La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fayetteville I-95

The room was clean. The hotel is really old but just has a new façade. It’s very humid and smells horrible inside a lot of drug addicts wandering around in the parking lot. The staff was extremely nice in the room was very clean.

Unless you enjoy the thrill of your vehicle possibly being stolen overnight or being watched by Fayettevilles finest most respectful folks, who are hanging out in the parking lot and on the balconies of the motel across the street. 0/10 not worth feeling unsafe to stay here at any price.

The woman working the front desk is always helpful and friendly. She welcomed us back One light did not work and being on the ground floor the window overlooked an area where people walked their dogs. The room could have benefited from a sheer drapery rather than just light blocking heavy curtains

Convenient location for our particular trip It felt like a truck stop. The lobby felt like a service entrance. Recent room refreshes were very poorly done. It seemed clean, and the bed was comfortable, but we expected much better from a brand name.

Even though I checking on-line, it still took 15 minutes to check in again at the front desk.

We always book a dog room. The cost here is $25. Others do the same, however, I'm not sure where the extra $25 winds up from all those who they collect from. Reason I say that is that the dog room we had was poorly maintained. As far as the floor beneath our feet go, I would imagine nobody ever brings a mop inside to get these wooden floors a lot cleaner and smelling better. So, I am disappointed and I mentioned this to the management staff there. Please, someone needs to run a squeegee mop over there at least once a week. Maybe even sooner.

We had a problem with the tv, being technically challenged and Amelia couldn’t have been more helpful and was nice to all as she was checking in guests. We didn’t realize but it was the end of her day not the beginning. Our next hotel was the complete opposite. The check-in was so cold and our sheets didn’t smell nice.

That the hotel was off I 95 north. Also they allowed pets In the bathroom there were hand towel with dog poop on them and the towels really didn’t smell fresh. There were nats flying in the room. The breakfast you went allowed to take anything up to room we were only allied to eat right there. Also the air conditioner there was a tapping all night long. Was not a good stay

On the plus side, the check in front desk lady was friendly, the beds were clean and the shower looked clean. But it was the type of place you looked for bedbugs before entering the bed and rinsed the tub before showering and wore sandals in the shower ... just to be safe.

Room was clean. Easy checkin process with friendly staff. Convenient location right off 95 but I could hear road noise. AC did not work well and was very loud when blower unit turned on. I did not eat breakfast at the hotel because I left very early and went to Starbucks just down the road.

I spoke with the front desk as the manager was not available. I informed her that we were very disappointed in the quality of this Wyndham. The room (325) had a very offensive smell of stale air (perhaps moldy or poor circulation even after turning on the fan) and we were uncomfortable the whole night with it. The bed had annoying squeaks when we shifted. We will be reporting this stay to the hotel manager.

I did the Pre-Check In, so when I got to the hotel, the check in process was very quick. Breakfast is included, and starts at 6am, which helps if you want to get on the road early. I found the breakfast selection as good, but not overly extensive, but I really did like the waffles and coffee available 24 hours a day. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed the hotel. The rooms looked as if they were recently updated. I did not like the fact that a side door to enter the building would not lock because the lock was taped open on purpose. I had the room next to that side exit door, so it made me a bit skeptical about the security

Room was cold...missing door sweep to prevent breeze coming in under the door. Extra 40$ hold put on card for any no good reason...for 2 weeks ...never had any other hotel do this. Very hard to locate if your not following gps. Breakfast was marginal ok

The lady who maintained the breakfast room does an excellent job. Thank you! Our room was on the 3rd floor. The bathroom shower's door was a little off, therefore, I saw water damage and had to wipe up water leakage.

From the moment we got to the hotel we could tell it was a mistake. It looks a bit run down. I checked in and was told that there was a door on the end of the hotel that we could go in and our room was right there. The problem with that was that anyone could just walk in because you didn't need a key card to open it. I was told by the women at the front desk that the door isn't locked during the day because they were having problems with the door. This was after dodging the trash can with messy buckets in it right in the middle of the sidewalk. The room looked bleak when we went in. There was a hole in the ceiling, the curtains at the window were so long that they covered the heat/ac unit and they looked like they hadn't been washed in years. The window was so dirty it looked like it had lost it's gas and was foggy. The room had a funky smell to it. My daughter took one look and said 'no way'. We immediately left and found another hotel that was in better shape with no problems. We didn't even go to the front desk and check out. We didn't want any parts of this hotel. I have stayed at other LaQuinta's with no problems but this one cured me of staying in another one again.

Stayed for one night on the way to Florida. Very clean, quiet, and friendly staff! Would stay again for sure.

Received an email from Expedia stating that my card needed to be updated once arrived to the property was charged at check-in and charged again by Expedia multiple charges to my card and did not receive a refund charged twice for the day at this crappy hotel that smells like feet! Manager at property refuse to refund me for one of the rules went on and cancel the room deny mine refund completely money, hungry establishment who don’t care about their gas and customer service

Staff was fine. Hotel was clean but is also an older property and shows it's age. Other hotels I looked at in the area were more expensive but they are new. Think mine was $120 for a Sunday November night. Others were $150ish.

Location off I95 was easy to get to. Manager Alana was awesome. We had a long drive and tired and she greeted us and got us to our room quickly. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

I stayed, attempted to change it immediately, however between you and Expedia I couldn’t work thru the protocol. Please return my money, we are in our eighties and need it.

