Reviews

Many guests found the rooms small and outdated, with some reporting issues such as broken fixtures, dirty bathrooms, and uncomfortable beds.
- Convenient location
- Friendly staff
- Cleanliness issues
- Noise from traffic and other guests

Convenient right off the freeway Smelled bad outside my room. The shared door to the next room was left unlocked ( I didn’t think to check it) and neighbor opened door a 10:00pm. Paid $220 (granted it was last minute) for a room that should have been $100 or less. Would not return.
- 2/5
Room wasn't clean. I spoke to the night clerk for 2 nights in the row about have bugs and mosquitoes in my room. One actual told me that I couldn't move at night because house keepers were not there to clean the room so they could rent it. Thry were more worried about my health and safety. Also room door was messed up
- 1/5
Pretty gross in general. Would not stay there again. I don’t know how it compares to other motel6 properties.
- 2/5
The service was great, the people there were very helpful in navigating me and assisting with issues I had. Unfortunately it was overall poorly maintained and quite dirty, I understand the price but it simply was unacceptable and had to wipe down the place myself. I did not expect lavish I simply just wanted a clean place when I arrived.
- 3/5
It was one night, not bad for a Motel 6. Great location, near a 24 hour Denny,s and a nice gas station convenience store. Stairs, musty but clean. By the byway so it was really loud in the morning.
- 4/5
Everything needs a good cleaning outside. Dirt and cigarette butts everywhere. Room to small for 2 beds. Bed up against a/c and other bed against the wall.
- 5/5
.
- 2/5
It was somewhat clean. They had parking. There is a Denny's restaurant next door. They didn't have the room we booked. Showers are tiny. The people next store were loud .
- 2.5/5
Locations Could have had a better set up
- 1/5
You personally have to keep reconnecting their smart TV to their internet, and the wifi service is a joke. Drops if you are at the end of the building. The pool was filthy, and cold. the second day we went there were no pool towels where there had been the day before. We were told we couldn't charge our car even though there are no signs or policies saying you can't charge your electric vehicle, then they lied and said there was a charger available next door. There is not. The last night at 1am we were awaken to some random druggie/possible guest, banging on our door talking about hearing a crying baby. Hotel staff did nothing. Freaked us out we checked out a day early. Lastly.... FLEAS!!!!!! I personally killed 3 fleas. And my husband was bit all over his ankles and legs. Disgusting.

Room had everything I needed. Bed was comfortable. Traffic noise is loud from the road nearby. The room smelt like smoke.

Very poor
- 1/5
Horrible experience. The grounds are full of cigarette butts, stains and filth. The non-smoking room reeked of smoke. The highway noise kept us up all night. The kicker was leaving hanging valuables in the bathroom, calling within 24 hours and then being hung up on by the front desk clerk telling me they don't have them and don't leave stuff behind the next time. Very rude, unhelpful, and lack of care for their guests. Do not recommend.

Although the rooms are basic and need to be deep cleaned, and there are no refrigerator or microwave in any of the rooms that I was in. But the friendly and much accommodating staff makes up for the above mentioned.
- 5/5
We had a problem with our original booked room however, the swing-shift staff man was able to accommodate us. Spoke with manager in the morning and she was wonderful and understanding. Overall, we had a good experience we walked across the parking lot and had dinner at Denny’s and received a 10% discount for staying next-door which was nice.

