Reviews
The hotel receives mixed reviews with guests appreciating the cleanliness, friendly staff, and convenient location, but expressing dissatisfaction with maintenance issues and parking. Refunds were eventually processed after initial delays.
- Cleanliness
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Maintenance issues (e.g., broken ice machines, elevators, shower handles)
- Limited and narrow parking

I liked it all. Very professional and friendly staff, very clean well appointed room, relaxing pool and hot tub and a special parking space for veterans.
- 4/5
The room was clean, the breakfast was decent, the staff was nice, and I didn't have to go to the lobby to pick up my food delivery like the last place I went to
- 5/5
Great!

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful, rooms clean and adequate. I would definitely stay again.

Very good amenities. Good breakfasts.
- 2.5/5
Beds were comfortable, and the hotel location and view The George was broken. The hook in the bathroom fell apart. The condition of the hotel in general is run down.
- 4/5
Large rooms, comfortable bed, standard breakfast. Would be nice to have a free bottle of water in the room. Very convenient location.
- 5/5
Very dog Friday
- 5/5
We stopped here for a quick overnight on a long drive up I5. We specifically were looking forward to a relaxing hot tub after 13 hours in the car. Happily, both the hot tub and pool are open 24 hours. It was also perfect to be able to have breakfast here before embarking on the last 6 hours of our drive. Room was perfectly clean, bed was comfortable. 👍
- 3/5
The breakfast was nice The photographs were creatively taken to look nicer than the location was. The hotel backs up to a car lot and a cyclone fenced park with many homeless. The rooms were very basic and the bedding was bare bones.

There is a trail behind the hotel. Mellisa, staff was rude.
- 5/5
It's a great place to stay right by the park. No food within walking and much to my 4 year olds dismay no streaming service like Netflix
- 3.5/5
Close to Hayward Field Lots of ants in the kitchenette area

Breakfast was cold, no WiFi/TV connection in our room.

Pretty good breakfast! The pool is open 24/7! Room was very clean and they even have a little snack bar!
- 4/5
Despite the area not being very good, this hotel was above what we were expecting. The pool was open 24 hours. The rooms were well maintained and the beds comfy.
- 5/5
The location was great, next to the University of Oregon, the Willamette River, Alton Park, not too far a walking distance to the train station. The room was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The free fresh baked cookies served during the evening doesn't hurt! 😁
- 4/5
The rooms are spacious and clean. We liked the breakfast but could have used more food choices than offered. I am not a big fan of the indoor pool and spa. The water was murky and the pool room was very musty.
- 4.5/5
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel worked great with our 2 kids, with a beautiful park across the street, pool, and free breakfast. The rooms were very comfortable.

Close proximity to my business needs. The air flow in the room was low. Needs more variety of breakfast choices.

Stayed 5 nights. Comfortable and clean room. Parking spaces are very tight and no overflow parking around. We were always able to find a spot, but wife had to get out before I pulled into the spot and then I had to squeeze out the car door. We have stayed here before and we will stay here again.
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and had what you need; microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Breakfast was typical of most motels. Having sugar free syrup for the waffles was very nice but the selection of fruit, when available, was not very good.
- 5/5
The only thing is the garbage out front was full and smelt like dog poo. Other then that WONDERFUL STAY
- 5/5
The hotel was very nice! What a beautiful setting along the water! It was very clean. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful! So many choices! I would definitely recommend this to all my family and friends!
- 5/5
This is my second time at this location. My review is verbatim for both stays. Front desk is casual and friendly. I have arrived, fortunately, right at Hot Cookie Time! There is a beverage station to get hydrated with coffee and such as well. The room is always tidy, super clean sheets and pillows, 24-hour pool and jet tub spa. Luckily, I have had the place to myself both visits (after 10pm) and been able to do aquatic yoga for a long enough time to be sore the next morning. Continental breakfast is far better than most hotels. The eggs leave something to be desired, but go for the waffles and fresh bananas and assorted yogurts. Apple and OJ, coffees, tea, sometimes biscuits and gravy. Always oatmeal, cereal, granola, and sausage or bacon. My dog likes the sausage. She's not allowed in the cafeteria, and they close precisely at 10am -- so don't straggle! Overall - this La Quinta is the best bang for your buck. Quiet, lovely walk alongside the river, close proximity to PF Changs and Autzen Stadium. And say hi to Sati (Sah-tee) at the front desk. A very pleasant front desk gal with a very friendly smile :)
- 2/5
When we entered our room it smelled of mold. It later turned out to be the air conditioner but the smell stuck with the room. We also lost about 50 bucks in groceries as the fridge did not work properly and everything was pretty much at room temp when we checked it in the morning. The bathroom door hook was also broken and the piece was just sitting on the counter. The tissues and toilet paper were just about, no paper towels, no dishes (suite) or cups and utensils. We did find some popcorn and a pair of prescription glasses that were broken. Also not recently dusted and around the door handles and windows were dirty.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay. Made another reservation to stay again.
- 3/5
The room was clean but had a weird smell. The hot tub was dirty, someone else's hair floating around kept sticking to me. There were no towels in the pool area, even after I went out and asked for some. The breakfastt room was over 80 degrees, too hot and stuffy.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great!
- 5/5
Close to everything we did
- 5/5
Clean rooms, comfy beds, and great location.
- 5/5
Clean comfortable well stocked spacious room. Good breakfast. Overall a good place to stay in Eugene. Quack Quack 😄