Fridge did not work. The sausage and eggs at the breakfast were horrendous. The yogurt was totally frozen. Inconvenient location. Unsafe with vagrants all around area. Just not a pleasant experience. Staff one morning literally berated a man who had trouble speaking English. It was terrible. No more La Quinta for me.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very good as well. However, the room was in need of some repairs. Nothing major… but trim was peeling in the bathroom, etc. It had been modernized but had not had a full remodel.

The food was ok I wouldn't say it was as great as the review. Things were walking distance but had a bunch of stragglers outside so that wasn't great. the room smelled of mold and feces most of the time. the pool felt dirty and they used a hose to filter the water which I felt questionable.The wifi was the worse wifi of all time they really should work on that part, didn't have service unless I went to the lobby. The dryer didn't dry my things property and it cost $2.50. However I did feel safe inside and welcomed by the ladies for the most part outside of all the negative. I believe the price they charge should go down a lot.

Overall experience was great for what you pay, Amalia (the front service lady) was amazing and helped throughout the whole stay.. rooms were decent size and clean .. everything provided for you.. only downside was the toilet.. it would not flush or hold water .. outside area was a bit unsafe and scary

My 5 year old witnessed a racist verbal assault from a woman towards the workers during check in. Lots of apparent water damage water dripping out of light fixtures at the entrance to pool, blood or mold on our mattress. Workers were kind though

1st. The area where hotel located was surrounded with very low quality hotels. Where tons of homeless hang out. And honestly you could see drug activity near. 2nd. The room was nice except the floor was extremely dirty. A hair ball and tons of stans on floor. 3rd. While latying in bed at 3 different times we heard hun shots!!!!! 4th. Couldnt get any sleep because the people in next room were partying until 3am. I tried turning my tv up louder, i tried rain sounds on my phone either way i left feeling tired. For the price i could have stayed in a nicer hotel in a nicer part of Fayetteville.

The hotel is fine if you are not a light sleeper. None of us could sleep well. The bedding was making a weird cracking noice. The ac unit was not only producing buzzing sound but also a nice hammer beat. And the airplanes flew over all night long. We did like the solid floor surface, large bathroom and overall the room size.

Decent hotel for one night that has outdated their golden years. Very few options of restaurants for dining near by, but hotel is near 95. Bathroom shower had either cold water or super hot. I guess it was ok, beds were comfortable, room had AC but felt very humid

There was nothing wrong per se, but seemed horribly understaffed in the morning, food was unavailable, and milk was spoiled.

There was mold in our room, the only friendly staff was the lady who checked us in. We got charged randomly in the middle of our stay for pets that was already dealt with through Expedia before checking in. The hallway smelled horrific. The housekeeping came in our room to “tidy” up but nothing was done either day of our stay. No trash taken, no extra towels were given, etc. very unsatisfactory and will not be staying here again.

The staff was great, but the gym and our room had mold smell/residue. The king sized bed had the smallest pillows for a bed. A twin bed would have been too big for those. The ac would stop blowing so the room was muggy. One corridor smelled strongly of cat urine. The breakfast was not impressive, comprising of restituted eggs, and grainy yogurt. We were lucky to find a spot for our truck and trailer. Overall, would not stay again.

The front desk staff was welcoming. The room was sufficiently clean, but dark. And seriously insufficient lighting in bathroom. Shampoo bottle emptied quickly-asked for more, and never received. Slamming doors nearby made it impossible to get a good night’s sleep.

This is the second time I have stayed here. The hotel is always clean and people and pet friendly. It is off a main road for access to food and gas. Parking was easy and there is a large patch of land for dog walking. The hotel was quiet. The free breakfast smelled great but having a dog with me, I could not enjoy the breakfast as pets are not permitted in the breakfast area. A staff member did offer to hold my dog so I could run over and grab some food but I did not take them up on the offer. That was nice. I have not yet decided what I think of the surrounding area. There is a motel directly across the street and while walking my dog, I saw people sleeping outside the motel rooms on the ground. I have no idea why.

Our overnight stay was everything we needed in a handicap- accessible room. The beds were comfortable and clean and the air conditioner was reasonably quiet. Also, we heard no noise from the adjacent rooms. Their breakfast options were sufficient for us to refuel before continuing on our way northward.

The property is good but our room was close to the highway thus very noisy As for the staff they were excellent especially Amelia. She represented the brand so well. Her enthusiasm and passion for the job comes through. Made us feel very welcomed and relaxed. Her attitude should be taught system wide.

I enjoyed my stay there. The front desk was very resourceful, & the employees were very patient with helping me with the simple. Check-in and check-out was pretty simple. Ther oom I had was very clean & comfortable. I valued and utilized the wi-fi were needed, & I got the things handled while I was there.

It was a very good and we enjoyed the cleanliness and big king bed with super white bedspread! Really could see how clean. Breakfast was great especially the waffles! Check it out.

Excellent staff. Rooms and place was pretty clean. No pool but the workout room was nice. Laundry room was clean and worked well enough. $2.50 for each system. Only issues were the bath tub drain didn't work so no bath and the black out curtain did not work. Bath could have just been my room and I would recommend asking for an east facing room if you need to sleep during the day. Overall I'll definitely stay again if needed.

Bathroom shower had mold and we explained to the front desk that there was mold in the shower which could be dangerous to all the individuals staying at that hotel. We tried explaining to the hotel lobby staff to warn other guests staying at rooms next to ours the there response was it was not their hotel and it was not their concern. I would suggest staying at another property until the mold issues is resolved. Mold is very dangerous and once in one's lungs can cause severe and sometimes fatal damage. The City of Department of Health should investigate.