L’hôtel était correct comme on pouvait s’y attendre. On entend l’autoroute mais c’est normal vu l’emplacement de l’hôtel. La personne à l’accueil était très à l’écoute
- 3/5
The room was clean and the air conditioning worked. The coffee was okay.
- 5/5
Ac was a lil wonky but nothing that was a inconvenience had a good sleep experience
- 5/5
Great place to stay when on a budget. Always get a clean room. Like getting a room with a frig. Make sure to bring your own soap and shampoo.
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfortable
- 5/5
The man who checked us in sorry can't remember his name but he had a lot of tattoos lol anyhow he was amazing and so helpful
- 3/5
As expected of a Motel 6. This one felt particularly shabby. Room smelled like cigarette smoke. I could hear “everything” in the next room. The communal microwave was a mess. Lights in the room were white LED, so the room was particularly dingy at night. But it did the trick for what I needed. A place to sleep while I attended a sport event solo.
- 5/5
Stay here to have a peaceful stay 💎☀️
- 3/5
Rooms were ok for a night. Linens were dingy rooms were mostly clean.
- 3/5
Convenient place to stay if you are tired and need a bed to sleep. Bed was super uncomfortable.
- 2/5
Book a room with a refrigerator and microwave. They upgraded it supposedly, but had no refrigerator no microwave in the room
- 3/5
Room small beds not comfortable
- 5/5
Been staying there for the last 3 months during the week and everything is great.
- 5/5
The staff at this location is one of a kind. Theyre helpful ,courteous, and first and forenost theyre accomodating most of all...special thanks to suszie at this location she is extra special
- 2/5
Our room was dirty! Hair in the shower and all over the sink counter.
- 2/5
Rooms were okay outside was not clean
- 5/5
Clean Room , Freindly Staff
- 1/5
Stayed one night to get some sleep on a long drive. Room had an overpowering pet smell, we had to change rooms. Barely made a difference. Furniture all seemed old. I’d only stay here out or necessity, not choice.
- 5/5
All Motel6 should strive for the standard set here, few do
- 2/5
The air conditioning smelled like cigarettes.
- 1/5
The staff were highly unprofessional. They tried to kick me out because I asked for a refund because they put me in a different room type than what I paid for. Bri was argumentative in front of my child.
- 1/5
My fiancé was accused of being a prostitute while staying there as I was paying for her stay while she's visiting our daughter. So yet the review is horrible. They accused her of being a prostitute because they think she had too much foot traffic. And it was only her grandfather and her stepdad, showing up and a few the food order of being delivered to her.So, yes, I rate this as a horrible hotel, with a horrible people running that management
- 5/5
The staff was professional, friendly and accommodating. The management, Sussie and Bri were excellent!! I would recommend this motel 6 to anyone. It was clean and well kept. Thank you for everything that you made my stay so enjoyable 😊
- 1/5
Would not stay here again staff rude and slander guesss
- 4/5
Everything was OK - a/c was good.
- 1/5
Extremely LOUD from the freeway. Sounded like the door was open. This location is literally on the side of the freeway and there is no noise insulation. Neighbors doing drugs, yelling, slamming doors, people prowling the parking lot at all hours. Facilities are super dated and bed is squeaky and beat up. Would never recommend this motel
- 1/5
The sheets on the bed were completely stained and filthy. Manager on duty said I would be compensated with a future free stay but this was not honored when I called the guest relations. When I followed up with the Manager she denied saying this and only offered a discount on a future stay. Hotels.com was only willing to provide a refund for this booking if the Motel agreed and of course they did not. This was a horrible experience and the people I spoke to were not honorable in their dealing with the matter. DO NOT give yourself the headache and stay here.
- 4/5
The price was right! Everything else was do able, food next door, freeway so close! The staff knows this isn’t the Hilton, and they are very helpful! The place needs a facelift, new pillows, maybe beds. The toilets have a weird flush system that requires some learning. For 50$ it was great!!
- 1/5
The bathroom was dirty before we gor there. There waa hair all over in the shower. There was no bath tub like the website says there is. The bed was hard, i felt like i was sleeping on a sheet of plywood.
- 3/5
Drunks outside our room. Police, ambulance and fire department (more noise) the the drunks were allowed to stay. More noise for another hour. Sleep 0....
- 4/5
Clean room, Amazing staff
- 1/5
