Great staff who were very helpful. The Wednesday evening social was a nice addition.

The breakfast was very good for this type of hotel and the pool was a great perk to have! Service is very friendly and make you feel like home. Great also for family with kids. Location is great. Could use a bit of renovation but overall we had a really good stay.

The location was convenient with quick access to the highways and the DC metro. A diner was adjacent to the hotel which was useful. Rooms were cramped for space even though we had two room suite. There was light dust particles in the room. House keeping missed on cleaning the room one day.

Check in was smooth and easy. Great location, lots of food and shopping nearby.

The room was clean but dated and tired in appearance. The pull out sofa was uncomfortable as well. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the property was conveniently located.

The suite was welcoming - although the photo depictions made the common room to appear more spacious. Also, we would rather the bathroom be accessible from both the bedroom and the sleeper/sofa. Overall, the hotel was lovely; breakfast was delicious; and the staff were kind.

Had a funeral to attend. Staff was very accommodating. Loved that the room had a full kitchen (didn't use it) but loved to have the option. Heated Whirlpool was great! Never wanted to leave it. Mr. Romany was extremely helpful throughout our visit. My husband actually tried to slip him a tip for being some welcoming and helpful and he refused it and said he just loved his job. Surrounded by department/grocery stores, shops, & restaurants. My family lives in the area. Will definitely stay here when I visit again. Hotel is outdated as others have stated, but I think it adds to its charm.

The staff is doing a great job keeping the hotel in good shape. It’s a little dated but absolutely fine. Pool and hot tub were extremely clean. Breakfast was very good.

Staff is very hospitable and friendly, quick to answer any question or step in when I needed a bit of guidance. Breakfast is adequate with some day-to-day variety. Indications are that some changes are in process. Coffee was consistently great every morning! ( I take mine black.) Suite was clean, roomy and really quite a delight. Though this stay (our 2nd) was near the elevator nights were quiet.

The breakfast was just ok. Had eggs a meat and potatoes. One morning the meat was pork carnitas???. The room was spacious and clean but they are outdated. The complementary soap in the shower was near empty on day 1. The hot tub was nice after a long day. Staff was very friendly. Outside was VERY noisy around 5-6am with what I think was a trash dump truck emptying dumpsters. This happened multiple mornings

It was a nice 1 night stay.

The hotel furnishings are “tired” but everything was super clean. The staff were all amazing. Every single person I was privileged to talk to, were warm and friendly and truly helpful. The kids loved the pool. I love that it was indoor so the could use it during the cold weather. The included breakfast helped our family to afford our trip. The location of the hotel is wonderful, with so many places to eat and shop within a 5 minute walk.

I had a clean quiet room, Breakfast was great and everyone was friendly. It was great walking distance to restaurants and stores.

Friendly check in, gave complimentary water bottles since we had a long drive from NJ. I received text messages throughout my stay in case I needed anything. They even provided dinner suggestions. Will definitely stay here again.

Bathroom vent putrid and not clean. Dripping in bathroom. Trash in kitchen can. TV remote had 2 nose strips, indicating no cleaning. Nite lite in bathroom sink did not work. Only 1 creamer in room.

Our accommodations were clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is very easy access from 495 or 50. The only negatives: although there were 4 pillows on the bed, all of them were soft and flat. Side-sleepers should bring their own pillows. Also, there were no instructions on how to use the remotes and TVs. The one in the living room did not seem to do anything.

Nice, comfortable clean room. Amenities were very good - coffee, dishes, fridge, etc. Beds were an 8 out of 10. Bedcovers were nice but a little heavy. Living room sofa (a fold out bed?) was like sitting on a board, not comfortable. Bathroom was excellent with one exception, the handheld shower wand didn’t work, however the shower worked ok and the tub was excellent with a non-slip area that greatly helped safely standing in the tub. Overall a very nice room.

Very friendly staff, responded to room needs promptly. Pool was clean, great breakfast options (plenty variety). Coffee stand always ready for guests. The only thing was the hotel does look to be on the older, outdated side and the hot tub didn't seem too clean.

