The Craftsman Inn is a well-maintained property with friendly and accommodating staff. Guests appreciate the clean and comfortable rooms, convenient location, and attached restaurant. However, some guests have complained about thin walls, noise from neighboring rooms or the restaurant, and a lackluster breakfast.

Clean and very pretty. Friendly staff. Pet friendly.

Wonderful stay!
- 4/5
The room was clean but the a/c really noisy. Luckily no A/C was needed.
- 5/5
Kimberly, who checked us in at the desk was very kind, efficient, and helpful. I mentioned wanting to eat at the restaurant and she gave me an excellent recommendation of her favorite offering and also showed us a shortcut to the restaurant from our room. The room was comfortable. I again noticed the huge, fluffy bath towels and the excellent toiletry sipplues, which smell so good. This is the best hotel value ever, I think.

Superb
- 5/5
Clean room, great suite amenities, even a dishwasher! Loved our weekend stay!
- 5/5
We stayed here on a trip back from New England. It was clean, convenient, and a step up from a typical chain hotel. Our dinner meal next door at the tavern was excellent. A little noisy due to a wedding going on. Would stay again.
- 4/5
We had a nice stay, room was clean and fit our needs. Conveniently located in Fayetteville near restaurants and shops. Last visit we stayed on Carrier Circle, this was much better. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
The look and feel of the property made it feel like home. The restaurant next door was great with amazing food and drinks. Staff was top notch
- 1/5
After returning home, we called and left several messages, but heard from no one. Several staff members kept saying that’s their protocol. Leaving the door opened once they finished cleaning for inspection. I can understand if the guest has checked out for the day. But when you have guess like us who are staying several days, that protocol is a terrible one. There has to be changes made to make sure your guests don’t feel violated we would never come back to this hotel.
- 5/5
Small town charm!
- 4.5/5
Nice, quiet, comfy centrally located. Free breakfast is a bonus. Modest but useful fitness room
- 1/5
The room smelled like sewage from the shower curtain and drain. There were cracks and holes in the dry wall. We have stayed here so many times and this was the most expensive and worst experiences at the craftsman’s after all of these years.
- 4/5
Our one-night stay was pleasant and pretty much what we wanted and expected. The room and the facilities overall were clean. The bed was comfortable. The bath was clean and the plumbing all worked as it should. The floor squeaked a bit. Breakfast was the typical hotel fare - self served cereal and bagels and fruit and such. I would stay there again if traveling through the area.
- 3.5/5
Good, close to the areas of what we were there for. Rooms are small .
- 5/5
Always very clean and quiet. Friendly staff always :)

Great stay!
- 4.5/5
Hotel is very nice, rooms are spacious and modern, very clean, big TV screen, staff is very courteous, the lady that takes care of breakfast is very attentive and goes above and beyond to serve and help guests. Very conveniently located, has a nice restaurant plus you have a large strip mall in front (supermarket, food, clothing and different stores). 5 minutes or so from Green Lakes state park, the best combo of nature and urban setting. I wish rooms had a microwave, The small fridge was nice, not sure if it was defective or not very potent. At that value I feel microwaves should be available in rooms. Not a deal breaker considering other factors like a very decent breakfast and nice facility.

Staff was kind and breakfast is good
- 5/5
The evening staff was not super friendly, morning staff was fine. Air was set to 78 when we got there. Took hours to cool off. The water wasn’t very hot.

We stayed here for just one night as we were traveling to a further destination, We had a first floor King room. Basic accommodation with tv, one desk chair and one comfortable chair. Decent complimentary breakfast. Easy to walk next door to the restaurant, although it would be pricy for those on a budget. Easy to park and a nice stop on our way. We did not check out any other things in the area due to our travel plans.

breakfast was great

They after a full hot breakfast in a lovely dining setting. Staff are great!
- 3.5/5
Great location. Friendly staff. Modern updated bathrooms. Major let down at the Craftsman Steakhouse. Which was one of the reasons for selecting hotel. 4/4 plates came out with raw steaks that should have been medium. Restaurant seriously dropped the ball. We were forced to find another restaurant on zero notice with limited time left in the evening. Really compromised the experience on a weekend we were mourning the loss of my mother. Probably wouldn’t return based on that experience alone.