- 5/5
The breakfast was good. I did not use the pool facilities so can’t comment on those. The surrounding area is very nice being right next to a park and a lake.
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Our room was amazing. The girl that worked there in the morning was amazing if I ever stay anywhere in Eugene, it will be here.
- 5/5
Great location. Clean room. Good breakfast.
- 5/5
Very clean Friendly staff Excellent breakfast
- 5/5
My dog loved the view of trees with squirrels climbing up and down!😂
- 4/5
Beautiful park
- 5/5
Loved proximity to park and river to walk dog, enjoy nature. So peaceful! Breakfast was fine, the usual.
- 5/5
This property was right alongside the most serene setting of a manicureed park by the river. We saw geese and little goslings, blue herring and ducks as we meandered along the paths.
- 3/5
Our room was not clean. There was blood on the carpet and on the wall.
- 5/5
Pool was great breakfast was good. But had some little black ants crawling around my room
- 5/5
We couldn't ask for a better experience. We're between housing and actively looking with two dogs. Your staff welcomed them with open arms just as they did us and that was a stress relief.
- 5/5
Great location near the bike path and river, but also super easy to get downtown and close to lots of restaurants and grocery stores.
- 3/5
The room was great & staff was friendly. The only complaint that I have is that the walls are very thin. I was woken up earlier than I planned because there was a baby crying in the next room over and we could hear it very clearly through the wall.
- 4/5
Spacious room, nice breakfast, friendly staff
- 4/5
Clean room. Easy check in. Decent breakfast. 24hr pool and jacuzzi is a huge plus
- 5/5
Clean rooms, comfy beds, awesome 24/7 amenities, friendly front desk! Will stay here again!
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful with making sure I had all the disability access I needed.
- 4/5
It was nice being able to use the hot tube all day and night, and rhe breakfast was great. I highly recommend this place, and i will definitely be staying there again
- 5/5
Breakfast was great. Taxi picked me up and took me to the airport
- 5/5
Hot tub & swimming pool were open 24 hours and were clean and relaxing 😌
- 5/5
Check in was amazing. Front desk gentleman offered an upgrade. Cookies in the evening was a special treat. Pool was a little cold. Hot tub was nice and relaxing. Very quiet hallways at night. Clean inside and out. All staff we encountered were very nice.
- 4/5
bed was super comfy, room was very nice!

- 4/5
We enjoyed the breakfast and using the pool and the hot tub. Great value and convenient location.
- 5/5
Everything was excellent. Great staff clean and comfortable!!!
- 4/5
Great breakfast
- 5/5
Perfect spot for a one night stay in town. Staff were so friendly and welcoming! Love the historic track and field decor. Clean rooms, quiet halls, decent free breakfast. Would stay here again for sure.
- 2/5
The location was convenient. The outside and lobby looked nice. The pool and hot tub were nice. However the room smelled as if there had been a wet dog inside the fridge was not cleaned out. There was leftover food from previous people that stayed on the room. I had asked the front desk if it the room was animal friendly and they stated the hotel is animal friendly and they do not control if an animal were in the room or not. I probably would not come back due to the smell of the room.
- 4/5
Room was clean and good for my wife and I. Being seniors I would have appreciated grab bars in the tub/shower. Hot tub and pool nice. Breakfast was also good for us
- 5/5
Nice and quiet area next to a beautiful park.
- 5/5
Very clean property and room, the staff was very helpful.
- 5/5
Clean and spacious room. Hot tub was a good temperature, bed was comfortable. Good views of the river. Would stay again.
- 4/5
Didn’t use either.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Clean room . Small property and small pool. Great stay
- 5/5

