Archer Hotel Falls Church

Clean, great location in Mosaic District for easy access to stores and restaurants. Parking right next door for $10 per night. Right near metro station for access to DC. We really enjoyed this property.

Standard hotel, but better than know chains.

Check in was pleasant and room very clean, but only had 1 piece of candy for my wife and me to share. The breakfast selection was very good, but most of the tables were dirty.

This hotel is perfectly located near plenty of restaurants and shopping centers, which made everything convenient during our stay. I especially enjoyed the tea cafe right next door. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was decent enough to get you by each morning. The hotel itself was clean, nicely decorated, and had enough space for my small family to move around comfortably.

Our only complaint was that our room was next to the hotel condenser. The noise from that was terrible at night.

The location is so convenient. It was easy to find parking for my rental car and get in/out of the neighborhood. Also, I didn't need to drive very often because so many stores are within walking distance. Bonus points for so many great restaurant choices in the area!

We always enjoyed our stay at the Archer. Their properties are well maintained, clean and safe, and the staff is super friendly and helpful.

It was an 80 degree day. We checked in around midnight. Set the thermostat for 65. The temperature on thermostat never dropped below 72 when we checked out at 12 noon. = to one very loooong sleepless night. Staff were mostly friendly. But they are very restricted on what they can help on. Don’t expect much. Definitely highly not recommended for families with young kids or elders. Notified staff on issues mentioned above. A fan was given to us. But see above for results. No ice on your level either. Signs were also missing. No sign on how to get to laundry after you arrive on the 7th floor. Decor was at doubletree level. The availability of amendments was designed so that you use as little as possible. A very stingy property.

This is a nice hotel with great walkability to shopping and restaurants in the Mosaic District. Parking is a little inconvenient (across the street) as there is very limited space to pull up and unload luggage, especially with the large trash bin taking up one side. Breakfast is minimal - but there's a breakfast/pastry/coffee place next door. One can tell that this hotel is pet friendly...they really need to invest the pet fees on shampooing carpets.

Excellent location in Mosaic a family friendly location with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. We liked how you could walk around the district - all pedestrianised. It was clean and safe, I spent a couple of night there on my own and felt very comfortable walking around and having dinner by myself. We also walked 10 minutes up to Dunn Loring metro station (day and evening) for a 20 minute ride into Washington DC. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, modern, well cared for and very comfortable. A nice touch with the daily chocolate/ fortune cookie treats too! I needed to extend my stay and the staff were very accommodating despite it being a busy Easter period. Nothing - everything was great!

One of the few hotels with free breakfast had several vegetarian options. Staff was extraordinarily helpful

Everything was good, except for a few things. The fire alarm went on early in the morning, so I had to leave my room. I found it odd that all the buildings in the neighbourhood was connected to the same alarm system. If one alarm went on, all the buildings were alarmed, which was really strange. The breakfast was also just okay, nothing special. And the parking lot was not in the hotel building just cross the street and the price was not included

It’s a lovely property in the booming Mosaic District. There’s some pretense at “boutique style hotel” and while some elements are present (frette bathrobes, slippers, nice linens, Fiji water), finesse is missing (light switches, textured walls). Honestly, the property looks like it’s been nicely refitted, not built anew in 2022. Parking is $10 across the street, which was super convenient. Breakfast is very blah but it keeps you for a couple of hours. The great part is the abundance of food options just outside including Le Pain Quotidien.

Edison in particular when above and beyond to make sure my stay was everything I needed it to be. I’ll definitely be looking for other archer hotels when I travel for business and personal.

Our room was nice and clean . . . However, our room was not ready for us to check-in, which was bit frustrating . . . The front desk was pleasant. The restaurant was underwhelming at best. When I raised my concerns, instead of helping, staff minimized my complaints and implied that I was lying — which was deeply disrespectful and humiliating. I have requested the security footage to show that no one helped me, as I was fully on my own. Being treated this way, especially while traveling with my child, was unacceptable. I would not return.