Great price for quality on par with the best chains!
- 5/5
I visited this weekend past for a wedding with my sister and husband. My sister in law recommended this hotel. I have no complaints as Melody checked on me daily via text. JANICE took care of me each morning for breakfast with a smile and grace. She is a true Queen with a warm positive vibe. I really enjoyed meeting her... I miss you Ms. Janice! Thank you again for everything! And Isaac helped me check out smoothly and quickly. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. It was relaxing and the only thing bad I can say is our floor didnt have the ice machine working.... we went to the main floor no biggie... needed the exercise anyway. The bon fire at the grill spot was so cozy. The ppl were very nice and friendly. The TVs had all the sports games for the playoffs etc. I definitely will return when I visit Syracuse again. Thanks for a great stay. God bless you all!
- 5/5
She was impeccable in her appearance and stance. She was approachable and friendly. She took care of us like a professional. We enjoyed being served by her and having conversation. Excellent job Janice!
- 3.5/5
Check in staff friendly. Evening staff "Andrew" was awesome. We had a toilet seat full of poop and he immediately came to the suite to clean the toilet, no questions asked. We expect cleaning staff to clean, especially under the toilet seat. The breakfast was nothing to brag about. Same as a Red Rood Inn or any lower cost hotel.

Nice stay overall — clean room, and friendly staff. Breakfast could’ve been a bit better and rooms need a little renovation, but otherwise a wonderful experience.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and courteous. And the room was clean and comfortable. We did not take advantage of the restaurant this was a but we plan to the next time we go. There are lots of stores and restaurants in the area, and it's only a few minutes drive from Green lakes State Park which is beautiful!
- 5/5
Breakfast was amazing.
- 3/5
Nice room, but housekeeping knocked and immediately entered my room at least 3 hours prior to checkout, which was a bit invasive. The only shower I had there was freezing cold, as they said they were having some plumbing issue. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.
- 4/5
Rooms were great bed was comfortable the location and ambience was perfect , brkfast could have been better
- 5/5
Room was great conditon. It was quiet and beds comfortable. We had a great stay.
- 5/5
An absolute gem! From the inviting design to the comfort of the room this property is a refreshing change from the big chain hotels. Surrounded by convenient amenities you have everything for a more than wonderful stay.
- 5/5
I had no complaints and would stay there again.
- 5/5
The Craftsman was very clean and had a cozy vibe. The staff was friendly and efficient. I had no complaints and would stay there again.
- 1/5
They were not helpful at all. They created a horrible travel experience for me
- 4/5
Nice place. Little tired but nice. The restaurant was great.
- 3/5
Room was clean but property smells and feels like an old property. Breakfast personnel not too prepared for the job. Lots of people upset for waiting 15+ min for coffee pot to be refilled. Not much variety either. Room prices way too high for the hotel quality.
- 4/5
Breakfast was good. Don't be on the first floor as room above can be very noisy.
- 5/5
Always a nice, comfortable stay at The Craftsman.
- 1.5/5
The restaurant is great but...
- 1.5/5
The restaurant is great but the hotel/inn is far from ideal to stay in.
- 4/5
Rooms were nice and clean. Great location as it’s across the street from a shopping complex. There were plenty of food options as well.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, great breakfast, comfy clean room
- 5/5
Room was clean, hotel was quiet.
- 4/5
Location- within 15 minutes of Syracuse University campus. Shopping and restaurant options just across the street. Green lakes was very close as well.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 5/5
My husband & I were very happy & pleased with our stay, I will definitely book again in the near future :)
- 5/5
Excellent all around
- 5/5
2nd time staying there highly recommend
- 5/5
Honestly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was great!
- 5/5
Cozy
- 4/5
Awesome bar next door try it out. Great fireplaces
- 5/5
The Craftsman is a very unique hotel. My family has chosen to stay there on 3 different occasions since February. The front desk staff is very helpful and Janet, the breakfast coordinator, was especially kind and thoughtful.
- 5/5
My favorite inn near Syracuse univ
- 5/5
We stayed one night during our travels. We got upgraded to a suite which I don’t know why. But it had 2 rooms with kitchen. The Craftsman Restaurant was attached to our building so didn’t walk far. Food was awesome. The bed couldn’t been softer but it was a great stay.
- 4/5
It was just very loud. All else was fine.
- 5/5
Beautiful design, great affiliated restaurant next door.
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful.
- 4/5
Nice place to stay. Only issue we had was parking was limited and handicapped parking is very limited.
- 5/5
The breakfast was good and the location and condition of the hotel was excellent. Given the options are on the Thruway or Carrier Circle, this is a a much better choice.
- 5/5
The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Our favorite part is enjoying a delicious and satisfying steak at the restaurant, then being able to walk to the room. It's just perfect!
- 5/5
Amazing stay here. We booked this hotel on a Monday during a road trip and stayed at a Hilton the following night in another city (which was horrible) . On our way back we were looking for other hotels to book and we were so paranoid about risking and staying at another crap hole we decided to go back to the Crafts man. Friendly staff, clean room and property. It was a no brainer. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Great location. Clean room. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Large room/suite was lovely but lighting was a bit dim. Still, a favorite place to stay while in the Syracuse area. Nice breakfast too.
- 5/5
Clean room, updated. Hallways are old school. All staff we encountered were great and friendly!
- 5/5
Endroit exceptionnel. Très typique comme endroit. Cuisine excellente (déjeuner).
- 4/5
In town for a college tour, room was nice and hotel was cozy. Would stay again!
- 5/5
We loved this little hotel, which is full of craftsman style. Also the staff could not have been more accommodating. We kind of wanted to lengthen our stay at the last minute then changed our minds when strategy didn’t work out as we planned. Win and Jennah could not have been more patient, kind, or accommodating. Would stay again in a heartbeat!!! Great breakfast, with excellent breakfast sandwiches, my favorite waffles, and more. This was the best hotel value I have experienced in like a decade or more. 6 out of 5 stars!🤩⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- 5/5
I would have loved a hot tub.
- 4/5
Sound insolation isn’t great so you hear hallways, neighbours and outside pedestrians very easily. Room is comfortable.
- 5/5
Staff was accommodating, room was as clean and comfortable.