- 5/5
alright
- 5/5
Clean room cool staff great breakfast and very clean bathrooms
- 4/5
Good room
- 3/5
You there are park spaces down town you can use. Each room gets 1 space.
- 2/5
The staff here is incredibly nice, I spoke to 3 different people while staying and they were all really nice and helpful! The rooms are not very clean. The halls smell like clean laundry but our room smelled like feet. There was a cobweb in the upper shower corner that had dead ants. It looked like it was cleaned in a very big hurry. The king mattress was really comfy and the pull out bed on the couch was also decent. Just not a very clean property. I wouldn’t stay there again. But kind staff and the free breakfast was a good spread and very tasty!
- 5/5
Very nice hotel
- 3/5
The room was fine, but the breakfast menu was lacking, hard to find something to eat if you’re not into carb loading…fresh fruit would be nice. Eggs were a weird texture. Hot tub was dirty and not warm enough.
- 2/5
The bathroom smelled like urine from the time we checked
- 5/5
We had zero issues and the room was very nice.
- 2/5
Room smelled musty and AC was old and loud
- 2/5
Has hidden charges.
- 5/5
It was great
- 5/5
👍
- 2/5
Very dirty room that had ants in the bed and on the bathroom vanity
- 1/5
We arrived to find that many of our rooms were unclean... dirty dishes and foul odors, unclean refrigerators, dirty sheets, etc. The front desk staff were unclean, disheveled, and completely frazzled by any of our requests. They lacked follow through, instead giving excuses and inconsistent answers to the same questions with zero effort to find correct answers or solutions. The manager was out of town so we had no option to seek help from someone with knowledge. Unfortunately direct email correspondence with the manager after our departure resulted in a justification for horrific behavior and a failure to apologize or rectify any issues. I would caution you from staying at this hotel.
- 1/5
If I could give negative stars I would. We stayed at this hotel, along with about 5 other families on our team, for a 3-day tournament. We specifically chose this hotel for the in-room kitchen/stovetop features. It was not cheap. Not only was the staff absolutely clueless about the amenities at their own facility, but also quite unfriendly and unwilling to right their many wrongs. The room was not clean, including hair in the fridge (which was not cold enough to even use) as well as the bed. The “dishes” in the kitchen were a joke and dirty upon arrival as well. Even the laundry facility was nearly unusable (we needed to wash uniforms between game days) and there was no maintenance crew at the hotel to fix it. When some of our team’s families reached out to management about some of the issues we experienced, they were unkind and unwilling to take any responsibility. Do NOT stay here! It’s awful and a total waste of money!
- 5/5
Room was nice and clean and cleanup really nicely after each day. Only thing that we did not like is dogs. Please do no let dogs in the hotel. They are dirty and loud and jump around making lots of noise.
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok but no fruit the one morning and for healthy folks there were zero options. Fake eggs were not good and everything was either white bread or had lots of sugar.
- 5/5
We had a king bed and the mattress was very comfortable.
- 5/5
😊
- 4/5
The hotel was pretty great, with the exception of a very loud group over me. I know that's not the fault of the hotel, but it made my experience less than ideal. Otherwise, the location near Alton Baker Park and downtown Eugene is great. The hotel was clean and, other than those above me, seemed to be fairly quiet. I loved that my dog was allowed and the suite was huge.
- 4/5
Everything was clean
- 5/5
Everything but the food
- 5/5
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Got tub was hot and breakfast was good.
- 5/5
The room was clean, the staff were helpful and pleasant, and it was sooooo convenient to the airport!
- 5/5
Clean room, quiet and great breakfast
- 5/5
Excellent service at check in
- 5/5
All staff was kind and friendly. Rooms were clean and well stocked with towels.
- 5/5
We were there for volleyball tournament. Check in was so easy. Friendly staff. Bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is good. Cookies are good. Enjoyed our stay

