This place was perfect. We had the 2 king size bed room. We needed up having the room for handicap. So it was extra wide and very comfortable/ nice. Floors were very clean. Shower was amazing! Loved the 2 king size bed option, we have 2 teen girls that we travel with for softball and it was EXTREMELY comfortable for them! Sheets/ blankets/ pillows were wonderful. They did have a sign on the door that said they were under construction. But we didn’t hear anything. Breakfast was good- standard eggs, bacon, biscuit/ gravy option. I would definitely stay here again! The only problem, no pool/hot tub. But that’s such a Small thing compared to all the other wonderful things!

The room was clean. Breakfast got the job done. The staff was helpful. The hotel is old and worn. Although they are working on upgrades. I wish I would have known about the construction in progress. For 260$ a night I expected more. I won’t be staying there again.

Might have to take this review with a grain of salt because during my stay, they were doing construction so a few stars just got dinged out of honesty because the place was a bit dirty from all the construction material and debris. Staff was super friendly. The breakfast is what you would expect from a breakfast at a hotel I would come back.

The hotel was doing construction to the third floor but it wasn’t bothersome to us. Our room was very nice, clean and roomy. The bathroom needed some updating but functional and clean. It’s a good location, too.

We have stayed at this property many times with good experiences - and we will probably stay there again, but this particular visit was disappointing. The elevator was filthy when we checked in, and it was in the exact same condition when we checked out. Our room wasn’t terribly clean…lots of hair around the room that wasn’t ours. When we approached the desk to check out, the employee couldn’t be bothered to look up from her phone. I stood there for several seconds and finally just left the keys on the desk without a word. The property is in the middle of renovating, so I’m tempted to give them some grace, but they shouldn’t let the quality down in the interim.

Clean room, helpful staff and easy parking. There was construction lending to new carpet smell up and down the hallway that was a bit overwhelming. Otherwise good.

If you just need a place to stay, this is the place. No frills and limited breakfast, but the staff is helpful. There is construction going on right now as well.

The only issues we had was the air conditioner unit in our suite was really loud. Even when turned off, it stayed on for a while before it finally shut off. There also was only one accessible plug-in in the bedroom. The living room had plenty of plug-ins, but some of them were painted over. There lighting in the bedroom was not very good either. They are renovating the hotel so maybe they will fix those issues. All in all, it was a good stay! I have had much worse stays!

These are our go-to accommodations when we’re in the Fayetteville area. Property is in the process of being renovated. We were in a recently renovated room, which was quite nice. No carpet on the floors, and a sink out of the toilet area, which I think is smart. The one thing I miss is a shelf in the shower to put toiletries, and a little low shelf in the shower for ladies to be able to shave their legs! Breakfast and overall stay was good as usual.

We got stuck in the elevator for 5 minutes between floors then it took us back to the floor our room was on. That’s were we got on the elevator!

Tv didn’t work the whole time we stayed. No pool. Building was under construction so it was a total mess. Air conditioner was so loud it sounded like a rocket ship. Breakfast was mediocre.

This property was very clean, the staff friendly, and it had a decent vareity of food for breakfast. Our room was large, clean, and the beds were comfortable.

It was easy to get into the parking lot and easy to get into the room. Staff was very nice. Very nice breakfast. I really liked that I could have a tea anytime.

This facility is under renovation. However, the work did not interfere with our stay in any way. The room and bathroom were very clean. Plenty of covers (some hotels have gone to a minimalist mode on blankets/bedspreads) with above average quality. Breakfast was standard HIE fare which I find satisfactory for my needs. All four desk reps and the three hotel staff I encountered were very friendly and professional. This was my wife’s and my third stay in this hotel in the past 3 years. While this room had not been renovated yet it was still nice. I’m hoping by our next trip that there will be multi-function outlets, new tables and shower heads. The outside area was actually quite clean considering all the renovations occurring.