Nice clean room. Good water pressure in the shower. Great breakfast options included
- 5/5
We were exhausted. The room was comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant was perfect for us. Breakfast was good also.
- 4/5
Other than that, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was well equipped with everything we needed.
- 5/5
Accommodations and staff are always a 10+!!!!!!!
- 3/5
Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was typical and mediocre, but free. Lobby area small and cramped- not cozy. Fridge in room didn't work. Clean enough, but not very clean. Maneuvering in and out with any amount of luggage was challenging given the unshoveled ramps, tiny carts and only one small elevator off the lobby. Best part was convenience to local shopping.
- 5/5
The property also has a wonderful restaurant on site plus access to a variety of stores in the immediate area. While we live within 50 miles of the Inn, I’m already thinking of reasons to return for another stay!
- 5/5
Great hotel and restaurant.
- 5/5
Awesome place to stay
- 5/5
Nice place!! Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay
- 5/5
I loved, LOVED the Craftsman Inn. It was clean and the service was great. I went there with my parents and sister and stopped for the night. The food was good and the rooms were great. Will go again!
- 5/5
Phenomenal 💯
- 3/5
I was yelled at by a woman in food service. It wasn’t even 10am and she said we’re closing and don’t eat. I was just getting coffee. She was so rude. I’ll never go there again and I sent a lot of people to that hotel. Get rid of that animal!
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Always a great experience at the Craftsman!
- 4/5
Staff was very nice and easy to talk to. Overall ambiance of the hotel was quiet. Would stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful

My room was cozy and comfortable. I enjoyed breakfast and the fireplace. The restaurant had good food.

The staff and the room were great. Stopped and had dinner at the restaurant and the food was outstanding.

- 5/5
o.k. breakfast

Wonderful hotel. Everyone was so attentive and caring. Spent 8 days at Christmas and had a perfect experience. Melody was amazing and took care of our every need. Would stay here again for sure. Great hotel