The room was dirty I had to clean it upon arriving. The toilet didn't work. They didn't come check if we needed towels or anybody the 2nd day we were there.
- 5/5
Clean room, great staff
- 4/5
It was cool. Affordable price. Staff is friendly.
- 1/5
I DID NOT STAY BECAUSE THE CLERK DID NOT ALLOW MY ID WHICH WAS EXPIRED -
- 5/5
The shower curtain needed bleach or replaced
- 1/5
I have stayed in a lot of cheap motels before but none if them smelled quite as bad as this one. I don't know if it was just one room or the whole property. It smelled like extreme body odor covered up by a sickly sweet lemon air freshener. It was so strong that sometimes I would just have to step outside to get away from the smell. There were also people fighting in the parking lot at night by the dumpsters and a lot of yelling from the other rooms in the middle of the night. The staff seemed very professional but I didn't interact with them much.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 1/5
Yes to both
- 5/5
Very helpful staff. Susie and Bri were especially professional. room very clean.
- 5/5
clean and comfortable bed.
- 2/5
Got to motel and office door had a sign that said, be back in 5 minutes. Not a big deal. Someone who was behind the counter, watching the place while the staff was gone, opened the door and let us in. He asked if we called and made a reservation a moment ago. I said I didn’t and that I booked our room through Expedia a week prior. He was difficult to understand and he didn’t understand what I was telling him. He looked confused and shuffled papers around at the desk and handed over 2 key cards . I thought it was weird because he didn’t get my name, my id, a form of payment or my vehicle. We sorta brushed it off and thought he was just high because he looked rough (meth). Got to the room and unloaded our things. Was getting ready to leave for a few hours when the hotel staff stopped us at our room door and said we were given the wrong room, which we already knew. another tip off, the room didn’t have a microwave which I specifically reserved a room with one. I don’t know why microwaves and coffee pots are not standard in every room? Anyways, got to the new room with the microwave but no coffee pot. Very disappointed. We unpacked again which was making us late for other plans we had. When we were leaving, we noticed that the first guy that “checked us in” was cleaning rooms. He was a housekeeper. I should also mention that when we checked in, it was after 4pm and housekeepers were still cleaning rooms.shower curtain short so bathroom floods after showers.
- 4/5
Biggest issue was not enough parking, and the door was smaller than the frame so a clear opening all the way around the door so cold air got in. I was also very stuffy only I the room, fine before I got there and after. But easily could have been something that I have an u known allergy too. Only 2 very flat pillows to sleep on. Everything else was fine.
- 2/5
The next day, the partial roll of toilet paper was used up. I called the front desk and asked for more. A man told me people usually go to the office and pick it up themselves. He told me the place wasnt a full service motel. He said he would send someome down to my room with it. No one ever showed. I went to the store and bought some. It appears that some of the motel is being used as a half-way house for people released from prison.
- 2/5
Cons: dirty room, bathroom (black, crumbling grout between floor tiles, hair on floor, mold between bottom shower tiles), hair on bedsheets, walls and door jams need a wipe down, smoke detector hanging from the wall by two wires.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing.
- 4/5
yes
- 5/5
Staff was friendly. Hotel was as expected. Would stay again.
- 1/5
Didn't get the chance to stay went to check in and they said I was on the DNR list becuz they found drugs in the room which was impossible. It was not mine and under neath the bed in the room was totally disgusting so I'm guessing they finally cleaned underneath the bed and found someone else's stash but it was not mine or my husband's. I should have taken a picture of how dirty it was under the bed but I forgot to upon leaving. But I think it's extremely rude to assume it was ours . So they put us on the DNR list. Ps. Clean under the beds more often and don't blame innocent people for what u find once u do clean.
- 5/5
Spotless room . Staff very helpful, especially Susie, a manager. Good variety in vending machines. Quiet.
- 5/5
The room was spotless!!!
- 3/5
Staff was great, room was fine. Kind of disturbing that several men were outside making so much noise at 1am!
- 4/5
Yes, very good
- 3/5
Quiet and easy to access. A couple spots were missed for cleanliness. Overall comfortable.
- 3/5