- 4/5
Clean room and polite and great the service
- 5/5
Clean rooms, nice facility, centrally located.
- 5/5
ROOM IS HUGE
- 1/5
Room window overlooked a parking lot with bright lights, spa was closed for over 24 hours, breakfast was inedibe. Would not go back nor recommend.
- 5/5
The room was great. I liked the hotel. My only complaint is the people upstairs with kids were super loud and inconsiderate. But, what can you do?
- 4/5
We didn't check in until after 7pm, really enjoyed the pool and spa--spa was not as hot as it should be. Slept great and breakfast in the morning--enjoyed that also. We were out of room before 8am. Short visit but enjoyed it.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet. Dogs love the river walk!
- 4/5
Comfortable Bed, Clean Rooms
- 5/5
Room was clean, the hotel was overall clean and new feeling.
- 1/5
The kitchen lights in my room didn’t work. The heaters were wore out beat up dirty disgusting under my bed had not been cleaned for years. The eggs for breakfast were the most disgusting powder egg mix I’d ever experienced the night. Staff at check-in was not polite or friendly will not be returning.
- 3/5
Stayed on New Year’s Eve - I understand every place has bad days but I was not so impressed with my stay this time. First, the good! The room and hotel in general were scrupulously clean, we had a great view of the river, the pool and hot tub were lovely and also clean, and the overnight front desk person was very helpful and friendly. The not so good: our TV was broken and the first time we called for help, the first person in the lobby could not have been less interested in helping out. (We later found out the TVs had been broken for a while now, so she was probably so tired of answering that question, which I understand) and the morning person had no coffee and seemed a little accusatory when asked like it was our fault.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, and great options for breakfast!
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Reception was helpful. He moved us to a room nextdoor after I reported that the fridge in our room was not working.
- 3/5
More stock they kept running out of items like fruit, cartons of milk, bread. Saturday and Sunday was busier and they needed more stock and more help in the breakfast area
- 4/5
We stayed two nights and there were never any fresh baked cookies in the lobby in the evening. He said they went to look and the freezer was empty.
- 3/5
Thankfully the staff was kind enough to move me to another room. But the whole experience left an ick.
- 5/5
Great hotel, great staff
- 5/5
Highly recommend if anyone is planning to stay in the area! 😁
- 5/5
I wanted to extend my gratituted to the team from the front desk espeicallu
- 5/5
Friendly staff, good food, clean hotel and rooms. Spa was closed for first night due to too many chemicals being put into it.
- 5/5
Everything was clean, staff was amazing it was cozy
- 2/5
Perfectly fine stay, just disappointed by the breakfast. We arrived an hour before close and they only had watery eggs left and some biscuits.
- 4/5
Clean room, good amenities, helpful & friendly staff
- 5/5
Friendly staff and fast check in
- 5/5
I love this place! My favorites are definitely the 24 hour pool, hot tub and fitness area, as well as the daily breakfast buffet. I think they gave me a bigger room that I was supposed to which was really nice. But every time I’ve stayed here the room has been really nice. The views out the window are of trees and nature and the Willamette river. One time I stayed here and I could hear some really beautiful music coming from the Cuthbert amphitheater. That was so cool! And the rates are really reasonable.
- 1/5
When we arrived at the hotel, we were given a key to a room that was already occupied. It was frightening to walk into someone else’s space. All the staff said was, “Did you have the dog with you?” and “I hope that wasn’t too awkward.” I will never be staying here again. On top of that, the room we were moved to was muggy and gross.
- 5/5
The staff was awesome.
- 4/5
The most convenient location to Autzen stadium.
- 5/5
Clean overall. Fairly new. Well appointed. Quiet. Good hot breakfast.
- 5/5
The staff was incredible! I was feeling quite sick and the manager, Sam, went out of her way to go purchase some OTC meds which saved the day. I was incredibly grateful and would happily stay there again.
- 4/5
The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was the usual fare--excellent waffles and maple syrup, fluffy biscuits, sausage gravy, sausage patties, eggs, cold cereal, yogurt, etc.--but prepared and served by a wonderful woman. We would stay there again.
- 5/5
The pool area has the best acoustics for singing your head off! The Nobel Peace Prize park across the street! My kiddo lives 5 minutes away. Great breakfast. Love the biscuits and gravy. Brandon at the front desk is nice. I remember him from last year. Thank you for everything
- 5/5
This is our go to place when we visit our son. Everything is always on point and they are consistent.
- 5/5
Nice room and clean. check in and check out was painless. The stay was better than expected.
- 5/5
Everything was great inside. The parking spots are too small.
- 5/5
Staff was king and accommodating. I really enjoyed how they helped me with my reservation
- 4/5
Staff was very nice and the overall stay was fine. My only issue was the cleanliness under the beds. I was traveling with cats, and the first thing cats want to do is hide under the bed -- sure enough there were old dog treats, toothpicks, a water bottle, and M&Ms, amidst other fuzz and crumbs. I got a broom from the front desk, but that did very little. It just needed to be vacuumed. Other than that we had a good experience, and breakfast was a nice touch. I'm happy that breakfast went until 10am, as we're not early risers.
- 5/5
The staff was awesome.
- 4/5
Room was great! Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating! Will say the parking here absolutely sucks though, pretty narrow compact spaces, thank God we brought a car instead of my pickup!
- 3/5
Air freshener. The room was very musty, it was hard to breathe comfortably in the room. I used a lot of debrezze. It had broken handles on the drawers. Staff was friendly, but the quality of the room was poor.
- 5/5
While we had a very fine overall experience at this particular location (once again), it did seem to us that there was some maintenance needs (ie side entrances were not working even with room keys) and the parking garage had some excess items in plain view. But the scenic location still appeals to us. We will continue coming back.
- 4/5
No the room wasn't spotless. Hair on floor in kitchen area, sinks drained very slow in bathroom. TV's were hard to operate but the overall was nice. Staff was very friendly and courteous and willing to help. Housekeeping was great cleaned and made up room daily. I would return
- 3/5
No one at the front desk. Waited for ten minutes for someone to show up. No cookies. Room smelled like terrible chemicals. Usually LQ does better.
- 5/5
The room was clean, except for cobwebs.. The coffee maker was so dusty that we didn't use it. Other than that, it was wonderful.
- 4/5
I always feel comfortable at a La Quinta. Thanks!
- 5/5
Hot tub and pool were nice! Bed was soft! No complaints! Recommend!

