Idyllic getaway in a rustic yet luxurious setting. Beth was a wonderful host—and chef—and amenities were top notch. Great proximity to area wineries, although the drive from the gate was a bit rutted and narrow. Great experience overall!

This place is magical. A scenic 30 minute drive from Eugene, it’s so peaceful, well done. Host is amazing. A joy to be here.
- 5/5
Beutiful peaceful surroundings in a custom built B&B that has a rich history. Built from the very trees you are surrounded by. The craftsmanship alone is worth the stay. The owners go above and beyond to keep it clean, beautiful and inviting. Its high end meets cozy. Perfect for nature lovers.
- 5/5
Lovely B&B with a kind and engaging host.
- 5/5
As my five year old daughter put it, "I give it 10 hundred stars"
- 5/5
The owner and host bath greeted us upon our arrival which was unique Pleasant hard to find those three words apply to everything that we saw this bed and breakfast among others like amazing perfect I don't even know where to there's a map of the USA on the wall and there's hundreds of pins literally hundreds and notes all over the wall from people just gushing like I'm about to okay hands down it's the nicest place I've ever stayed...period...ever....built by Beth's husband lovingly built sculpted incredible property made from wouldrepurposed from the property and it is so incredible that the pictures do not do it justice they couldn't there's just a feel about this place it just feels right even if you don't have anything to do in the area just go there to stay and then report back here that I was absolutely right I miss Beth throws down the best breakfast you're going to have ever see what I'm saying I'm gushing thank gosh about this I must thank you Miss Beck you
- 5/5
This is a spectacular bed & breakfast, perhaps the nicest I have ever stayed in. From the moment of arrival, we were made to feel welcome and the inn itself is gorgeous. Outstanding wineries are within a 10 minute drive and the breakfasts provided are wonderful. A very unique and romantic place. Highly recommended!
- 4/5
It is a nice log home. But I hope the headboard has some sort of stopper to prevent the pillow keep falling over.
- 5/5
Wow. We had absolutely no idea what to expect, and this still exceeded our expectations. The room was stunning, with a beautiful patio. The location is unreal, and you are surrounded by trees and wildlife. Breakfast was phenomenal. We will be back.
- 5/5
Lanzarotta Bed and Breakfast is a lovely, secluded, upscale, restful oasis. Beth and Mark created this special bed and breakfast with all sorts of beautiful woodwork and special touches. Beth is an excellent hostess and made me feel very welcome. Her breakfast was delicious. Travelers should note that the B&B is located about 10 miles out of town. Best to drive to Creswell and then on to the inn. Exit 162 might be shorter, but it was a windy road and had road construction. Unless you book dinner reservations at the local winery, get dinner in town before driving to the B&B or bring a picnic lunch to eat on the beautiful patio.
- 5/5
The best!!!!!
- 5/5
Beth, the owner/host made us feel special and cherished. The property is enchanting and the stay was incredible. I will stay here again and recommend it to everyone I know. This place is a beautiful gem off the beaten path that is truly special.
- 5/5
Make sure you have a gate code before you get there! We TMobile users didn't have service at the bottom of the hill. Cannot recommend this place enough!!
- 5/5
This house and rooms are magical and the huge back patio with hand-made furniture is enchanting. I haven't relaxed so much in a long time. The bed and accommodations were very comfortable and elegant. Beth is a wonderful, warm person and made a wonderful breakfast for us. It was an amazing visit and I'm sure we will return.
- 5/5
The Yew Room is rustic in design and spacious. Very tastefully appointed and has all high end amenities. The hosts were more than accommodating for our late arrival. Highly recommend staying here!!
- 5/5
This property and the host are amazing. There is so much attention to detail. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, quiet, and spotless. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. We only spent one night here, but would definitely like to return when we’re back in the area.
- 5/5
This B&B was fabulous. Beth (owner) was a wonderful lady and set with us during breakfast and told us the story of thd B&B.