it was good but the walls are SUPER thin, and people bring prostitutes in the middle of the night. the bed nextdoor started banging against my wall in the middle of the night and I could hear moaning, and when I called the front desk to ask them to contact the people it still didn't stop for another two hours or so
- 3/5
Actually the tv didn’t work, no hot water in the morning & the toilet wouldn’t flush properly
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Plus you get a discount at Denny's just for staying 👌😉
- 5/5
Great experience.
- 2/5
Room was neglected. Staff was excellent.
- 5/5
Good service
- 3/5
Just needed a room for the night.
- 4/5
Nice room not updated not the best location but staff was nice it wasn't crawling with cops very peaceful. Loved the fact there wasn't a cop driving through every 2 mins
- 1/5
Very dirty!
- 3/5
I have stayed here several times. This time, I had a terrible first night. Someone's dog was barking in the room next door, and I didn't get any sleeps at all. At least they got it right the 2nd nightA
- 4/5
I got some much needed rest thank you again.
- 4/5
Good price , next to freeway , next to Denny’s 👍
- 4/5
The staff were great!
- 5/5
It was very convenient and comfy
- 5/5
Great staff
- 4/5
Thank you
- 1/5
The room was filthy! Bed only had 1 blanket and the cover sheet smelled like dirty feet. I requested a non smoking room and I could smell the old nicotine in the room. Bathroom had only 1 set of towels no 2. No soap or shampoo for the shower and I had to go down and beg for another set of towels. I was told they had runout!!
- 1/5
After driving 6+ hours to see out first ducks game it would have been nice to relax comfortably. Enstead there was only a small table with hard school like chairs so no relaxing there and the bed was hard as a rock. Room felt like we were in a small box, day staff great and very helpful. Night staff however was very rude, acted like we were a bother asking for assistance as the ice machine was not working,” rolled her eyes at my husband when finally coming to the window replied rudely “ oh well” and walked off “. She was a total B—— and has no business in customer service!! Not a good image for your place I’d recommend you fire her hid knows we aren’t the only ones she was completely rude and unprofessional to I’m sure
- 4/5
Everyone has been really nice.
- 3/5
Heater was loud, I unplugged it, neighbors dog barked until 2am, ice machine was broken and no alternatives
- 4/5
Tv didnt work , someone stole our delivery food , bathroom fan didnt work but it was 45$ a night so for the price it was good
- 4/5
The room was clean everything worked so I honestly had zero complaints, the staff was super friendly and nice
- 3/5
Staff was great, but the rooms are so loud. The road noise was insane.
- 5/5
Great clean place
- 5/5
Heat was effective. Cable is great. Room was well-lit and pleasant.
- 4/5
Stayed here a few days after my last stay and unfortunately had a much worse experience! The first room wasn't cleaned at all (beds unmade, pillows on the counters, kitty litter everywhere) and the second room had a dirty shower and the TV didn't work. Bummer! But I will say, for the price, I'd probably risk it again. As you can see from my two stays, very hit and miss.
- 5/5
👏 👍
- 1/5
my room never got clean in 8 days and ants everywere
- 5/5
I had an extremely nice stay here. There was definitely some mold in the bathroom, but it was extremely clean otherwise. Just a fantastic bargain stay if you’re interested in that. It seems very safe for the price and location. Very well lit. Staff was helpful. Comfortable beds. The Wi-Fi wasn’t the greatest in the TV was a little messed up but again you really just can’t beat the value.
- 3/5
You have to leave the TV on because if you don’t, you gotta go to home Servys, so they can come and put it back where you need to put it. Air conditioner was not so Good heater was not so good. They did not do housekeeping
- 5/5
Very convenient off the freeway and access to downtown Eugene. Nice room and clean. Staff is great, friendly and helpful. 👍
- 3/5
The staff was very nice and the room seemed clean. However: There were flies outside that got into my room. The area was noisy and there was a gap between the door and the door frame that let in light, flies and noise, and made it feel less safe. The blanket smelled like someone had sprayed perfume on it. There was prior damage to the walls and door frames.
- 5/5
It was a nice place to stay and it was close to Dennys which the food wss great
- 5/5
Was ok
- 5/5
Staff were kind hearted and very helpful.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and the clerk that checked me in was very friendly. I really appreciate the comfortable bed.
- 4/5
Perfect place for short stay. Very clean
- 2/5
There were gnats and bugs in the room the floor was sticky....very unpleasant and uncomfortable
- 4/5
Clean room, quiet and easy access to freeway.
