Residence Inn by Marriott Fayetteville Cross Creek

The staff was polite, professional, and very welcoming from the moment I arrived. The check-in process was quick and smooth, making for a stress-free start to my stay. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and appreciated the excellent customer service. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to others.

Love the location and accommodations. I stop here when I travel I95 from MA to the South. It’s about 10-15 mins away from highway. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. I’m able to bring my pup with me. Next door to restaurants and close to stores. Wonderful beds!!!! Rooms and bathrooms have always been neat and clean, except for our last visit. There was visible dirt, and hair on the soap dish under the sealed bar soap. Otherwise, just normal wear and tear.

No one ever seems to be able to WORK Outdoor Heater, Firepits, Grills.

The room was better than I expected. The room was clean; along with the pool area and gym. The hotel location, was very convenient. My family and I were very pleased.

Booked two, 2 bedroom suites for my daughter sleepover. I requested early check in @1pm but only one of the rooms were available. The other one wasn’t ready until after 4pm. Outside of that little mishap the rooms were fantastic! The girls loved the pool and I loved how close and clean the rooms were! We now have a home away from home!!!

Clean room, staff is wonderful

on xmas day I didn't get to go downstairs for breakfast until 9:10 am.. when I got there all the silver containers (hot food) were empty. very disappointing for Christmas morning, I had expected better.

We had a great stay at the Residence Inn and I highly recommend it! The rooms are spacious with a king-size bed and a sleeper sofa. It also has a small kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator and dishwasher. We had everything we needed! The staff was very courteous and everything was clean all throughout the hotel. The grandkids thoroughly enjoyed the indoor pool. One of the best hotel stays we have ever had!

Was was very clean and spacious. It said two fulls but actually one was almost at king I think, at least a queen. The pool was also very nice and clean, with a hot tub. Breakfast could have been better with more selections but the waffles were amazing if all else fails.

This hotel was amazing. From check in to check out. Staff so friendly and helpful. Beautiful patio with large grill that we used. Indoor pool was clean and nice. Breakfast had great choices with different items daily. Would definitely stay there again.

The room was very spacious, had a kitchen and accepted pets. Bed was very comfortable and the free breakfast was good.

The accommodations was perfect for our family. The location to shops was awesome.

Once we got the staff attention, everything went smoothly and the room is exactly as we expected. Both on the way down as well as the way back we loved having the full sized fridge as we were carting cold items packed in coolers with ice packs. This allowed us to keep the items cool while we re-froze the ice-packs for the next leg of the trip.

The place was clean, included breakfast was good and other shopping/dining options in walking distance was helpful.

I've stayed at this property before but noticed a difference this time. I wasn't satisfied with the rooms condition. The tv was old and clunky...hsrd to navigate & slow to respond to the remote. The thermostat was uncontrollable, it kept going from warm to hot to a comfirtable temp...we had to notify the desk to ck it but that happened througout the night resulting in uncomfortable rest. The bottom drawer of the fridge was cracked ( which didn't really affect our stay, but I didn't want go be blamed for it). But the worse was the low water pressure. The bathroom sink's water was at a trickle. Thr shower had low water pressure, and after taking a shower I ysed the toilet and it wouldn't flush after 3 attempts until the pressure built back up. The continental breakfast was very good.

Nice and clean, not the best neighborhood but close to the Cape Fear River Trail. Hot tub was out of order during our stay.

Very nice young woman checked me in. Very congenial and helpful. She was able to accommodate me with a first floor suite, as I brought my 75# pup and it’s easier to get her in and out from first floor. This is our second stay while driving back and forth from MA to FL, and we give it 5 stars!

The staff were very accommodating and the room exceeded expectations. Also, very convenient to shopping and dining with much variety.

Hotel was clean and nicely decorated. Enjoyed our stay. Only trouble was I had 2 dresses left behind hanging together (1 gown and 1 casual). Called back but mysteriously only one was found (the gown). I don't appreciate the dishonesty but understand that this was the fault of one underhanded person. Just left a bad taste in my mouth.

The staff is so wonderful and cordial. But next time we are staying in Greensboro when we take the I-95 corridor. The hotel is run down and our bed was broken, cracked to the floor when my husband laid in it. Power was out all morning but not hotel’s fault (local brownout in area).

I just finished an eight day trip with my family. We booked 5 different hotels under IHG, Hilton and Marriott. I had to say this Residence Inn was the best. Nice spacious two bedroom suite. Friendly front desk lady. Very delicious breakfast. Love to stay again.

I Love this location. I always stay at this location when in Fayetteville. The staff is always so nice and professional. Rooms are always clean and comfy.