The bed was comfortable. The room was large. It was nice to have a small kitchen, although I did not use it, except for the refrigerator. It would have been nice to have windows that opened. My room had bugs. Ants in the bathroom and in the bathroom sink every night when I returned. Then something that looked like a box elder bug was crawling on the counter and in the refrigerator. Luckily I did not have food in the frig. They moved me to another room and gave me some free water and snacks as a "Sorry". Only one beetle scurried out from the blow dryer on the wall in this room. The fixtures showed a lot of wear in the second room. The muffins were just ok at the breakfast buffet. A little stale. The oatmeal was tasteless.

Amazing staff. Really enjoyed our time here as it had every requirement we wanted for this trip. We had one vegetarian in the group who was able to enjoy the breakfast as well since they had options like chia seed pudding, overnight oats, etc.

SAFETY: There was a man in the lobby who walked in, scanned and walk around the parking lot several times. It was clear he was not a guest. This man came in and stared at me twice, then walked back out. As I was sitting in my car, he walked from the far end of the parking lot (again) toward the building. Stopped in front of my car and stared at my license plate. Then he walked into the hotel. I sat I’m my car for the next 5-10 minutes before heading inside. This same man got in the elevator with me, but didn’t hit a button until after I got to my floor and watched me get off. I saw his floor number before stepping out. Then I used the stairs to follow a hunch. When I got to his floor, he was in the hall texting on his phone. I took a selfie with him! He then proceeded to use the far stairs to exit as quickly as possible, without passing me. I headed back out to my car, drove around the lot for a few minutes, no sign of him. Parked in front of a lit entrance with a camera pointing at it. As I headed back inside, I noticed a large white van with blacked out windows in the lot. It had no plates, no inspection and no registration. I took a video all the way around and a picture of the vin. When I told the desk about it, they pretended to be unaware, POORLY. I am a woman and registered in my name only, my car is in my name only. Too many coincidences to be safe

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property was clean, comfortable, and very welcoming. What really stood out, though, was the excellent service at the front desk. The two gentlemen working there were extremely helpful, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable. From check-in to answering questions and offering recommendations, they truly made me feel valued as a guest. Their professionalism and kindness left a lasting impression. I highly recommend this hotel and appreciate the outstanding service provided by the front desk team.

Breakfast is buffet. There is a variety of food to choose from. Very nice beginning of the day. A nice sit down area. Very attractive. Staff are wonderful. Rooms are large both living room and bedroom. Location is near several stores, restaurants, and main highways and boulevards. Large parking lot. Hilton Honors application is very helpful. Booking.com didn't return a refund for reservation 5888569897. Homewood Suites issue a statement through Booking.com that the reservation was cancelled with no penalty. Booking.com is required to issue the refund because the reservation was made with them. The reservation was canceled due a medical emergency for my wife. United Airlines made an emergency landing at St. John's, Canada on 3 September where we were transffered by ambulance to a hospital ICU. My wife was stabilized and we continued the trip to Homewood Suites Falls Church on 5 September. As for Homewood Suites, I highly recommend this facility. Home away from home.

The hotel is clean and the staff is incredibly friendly. The breakfast food is great, and there’s a nice swimming pool. However, the hotel is a bit outdated and needs some love, but it’s still very clean. One issue we had was that we could hear the neighbors very well. If they were a bit loud or laughed in the middle of the night, we could be awake. I hope they can upgrade the hotel a bit, but for the price, I think it’s still a great value.

Very friendly staff. They quickly took care of trash in front of property someone left. Pool and hot tub were wonderful. Assortment of foods delicious and appreciated- every Wednesday there is an appetizer hour! The only problem was a long wait on hot water from our sink but they sent someone over to check and it required more fixing (They did offer to change our rooms). Great stay with helpful and warm staff.

The door latch on the Master Bedroom was not functional, so again, less privacy than we expected. The room was clean. We liked the art, especially. When we checked in we were asked several times if we had already paid. It was very odd to me that the two people working the desk didn't know and were unable to figure it out. Hopefully we won't be charged twice. We booked a room for 4 people, but only 3 sets of towels were in the room. Little details. The hotel was VERY quiet. We never even heard hallway noise. The continental breakfast was delicious, although the dining area doesn't accommodate enough people.