- 3/5
Check-in staff very nice
- 3/5
Alright
- 2/5
Property was not clean and felt like a low budget hourly motel. Would not recommend this property to anyone!!
- 5/5
Easy to locate. Simple, but adequate for a quick stop.
- 1/5
Room was not ready at check in, dirty room with stains on the walls. Very noisy area
- 4/5
Good value for a safe and clean lodging.
- 2/5
Bed bugs! Multiple bites. Ugh!
- 5/5
I called and asked if they have microwave and fridge in the room I reserved? The answer was yes. When I checked in there’s none. I am asking for honesty.
- 5/5
Well kept grounds for my pups, front desk staff person very helpful, super convenient location.
- 2/5
The bed was not comfortable and one side was jammed next to a wall, which made it difficult to get up for the sleeper on that side. The bathroom air vent was very noisy and the make-up light over the sink didn't turn on. At least one ant got on our bed, but perhaps it was brought in by our two bichon frises after we walked them on the grounds. The reception was terse and the tattoos and attitude of the receptionist was not very appealing. Nearly all the rest of the guests seemed to be cigarette addicts and were often standing in their doorways puffing away and polluting the air. The room was bare, but what would one expect for its low price. For someone on a very tight budget, it is clean and worth the low price for a night's sleep, but we won't return.
- 5/5
We made a last minute decision to get a room for the night on our way back home. We left this place feeling so well rested and comfortable. We were greeted and felt very welcomed with positivity. Will definitely stay here again
- 4/5
the staff was friendily
- 2/5
Our room was dirty and was infested with ants. My in laws room had blood on the blankets and fecal matter up the wall.
- 2/5
Pretty run down place
- 5/5
Excellent value.
- 2/5
The room they put us in smelled cigarettes all over. The place is decent for the price just inconsiderate guests stay here. I hope the hotel track down who smoke in the room and put into the list.
- 5/5
Had to cance double booked at motel 6 north
- 3/5
Pool! Was dirty but still refreshing
- 3/5
It was okay
- 4/5
I would stay there again on the back side
- 3/5
Good location, close to U of O.
- 2/5
We booked a non smoking room, but there was very strong cigarette smell. The AC had a burnt smell. I had to leave the room's door ajar for fresh air.
- 3/5
Cramped for a walker or wheelchair. Very basic room. Smaii bed. Cheap linens and blankets. Inexpensive and ok for a quick overnight stop.
- 5/5
Staff is friendly and it’s a great place to lie your head down for the night after a concert
- 4/5
Got a discount at Denny’s next door with stay
- 1/5
I didn’t even stay. I asked on the phone to check in early as I work nights I needed a place to stay in the morning. The person at the front desk said yes no problem. When I arrived at the property the person at the front desk said she had nothing available and I couldn’t check in.
- 1/5
Too noisy. Like sleeping in the middle of the highway
- 2/5
There was blood on the pillowcases and the walls
- 1/5
Front desk staff on check in was nice. But it went downhill from there. When we got in the room and shut the door, it wouldn’t close completely. No amount of pulling would get it to close fully so we didn’t feel entirely safe at night. When we sat down on the bed, we noticed a stain coming through. The sheets hadn’t been changed from the people in front of us and the sheets smelled strongly of pee and body odor. When we called, they said we would get new sheets and they were never brought out. There were strange people lurking outside at all hours. I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all. It’s way too expensive.
- 1/5
The walkways are very dirty not well kept; the beddings are stained looks dirty ; the walls and doors need repair
- 5/5
The staff went above and beyond to help us. They were all polite and very respectful and helpful. We recommend this motel.
- 4/5
We were near a highway, which obviously can't be helped. Otherwise, a great stay. Motel 6 does the job!
- 4/5
Good place to stay to get out of town for cheap
- 4/5
It was what i expected for the price no seating in smoking section
- 3/5
But. Other guest service staff refused to schedule me for housekeeping next day when I made the schedule request late at night. But told me they were doing it. Threw out notes I left for morning manager asking for housekeeping and stuff even though I gave her a tip. They refused to check on people making noise in the parking lot, partying until 2:30am. Then later I got yelled at by an unfamiliar management person when trying to explain my situation from that morning. Instead of normal communication it seems like we’ve resigned to “we won’t interact.” If I stay here anymore I’ll know I have to bring my own bedding. And ear plugs. It’s not as safe as it used to be. Just because guest service staff are not as responsible about the property.
