    Everything is old. Parking was extra. Hair dryer was broken and asked staff to replace twice. None responded. No water in the room. Noise was horrible and I could hear everything from next room. We couldn’t sleep at all. This was the most horrible experience

    Got a good rate on Expedia for a well-rated hotel we stayed at ~10 yrs ago. Lobby is nice with a bar. No free breakfast. But there is quick coffee bar with a few food items. Self-parking was $18/night in an area you'd not expect it to be. Daily maid service=minimally furnished amenities/towels/etc. My one cup of coffee was ruined with curdled cream (husband's black coffee in noninsulated cup got cold quickly/no m/w); hair in tub which backed up; hair on bathroom floor; not much TP-didn't last 1 day; worst bed ever - lumpy and both of us had to take advil for the pain.

    This is a newly renovated Marriott, with rooms on the top floors advertised as having been the first to get modernized/spiffed up. The other floors are presumably soon to follow. Upon check-in, they give you the option of "upgrading" to one of the upper floor rooms for a $20/night fee. Not breaking the bank, but also enough that you'd hope the experience was at least justify the outlay. My experience was sadly left wanting. While the room did sport some modern aesthetics (graphic wall design), platform bed (with marshmallow soft mattress, in case you were expecting firmer), laminate flooring at the entryway, a couple West Elmy furnishings, one couldn't escape feeling this was the same basic room as before with a little low-fi gussying up. The big disappointment, however, was a shower that went from low-flow and lukewarm to completely crapping out and not running at all by day 3, my check-out day. The front desk attendant was pleasant enough to offer some bonus points to my account as a goodwill gesture. Which was fine, but there are clearly still some wrinkles to iron out as they bring these upgrades online. Overall, it's a Marriott, so you're getting a safe, clean, standardized experience. Would give it a solid 3 stars, with room for improvement.

    The renovation are lack luster. The first room I was offered smelled like paint the second room the A/C did not work well and the refrigerator freeze leaked. The staff was great but it could not make up for the poor condition of the hotel. I will not be staying at that Marriott again.

    Honestly, I did not like my stay at this hotel. The room was dirty, and the front desk staff were super rude , especially the man handling check-outs this morning. The parking garage was also very dirty, and on top of that they charge $18 per day for a super nasty parking garage. I honestly would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    The room/bed were clean and comfy. Our issue was the fridge making very loud noises all night, off and on. Both of us were woken up all night and we were completely exhausted in the morning. We had had such a long day Saturday after a dear friend's funeral, we needed a good sleep.....didn't get it. Hope they can rectify this situation for the next guest in that room.

    We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the cleanliness and comfort offered. The only issue was the dead bolt on our door would not allow the door to close at times. Once, my husband was able to lift and and turn it to fix it. The other time was at our departure and we were unable to get it fixed. We notified hotel personnel and they mentioned that they do stick sometimes and there is some trick to get them to unlock so the door can shut. This seems like an important detail to fix!

    Great front desk staff. Outstanding customer service. Half the parking lot was closed, so I was forced to park in the garage, which was a very long walk to the lobby, especially with luggage. The room was clean but virtually no amenitiesI I ate in the restaurant, and the servers were very nice, but the service was very slow. I left in the morning and there was no one at the front desk to check me out. I’ve stayed at this hotel for many many years in all of its different forms and it is still an excellent hotel just not as good as it used to be.

    I booked this stay hoping for a good night’s sleep before the Cherry Blossom 10 Miler, but it was the opposite. While noise from hotel events wasn’t directly audible in my room, other guests made it one of the worst hotel nights I’ve experienced. Around 10:30 PM, after I’d been asleep for about an hour, the people in the connecting room (strangers to me) knocked on my door as a joke. I called the front desk and asked for security, but I’m not sure anyone came. The rest of the night was filled with hallway noise, loud conversations and slamming doors every 20–30 minutes, making restful sleep impossible.

    They are renovating the 12 floor right on top of our room the drilling noise wake us up before 8 am. Also the mini fridge was not cold enough for the insulin, 2 ice machines were out of service I had to order to 7 eleven uber eats a bag of ice to make sure the medication didn’t go to waste

    Check in was easy Rooms were not you expected from a Marriott. Bathroom had what appeared to be a white plastic sign screwed to the ceiling of the shower. There was touch up paint that was not the correct color throughout the entire room. The shower wasn't clean when we arrived ?. (Black stuff in the tub). We only had 1 towel in a room booked for 2. Breakfast was soo expensive that we went elsewhere to eat after checking out. And don't have a craving for a snickers bar while there, they were over $5 for a regular size bar!!!!