Yes
- 5/5
Room was spotless and staff was courteous.
- 4/5
Shower mold by track of glass doors.
- 5/5
What a crafty little hotel. The bar and restaurant across the Parkin lot kick butt
- 5/5
Close to restaurants and excellent amenities with large rooms ten minutes from Syracuse University
- 4/5
Very good.
- 5/5
Very clean and comfy rooms, hospitable staff, and a good selection for a quick breakfast. I always look forward to staying at The Craftsman Inn!
- 4/5
Everything is as it should be. Clean and comfortable. Good mattress and bedding. Breakfast is standout. Breakfast staff are the best.
- 5/5
Everything is always lovely there.
- 3/5
Everything was good except the breakfast got no eggs and sausage or bacons, and the waffle tasted weird…
- 3/5
Run down
- 5/5
Breakfast was do-so, not a large variety. Same thing every day. Burritos were dry and nothing to put on them such as cheese or salsa. Moises having scrambled eggs or something hot. I did enjoy the hot chocolate bar
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
I would recommend it.
- 5/5
There’s was some foot noise above my room.
- 5/5
The restaurant next door is great for dinner. I would not stay for “breakfast”, there’s no real food like eggs or anything. Just a basic continental offering.
- 5/5
Clean & quiet with friendly staff.
- 5/5
I love this hotel and have stayed here several times before. On this particular visit, I unfortunately had some very loud neighbors who would not reduce the volume of their music and TV. They continued late into the night. I had an early flight and was not able to sleep. I felt I had no recourse after the hotel employee asked them to quiet down. Other than this experience, my stays at this hotel have all been excellent.
- 3/5
Breakfast service was ok. Very disturbing that open items did not have serving utensils. People grabbing hard boiled eggs out with bare hands and yogurt and oatmeal toppings were bring your own spoon. Hate to think about that one. Check out was interesting with grouchy attendant almost yelling at me that he cannot provide receipt. Overall meh…
- 5/5
It was very comfortable, with a friendly staff.
- 5/5
Hotel was a little different from your standard cookie cutter hotels which was great and the attached restaurant was fantastic.
- 5/5
The staff was courteous and helpful..the restaurant very nice..and..most important! I slept well
- 5/5
Very welcoming . Restaurant food and service there were great. Not far from walking trails. Morning coffee was good. Will return if in area .
- 5/5
Great place. Great restaurant
- 5/5
Staff always greets us as if we are old friends. Always feels like we are staying in a comfortable place.
- 5/5
Great room, great staff!!!
- 5/5
Excellent overall experience
- 5/5
Everything stood out to me it was a great stay staff was amazing
- 3/5
Convenient location. Restaurant is nice. Had the king suite which was a nice room. Unfortunately had no hot water 2 days in a row for showers. No compensation. Over $500 stay and no hot water. Wasn’t happy.
- 5/5
It was great
- 5/5
Breakfast options were all high fat, low protein options Coffee was hot but very weak side entrance very difficult to maneuvere through with luggage cart Parking lot was very difficult to find a space in the evening on return to the hotel
- 5/5
Very enjoyable stay
- 5/5
Great staff
- 1/5
Staff incompetency and nefariou

- 5/5
Affordable, beautiful accommodation!
- 5/5
Perfect!
- 5/5
This hotel is great! The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and restaurant is amazing!
- 5/5
This is a wonderful place to stay in Syracuse. The inn has a cozy, charming feel and all the essentials, with a lovely touch of tradition. The restaurant is excellent, the bar is inviting, and the beds are genuinely comfortable. What stood out most was the people: friendly, present, and quick to help. Things aren’t always perfect anywhere, but here you always know who to talk to—and they actually resolve it. That’s a world apart from the typical chain hotel, where an ‘issue’ often turns into a stressful guessing game about who’s responsible. I'll definitely stay here on my next trip upstate NY.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
Love this hotel. It’s nice and quaint with a great little restaurant connected.