- 1/5
They refuse to get people to stop partying in the parking lot after midnight. Even when I paid her to enforce the rules. I had to call the police instead. this place used to be wonderful, and now it just plainly sucks because of the coordination management.
- 4/5
Was fine. Staff were friendly.
- 4/5
Front desk was great, room was clean and well-appointed, but the freeway was very loud. Would stay here again but with earplugs.
- 1/5
The pool is permanently closed. No microwave or fridge
- 3/5
Staff was attentive though and there’s a Denny’s right next week door that serves good food at reasonable prices. Bring your earplugs if you stay here for a good nights rest is my advice!
- 2/5
Towels and washcloth were very cheap and flimsy. The pool was broken.
- 2/5
We stayed here last year. Room was immaculant. This one smells bad. And part of the reason we booked again was the beautiful outdoor pool. It is out of order. Desk guy was very accomdating.
- 3/5
Price was great. Bed was very comfortable but noisy. No dust or dirt on the floor. Free wifi. LG brand tv worked but had bright spots from age. Shower curtain track was broken in several places. The air in the room had a bad odor. That being said, would i return? Yes. I'll bring a can of air freshner.
- 5/5
You’ve had me review this place a million times now. I don’t know what gets said. Their property is old but very well maintained. It’s very clean. Bits are crooked from age but everything you could hope for is perfectly functional. And kept far cleaner than any other motel I’ve been at. And their staff is nicer.
- 5/5
Well run cheap motel. The maintenance guy tries hard.
- 2/5
TV did not work and nobody answered the reception phone to help. Room very clean but no fridge.
- 5/5
Bree is a great assistant manager.
- 1/5
my bedsheets were dirty with dirt and grass etc in the bed
- 4/5
Stay was good. Bit of road noise from I-5 and floor was a bit dirty but otherwise all good.
- 2/5
It’s very rundown and seems put together by tape. Big gaps on the doors and smells very musty.
- 2/5
Just about everything on site needed a good coat of paint and a solid clean. The bathroom exhaust fan and light did not work at all, so you had to shower in the dark with the bathroom door open. There was no weather stripping on the door, so light leaked in, along with all the noise of Highway 5. The floor felt sticky, and the bed was beyond dead. Motel 6 is an economy brand. This property went well past economy into highway robbery. This location's dynamic pricing increases the price during periods when there is a lot going on at the University of Oregon. At the low end of the demand price range, $105/night is still expensive for what you get. When they charge $250/night during high-demand periods, the desk clerks are embarrassed. Just mentioning the bathroom light issue was an automatic 10% discount without even a request. Stay here as a last resort unless you are used to locations where you would normally pay by the hour.
- 3/5
Everything we needed except for hot water, wi-fi and TV.
- 2/5
This motel was built in the early 1960’s . Very little has been done to update the property. Small rooms, old and terrible beds, bad plumbing, and a structure that is crumbling and should be closed for safety concerns. The Dennys next door is the only plus for convenience. It’s old too but useful.
- 2/5
Our room smelled so badly of cigarette smoke. It was very small & cramped. Wry expensive for what you get
- 1/5
Requested nonsmoking room. Was given a room that reeked of smoke. The management was very accommodating about the situation and refunded us. However, our next door neighbor began screaming at 9:00 and did not stop.
- 1/5
Was told there was a room. Booked through Expedia and then the same lady said there wasn't a room and had to wait for my refund.
- 2/5
The place was a dump. Worst motel 6 I have stayed at. It was dirty, reeking of cold cigarettes, noisy. Very dirty outside spaces. Room did not feel clean.
- 2/5
My second floor room had ants filing in through the window, huge gaps between the door and the threshold itself, and smelled like someone had done a poor job at febreezing stale cigarette smell. I may be odd in hating fleece blankets, but here we are. The only other blanket on the bed was a top sheet so that’s all I had for the night. It was almost good that the AC didn’t work because at least I wouldn’t be cold. I did not feel safe at all and was so happy to get out of there in the morning. Definitely will avoid in the future.
- 4/5
Location very convenient
- 5/5
Some of the toilets have a stupid injector function instead of a normal flush and it overflows on its own sometimes.