I stayed at Archer for seven nights while my husband had major heart surgery at Inova. I was kept very comfortable there. They offer a very nice included breakfast, rooms are clean and quiet and bed is comfortable. Their staff is very friendly and helpful. It was comforting to know at the end of each day, my cozy room was waiting for me to rest.

What a surprisingly lovely hotel! I had lived in the area before so knew it was there. But had no idea how stylish and chic it was, with beautiful rooms, fabulous bath products, and great location in a wonderful little enclave called Mosaic District with a wide range of restaurants and great shopping. Its a wee bit out of the way of DC attractions and not exactly in Tysons, so you may want to rent a car. Parking is only $10 per night. It’s just a lovely hotel.

The room was simply beautiful. They treated our little dog like he was a king. He had his own very special welcoming package along with us. We had a special welcome package as well. The staff was warm, friendly, professional, and engaged. It’s a great hotel in an excellent spot and very hip.

The hotel is in a great location with parking a few steps away. Staff is polite and very welcoming. The hotel is beautiful and we had the most awesome suite with a chandelier and full kitchen. I cant wait to go back to the Archer!

The front desk was amazing. His name is Edson, and does an outstanding job! Our room was clean, and lovely. From the salted caramel, and complementary water I was impressed. My only complaints was that our room had a sewer smell from the bathroom. The stay was so nice though it didn't bother us that much.

We had a great overnight stay for my daughter’s birthday. Mary was so friendly checking us in! The room was spacious and clean.

Nothing from yesterdays visit. Staff who checked me in at night had terrible attitude, staff i called in the morning after there false fire alarm went off, called to confirm if its a drill or real alarm, she had absolutely disgusting attitude. Asked for coffee, they had housekeeping but she insisted “ you have to come downstairs”, when every week I stay, they always send coffee or whatever asked for through housekeeping. Coffee machine was also broken apparently, not satisfied at all! See above.

The staff was great and the location was fantastic. The room was clean and nice. The daily treats were much appreciated. The only thing I might say would be that the doors seemed thin. Any noise in the hallway was easily heard. Outside of that, a great stay.

This is my new favorite hotel in NOVA! I had just a wonderful stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone. The Mosaic Neighborhood is full of places to eat, shop and unwind.

We loved it so much that we actually ended up booking an extra night, just so we could keep enjoying the space and extend that newlywed glow a little longer. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and it was clear they genuinely wanted our stay to be special. We’re already talking about coming back for anniversaries because the experience was that amazing. If you’re looking for a place that feels luxurious, intimate, and memorable, this hotel is truly worth it. We’re so grateful we chose it for such an important moment in our lives.

We come to NoVa to visit a family member. The Archer is by far the best hotel we've stayed at in the area. It's worth the extra $40 or $50 per night versus competitors. Parking is directly across the street in a parking garage. The room is spacious and clean. Breakfast has fresh fruit, breads, muffins, hit oatmeal, hard boiled eggs and other items. Staff is friendly and professional. Great location in the Mosaic District with shopping and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Highly recommend.

The property and surrounding areas were great. So much to do and so many places to go for food.

Hotel staff went out of their way to make sure our room included a roll-in shower so that my son could finally get a shower before his major knee surgery tomorrow. The suite is amazing with everything you could ever need. You need a room key to get up to the guestrooms so you know you are safe. And everything is soooo conveniently close. It's like living in the city but without the crowds. Awesome stay. Thank you, Archer Hotel Staff!

This was located in the Mosaic District- very clean, nice, convenient, Metro is 4 minutes away with car -where you can park and take the metro into D.C. if you don't want to drive there. Has a cafe next door, parking garage is in front of the hotel, and has alot of stores and restaurants around that are walkable distances. Hotel gives more than a 3 star feel- which is amazing, it was clean, I had a 1 King room, had a sofa that turns into a sofa bed, had a full size refrigerator/freezer, kitchen with nespresso machine, it is roomy, modern, and staff were very nice, I will definitely be staying at this hotel again.

This was my first stay and I loved every minute. Conveniently located for shopping, eating and the interstate. The front desk staff was awesome always a smile and willingness to assist. We will definitely be back before the year ends.