- 3/5
The man at the front desk was helpful as was the young woman who replaced him. We had to call the front desk as there was a loud noise which turned out to be the refrigerator. Hence, it was unplugged. The room on the whole was also noisy with the heat and other sounds thus, we didn't sleep well. Nice staff, poor quality of room.
- 5/5
Rooms clean. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was very good.
- 5/5
Yes very good
- 5/5
We were just there for a get away
- 5/5
Great stay and great staff!
- 4/5
Only concern was step up and over tub/shower, very slippery tub bottom and no grab bars of any kind.
- 1/5
The place was dirty and poorly maintained
- 5/5
Everything was excellent
- 4/5
Sheets felt scratchy left before breakfast
- 5/5
Extremely friendly staff, especially at check in.
- 5/5
Everything was clean and well kept, no complaints
- 4/5
The hotel was very good for the price i payed, there was some waterdamage/mildew on the ceiling of the bathroom, and there was stuff at the bottom of the hottub that threw me off, but besides that staff was super friendly, they three different types of pillows so it was very comfortable. Nice tv in the room
- 5/5
The front desk gentleman was very kind very nice and very knowledgeable. My room is absolutely amazing!
- 5/5
Staff are friendly.
- 5/5
The night manager was very nice and yet busy doing alot of things.
- 4/5
We didn’t experience breakfast, we checked out before serving. Checking in was smooth, friendly & professional. Room was clean, bed/bedding was very comfortable. It would have been nice to have more than 1 shampoo & conditioner, no lotion. Good location, plenty of food choices, shopping. We’ll be back
- 4/5
Breakfast was limited and heated for too long. Need more choices. Hotel room needs a refresh, but decent bed.
- 5/5
Perfect place for me during a difficult time of my dad passing. Solo the first part of the week and husband and doggos here tomorrow. I just really appreciated front desk and the kindness shown.
- 2/5
The guys in the room next to me were talking till 3am and I could hear them clearly Bad noise control
- 5/5
Love this place. Always friendly. Always clean. Great location. Room is so relaxing.

Booked a room for 5. Only sleeping for 4 available. Great staff, but hotel booked up and could not accommodate our reservation.
- 5/5
Very clean, quiet, and primo location to shops, restaurants, dog park, college, and river. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was yummy! Room was clean and spacious- loved the shampoo & conditioner provided. We will be back!
- 4/5
It was nice and quiet
- 5/5
The staff was very kind and worked very hard to keep the place running and clean, will visit again very soon
- 2/5
No AC in room. Was called by front desk to move car after I was in bed. Front desk not very helpful in that conversation.
- 5/5
Loved the cookies.
- 5/5
Open gateway to the path along the river gives guests a chance to meet all kinds of interesting people. Do not go for an after dinner walk.
- 4/5
Continental breakfast was adequate, but wish it had more hot plate choices.
- 2/5
No shower curtain, late checkout not available, cold coffee. Other than that fine.
- 1/5
The room was dirty. Bed sheets had stains on it along with lots of hair in the sheets. Mold on the ceiling in the shower. Ac unit squeaked while in use and room smelled moldy.
- 4/5
Nice room. Pool and spa was relaxing.
- 5/5
I really liked the balcony with the fireplace. It made it seem home-ey
- 4/5
Overall pretty decent!
- 4/5
My check-in and my stay was very nice. I would stay there again.
- 5/5
Unfortunately, my dad passed away and we needed a place to stay. This hotel was perfect and comfortable and most of all it gave me peace when i needed it the most.
- 4/5
No complaints nice place to stay reasonable rates
- 3/5
The hotel was centrally located for us as we were there to help move our son into college at University of Oregon. We liked that breakfast was served in the mornings which was a such plus to get our day started. Breakfast consisted of waffles, eggs, biscuits, yogurts, fruit, bread and drinks. The room was a bit musty and had a smell when we first got there. You can hear your neighbors in the early morning or late evenings. Bed was soft but pillows were a bit hard. My daughter loved the swimming so that was a plus. Overall, it was ok.
- 4/5
Front desk staff was very kind and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable once they gave us the room we intended to book, correcting the room that hotels.com booked for us. The breakfast was nice, clean and fresh. Loved the location next to the park with our dog.
- 4/5
This place is fine. I would stay here again, no frills really except I did notice there was a pool, but I didn’t use it. This particular location was in a relatively quiet area, if you’re just looking for a place to literally come and sleep this is good. Clean and true to the La Quinta brand.
- 5/5
This is a great property and location. Near a park if you have time for that and within half mile of lots of dining and shopping options. Very quiet surroundings.
- 1/5
To some people $250 isnt a lot of money but to me it is.... Hands down worst experience of my life.

