The room was clean and spacious. Towels were refreshed everyday. Outside is a little older but the interior especially the rooms were super nice and recently renovated. Very impressed especially for the price!! Breakfast was great staff were helpful.

Proximity to stores was good. Staff was friendly. Lobby and breakfast seating need updating...lots of wear and tear. Many TV channels were not working. Overall, it was okay. It was somewhere to sleep after traveling D.C all day.

I’ve been coming to this hotel for over 5 years, it’s one of my favorites and the area has shopping, food, etc. very convenient.

The bed was comfy and the price was right. What, where, and when we needed it was right on time.

Two out of four exercise machines were broken. Spiders in the room and on the bed. There is no floor mat at the back door entrance. The tile floor was very slippery when entering from outside on a rainy day because the shoes were wet. I slipped and fell and hurt my knees. There was no wifi for two days.

The building is older but well maintained and the staff were incredibly kind, professional and helpful.

We have enjoyed almost all good things in this hotel during 3 days of stay including parking, breakfast and front desk service. We often stay at this whenever traveling to the Washington great metropolitan area for business and family vacation.

The breakfast was good, and the staff worked hard to keep everything stocked, although items occasionally ran out quickly because of the number of guests. There was also only one elevator shared by guests and employees, so wait times could be a little long at times. By the afternoon, the coffee pot and water station were usually empty as well. Aside from those minor inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again.

What made matters worse was the response from the front desk. When I called to report the issue, they acknowledged they were already aware of the problem but had not taken steps to fix it. I was also told there were no available rooms to move me to, leaving me stuck dealing with the constant disturbance. Overall, the lack of maintenance and unwillingness to provide a reasonable solution made for a frustrating and uncomfortable stay. I would not recommend this location until this issue is properly addressed.

Overall an ok hotel for our trip. Staff made us feel like we were a burden to them.

These were probably some of the most comfortable beds either of us have ever slept in. The room was spacious with ample lighting and outlets to charge our devices. The faucet was so far back that it was difficult to wash our hands. The toilets water would randomly start running at all hours of the day and night. The air conditioning seemed to stop working in the middle of the night and we would wake up to a very hot room. You couldn't unplug the alarm to turn off the light nor could you flip it upside down because of it's shape so you would have to cover it and end up taking up what limited night stand space you had.

Repairs would be good. Elevator is a little small.

Is not a nice as it looks online…we booked a king room with a sofa bed…no sheets or blankets for the bed was told up front there were 3 people staying in the room they made us come upfront to get the sheets and did not even give a blanket…had to go back upfront to get that… Also questioned why we needed extra pillows…stated there are 4 in the room…customer service was not good…front desk was run by a teenager…

The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was an actual hot and fresh breakfast. Very quiet. Cannot hear activity from the hall or other rooms. One simple comment was that there were no towel bars. We stayed 2 nights and would have reused our towels but there was nowhere to hang them. Overall a good place at a decent price.

Pros: Great location, easy to get to DC. Across from an outdoor shopping center, plenty of walkable food places. Super friendly staff. Cons: small parking lot (but at least it was free), lumpy pillows. Would book again if ever in the DC Arlington area.

I will spend time here whenever I am in DC. For many years I came to DC for whatever was need for me to show up. Rolling Thunder near 20 years and the protests of recent. This stay was the best ever. There has never been a time when everything was nice as it was staying here. The staff the cleanliness everything was perfect and this will be the place to stay from now on.

there were no surprises, the room was clean, breakfast was decent, i also appreciated that they have coffee in the lobby for 24h.

This is a great choice for northern Virginia, DC area driving commute. The property felt safe. The rooms were large and clean. The beds were big and comfortable, and there are blackout curtains, so we slept great. The shower was nice and hot, and the bathroom was spacious. The breakfast was served in a large dining room, and coffee was just fine. You will feel comfortable feeding your children breakfast here. The staff was welcoming, very prompt, and very friendly, and kept the property clean. The hotel was properly staffed with enough workers. If I had a hotel, I would want this staff. They were polite, careful, and considerate. There was ample parking (the Miami Rowing Club parked its tow truck of its shells returning south from Head of the Charles Regatta), and ample area to run our dog in the side parking lot. We even found a decent fair-priced emergency veterinarian for a small issue our dog developed during our stay. There were gas stations and restaurants nearby (of many different ethnicities, including American), and there was a Vietnamese Mall nearby. The hotel is along a major suburban thoroughfare. It was a decent driveable commute into Washington, DC.

