This location was so convenient being right on the Old Main greenspace /lawn and they allowed me to leave my car parked while attending orientation activities. Hotel has a lot of beautiful historic features and is well maintained, with modern conveniences like a garden tub, high flow shower head, and lots of power and USB connections.

Super cute bed and breakfast style inn on campus. It’s located right by Greek row and easy access to the Frisco trail. Our room was cozy and I would describe it as modern cozy cottage. We stayed here for our campus college visit. But I definitely would stay here again for game day or visiting my daughter at school. Ella’s restaurant was the perfect brunch as well.

An alumnus ’ dream! Easy walk to Old Main and Dickson. The room was super clean. The staff was so nice and accommodating.Bar was good but drinks were pricey. Would stay here again! Only docked a star because first night our bed was apparently broken and we had to change rooms, so slight inconvenience but no biggie. Will stay here again.

This hotel is in a great location and has a great restaurant and bar. However, our room was more like a storage room or afterthought. There were few people there at the time but we were put in a room right next to the elevator that loudly dings and our room had windows that opened to the roof with no few of sky or grass or anything. Bizarre. We were only there for one night or I would’ve asked to change rooms. Not sure I would stay here again.

Nice room, pleasant staff, comfortable bed. It was a cool, old building with lots of turn of the century charm. However, that comes with drawbacks. Rooms are not at all sound proof. It was noisy. You I was on the second floor. They were doing work on the third. Lots of noise and banging above my head. Understandable as it was afternoon and work had to get done. However, the doors are thin with gaps underneath and conversations in the lobby floated up stairs and could be heard as if you were standing next to them. You could hear conversations from the restaurant and in the hallway at the bottom of the steps.

Terrible experience from start to finish. Booked through Expedia and, upon check-in, was given a room literally next to the front door. When I asked about it, the front desk almost gleefully told me “those rooms” are reserved for Expedia guests. Unreal. To make matters worse, I had initially booked the wrong night, canceled immediately, and re-booked correctly—yet the hotel charged me for both nights and flatly refused to credit me back. The property itself has potential, but the way it’s run feels unprofessional, nickel-and-dime, and downright shady. Plenty of better places to stay—avoid this one.

Our room’s air conditioner did not work. The engineering staff was great but it was unfortunately a weekend. They gave us another bed upstairs and we were able to sleep there and keep our stuff down in the other room. Staff was great from front desk to engineer. They’re doing the best they can with the condition of the hotel. Owners just need to do desperately needed upgrades to the hotel.

Such a charming Inn! Thr staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Our room had the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, no exaggeration. We arrived early after five hour drive and the front desk happily let me check in early—no fee needed. The room was spotless: crisp linens, no dust, and the bathroom was immaculate. Large front porch. If you get a 1st floor room the shutter windows don’t keep out the light. Annoying. Plus—room was near the in/out door. You hear everyone exit…especially in the AM. I booked through a 3rd party at a discount. I think they give their downscale rooms to such. For an allegedly 1st class place I thought, too, that it was a little bit chincy to require a dang ticket for a cup of coffee. It was nice—but for those issues.

The Hotel is really nice, only problem rooms on the 3rd floor are not that good and the hallways are very stretch and not high which takes out all the nice impression from the Hotel, Telephone in the room did not work and fire alarm went on & off all night and no one from the hotel staff notice.

A historic building run like a bad Hotel 6. When making a reservation asked for a quiet room. They gave us a room next to the bar 30 ft from an in and out door. Noisy as hell! The room had a lotion bottle on the floor when we checked in. The staff at the front desk is run by clueless college kids. There was no coffee in the common area dispenser. After 15 minutes of waiting for a new brew after mentioning it, we gave up and went to somewhere to get it. When I expressed dismay at the overall poor experience I was told they would comp us. When they never did the manager indicated we could only get a credit for a future week-day stay. They knew we were out of towners, so mngt figured we would never take them up on their offer. Not that I would actually want to come back. I’m not high maintenance as I usually stay in cheap hotels. But this place sucks! Save yourself some money and stay in a real hotel.

We were put in the basement. The room next to us was the laundry room. Directly above us the restaurant. We could hear EVERYTHING. If you book this hotel request 2-5 floors. It would have been a five star if it wouldn’t have been for this room. I feel like it was the maid quarters at some point and they decided to make it a hotel room. Absolutely unethical to rent this room out as the rest of the hotel at the same premium price. Great place, great people who work there. Just make sure you are NOT in the basement room.

My only complaint is the restaurant staff ...they come across overwhelmed, yet it's only a 50 room hotel and the restaurants are never really busy. We were in Fayetteville for my wife to have out patient surgery. The staff was accommodating about finding driving directions. It was convenient to have meals on location. An unexpected pleasure was sitting on the porch in a rocker listening to a Razorback baseball game.

Location is with sorority and frat housing. It is a extremely busy location. However the Inn itself is worth the experience.

Okay stay. Hotel has a nice restaurant. The shower you have to be in to turn on the water, so until it gets hot you feel the cold, other than that it was a nice stay.

I do not recommend third floor if you are tall. Be prepared to sleep with the lights on if you want to place your phone on the nightstand to charge. The wiring in my room was the kind that the light switch has to be on for the room to have electricity. The plugs do not work unless the light switch is on. So, if you want the plug by the bed to work, the lights have to be turned on. Oh, and the bar closes at least an hour earlier than the hours indicated.

I really wish I could give this hotel 5 stars. I think with a little bit of updating and servicing a few items, the hotel would be top notch. The staff was friendly, the hotel was safe and clean, and the historic part made it even more special. But the mattress was one of the most uncomfortable things I have slept on since I last had to sleep on the ground. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that those beds are 30 years old. I can deal with a few of the other issues, but when I wake up mad and hurting because the mattress was so hard, it ruins the stay. It would not cost much to upgrade the beds and do a service check on pipes, drains, etc. I personally think your guest would notice a big difference. Sadly, I will not be staying there again unless the beds are replaced. I have a chiropractor appointment Tuesday to realign my back.