Everything was fine, a very basic motel. Bed didn't feel that stable, just felt every move. I guess every motel in the area is expensive on a weekend.

excellent

Check in had to be moved out a half hour because of house keeping being behind. Absolutely no sleep the first night. surrounded by druggies and hookers. Morning staff tried to cover the problems. If not for the clientele it probably would have been acceptable

Lights in bathroom not working. Noisy fan. Homeless environment

First time I did not end up staying at a place I reserved. Do not stay here. 1) room was not ready upon arrival at 7 pm 2) many long term guests hanging out outside. Property felt very unsafe. Positive thing is that I was given a refund for my reservation.

Great

This hotel is awful. My friend is dying in the ICU and they would not give me a refund. I wasn't even able to check-in. Terrible customer service. DO NOT STAY HERE.
- 5/5
Been here a bunch of times. It’s the best you can expect from a motel. The people are less crazy because it’s more expensive and slightly better maintained. The white haired maintenance guy does a heck of a lot of cleaning.
- 5/5
It was fine but there was a tobacco smell in the room that we didn’t like. I had difficulty getting the tv on and the light bulb was burned out in the light by my bed. However the man at the desk, Ben I think, came to our room and handled both the tv and the light. I also missed a hook on the back of the bathroom door (there wasn’t one). Otherwise all was fine and the service was excellent.

Run down. Building is falling apart. Bed springs poke through. Noisy tweakers staying in other rooms.

We have no problem staying here! It's walking distance to Denny's, air-conditioning is working great! it's accessible to everything.

I’m still staying here intermittently. This is a review for / by a diagnosed disabled obsessive compulsive disorder person. So my scrutiny is a little extreme. But I’m giving a thumbs up. The south motel 6 is a different type of place than the north motel 6. They have the same manager but motel 6 north is the problem child. If you have OCD about noise/cleanliness/safety, you should go to motel 6 south. The higher price is worth it just because of parking lot cleanliness. I checked both my rooms that I’ve stayed in at motel 6 south with a UV light. I know you shouldn’t at any motel. But I can’t help myself. I can attest I found mostly “normal living” UV wall stains like sneeze spatter stains, hand washing splash stains, toilet splash stains. Nothing coming up on UV on the furniture. Nothing coming up on UV for the light switches. Minimal UV stains in the shower like people wash off who knows what. But seemingly little to nothing “gross” showing on UV anywhere except around the toilet. Where you would reasonably expect to find gross UV stains. OCD person thumbs up. 👍

Our stay was quiet at night so we got good sleep but by early morning there was a large group of shady people creating noise out front. Conveniently located next to Denny’s and a gas station with a large convenience store. Management was nice and polite.

Better than last stay. Could pressure wash the stairs and balconies more often.

Room smelled disgusting. The refrigerator was leaking water. Hairs on the bed

Bree saved me a huge hassle and kept me in the same room when the Expedia system tried switching me. Everyone was satisfactory as host employees. But Bree & Victoria deserve a shout out. This place is cleaner and better maintained than you would expect. I feel lucky to have stayed here. Not all Motel 6 are this clean and courteous. Don’t go to the north Eugene motel 6, the slight increase in price is very worth it.

And Bree fixed my booking without even being asked. She saw a problem on the books and solved it. I don’t find any poop around the outside here. It’s pretty clean. The rooms are also really clean and comfortable by comparison. Their rooms amenities reflect what’s really there. No “your room doesn’t actually have a microwave or fridge” when you arrive. North Eugene motel 6, the other one, is way different. It’s gross. Their staff are rude and they hate everyone. South Eugene motel 6, this one, is far superior.

I travel for business often. Don’t stay here. It is right on I5 and the road noise is bad all of the time.

But the people at the front desk are awesome

Victoria, and long haired night dude are especially great. His name was like Brad, or Brayden, Brandon, Bryce, Bruce, Biff, Ben. Or maybe not a B name at all. I’d live here if I could. Not joking. It’s that nice.

it’s in a bad location very noisy no where to walk my dog

It was a horrible experience room was not clean like we were told given certificate for one night free at a different hotel tv didn’t work no AC overall was a terrible experience

Cons: Homeless people and drug users around the property. Vent in bathroom shares ducts with other rooms. Our room was overwhelmed by the scent of marijuana on several occasions.

Wouldn't stay in any place that low on the score board.

I al look love when there is a restaurant and gas station next door. This property is next door to a DENNY's. And a gas station is next to that..

No hot water, reeked like cigarettes

Motel was very clean and had everything I needed. Location was good -- a 24 hour diner was next door and a convenience store was within walking distance. A good value.

Quick and easy reservation

It was very noisy being so close to the freeway
- 2/5
Shower temperature was barely lukewarm at maximum - the temperature differential was so small the mirror in bathroom would never fog up. NO microwave or refrigerator. Bed had excellent mattress, the only plus. Themperature when set to 78 degrees never came close to that around bed or bathroom.

Stairs were not all in working order. They had pot smokers in a room next-door to us and we’re doing nothing about it. Overall noisy from highway noise.

I like the 24 hour Denny's next door option for food.