We were just in for a quick weekend trip to Northern Virginia, but we appreciated the value of the room with its kitchenette and living compared to other hotels.

So the property could use a remodel, but overall still a great stay. Check in was super smooth, the lady at the front desk was beyond nice and friendly and helpful with directions to the metro. Free breakfast and a nice hot tub and pool… not much to complain about. Would stay again if in the area.

Although dated, loved the room set up and the other amenities. We could actually sleep. There were car noises and water sounds from the pipes.

At thr entrance strong odor of chlorine from the pool, pool was not clean, bath tube had hair in it, breakfast option was limited and cold, I would not want to come again, probably for the price quality is below average

Amazing! Had a group of girls here to celebrate a special gathering. They enjoyed the pool, the trim was clean and spacious and accommodated our needs perfectly!

While the property looks a bit dated, the accommodations were comfortable and fine for what I needed on a business trip.

Despite everything looking to be in order, we saw multiple cockroaches in the room. We were so creeped out and unhappy that we packed up our luggage and two kids and left immediately after speaking to the front desk that said they could not do anything for us and didn’t even apologize! How disgusting !!

Nice landscaping and cleaned

This place was really nice. We stayed for a week on a business trip. Breakfast was great and the Wednesday night dinner was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. We did have a problem with the shower plumbing but that was fixed right away. We’ll be returning in the future!

The hotel itself was older and a bit outdated but overall does the job for a few days going through Washington. We travelled into the main tourist areas easily and they had a lot of great store right around the hotel too!

You get what you pay for. Obviously this is a budget motel, so I went in with low expectations, but was still pretty grossed out…found a fully intact dime-sized roach cooked into the complementary breakfast eggs. Spots of mould in the bathroom. Dishwasher had dirty water in it when we arrived. The microwave was dirty as well. Stains on the carpet, holes in the curtains, sketchy people parked in the parking lot. When mentioning some of the more relevant things to the staff, they just gave us Pringles and some bottled water…

Just avarage from my expectation.

Great service from the manager and assistant manager when checking in. The only thing that wasn't top notch was the breakfast. It was the same exact food every single day, eggs and potatoes with onions and peppers. Wish there was more variety. Some days the eggs were perfect, and others they were runny and inedible. The room was great, met our needs perfectly. Our daughter loved the pool area.

The hotel lobby was nice, food options and lots of stores close by, the pool had too many children for our liking so we chose not to use it, continental breakfast was pretty good, the carpet needs upgrading.

The staff was friendly, the pool was terrific, and the room was in really good condition. The only issue was that there was a little urine on the toilet seat, but a little soap and water cleaned it up easily.

Rooms & bathroom need updated . Toilet is old style too low. There are not enough coffee pods for coffee. Upon arrival there were only 2 caffeinated pods. The shampoo, body wash and soap were very low quality. The top bedspread was cheap, and cheap looking.

Great place for families with a nice breakfast and warm (enough) pool. Great location in Northern Virginia near the Mosaic District and all different types of restaurants.

However, the curtains had a food stain and there was a dead housefly in the window frame, so I think only frequently used things are cleaned regularly. It was not a quiet stay. I heard plumbing, elevators, kids in the next group over, and sirens - I think there's an emergency station nearby. However those sirens would also have been within hearing distance of any hotel in the area. I'm not a light sleeper, but my roommate was annoyed. The light switches were hard to find and the closet was small. None of these were deal breakers for me, especially since the service was good and the important things were clean.

I stayed 4 nights and switched rooms 2 times. First time because room had the intoxicating stench of the air freshener, second time because thermostat was broken and it was cold. Generally this hotel needs renovation !!!!

The prices of this property have doubled in the last year. I cannot see any changes that warrant a jump like this. I would have stayed longer because I love the location, but I moved to another property that was very nice and less than half the cost.

My daughter and I booked a double room to visit my other daughter. We tried to check in at 3 pm (check in time) and room wasn’t ready so we were disappointed. When we came back to check in we were upgraded to a suite. Much happier. The room was clean and beds very comfortable. We skipped breakfast but it looked very comprehensive as we passed through the dining area. This hotel seems a good value.