This hotel is such a mixed bag. The rooms are large and clean, but the bathroom was ROUGH. Stains everywhere, shower curtain rod tilted at an angle that makes it impossible to close, water sprays out all over the floor. Our trash was emptied and we got new towels, but our beds were not made. We booked a two night stay, but our keys stopped working after one. There is a single elevator for this large, 5 floor hotel and it takes a long time to come. They were open about renovations occurring but the construction staff shows up at 8 AM when the hotel is busy and uses the elevator to move their equipment. Hotel cleaning staff also use the same elevator. It’s a long wait frequently. We started walking the stairs to the 5th floor to get to our room due to the waits. The staff were friendly, but the desk wasn’t staffed at times with just a sign that said to wait at the desk for them. There is so much potential here, but it’s not working currently. We had pre-booked a return visit later this year but cancelled after our first visit.

Hotel was being remodeled. I would not have booked a room there had I known this. Our room was clean , but dated. I can understand why it’s being remodeled. Our sink was plugged up. The staff did fix the problem quickly.

Wonderful stop for us on our way to Nebraska. We have decided this will be our stop every trip to see our son, daughter in law & newest grandchild. Rhiannon was exceptional from the moment we walked through the door! Exceptional service. Clean rooms. Very satisfied

Towel was sitting on a rusty rack. Bed was clean hotel felt dingy did not feel like any other Holiday Inn express I’ve stayed at. I didn’t stay a second night and nobody will refund my money.

They are under construction and they put us DIRECTLY UNDER a room that was drilling and cutting concretes and remodeling ALLLLLL DAY EVERY DAY!!! They didn’t even offer a discount snd then AFTER we were told we would receive compensation on our third night, not knowing that we are going to have to listen to construction all day every day they refuse to do it after the fact after we get checked out and returned home. They told me if I needed to use the phone for business to go to the lobby and find a quiet place Completely unprofessional completely mismanaged remodeling and construction process. The staff seemed nice. The hotel seem like a great location very close to the university, but there are lots of other properties around and they should never ever ever have put us directly underneath the room that has being remodeled with concrete work and saw cutting ALL DAY!!!

First room had broken toilet so we had to move. Hotel under construction, terrible pillows. Worst hotel stay!

Nice hotel. Staff is not seen as you first enter, however they are friendly, efficient, and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. The property is nice, and the surrounding areas appear safe, but also a place very close to restaurants, neighborhood gathering spots, and pubs.

Property is under construction but not sure if our particular room had been renovated yet. Bathroom sink area is in the entry way included with the coffee maker, microwave & fridge. The actual bathroom is disgusting. Everything was rusted, paint caked in the tub, hole in the tile that had some spakling thrown on. Almost none of the electrical outlets worked.

The room was clean but there was a terrible smell coming from the vanity sink drain. We had to close the drain, fill sink with soap and water to be able to tolerate. Otherwise, beds were comfortable.

Then I requested no room service on the second day. I told the maid working outside my room. She wrote it down. I return to my room and was in my bathroom using the restroom and another maid walked into my room and entered my bathroom. Didn’t knock or announce herself. I was in shocked and she walked out. I will never stay there again.

Living room was spacious & comfortable. The king size bed was firm and comfortably supportive. Bathroom door a little too close to master bed headboard. There was construction occuring (pounding & sanding) in the room directly above ours (from about 9am to 4pm). Excellent staff, breakfast and parking.

This hotel met my needs. Our room was clean and quiet. Check in was easy and I was given a room to satisfy a request I made. The coffee was surprisingly good.

The stay was pretty good. Beds were nice and rooms were spacious. You could tell it was a little dated and the cleaners don’t ever wipe down the walls.

It was convenient. It was familiar as we stayed here for travel ball 2018-2022. Love the comfortable mattresses and pillows. My problem was our water was ice cold after running 5 minutes in tub, requested room change. Another room 3rd floor water ice cold. Finally changed us to third room on 4th floor and water was hot.

Stayed 1 night. Basic room but has everything you need. Bed was a bit firm for my liking but not uncomfortable. 2 kings in 1 room is nice. Hot breakfast was good.

Bathroom was a little grody. The room was nice but it just didn’t feel clean due to the state of the bathroom. Beds were super comfy though and it was a nice stay just would have been nicer if the bathroom would have been better taken care of.