Good heated indoor pool and hot tub. Easy parking. Walking distance to river park and to downtown.
- 5/5
I had surgical procedures and stayed at the hotel for my recovery period. The staff was supportive and helpful. The breakfast was delicious.
- 1/5
The room I stayed in (318) had an adjoining room and I could basically hear everything going on in the room AND they had their TV my entire two day stay and it was LOUD! Thank god for my white noise machine. Ironically, I requested a quiet room as I was having a procedure done and had to get up very early in the morning. Total opposite of what I asked for.

Done

The pool also looked like it hadn't been cleaned. The water was an odd color. The whole hotel needs a good cleaning. Also there is a train that whistles several times during the night.
- 5/5
Comfy bed, clean room
- 5/5
We took a suite with river view. It was a great overnight stay on our way back home from the road trip
- 5/5
Great job LQ!
- 4/5
The hotel was clean and beautiful with all the amenities but the pool and spa were closed. This was a disappointment because this was the main reason for picking this hotel. This should somehow be communicated. I guess I will call ahead and check next time.
- 4/5
nice and clean facility. easy parking.
- 4/5
Great stay we come here often!
- 2/5
For the price, both times I went to the front desk, no one was there. Waited 7 min for someone to come for check in. When I called in advance, the told me luggage storage was at the discretion of the desk agent and I may have to go get a locker at the bus station. The elevator reeked of marijuana. Check out, I waited 5 min for anyone to check the desk. For the price, disappointing

After stating a long the coast for a few days, we wanted pool/hot tub, free breakfast, wifi, parking and a laundry room on the property, that is exactly what we received. Thank you
- 5/5
Everyone was very nice and helpful.
- 4/5
There is a nice park right across the street from the motel, but unfortunately it is full of homeless people.

