Very clean and staff were helpful. Could have more choices for breakfast. No bananas, lol.

Breakfast was so convenient and healthy and included in cost of room. The hotel staff was efficient and kind the hotel was quiet and clean and had everything we needed. Just a personal preference…. The beds were rather hard and the pillows were too thick. The air conditioner was rather loud and the air seemed too dry although I much prefer that than hot and humid.

The first two rooms we were given weren’t clean but the 3rd was good. The staff was excellent with resolving our issue. He showed that he cared and wanted to be sure that we were satisfied in the end.

All was very good, we had a very nice time. The room was clean and the staff polite and helpful.

The room was clean. The bathroom appeared updated with a walk-in shower. The hand lotion, shampoo, shower gel were all pumps. The beds were comfortable. There is a mini fridge that we had to turn on. It was never very cold. The breakfasts were as good as any place that offers this type of breakfast. They had English muffins, oatmeal, cereals, and some type of egg and meat...plus coffee and juice.

I suggest you purchase real toilet paper! the breakfast was disappointing. tried to find a piece of fruit that was not spoiled, failed!

Easy to access all highways from this hotel including the one on which hotel is located. Good food options and convenience store nearby. Good option for visiting Washington and vicinity although traffic can make for a longer drive (55 minutes instead of 30, for example) at some times.

Well, I had to be at INOVA hospital for cardiac surgery t 5:30am, couldn't eat for previous 24 hours, and just wanted to have a great night rest, I did, and close to the hospital in driving distance.

Bathroom had mold, the shower doors wouldn’t stay closed, shower water pressure almost nonexistent, and the breakfast was lackluster from previous Hampton inn stays. Would not recommend. Better options all around that area.

Staff were helpful, the room was clean, the breakfast was exactly what one expects from Hampton Inn, at the location for exploring northern Virginia was excellent.

There was NOTHING offered at the Hampton that I would ever eat for breakfast, so I walked next door to a Mexican restaurant where breakfast was delicious and served cheerfully. this Hampton Inn is a pretty good conversion from whatever it was. The lobby and room were nice and the beds were very comfortable — even the pillow I used was nice. The bathroom was small but adequate. The wallpaper is mis-cut and shoddy. Peeling off in many areas. Too bad, really.

Upon checking on Christmas evening, the front desk person (a very efficient and personable young man) saw my dad walking with a cane and immediately offered to change their room to a first floor level versus the original second floor room. I was very impressed and will use this Hampton Inn again.

The climate machine keep making weird cycle noises and clicked- not normal cycling more like it was short cycling almost like shorting out. I had to turn it off im the moddle of the night. Also the small refrigerator keep vibrating loudly. If I could have gotten to the plug would have unplugged that. Other than those 2 issues all was great.

General room. Bed had hair in it. Young man was new but was very willing to help us get a change of sheets as it was late. Then said his boss would make it right but never heard from anyone. We only wish it felt cleaner and safer around the outside

Our room was nice and big, loved that we were able to bring our dog along with us. The bed is a little hard and the pillows a little soft, but it’s an overall great value and a nice location.

We stayed here as part of a two week roadtrip, and this was one of five hotels we stayed in. By far the best, and one of the best we have ever stayed in. Very clean, very comfortable, working AC, quiet safe place. Would definitely stay again.

The manager who checked us in was very friendly, and it was, by FAR, the quickest check-in of the five hotels we stayed in on our road trip. Never can figure out why check-ins take so long if I book online, so we were relieved that our very last hotel stay was the easiest check-in. Thank you!

This property was very nice, clean and up to date. The area surrounding it included multiple food options. It was very easy to get a Uber. Staff was very nice. The hold for your credit card it only ten dollars a night ! If I ever come back to Fairfax VA, I will definitely stay here !

Property has been recently renovated and everything looks new. Staff was very helpful when we had a problem with Expedia. Breakfast was excellent. We will definitely stay here again when we visit the area

Had a nice stay with my family. We stayed from Thursday-monday. The room was nice. Breakfast was as expected. Pretty basic. The lady running the breakfast was incredible. Super nice and friendly. We loved everything especially our check-in experience. We were in a rush to get to a wedding. Because of traffic we were running late. However, the staff was very accommodating and we got into our room, dressed for the wedding and got there on time. Kudos to them! The hotel was also perfect! We definitely recommend!

The Hampton Inn Fairfax City was probably one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in recently. Very clean, friendly and attentive staff, super comfortable bed. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the food service staff were so helpful and kind. The only issue I had with the hotel was, one of the elevators was out of service when I arrived and wasn’t repaired until the next morning. The second elevator was out of order early in the morning when I needed to leave briefly so I had to take the stairs from the fifth floor, but by the time I returned in about an hour the elevators were both working again. Otherwise, it was an amazing stay and I would highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel is well located - far enough from the hustle and bustle of Washington and yet still convenient to a lot of different dining and shopping options. A welcome refuge after a long hot day walking the National Mall!

It's a beautiful hotel on a major state highway, but in a suburban setting. It's the perfect location for people visiting George Mason University. It's not far from DC as well. You really can't go wrong with Hampton Inn.