We
- 3/5
The room was average - could use a refresh. The paint is peeling off the bathroom walls, shower leaks, hallway carpets are dingy. The room was clean and the temperature was perfect. The gal who worked at the front desk overnight (she was there around 6am and gone by the time we checked in that evening) is incredibly rude and unprofessional. We arrived earlier than expected and came in to see if we could possibly pay for an additional night so that we could check in early around 6am. She was sitting outside in the rocking chairs instead of being present in the hotel. She never said hello or welcomed us in any way. She simply said how can I help you in the most uninviting way possible. As I explained that we wanted to pay the extra night so we could check in early, she cut me off and said you’ll have to pay for an extra night - we don’t do early checkins. I said I understand that - that is exactly what I’m asking to do. Then she informed me that we could not do that because there were no rooms with two queen beds available. That part is obviously not her fault or so we thought. We left and came back that evening around 5pm. We found out that there were in fact plenty of rooms available 12 hours ago, but at that point it didn’t really matter.
- 5/5
We enjoyed the location. Room was clean. Restaurant was too full for us to try but there are plenty nearby. We stayed one night with our dog and staff was very friendly and accommodating.
- 5/5
This is my favorite place to stay in Syracuse.
- 5/5
This is a lovely hotel very well maintained, and the staff was very professional. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.
- 4/5
This cute little hotel looks like it’s right out of a hallmark movie. The staff were excellent. The restaurant was delicious. We will be back!
- 4/5
Room was clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was very comfortable.
- 5/5
No points taken off for the aged carpet bc bathroom was mold free and clean. The restaurant on the property is so fabulous. The staff and food are top notch.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay with good service and a great restaurant/bar next door. Breakfast was okay, but there are also other options nearby (like Starbucks.) Would stay again.
- 4/5
Great stay, great location and very convenient. Close to state parks, shopping, dining.
- 5/5
We were very happy with our stay here. Oddly enough, the halls remind me of the wilderness lodge at Disney. Overall great stay. The restaurant next door is amazing. One of the best meals of our trip. They have a nice gym as well.
- 5/5
Friendly front desk
- 4/5
Very good option in Fayetteville, with plenty of food options within walking distance.
- 5/5
Satisfactory
- 5/5
Every one was great
- 5/5
The laundry stup was excellent.,
- 5/5
Good location and kind staff
- 5/5
It was lovely!
- 5/5
The restaurant was excellent just a bit in the side. The hotel was top notch.
- 5/5
It’s a lovely environment with great service.
- 3/5
The water filter in the fitness center was broken along with the ice machine in the main building. I came 20 minutes before check-in and they made me wait until it was the exact time to check in. All in all pretty subpar accommodation that is starting to age. I’m wondering if maybe they are up for sale and that’s why they’re not spending money on updating or fixing things.
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
I didnt receive my VIP award. Hotel nice, rooms not very sound proof. Modern design bathroom.
- 5/5
The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. The property is nice. Walkable to the restaurant. The weather was decent so lots of people sitting outside near the fireplace. It looks very cozy and comfortable. I did not eat at the restaurant, so I can’t comment on the food or drinks. The vibe was nice as a passer by.
- 4/5
Excellent customer service. Convenient location. I would definitely recommend!
- 3/5
The room was clean though there was a spot in the bathroom by the corner of the shower that was crumbling and looked like there could be some mold. There was no body wash in the shower and there was a strange squeaky sound that kept me up. There was a TV remote that neither myself or the lovely receptionist could figure out how to work, so she got me a normal one. The WIFI was down but that wasn't the hotel's fault. Otherwise, it was OK. We ate at the restaurant, which also was just OK. I had fish and chips and the tartar sauce had dill in it which was almost inedible.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing, the room could have been cleaned a bit better (pubic hair in the shower and on the toilet, crumbs on the nightstand and the floor by the night stand). The bed was so uncomfortable that I tossed and turned all night and woke up with sore hips. Breakfast was good, they had a variety of cereals, bagels and pastries, hot waffles and Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches.
- 5/5
All was great
- 5/5
Very friendly, clean. Excellent restaurant next door.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable. The staff at check in was very helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Clean room, very comfortable beds and pillows ((both soft and firm), lovely cotton blankets and comfortable heating
- 5/5
We asked for accountability and our room was well designed for accessibility and still being attractive.
- 4/5
A great location for parents weekend at SU. The restaurant and shopping center were very convenient. The hotel staff were extremely friendly. The room was not cleaned during our stay though we were given fresh towels.
- 5/5
Staff was great, room was very comfortable
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. When we arrived we were surprised with a free upgrade. There is a restaurant attached that sounded amazing but we missed the opening hours. Would 100% stay there again.
- 5/5
Super clean, good shower, comfortable pillows and bed.
- 4/5
Excellent restaurant within the property.
- 4/5
This property looks very nice from the outside, but it is extremely crowded, very noisy, and the rooms are actually quite dated, especially for the price. Parking can also be a challenge. It is good enough for a short stay, but the hotel is not luxury enough to spend $400+ per night.
- 5/5
Clean room, excellent staff, breakfast and staff excellent. Restaurant beside was awesome. Would definitely recommend staying
- 5/5
In a busy area, but well thought out for entry, exit and parking. Very accommodating.
- 4/5
Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable, & modern. The morning breakfast was great. Price was reasonable. Parking was tight but that was because they wear black topping their back parking lot. Great place.
- 5/5
The inn exceeded expectations with its pristine cleanliness and welcoming comfort. I enjoyed one of the best nights of rest I’ve had in a long time and immediately felt at home. The on-site restaurant was equally impressive, offering exceptional cuisine that elevated the entire stay. Truly an excellent experience from start to finish.
- 5/5
Had to stop off for the night and arrived late. Easy check in and safe parking. Clean, well decorated room, cozy bed, clean updated bathroom. Worked from the lobby the next AM. Nice, small complimentary breakfast. Walls were a little thin so I could hear my neighbors, but it wasn't too bad. Would stay again!
- 5/5
Staff is the best.
- 5/5
Room was very comfortable and nice. Parking very available. Breakfast was a little limited
- 5/5
We loved this place! The restaurant was great too. Very comfortable bed and nice pillows. We would stay here again!
- 5/5