.
- 5/5
Just ok facility, ok fir price but limited conveniences
- 3/5
Does have a beautiful park next to it. Clean and safe feeling but a little disappointing.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel, beautiful area, great service from the front desk. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Definitely will stay here in the future.
- 5/5
The facility was very clean. The staff was friendly and efficient.
- 5/5
Than you
- 3/5
Mostly clean except for the damp carpet and the random dirty sock under the edge of the bed. Small coffee maker, but we only got decaf. Fortunately there was coffee in the breakfast room. Comfortable bed, good pressure in the shower, 24 hour pool, nice staff. Right next to a park and the bike path which was great.
- 2/5
Mattresses and bedding all need to be replaced. Dirty and uncomfortable.
- 4/5
The breakfast provided was adequate but neither the biscuits and gravy nor the scrambled eggs were particularly appetizing. They did have a nice low fat, low sugar, blueberry yoghurt. The property is aging and there were signs of a lack of diligent maintenance. The the bathroom sink drain was stuck in a partially open position where it could not be filled properly and conversely would drain very slowly, a bit strange. The bureau was not properly shimmed and the drawers slid open whether empty or full - a nuisance.
- 3/5
Our bathroom- (toilet/tub section) had a strange and persistent smell. Maybe "damp" or possibly sewer-gas smelling. Other than that-- room was good.
- 5/5
Bible in room. Wonderful! 😊❤️
- 5/5
My only complaint is that the coffee at breakfast was not good.
- 5/5
Perfect venue for catching a show at the Cuthbert Amphitheater! Nice friendly staff, clean, large rooms. Worked great for us.
- 5/5
Enjoyed that it was across the street from the park and a large walking area. Near colleges so we could move our sulon in
- 5/5
Pool and whirpool very clean
- 5/5
The property was located in a clean and safe environment close to downtown Eugene. The river was adjacent to the property and was very walkable. Close to several food options.
- 4/5
Bed is comfortable AC very loud
- 5/5
Accommodations were good. Great guest relations. Food was good.
- 5/5
This will be our go to spot in Eugene from now on.
- 4/5
Everything was wonderful except there was not enough parking and the internet/wifi didn't work the entire stay. My kids were not thrilled living without streaming services.
- 5/5
It was a very convenient location to everywhere we wanted to go in Eugene.
- 4/5
quick and easy check in, nice hot tub and pool.
- 1/5
Terrible hotel. Old and outdated with low staff. Thins walls you can hear dogs barking & sirens at all hours. Don’t stay here
- 3/5
Room smelled a bit musty and pretty strong of cleaning products. Probably had to hide smells as they allow pets, which is understandable.
- 5/5
Bryan and the front desk was exceptionally helpful. I just had surgery and he was extremely helpful in getting a room for me and the housekeeping folks were quick to make a room ready. Many thanks to all who helped. In a world where awful customer service has become the norm, I am grateful that your staff assisted me much more than I expected.
- 3/5
The bathroom sink was backed up and not draining.
- 4/5
Breakfast sucked; processed, fake, institutional food. Soooo unhealthy, pure garbage. Parking is atrocious. Your parking spots are only wide enough for a little prius. Anything "normal" siz requires two spots. Plus, spots were limited. Wednesday night, we got the last spot. You need more and wider parking. Truly for this reason, I probably won't stay here again.
- 5/5
Great location near a beautiful park
- 5/5
Friendly, helpful staff. Spacious rooms. Hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, and waffles, although only apples were offered for fruit this day. Mature trees around site.
- 3/5
I called multiple times about the Girl Scout pricepoint. Others in our group got it, we didnt. It was rude and unfair. Then the pool is closed, for no reason. The excuse we were given wasnt true, as the pool itself was still fine and not being drained. They just didnt want us in it. We wont be back.
- 5/5
Really a very nice place with a good breakfast for a very nice price here.
- 4/5
I thought the front desk man when we checked in was very nice and we really enjoyed our room. The only thing I had a problem with was the mirror that bends out was broken. Otherwise, the pool is open 24 hours and they have a nice breakfast in the morning until 10:00 a.m.
- 3/5
Window seals are dirty, room had a stale smell and the refrigerator seemed like wasnt cleaned for a while. Bed was comfy and so was the pillows.
- 3/5
Check in and out was efficient. U

Plus, I had already unpacked and put out our toiletries. And to be honest, I just didn't want to deal with having to complain about an issue they absolutely had to know about. I just want to check into a hotel and be able to relax, not shuffle around and deal with problems that should have been fixed before arrival. When I checked out, I told the front desk. No apologies just we would have moved you. There should have been some compensation Not that we'll always switch your rooms. This was an issue they had to know about before our arrival. I just didn't want to deal with it. It should have been ready for arrival. Putting it on the guest is inexcusable. They must have known how bad that air conditioner sounded. Why should a guest have to deal with it? We had a two-night stay, and I should have said something the next day, but our schedule was jam-packed. And we rushed out the door once we woke up. There is no way they didn't know that it squealed like it did. We may stay there on our way back, may being the operative word. We are headed to Seattle next. Then back down as your location was close to our oldest son's home.

Left my AirPods and knew exactly where. Called them and they denied finding them. Said they would talk to staff and check again and call me. Twice I called and they did not follow up. I believe staff picked them up and are lying to me. Worth $150!
- 5/5
Our stay was quick but we were able to enjoy a dip in the pool since it was 90 degrees out! Finished the night with the hot tub and slept very well. The hotel was very quiet. Breakfast was good, the waffles were a bonus and we all enjoyed them.
- 4/5
The hotel is in a great location and it’s well maintained, but I had to BEG for clean towels. Housekeeping only came after I complained— and I was one of three guests at the deal asking what the heck. Evidently, they only come by at 7 AM and if the room isn’t empty, they skip you for the entire day. The front desk explained to me that you’re skipped if you have your do not disturb sign out, and that is why— as if that’s a normal procedure. For one thing, that policy isn’t stated anywhere. For another, the sign was by the TV, but the door! I stayed for 5 days and got fresh towels once. Garbage was never emptied. I was pretty unhappy.