Very nice hotel. The rooms are spacious and include a kitchen and couch. Bathroom area was great. The design in the room was good. Didn't feel like I was staying in a hotel at all. The only disappointment was the continental breakfast. It was cold. For the price of the rooms, i fully expected a nice hot breakfast.

It’s a great place to stay. I would give them 5 stars if they informed us about parking cost and breakfast info at check in. The room facing the road was loud. It needs better sound proofing. The shower wasn’t as clean as other hotels in the same caliber we stayed previously. It was a comfortable stay overall. We would stay there again.

Stayed at Archer Hotel Fairfax last month. Great location in the Mosaic District with restaurants and shops close by. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly. I’d definitely stay here again.

My wife was bitten by bed bugs in a few separate clusters. Rashes appeared right after lunch after spending the night, and had to go to the doctor as soon as we got back.

We loved the property! It was updated, clean, and very well maintained. The location was excellent, with plenty of walkable spots nearby that were perfect for families with young kids.

Amazing property

We are local but we love this hotel. When we were married 12 years ago, we booked a room block and our family loved staying at the hotel. We decided to stay overnight because it was my husband's birthday and our master bathroom is being redone. Our room was beautiful, quiet, clean, and luxurious. It was such a treat!

Nice modern feel and the bar has good sauce (Blantons). Beds feel amazing to sleep in and sleep in *wink. Everyone was friendly from staff to other vacants . 2 complains that caused me to give 4 instead of 5 stars and 1 of them is me nitpicking… don’t like that the elevator only moves when you swipe your keycard, and also, the complimentary breakfast was mid. Boiled eggs, oats, fruits, muffins. All healthy choices but I wouldn’t mind running into an omelette or waffle. Highly recommend visiting though. It’s a vibe ju heard?

Excellent value (visiting a hospital nearby) and walkable to all things Mosaic. Highly recommend if you want eats without jumping in the car. Parking was handy and never too full. My only suggestion for the hotel is work towards replacing shower head with detachable wand. Women need more flexibility in their shower routine.

Overall great stay. Hotel was great and I could walk for food or whatever I needed.

They also waived my penalty for mistakenly booking the wrong date.

This was my second stay at The Archer, and once again it was fantastic! The bed feels like a cloud, the pillows are perfect, and the town atmosphere is so fun! The hotel staff are friendly and knowledgable. Mosaic shopping area has so many great options for eating, shopping, and entertainment. GREAT TRIP!!

This was our first time at the Archer Hotel and I could not have been happier. Room was comfortable with all the amenities and more! Enjoyed the Nespresso coffee in the room anf the Lather products used in the bathroom. Would go back again.

Easy check in. Parking in garage immediately across the street. Very clean. Walkable shopping and restaurant area in "Mosaic District." Breakfast was very good-- fresh fruit, breads, coffee, tea, boiled eggs, musli, oatmeal.

Was a grate place and great area

Every staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed, and the breakfast was wonderful. Very inexpensive parking rate was a plus. The room had a strange odor probably left by previous guests. The bed was on a softer side and was not comfortable for my spouse and me, who love firm mattresses.

The hotel was beautiful. I enjoyed the customer service. The room was lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable. I especially liked that they had an espresso machine in the room for my use.

Great location and very nice hotel and amenities

A pleasant, comfortable room with a full sized refrigerator and kitchenette for a reasonable price with complementary breakfast and easy, inexpensive self parking in a vibrant suburban shopping and entertainment district. Very polite staff and we appreciated the two bottles of complementary Fiji bottled water.

Our second time staying there and it’s definitely our go-to place in Fairfax now. Love the location in Mosaic and the rooms are clean and well-appointed. Parking also very easy and free!

This hotel is wonderful! I will try to only stay here when I’m in the area. I highly recommend it for families as well.