The Craftsman Inn & Suites was AWESOME! Beautiful building, great lobby and service people, the room was clean and spacious, and the bed incredibly comfortable
- 5/5
Good service
- 5/5
It was clean and very enjoyable
- 5/5
In town for the New York State Fair. Close by with a great restaurant.
- 5/5
Great! Rooms very clean, well-appointed and had an excellent meal at the restaurant.
- 2/5
Nice as we expected for the price we paid
- 5/5
Our room was in the main building. No issues or concerns. It was clean, bed and pillows were comfy. Curtains blocked the light well for sleep. Breakfast had a lot of options and it was easy to get a seat and items were refilled quickly. We did have dinner one night at the connected restaurant and it was delicious. This was a great central spot to explore NYS parks in the area: Green Lakes, Tinker Falls, and Labrador Hollow. This was our 3rd or 4th stay at this spot. 😁

As always the room was very clean and comfortable. Only complaint for the whole stay was breakfast was terrible and the lady in charge of it was not very nice.

Great place to stay. Well appointed room and stylish bathroom. Walked over to the bar and had a nice glass of wine and enjoyed the fire pit. Friendly people.
- 5/5
Beautiful, updated rooms with convenient location to Syracuse. Great breakfast options. Kind, attentive staff. Would highly recommend.

The hotel was great. Conveniently located, close to shopping/restaurants. The room was great. Very spacious.
- 5/5
Very clean, updated, thoughtfully designed. Staff extremely courteous. Well situated.

I spent a little extra for this hotel when I was going to the State Fair to get someplace nice. The big turn off was how dirty the room was. Floor appeared not to have been vacuumed and there was hair in the shower.(Don’t want to elaborate on the type of hair).
- 5/5
It's welcoming and cozy from the moment you step into the lobby. The furniture, the fireplace and even the outside rocking chairs welcome you.

V cool

The place is very clean, well maintained and the beds were comfy! We would stay again!
- 5/5
It’s a very cute hotel I like it. I would stay here again. It was nice.
- 5/5
Lady at breakfast wasnt very friendly
- 3/5
The breakfast was a huge disappointment with mostly unhealthy, sweetened pastries and cereals other than bananas and oranges. There were no scrambled eggs, but cold ,hard boiled eggs in the fridge. If you are looking for a healthy breakfast, unfortunately you won’t find it here. The craftsman Inn is ok for one night to pass through the city, but not for long stays.
- 4/5
Very convenient and clean. Breakfast in the morning is a bonus. At times, the front desk was unstaffed. Although there was a note left behind it seemed strange for a hotel
- 4/5
The one thing I believe they can improve upon is the breakfast selection and the coffee selection. I will have preferred more upscale options.
- 4/5
Great stay. Nice front desk people
- 5/5
I felt safe since I was alone. Staff very friendly and I love the breakfast! The only thing I would say to improve is my room was not cleaned once. I stayed 3 nights. Other than that I loved it!
- 5/5
The room was clean and everything was perfect! Loved the sliding doors to separate bedroom from living area.
- 3/5
The hotel is extremely run down, the rooms need an extremely makeover. Dont go off the pictures, they are not what the hotel is
- 5/5
Friend recommended and very happy we chose for our trip. Plan to return on future trips to area
- 5/5
I will recommend this hotel
- 5/5
Their craftsman-style decor is fun and attractive, and the staff is very helpful. After a small glitch with our room booking was discovered, we were upgraded to a lovely suite! We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely plan to stay at The Craftsman again next time we are in the area.