I enjoyed my stay at La Quinta Inn and Suites, as it was in a very quiet area near the river, and you could take walks in Alto Baker Park. Great staff, nice big room, with tv in sitting area. Decent breakfast, and the pool and jacuzzi looked nice although I didn’t use them.
- 5/5
Pet friendly room right on the river. Steps away from an amazing walk in a huge park.
- 4/5
Bathroom sink did not drain well.
- 5/5
My friend and I were in town for the Oregon Country Fair. We enjoyed our time in Eugene and were pleased with our stay at La Quinta. It was clean, quiet, comfortable and the breakfast was good. What more could you ask for?
- 4/5
The first night we stayed at this property. We arrived late and we were given the dog pee room. It was run down and very scary. After a week of travel, I was not looking forward to returning to La Quinta, but we had already booked it. Thankfully, we arrived early and received a beautiful room. The staff working that night was helpful. We were able to see in the daylight that the location was perfect and as expected. Overall, the experience was OK.
- 5/5
We had stayed with you earlier in the week, but our plane did not land until midnight; the first room we had with you was gross even at midnight. I was not looking forward to returning. However, we arrived before 8 PM. Your check-in gal said she had just put some cookies in. Because that batch was consumed immediately, she generously made more and brought them to our room. Nice staff that is willing to go the extra mile for tired travelers makes your hotel stand out. She gets five stars.

The beds and pillows are amazing. Great staff!
- 5/5
We had no issues with this location, room was clean, staff was great and we loved that the hot tub and pool were open 24 hrs because it was late when we arrived.
- 4/5
All good. Cleanliness is most important!
- 3/5
Room was definitely not vacuumed. Lots of dog kibble left on the floor.
- 4/5
Water at breakfast? Front desk at check in and check out couldn’t care one bit about me!
- 5/5
Yes ! The hotel was close to our destination with a nice park next to the river. Shout out to Emile at the front desk, very helpful.
- 5/5
Good hotel
- 5/5
Loved how close it was to the park. And cookies at night? Woohoo
- 5/5
I loved everything about this place! It’s location is so beautiful! It’s practically in a park and across the street from an amphitheater where I could hear a live band playing. The pool is open. 24 hours! It was so nice and warm, and most of the time I went there. I had the whole thing to myself. The included breakfast was so plentiful and delicious and high-quality! Highlights include: the waffles, eggs, and breakfast meats.
- 5/5
Loved that the hot tub/pool were open 24/7...what a great surprise
- 4/5
It was a clean comfortable room.
- 3/5
Now shower at SPA, not clean. Breakfast too bad not much choice and too less food. There might have bedbugs because my son’s leg got bitten.
- 2/5
Overall feeling of “old and musty”. Unattended fitness room (no spray or other cleaner for equipment, no towels - though places for both - just completely unstocked).
- 2/5
Property was old and a new one down the street was not offered to me.
- 4/5
Convenient located for all your needs. Park had paths that lead across the bridges and to downtown. Quick, simple drive to Hayward Field for Track n Field events.
- 1/5
There was bed bugs rhey charged me for the room and I did not stay

We paid for an upgraded suite since we were sharing a room with our son. The pull out bed had no bedding and there was no bedding located anywhere in the room. When I called the front desk to request bedding I got the response “I’ll check and see if we have any and send it to your room if we do.” After an hour of waiting my husband went to the front desk to again request bedding where he was told “sorry we are just super busy.” 30 minutes later after we were in bed there was a knock at the door where one very thin hospital style blanked with holes was delivered, no pillows or additional bedding. The pull out mattress was loud, uncomfortable for my son and we ended up buying him a blanket and sharing our pillows. Next time we will not be staying at this property. In addition the guest above us were very loud and inconsiderate but nothing was done about the noise.
- 1/5
We paid way too much money for this hotel and we didnt have a choice (over $900 for 2 nights). It was disgusting. Our first room had faulty outlets so our phones or computers couldn’t charge. The light in the bathroom shut off randomly. And the mattress was like sleeping on a box spring. We moved to a new room where the door would not completely shut. The entire time we were there the WiFi did not work. It was highway robbery to pay “resort prices” at this awful hotel.
- 3/5
Excellent staff. Very friendly and accommodating. Clean room and common areas. Elevator needs servicing. Doors got stuck and needed to use the help button to get someone to release the doors open. Walls and ceilings are very thin. Could hear the neighboring guests above and next door.
- 5/5
Nice location, park area, U of O stadium, downtown, shopping, facility fine
- 4/5
Nice room with river view. Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice staff.

The staff was friendly!