- 5/5
We stayed in the upstairs Yew room, it has a very comfortable King bed and a nice shower with dual shower heads! Such a treat staying in the woods and waking up to the birds chirping. The breakfast was really good, and the host is very nice. Highly recommend this hidden paradise
- 5/5
A truly unique place run by especially caring hosts. The Yew Suite is just incredible - feeling as if you are in a treehouse surrounded by all the amenities you could want. Every little intricacy is well thought out and we continued to be amazed by the details throughout our stay.
- 5/5
Very friendly and thoughtful inn keepers. The property is gorgeous log home and my stay was very comfortable. The breakfast (pecan french toast casserole, potatoes and bacon) were DELICIOUS! I look forward to my next stay with them again.
- 5/5
really nice, first class all the way! would return, in fact we already plan to.
- 5/5
Very friendly and accessible owners. Private and quiet stay. Comfortable bed and bedding. Beautiful forest views as far as you can see. Excellent breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer.
- 5/5
Stayed in the "Yew" room and everything about the property was top notch. Amazing craftsmanship went into this building and it's worth a stay just to enjoy the magnificent ambiance both inside (quiet and peaceful) and out (with wall-to-wall views). Only thing better than the 5-star room is the friendliness and hospitality of the hosts, Mark and Beth. Awesome breakfasts as well! Certainly worth the drive.
- 5/5
My daughter and I stayed one night last week, and words cannot describe what a special place Beth and Mark have created here. They have thought of every detail to make your stay positively wonderful. Both food and rooms were fabulous, and i felt as if we were leaving friends after only staying a night. I hope we have the opportunity to return!
- 5/5
Absolutely loved our stay! Wish we had planned more time to stay at Lanzarotta. Mark and Beth were wonderful hosts. Mark’s breakfast was delicious and they gave us helpful tips for the rest of our trip. The place is beautiful and has a very tranquil atmosphere. It is a bit out of the way, but we’ll worth the drive. Highly recommended.
- 5/5
Thr building and room was great, in a pretty, quite location. Excellent breakfast. It was about 30 minutes to Eugene.
- 5/5
We had a great time since both the place and the host were great.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and very accomodating. Easy to find with the provided directions. Very relaxing and remote, but easy to get to Eugene if you want. Breakfast supplied is WONDERFUL. We would definitely come back here again!! Hands down a great place to stay.
- 5/5
Definitely off the beaten path. I have stayed in many places and the room was so meticulously clean! Cleanest b&b room I have ever stayed in. Owners were great and helpful. Would stay again with more time to enjoy the scenery. We stayed in the Douglas fir room which is perfect for those with lots of luggage as there is easy access.
- 5/5
Recently had my 4th stay at Lanzarottas and the experience remains consistently delightful. The facility is impeccably maintained and Beth and Mark are the most pleasant of hosts.
- 5/5
What a beautiful establishment ♥️😃👌! It’s off the beaten path, but well worth it!!
- 5/5
This place is amazing!!! I would definitely recommend the yew room for a romantic getaway and the breakfast is to die for. Worth every penny!!
- 5/5
Wonderful bed and breakfast in the woods. Peaceful hiking trails. Very nice hosts and tasty breakfast. Beautiful wood designs in all the furnishings. We will stay there again!
- 5/5
There is nothing bad to say about this off the beaten path BnB. Beth and Mark were such interesting hosts. We loved sitting on the patio learning about Mark's amazing 9 lives. Beth brought us a carafe of ice water on our arrival. The house itself is beautiful handcrafted woodwork at it's best. The entire place was VERY clean. We stayed in the Douglas Fir room which had a ceiling fan, a floor fan, and a small frig. The 2 french doors open completely with screens, so we had wonderful fresh air all night. Breakfast was baked pecan french toast by Beth and spicy seasoned potatoes and bacon cooked by culinary school wonder Mark. We look forward to staying again when we need to travel to Eugene.
- 5/5
It was beautiful there! Very clean and the people were so nice! Will be going again!!
- 5/5
It's our first B&B! but it's the best!!! The room is old fashioned. so cool!!