Unfortunately the last two times I’ve stayed here housekeeping has been abysmal. The final straw was returning to my hotel after working all day to find that the housekeepers had blocked my door open (for no telling how long) leaving my personal items available to any passerby. And I found kids running in the hallway near my room as I approached. I kept the do not disturb sign on for the remainder of my stay and opted out of housekeeping. Choosing to get my own fresh towels etc Yes I spoke with a manager and they kindly took off one night of the bill. But I no longer feel safe leaving my belongings in this hotel while I’m away at work. Gaining back trust is much harder than just giving a free nights stay. I’ll stay at their sister hotels instead for now - even at a higher rate - as I do like the amenities and rooms. Oh well. Live and learn

Lovely hotel in a great location. However, we were disappointed with the hotel on this occasion. The threshold carpet leading into the bathroom was poorly installed and my wife punctured her foot on a carpet tack strip poking up through the carpet. I felt carefully following the incident and noticed several sharp tacks poking through that should not have been difficult to detect. Upon sharing this with the front desk, I received an apology and free $10 parking. I was told management would likely contact me, but they never did. The experience left my wife uncomfortable and me disappointed with the Archer.

I always try to stay at the Archer if there's availability. It's conveniently located in the Mosaic for great restaurants and shopping, very close to Tysons and Fair Oaks malls and the Fairfax Corner shopping district, and has metro access to downtown DC. The hotel restaurant is also very good and the beds are so comfortable!

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was fresh, simple, and satisfying. We stayed in a suite with a kitchen that was well-stocked with everything we needed. The room was clean, and parking was conveniently located just across the street. The bartender was lovely and made us feel right at home. Best of all, the price was significantly lower than other nearby hotels- many of which offered less. We’d definitely recommend this place and would happily stay again!

The weather was so hot, we just wished the hotel had a pool.

Great location! The room/suite was nice but not quiet - the storage room was right next to me, and you can easily hear people in the hallway. That’s the only thing I didn’t like. My previous experiences at Archer in Tyson’s was spectacular- very quiet rooms. I would stay here again, but ask for a quieter section if available. Thank you!

I loveddddd this hotel! I stayed here for my birthday and it just felt like a luxury experience. The staff was king and one of the front desk clerks even took my pictures for me. The hotel is beautiful and stays clean. I’ve highly recommended this hotel since my stay.

The parking. We had to argue with event parking attendants for over 30 mins and poor Lloyd had to come out in the heat to clear up with the event folks that we were allowed to park in upper levels for the hotel being we paid $10. It was very disorganized.

The location was perfect for us! It is near many restaurants and shops and also within walking distance to the people we were visiting. Our room was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space. I wish the free breakfast had a few more hot options (like eggs and possibly a meat like bacon or sausage). What was offered was very good - bagels, fresh fruit, yogurt.

Excellent Service, Accomodations, and Perks; I do not know if it is possible these days to find a ‘perfect’ staff, given the nature of things ; ) Perhaps needs even a little tighter ‘floor sec’, but it is designed brilliantly.

We stayed here for two nights to attend an event in DC and the hotel was beautiful. It was close to a metro station so it was a win for us. The hotel breakfast was delicious with lots of healty choices. I would definitely stay here again just to explore the shopping district around them.

My wife and I are moving and needed a hotel for a couple of days to unwind. The Archer was perfect for our needs!

The location is perfect - in the middle of the Mosaic District with a huge variety of dining options and shopping. A very cool area with lots to do. My nights sleep was perfect - the bed and pillows were super comfortable - so much so I overslept!! Was granted a slightly late check out (thank you!) and the actual check out was equally smooth. Definitely would recommend the Archer!

The decor is very upscale and contemporary. Everything is clean and well polished! The rooms look exactly as they are viewed in the pictures online. Everything you need is available in the suites. The continental breakfast is perfect. Just enough fresh fruit and breads with some options for protein. The tea service and coffee set up are also perfect. The beds, although a bit low are very comfortable with perfect pillows and down comforters. The sheets are exquisite. The rooms are only accessible by hotel card, which gives you a nice sense of safety. Guest services were extremely accommodating and very, very sweet. I would 100% recommend this hotel. Although I’m kind of scared to recommend it because I know once people hear about it the prices will probably go up. Excellent day at excellent property.