From outside the hotel does not look impressive it is next to Mc.Donald's and the entrance road is kind of weird but the rooms are renovated, clean and comfortable. The location was convenient from the Capital One Arena.

Room was very clean and breakfast had a nice variety. The bed however was a bit firm for my liking but overall it was a clean, inexpensive option for our one night in the area.

Four or five nights a month I stay in a hotel. This was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever experienced and I tried both of them. The springs are shot and you go right to the hard base. These mattresses should’ve been recycled probably 4 to 5 years ago and the fact that they are still charging a customer and have certainly been told how bad the beds are his mind blowing. I talked to the front desk person who moved me to another room and both of those beds were exactly the same. She said she hears a complaint quite a bit.

I also requested a one-day extension three days in advance, which was confirmed. However, the day before my new checkout date, I got a call saying it was my last day. The front desk offered no solution and forced us to leave, ruining our plans for the day. Check-in and check-out were both a mess due to poor management and communication, although the hotel itself is in great condition.

Room wasn’t ready until 4pm, beds were hard, th receptionist kept texting on her phone while checking us in. Got woken up at 9am to house keeping knocking on the door asking if we were leaving so they could clean the room, when check out is at 1100.

It was great value close enough to the DC and the metro train station:west church falls. Which was useful when we attended the Brezzy Bowl concert at National Park. The staff was kind honest and helpful would stay there again.

We checked in late so we were greeted the same way I think most people get greeted when they check in late. Not super friendly but okay. The staff was great (house keeping- very friendly); the head breakfast lady made it very clear they were closed at 9:10 am as soon as I walked in to grab a bowl only and I had to explain myself. She may as well have said “please turn around and go back”. There’s a better way to say things vs-“excuse me; we are closed.” Since yogurts and oatmeal were there I should have been offered to feel welcome to grab some to go but no; “we are closed”. That’s all. I didn’t even want anything so it was presumptuous. I get your cleaning up, but don’t assume I’m coming to mess up your schedule. Otherwise, comfy room, very clean and comfy bed. Nice time for our pup too.

Housekeeping came every morning around 9 am. I have never stayed at a hotel where it was this early. There was no consideration that people were sleeping. Also the beds were terrible! My neck and back was hurting from the springs you could feel in the bed. The mattress are old and don’t have much cushion.

Everything was fine, but the hotel charges $100 pet deposit - totally understandable - AND $50/night to keep pets with you! If they had a designated pet area or something else to offer, perhaps - but to keep a pet with you and charge $50/night feels insulting.

We felt safe and confident that our room, bathroom, beds, desk and chairs are sanitized to safeguard our health. Breakfast was great and we appreciates the variety of food selection.

Additionally, there was a persistent noise coming from the toilet due to a malfunction inside the water tank, which caused water to continuously leak. I wanted to bring this to your attention in case it helps improve the experience for future guests. Thank you for your understanding.

I thought it ridiculous that they required a $100 deposit when they already have your credit card number. The bed was very comfortable and the location was good for seeing the sights.

Estabella (front desk clerk) was great and very accommodating. Family and friends were out of town for a funeral and saw that we all were on the same floor.

1- The WiFi was too weak 2-Tv has limited channels and all the time you will see poor signal!!3-Thestaff were very cold welcome to us 4-The coffee and hot water in reception almost was colder than hot water on bathroom 5-The breakfast was acceptable 6-When we arrived at 9 pm the parking looks unsafe because I saw 3 persons were there and used drags!! When I asked to reception they said Don’t worry if something happened we have cameras (I don’t understand that camera going to protect our staff??)????? Easy access right off the roads. Our key card stopped working and we had to go to the front desk twice to be able to access our room. Pillows are more of a throw size, so I would recommend bringing your own. Price was reasonable for the accommodations. If you just need a place to sleep, I would recommend it.

The beds were uncomfortable and it took a long time for the room to cool off. My room had a hole in the wall and stains. It made it not look clean.