- 5/5
Mark and Beth are so amazing! This place is so beautiful and the breakfast was so outstanding! Would definitely recommend to anyone
- 5/5
Wow...lovely, unique B&B deep in the woods. Wonderful hosts. Great breakfast. We look forward to coming back!
- 5/5
This place is amazing. Very tranquil and extremely accommodating
- 5/5
You should visit Eugene just to stay at the Lanzarotta Bed & Breakfast. The owners built this place themselves, and the craftsmanship of the work is brilliant. We could see why people would live here. Highly recommend their B & B. Beth and Mark were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was fabulous, and Beth gave us the best recommendation for a late lunch at the King Estate. Loved!
- 5/5
We stayed at Lanzarotta during a weekend trip to enjoy Alesong and the wine country. Our room felt like a log cabin, tucked in the woods along a beautifully winding private drive. The hosts we very friendly, breakfast was an amazing treat of sweet and savory, the guests felt welcome to mingle at the breakfast table for hours, AND we were sent home with their abundance of farm-fresh eggs. It felt like a visit with old friends, we will definitely return.
- 5/5
Beautiful location, rooms are absolutely amazing, very friendly people and a outstanding breakfast. Highly recommend staying here. We will defiantly be back for another stay!
- 5/5
Just had a delightful 2-night stay at the Lanzarotta Bed and Breakfast. Beth and Mark are the perfect hosts. The location is so unique and peaceful and the accommodations had EVERYTHING one would ever need. AND THE BREAKFASTS are not only delicious but enough to keep you full the whole day! We cannot thank Beth and Mark enough for their gracious hospitality! Can't wait for a return visit.
- 4/5
Stay was great. Mark and Beth are amazing hosts!!! Beautiful setting.
- 5/5
We loved everything about our stay at Lanzarotta Bed and Breakfast except the fat that we could not stay longer to enjoy it!
- 5/5
Absolutely the best B B we've stayed in. Mark and Beth are completely charming and you feel genuinely at home. The Yew room is simply remarkable. It's a hand made masterpiece made from timber sawn on the property. There is so much detail in the wood work. The porch surrounds three sides and the view of the trees and hills with the sun streaming through is unforgetable. You can see the huge stars at night through the ceiling windows at the foot of the comfy king sized bed. The room is completely modern in terms of utility...full kitchen, spacious, well appointed bathroom with a walking in shower with double shower nozzles. The estate is very near to three or four excellent wineries and there is plenty to do and see in Cottage Grove (bridges, cycling) and Eugene (farmers market etc.). In addition you're about an hours drive to the coast (Florence and the dunes). We cannot speak highly enough of the stay, the property, the hosts and the room. 10 out of 10.

Sincerely, DeAnna & Joseph Sutton

It is the perfect place to stay in the South Oregon wine country. This is the second year we stayed here and we will return again when we visit in the area. The house is spectacularly crafted and surrounded by beautiful trees. We feel instantly relaxed the minute we stepped in. Owners Beth and Mark are so warm and helpful, and their breakfast is always delicious. You can feel the love and passion they put into this property. It's truly a shangri-la in the woods!
- 5/5
My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Mark and Beth did a wonderful job accommodating our needs as we arrived late, my wife is vegan and gluten free, and I am sensitive to eggs. They were extremely kind and friendly. The setting is beautiful and the Yew room obviously had no expenses spared. We will be back again!
- 4/5
Hosts were very welcoming, sharing the history of their B&B, location and their background. Breakfast was terrific!
- 5/5
We could stay only one night, but our stay at the Lanzarotta Bed & Breakfast near Eugene was restful and memorable! The beautiful home is set far back from the road amidst tall Douglas Fir trees. The home was constructed by Mark himself, and he even sawed the local timber in his own private sawmill on site! Although constructed of massive rough-sawn timber, the interior has been finished to a high degree of luxury. The proprietors, Mark and Beth prepare a wonderful breakfast, and were very accommodating to my wifes vegan requirements. The property is close to several wineries, as well as to the Cascade Raptor Center, which is a must-see attraction if you are in the area! Highly recommended! Tom M.
