My room was very comfortable. The location was perfect for me.

The location was perfect. I needed a late checkout and they were very accommodating. We ate lunch at the restaurant and it was delicious. The menu had many tasty options, it was hard to decide. As usual, the cookie was perfect!

Staff was so accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay feel like home. We ran into a food delivery issue with the local Papa John’s (never order pizza from there!) and because of the PJ issue the front desk attendant went out of his way to help.

Nothing No air conditioning. Room was 82 degrees with air set to cool. No other available rooms so my son had to miss his soccer tournament and we had to check out.

Before you unpack make sure A/C works, cable, lights, toilet, and phone all work. Also thoroughly inspect for cleanliness. Staff was nice relocating us to a remodeled room and allowing 1pm check out

Outdoor pool not open

I selected this hotel for it's restaurant/bar. I was there 3 days. The restaurant/bar was open 1 day. The outdoor pool was not open even though it is over Memorial Day.

I guess the location, it's directly across the street from the mall, and close to the expressway. This trip was booked for our wedding anniversary, and instead of a relaxing celebration, we spent our time dealing with safety concerns, billing issues, and inadequate communication from the front desk. The only staff member who demonstrated genuine care and professionalism was the Bar Manager, Hope, who listened attentively and offered a small gesture of goodwill

For those coming to Akron for Stan Hywet, Doubletree Fairlawn makes perfect sense as it is close. I came for an event downtown but was happy to stay in Fairlawn and used Lyft downtown and back down Market Street. Will stay here again next time I'm in town.

We went to Cuyahoga National Park and it was nice to stay somewhere close and loved restaurant in Hotel:)

Perfect choice for our weekend visit. Great location.

Staff was nice. Strong smell of paint in room. Took a day to clear out. Pillows were not comfortable.