Unfortunately, on the last night we had an issue with toilet. I contacted the front desk and was told that maintenance was available however they cold accommodate me by giving me a plunger. I had to plunge the toilet. Not what I had in mind to do after a long day. Hotel of this size should have maintenance on call. The staff was extremely friendly but that situation ruined the entire stay.

Least expensive hotel option in area. Older facility, but room was comfortable and an adequate breakfast was included in the price.

Elevator was out of service. Shower was lukewarm at best. I have stayed here several times before without these challenges but not sure I will risk it again.

The location was very convenient for shopping and restaurants. Very easy to walk. The most annoying thing was that the vent in the bathroom ran for 24 hours a day. The constant humming was pretty annoying. Though very clean, the hotel definitely was in need of repairs in many places. Regardless, you get a very comfortable bed, a nice breakfast, and a reasonable price.

Affordable lodging about 20 minutes from downtown DC. This is a no-frills motel, but it was clean and staff were friendly.

Great location as it’s close to DC. It’s 15-20 minutes away from most sightseeing places in and around DC. Morning breakfast was good with multiple options including some hot breakfast items. Neighborhood was excellent with McD, restaurants, Safeway, etcc was minutes away. This will be our go to location for future Dc Trip.

Convenient location and very reasonable price. Hotel is older, but room and bathroom were in good shape. The upholstery on the breakfast room chairs are worn out and need to be replaced. The trash can in breakfast room was full, and the lid was filthy dirty. The coffee was mediocre, at best. Would stay again because of price and room was in good shape.

The carpet in hallway was stained and had not been shampooed recently . The outside pool area closed due to season but pool cover was dirty and had dirt and trash in it . Only one light worked in the pool area. Understand it being closed due to cold weather . Understand that it was complementary breakfast but very limited choices and area poorly organized . Was informed a bus would pick us up and take us into Washington DC, after an hour wait we gave up and drove ourselves into the city . Very difficult to communicate with staff due to poor English on their behalf.

It’s an older hotel and needs some love. The elevator was broken, and the carpet needed cleaning. The bed was pretty good and the room was clean.

Good place

This has become our go to hotel when visiting family in the area. Its clean, well located, close to shopping restaurants and the Metro and the rooms had undergone a pretty significant renovation in recent years, so we think they are in great shape. Unfortunately on this visit, the elevator was out of service and we only found one working ice machine. So if you need an elevator, I would make sure you confirm its been repaired before making a reservation.

Elevator broken when we arrived and had to stay in room next to lobby where there was a lot of noise. Bedroom was clean and in good shape. Breakfast area old and tired with a lot of wear and tear, which we've experienced at other hotels in the DC area. Hotel met our overall expectations because of the lower rate we paid versus other alternatives.

Hotel is clean and comfortable. The only downsize was the elevator was not working during our entire trip.

I encountered an issue by being overcharged for early check in so the Manager next day told care of everything and I was very happy. Just one thing I think the pet fees are a bit too high for the place but overall I had a good experience. I will be back again

The room was confortable and had everything we needed. Place is well located with a lot of food options and stores around. Breakfast is included and it has variety of options. A great experience overall!

The breakfast was a normal breakfast. The wall are a little thin. I could hear the neighbor's TV all times of day.

My husband had read there was no hot water but me being the nice and gives the benefit of the doubt we tried it. In fact room 209 had warm water for maybe 5 min if that. He went and told the girl at the front oh the weather causes that! He laughed and was like that’s the first I’ve heard that one. She told him that’s what the manager was telling her to tell customers so that tells me others were complaining also. Don’t even get me started on the 2 inch pillow they had! My neck is in a bind from the hard uncomfortable pillow!!!

When I arrived the only parking was in the back of the building with no lights. Check-in the lady seems like I was distributing her conversation with friends in the lobby. Once I got my keys she pointed to her left said your room is that way and the elevator is broken! Ok great! The room was cold, it wasn’t warm until 24 hours later. The water was cold that too didn’t ever warm up. I share with the people at the front desk, they shrugged, like what do you want me to do about it. The breakfast was old and stale. I had an event to go to Friday, when I returned my keys didn’t work! Everything time I would leave and return I had to get my key fixed. My last night there, there was a couple in the hallway arguing and thumping against my door. I called the front desk no one picked up. I called a friend who was staying in another hotel to come get me. For your own peace of mind, stay away from this place all together. The photos do not match what you are going to walk into.