- 5/5
The room was so great and comfortable. Country living, roosters in the morning, birds singing throughout the day and crickets in the evenings. So serene with great views of the forest looking out the windows or sitting on the deck in a rocking chair enjoying coffee plus fresh air. Absolutely loved it
- 5/5
Our group of 5 had been staying in hotels all week so this was a great break. The B&B was in a unique setting and the owners were very easy to get to know. I liked the small size where we could have all three rooms. I would recommend this place to anyone. As a bonus, visit and dine at King Estate.
- 4/5
The room was very clean. The outdoor space was perfect to enjoy a glass of wine and a snack. The hosts were wonderful and a delight to talk to., The breakfast was very delicious and made with local ingredients.
- 5/5
Stay here. You will be glad you did!
- 5/5
This place is absolutely fantastic! The rooms where built with artistic attention to detail and the precision of an architect. They are absolutely beautiful. Mark and Beth are a warm, wonderful couple that provide a delicious breakfast and fun, interesting conversation. The location couldn't better, just south of Eugene and right in the middle of the Willimette wine country. You're surrounded by vineyards such as King Estates and Noble Estates. Nestled in the woods on 100s of acres, the calming silence of the country side and the brilliant stars in the night sky completely reguvenated our core. I really can't say enough about this place. If you're staying in the area, don't miss an opportunity to stay at Lanzoratta BnB.

Yew suite a real treat. Carefully appointed. Creative attention to details. Natural. Welcoming and unobtrusive hosts. Mark and Beth have created something special.
- 5/5
Mark and Beth are the perfect hosts, and they really made me feel at home in their dream B&B in the woods that they very impressively built by hand. I needed a restful getaway for a few days that would be a quick drive to town, and I found it here. (It's about a half-hour from Eugene.) A peaceful setting, great hospitality, and terrific home-cooked meals. I highly recommended this place.
- 5/5
An idyllic setting, incredibly well appointed as well as managed.
- 4/5
My daughter and I stayed here at the end of June. A bit removed from the city of Eugene, but lovely. We stayed in the Yew suite which I highly recommend. Ample room, very clean, and felt like you were on vacation far away from everything. Marc provided delicious breakfasts and was a wonderful host. We most certainly would return. Something nice about sitting on the upper deck in the morning sipping coffee while listening to the roosters crow. Clean air, and very close to the vineyards.
- 4/5
Wonderful!!
- 4/5
Our hosts Beth and Mark were very kind, courteous and professional. From the friendly greeting, to excellent directions to a great breakfast. They more than exceeded our expectations!
- 5/5
trust me, this Bed and Breakfast is fabulous. We stayed at the beginning of our trip and at the end.If you like to see myriads of birds, forested trees, great breakfasts and a 10 minute drive to King Estate wineries for tasting, lunch and dinner look no further. We stayed in the Yew room and would highly recommend it. The hosts,Mark and Beth are ever so gracious and will accommodate your needs.
- 4/5
We loved staying at Lanzarotta. The best part was the hospitality of our host Mark, who was very hospitable and friendly. He cooked an excellent breakfast every morning. The bedroom was very comfortable and quiet. The area is remote and wooded, exactly what you would expect outside of downtown Eugene. We would be happy to stay there again.
- 4/5
Inn keepers were very accommodating, relaxed.
- 5/5
Mark and Beth have created a little slice of utopia near Eugene and it's amazing wineries. My wife and I had the Yew Suite which was a great place for our relatives and son and his wife to gather from their down stairs rooms. Our bed was amazingly comfortable. My sister in law was pleasantly surprised to have a water bed in their room (the cedar room) - it brought back memories from their younger days. The breakfast's over three days were very good from the scramble the first day which included eggs and sausage from their own animals to some amazing waffles on our last day. The highlight of the breakfasts are Mark's potatoes...they are amazing! Mark and Beth are great friendly hosts that surprised us with cake and ice cream for our daughter in laws 25th birthday. We can't wait to schedule another visit
