- 5/5
Excellent staff
- 5/5
Hwy traffic very loud
- 4/5
It is close to shopping and so easy to get to from the freeway.
- 3/5
The hotel is decent and clean. The lobby is modern and lots of updates to the building. Staff is friendly and polite. My problem was mainly with them promising free wifi through Expedia but when you get there free wifi is only conditional if you sign up to their club and give permission to Hilton to share, sell and distribute your personal info. That to me is deceptive and definitely not free wifi. We would’ve picked a different hotel had we known about this as there are a lot of other ones in the area.
- 5/5
.
- 2/5
My last night, the lady was very polite and helpful. Morning staff was ok.
- 5/5
U
- 4/5
Nice, right off the freeway. Plenty of restaurants and shopping near by. Property clean, good breakfast, pool area nice except for broken rusted drinking fountain. Rooms were nice but took awhile for shower to get hot and corridors were ice cold. Front office staff was professional but not very welcoming.
- 5/5
It was wonderful to receive warm greetings from the lobby staffs both check ins and check out.
- 4/5
I stayed at this hotel Less Than 3 weeks ago and it was pretty good so that's why I decided to come back for Christmas Eve and celebrate my birthday, when I checked in I was hit with an unexpected charge that was not either on their website or through hotels.com. the extra charge was $8 a night for parking. I don't mind paying for parking if that's what it requires, but what was so upsetting is that it was a hidden charge that was not known about until I checked in