The hotel was fine: clean and quiet. Some of the furniture could be updated, but everything was generally comfortable and clean. The breakfast was considerably above the usual standards for a hotel in this price range.

Upon arrival the front desk clerk was very friendly. We had a fast easy check in. Our room was clean and spacious. We had a good night sleep. We will definitely stay here again!

Ok for an older hotel. Clean but needs some cosmetic improvements. Wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom. The ceiling had water damage that was poorly patched. Beds were ok. Hotel was quiet and breakfast was typical hotel breakfast foods.

Service/staff were friendly and helpful. Location is convenient and overall the facilities are clean and well maintained. A fuse blew, so we were in the partial dark for a short period of time, but maintenance addressed it quickly.

for one desk lamp…room was dark and not welcoming at all, the elevator had no indication lights working and was very dirty. Our room had M&M on the floor right by the bed so they obviously did not vacuum the room, who know what else they did not do. Several other hotels very close by, we will be staying else where from now on…won’t return to this Holiday Inn Express

This was a last minute booking as we travelled home from a long trip. The hotel was very clean and comfortable.

Nice rooms and large beds.

Front desk employees are friendly. The first room we were given had hair in the bed, mold on the bathroom walls and the privacy lock was dangling by a loose screw. The front desk staff swapped us to another room and sadly the sheets are stained, the bathroom fixtures are separated from the wall and the mattresses are well past their expiration date. We've stayed at Holiday Inn Express in many states and until now haven't been disappointed. With I share pictures so others would avoid the same costly mistake. Live and learn.

To make it better i wouldnt charge people as soon as they check in for incidentals. Yes its only $25 but you are suggesting that something will happen amd wont.

Great stay, property is well maintained! Great staff, front desk was outstanding as well as housekeeping! The breakfast staff does an outstanding job with breakfast, with a variety of choices! The cinnamon rolls are for real! We’ll be back for sure!

Easy to get to,

The couch in the main room was hard as concrete (wife liked it, I didn't) & the faucet in the mini sink had a steady drip that was mildly annoying, but other than that everything was great. Big, clean room that was well furnished. An extremely friendly staff full of smiling faces & a 24 hour coffee bar in the main lobby were big plusses.

From arriving @ desk checking in, welcomed by smiles & friendly professionals; thru to requesting additional coffee pods & towels and housekeeping was kind & accommodating. And, the breakfast lady greeting us this morning was sweet! The GM Herver must be a good leader, it filters down to the staff our family interacted with over the 2 days stay! Accountability is obviously part of this HIExpress & I was impressed!

Because the hotel is close to the interstate, you will hear traffic. My room was clean; however, the shower wall has hair on it, there were not wash cloths and the faucet was not attached to the wall. The hand soap dispenser was dirty with caked up soap at the tip of it. The room does need some tlc. The wallpaper was coming off the wall. Overall, the stay was okay, but I wouldn’t stay there again

So we called prior to arrival asking if pets were allowed & if there was a charge. Over the phone we was told yes they are & our incidental hold would cover it as well as a $25 hold for the pet. Once we arrived we was informed of a $75 fee. Once getting to the room all seemed fine just extremely dated, as we dropped our stuff & left. Later to find out the tv didnt work, tried to call front desk phone didnt work very good & was hard to hear, went down stairs & reported the tv. It was never fixed in our 4 day stay. After we got to looking at the room, bathroom was very dirty, toilet had urine on rim from previous guest, tub had soap pooled around the bottles the body wash & shampoo were empty, throughout our stay house keeping never once dumped our trash which had became a large pile. Also worth noting the elevator is super sketchy, none of the buttons or floor indicators work & its very jumpy. Also for me its a huge turnoff that no safes were available.

Very run down property. If you are going to gouge us for $350/night then put the $ back in the property. Room had mold/rust..shower area was disgusting. A/C did not run properly and blew humid air if it was not running on freezing. Just overall the worst experience at a hotel I have ever had as far as having to pay so much and have to stay in filth. I have stayed at plenty Holiday Inn Express and this property is not representative of your company!!