The WiFi does not work at this hotel at all. Went to desk and they said it must be your phones. Um no, everyone in our party had zero WiFi service. (And the region has terrible cell service.) Also we couldn’t get them to clean our room or give fresh towels! We asked twice AND left tag off our door for 3 1/2 days. No cleaning at all or towels despite us asking. There’s not enough parking. You can’t use the entrance due to construction. And poor signage telling you where to go to the side. It’s just not even an average level hotel, let alone a high end one worth so much money each night.

Great location! Pretty modern and Very clean!
- 4/5
The decor is nice, beds are comfortable. The room is mostly clean. however what holds me back to give 10 out of 10 is the shower stall has a bit of mold at the bottom and they could use a better more function and adjustable shower head. Overall I highly recommend this Hotel and will come back again.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and nice bar/restaurant
- 4/5
The room was spacious and comfortable, everything was clean and well kept. However, the front entrance of the hotel was under construction and there was inadequate signage about how to actually enter the hotel. I had to walk around in the dark for several minutes before finally asking another guest in the parking lot how to find the entrance. They directed me to a side entrance with a tiny sign, that I never would have noticed on my own. Also, breakfast options were limited and disappointing, and the breaksfast area was not well staffed - one morning they ran out of coffee and there was no one around to re-fill it, another morning there were no napkins and again no one to ask for more. Finally, I was not offered the VIP benefits I was entitled to.

Craftsmen Hotel is quaint, comfortable and overall great stay! Staff were friendly and very helpful. Loved my stay!
- 4/5
The room was nice. The resturant was very nice. Breakfast was ok. They offered coffee, juices, yogurt, bagels, pastries, cereal from a dispenser that didn't look very appetizing and fruit. And a waffle maker. The location was nice there is a shopping plaza right across the steet with a grocery store, resturants and other stores. Not far from different state parks and things to do. We enjoyed our stay. Would recommend and stay again.

We had dinner at the hotels restaurant - it’s a first class steakhouse with terrific food and attentive service. We’ve eaten there many times and it’s always good. It’s great to just stay at the hotel so we could enjoy an extra glass of wine with desert!

Front desk staff was very helpful. Room was super comfortable and clean. Love the mosaic tiled bathroom. Great bar - perfect dry dirty Martini. Breakfast was meh, but lots of places for that close by if you need something more than continental basic.

Had a great time and really close to all the places Syracuse offers. Rooms are very clean and staff is very friendly.
- 5/5
Staff was excellent. Checked in by text to make sure our needs were met.

The hotel was clean, well maintained, and well located. The room was spacious and well appointed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The only (very minor) complaint I had was that there were no scrambled eggs at the breakfast buffet (they did have egg sandwiches), and there was only one meat option. But what they had was definitely more than adequate. I really liked the Craftsman and will definitely stay there again on trips to the Syracuse area.

Craftsman style design, and the Grille was excellent for dinner.

The Craftsman was a great place. It was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful hotel in the Craftsman style. It feels luxurious surrounded by all the trimmings to really pull off the style and they did it. Very comfortable hotel. Great restaurant with amazing staff. Nice outdoor bar with a firepit. Good breakfast to get you going in the morning. Highly recommend

Nice hotel and close to where we were headed

Great place for a short stay!

Stayed for an event nearby. Check in was a breeze, recieved coupon for restaurant next door which we unfortunately didn't get to use (only open 4pm-10pm and we had our event to get to). Room very quiet despite quite a few quests that night as indicated by breakfast next morning. TV was a little difficult to work, controller may have been low on battery. Only other negative was no hot eggs at breakfast; had Jimmy Dean sandwiches to microwave, but all on bagels (doesn't work for diabetic) or pre-made hard boiled. Lots of pastry, bagels, cereal, waffles. I ended up with yogurt. Powdered scrambled eggs and some brown and serve sausage would be an upgrade, especially for guests traveling 4+ hours to go home.
- 5/5
It was very unique and well decorated

We've stayed as a family at the Craftsman Inn multiple times and continue to return for good reasons - the hotel is wonderful to stay at: friendly and professional staff, nice accommodations, comfortable beds, walkable area (restaurants, coffee, shopping), and not too far off the highway. Breakfast is simple, but includes usual waffle and cereal options, and has some gluten free / dairy free options. EV charging is in the back (looks like a simple Type 1, didn't use on this occasion but 4x spots were open). Highly recommend for those staying around Syracuse or just passing through.

Wonderful stay the peace !