Requested room with fireplace - didn’t work. Mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Couch was extremely uncomfortable. Could have used an ottoman for the couch to relax while watching television and “ unlit” fireplace. HVAC was loud when AC/heat kicked on. Views from windows were of Sam’s Club parking lot and backside of another hotel. Overall, served its purpose but nothing to rave over.

We were here for 2 nights. First night uneventful, second evening, and ALL NIGHT and morning, the LOUD , HIDEOUS FIRE ALARM WENT OFF ALL NIGHT. I had my 90 yo dad with me. MISERABLE STAY…..

I wish I had taken pictures of the beautiful suite I rented. I could not be more pleased. The only issue I had was the table was wobbly. The check-in was quick, and the front desk agent was extremely professional and polite.

First of all I think when checking in you should be told about the cleaning of the rooms.I was there for 5 days and was just scheduled to have room clean on 3rd day.I had to ask for clean towels/trash empty.Finally a very professional and nice housekeeper named Belinda explain the cleaning schedule but stated that i should have already had room clean .I had to search and take things off house keeping carts to supply my room .I have stayed in various Marriott hotels but was quickly informed this was Resident Inn by Marriott.As though they do there own thing.Don’t attach yourself to the quality of Marriott id you can’t do the quality of service in my opinion.

The hotel was fine, but the area around the hotel was not very safe. There were homeless peeps walkin around the parking lot. I wont stay there again

I really liked this property. The staff at the front desk were very nice. Our room was clean and quiet. I really appreciated having a full refrigerator. They are currently doing some remodeling but it didn’t interfere with our stay at all. This place is located in the proximity of several restaurants

We got to hotel and learned the pool and hot tub were not available (until renovations at hotel were complete). The rate for this hotel far exceeded other options in the area and was hardly worth it. The receptionist knew of our disappointment and offered nothing for compensation knowing the hot tub was the ONLY reason we were staying there. Was not stated on website that pool area wasn’t available.

Our stay was during a renovation of the third floor which went well into the night. We were in a room on the second floor. Our first night there we were startled awake at 11:30 by what sounded like something very large falling directly over our bed.

We got in a little late. The staff was very friendly and fast. The breakfast setup was great. Would definitely stay here again.

The issue is that we called the hotel 2 days before to verify reservations and was told that they had the room. Missing 2nd room from reservation. Was not billed for cancelation due to lack of needed 2nd room - had to change hotel

This was a very nice, suite hotel -- the staff were quite helpful, the room was large, the kitchen was unusually well-equipped, nice bathroom and shower. The common areas were clean and well-maintained. They had a good pet relief area on the property.

Over all the property is nice. The staff was very professional and were very attentive. but the room was in need of renovation. The carpet by the kitchen area were old and exposed wood could be seen. The furnace door was moldy. The bathroom was the worst. I would return just because of the staff. I had visited other Residence Inn but it seems that they are not maintaining the rooms.

Not worth the money at all. This hotel is run down and old. The outside seating area is poorly maintained. The rooms are old, bathrooms are out of date, peeling paint, no sheets for the pull out bed. Not impressed. Spent 700 for four nights- wish I would have spent my money at a different hotel. So disappointed!!

My hotel stay would have been perfect other than construction in the next room It was loud. Im in room 212 and it sounds like they are coming threw the walls. I paid $204 I want to relax not hear what sounds like a bulldozer coming threw the walls. I do feel like there should be an reinburstment of some sort

The hotel and rooms are extremely dated and drab/depressing. Walls and ceilings are paper-thin, so we could hear guests all around us. Could not get a good night's sleep which is all we wanted.

Our room had ladybugs in the bathroom ceiling and the ceiling had extremely poor repair job there was other moths flying around the room. I asked to switch to a second floor or higher room and was told nothing is available even though I offered to pay one of the TVs didn’t work and there was no staff available to come repair it and the worst part was an $87 surcharge for our dog who is cleaner than the room was. The dishwasher was filled with dishes whether was clean or not I would never know every plug has to be changed because the worn out and you couldn’t plug charger into the socket unless gravity held the charger in place. The doors upon entering our room were scratched and paint was missing. I realize I wasn’t staying there for multiple days however it should be a semi-enjoyable experience in this hotel is truly off our list

This place needs updated BAD! the lobby looks very nice, but then you get up on the other floors and the carpet is gross, all the doors are peeling, and it stinks! Its posted everywhere in the hotel that its a non smoking premises yet it smelled like a mixture of weed and cigarettes on our floor.

The room was great but the hallways were disreputable! The carpet with filthy and smelled like mold and mildew.

The staff was very nice but the facility needs to be updated, between chipped paint on some of the bedroom doors and some of the fluorescent lights being too low, the appearance looks very run down. I booked a two bedroom suite and some of the dishes were stained, but housekeeping was very nice and polite to replace some of the things in the kitchen.