    Nice bar. Restaurant food was good. Parking was easy. I would stay there again. Hard to get to if you are unfamiliar with area. Our Google map guided us to the wrong place, where we were told that this happens all the time, but I guess that is Google's fault and not Marriott's. Hot water during shower turned cold 3 times during my shower...that was an eye opener!

    It was close to where we were spending time. Charging for parking?! I have never stayed at a hotel anywhere in my 50 years on this planet that charged me to park my vehicle in the hotel parking lot; and to not mention anything about this until check-in?! Room was not very clean and everything in it was damaged in some fashion. Bathroom sink only had hot water; no cold water came out of the cold water tap. Pillows were attrocious; too small, no support at all, not enough pillows. Could clearly hear the people in the neighboring rooms- kid screaming, mom talking, dad talking; woke us up numerous times.

    Room: Utterly basic. The bed was ridiculous. It was so uncomfortable. They advertise free internet but then tell you you have to be a Bonvoy member. We got a note under the door explaining they were having a plumbing issue and would be shutting off the water from 11pm until the next morning? No comp was offered. The room telephones are antiques and they didn’t work reliably. I asked for a wake up call and did not get it. They advertise “Smart” tv but the only thing it offers is netflix and there is no mirroring screen capability. The night I stayed there was a big wedding and kids were blocking the halllways playind soccer with shoes littering the hallway making it difficult to get past them. A hotel employee was talking to them and did not ask them to go play somewhere with less traffic. Lines are long at the front desk and the restaurant is barely mediocre. There are no bellhops or people outside to assist you. thing. The good news was that once you could get them customer service folks were professional, courteous and helpful. The hotel itself is just a dump. Overall a hugely disappointing experience for a hotel that charges over 200 bucks per night.

    Ok place if you just need a place to sleep. I visited a relative at near by hospital and only spent bare minimum time in hotel. It’s a bit dated and worn but food was ok and staff friendly. The location is a bit off as it’s far from everything except hospital.

The room’s adjoining room allowed noise from another guest to be heard quiet easily so I got woken up at around 5:30-6 am from someone talking on the phone in the room that was adjoining ours. I also don’t think it’s moral to charge a $13.00 parking fee, when there is no cameras in the parking lot in case of theft, and signs posted that state to bring your stuff in because they will not be held responsible even though I was forced to pay the parking fee park in their parking lot where I just paid approx $200 a night to stay.

    Stayed here for one night when our A/C was out. It was quiet and clean and has good beds(I'm very particular). Also, my daughter forgot her AirPods in the room and the hotel staff turned them in so I was able to retrieve them for her. I thought they were going to be gone forever. Thank you to the wonderful and helpful staff! Marriott will always my go to from now on!

    The only minor drawback was that during certain times, the on-site dining shifted to a buffet format rather than seated service. While I prefer a more curated dining experience, this was hardly an issue given the abundance of excellent restaurants just steps away. Overall, a seamless and relaxing stay in a prime location. I’d gladly return.

    My experience staying a week at Falls Church Marriott Fairview was excellent in every way. The room and hotel condition were both exceptional. The little restaurant in the lobby was perfect for getting my coffee every morning and parking was also very accessible. It’s close to everything including several wonderful restaurants.     I was up all night after someone just walked into my room with cables, which turns out was a worker at the Marriott. Afterwards another person was trying to get into my room. I put garbage can and bags front of the door to ensure that I can hear someone trying to get in while I was sleeping. Terrifying experience

    The reception was great. The room had a constant noise. I reported it and somebody came in and said everything was ok. But the same night the noise was there again. Clak clak noise during the night. So you can imagine we were always tired during the day. I was there for a convention.

    Es un hotel limpio pero muy antiguo, pienso que deben de empezar a ronavar lamparas, conectores de corriente ya que ningun en mi habitacion funcionaba, como solo estaria tres noches y realmente no estaba tiempo en el hotel pero para una persona que se quede todo el dia el hotel esta muy antiguo. El personal excelente y sobre todos las personas que hacian la habitacion muy eficientes, pero el hotel por sus condiciones no cumplio mis espectativas. Tambien para las personas que van como yo de turista a visitar el centro de la ciudad esta bastante lejos y los uber no bajan de 25 a 30 dolares. espero que esto sirva de ayuda a otros visitantes.

    It was a quick trip to check something out. When we arrived their computer system had crashed so it took a little while to check in. It wasn't to long. The room was very nice and big. The bed was very comfortable. I had a couple of things that I had an issues with. To use their internet you had to pay for it and they charged you for parking in their parking lot which is included in the price. As much money has one of their rooms cost you would think the internet would be free and why do you charge your customers to park in your parking lot. It made no sense to me. It was nice overall.
