Disappointing

For new bed, we thought it was just mediocre. Bathroom renovation was great.

All the amenities were closed or under construction. There was no microwave in the room. We weren't given any information for the locations of anything. The tv barely had local tv. There was no discount or advanced warning of any of these issues. The only information that was given before hand was the restaurant was closed until the end of the month.

All well but the hotel is changing ownership and the entire vibe will change.

Hotel under construction, hot tub not working was rated 4 star hotel it seemed like 3 star. None of this was on website when I booked.not happy

Ac unit in the room didn’t work, was told the maintenance was gone for the night and couldn’t fix it. I was offered a small fan instead of a new room. Room was 74° all night with no window to crack open. The front desk was friendly, and kind for offering the fan but overall was hoping for a new room as the hotel is large enough. I arrived late after a long travel day so hoped for a bit more accommodation. But the hotel itself is nice, very clean, and was comfortable for the price.

The Even Hotel is a great place to stay in Eugene. It is within walking distance of Autzen and just a few minutes from campus. Highly recommend.

It was one of the most comfortable rooms. I have stayed in in a long time. There was stuffed if you wanted to work out. Do Yoga, there was just comfortability? Great motivational sayings throughout the hotel to keep your day motivated.

Using the ice machine meant your arm gets wet from the dispenser. This place is falling apart. The hotel staff would rather be anywhere but at work. Trust me, you really do not want to stay at this place.

The room has fitness equipment in it as part of the decor. I'm not really a "fitness person", but I do really appreciate this for some reason, and I might play around with some of this. The vibe of this hotel is amazingly positive.

Overall the hotel is nice. Felt clean, love that the pool stayed open until 11. The downside is it seems like they built it out of cardboard boxes. Every tiny sound can be heard in your room. I heard someone blowing thier nose from rooms away and it sounded like they were in my bathroom. If you want to sleep soundly, I'd recommend somewhere else.

EVEN is one of our family pitstops on our way to family get-togethers in Seattle. We love the vibe, the easy parking, and the ping pong table. Also great that I can keep up with my gym workouts with the equipment in the room.

Clean, modern, comfy. It even had an exercise area in the room with a yoga ball, resistance bands, yoga mat & block and sanitizing wipes! The shower was really nice… couldn’t get the handheld sprayer feature to work but was amazed it was even an option!

The gym is lackluster. For a place that claims health and wellness no water in the gym. And limited equipment.

We stayed with our dog and went to a show and left her in her crate in the room. They called us in the middle of our show and told us our dog had been barking for an hour. We have stayed in hundreds of hotels with our dog and she does not bark. We got back after having to leave the show early and she was indeed not barking. The front desk said they didn’t even verify she had been barking before calling and ruining our trip.

The staff is so nice! Check in was easy and pleasant. The tea in the lobby is a very nice touch too! The rooms are nice and clean.

On the last night I could hear the occupants above me and to the side who were having, what sounded like a party, until the wee hours of the morning. I also wouldn't recommend a room near the elevator. You’ll be able to hear the bell throughout the night. On the positive, the staff is very nice. I love the yoga equipment in the room. And love the location.

First time, when checking in, the person I dealt with didn't feel welcoming to me. Enough for me to think about it later. It was nice otherwise, although I don't think price of the rooms measures to quality of service, style and design.

This is a great hotel. They only lost one star because the coffee situation is just sad. No one wants powdered creamer with watered down kuerig cups in the morning or to run down a long hallway in sleepwear to get water ( none on the room) from a temperamental water machine to make a cup of watered down flavorless coffee. All this money on exercise gear in each room but neglecting the basics.

The property was clean as was the room. What i didnt like is our room wasnt picked up and we didnt get fresh towels as a result. I walked to front desk to get fresh towels and we had to make the beds ourselves. Also,the restaurant and bar were closed for some reason on Sunday.

The hotel was clean and bed was comfortable. They had basic exercise equipment in the room which although unusual was a nice option for a quick workout in the morning. We did not eat at the hotel but there was a kitchen area in the lobby which had breakfast options.

The restaurant and bar was operated by one person and a cook. The person trying to tend bar take orders, serve customers and bus tables was too much. It took really long to get your drinks and food. No fault of the waitress she just was overwhelmed.

Staff was top notice and breakfast was delicious. Room was nice, but was suite and the bedroom had no vent so you had to keep all doors open. Very odd and only negative to nice hotel

We got into town a little earlier than expected. I called and asked if we could check in early. (Check in is at 3pm, I called at 12:30pm) I was told they had been busy, but they could check us in at 2pm - totally understandable. We got to the hotel at 2pm and was then told that early check in was only reserved for their club members, which I could sign up for, free, by just providing my email address. This was never discussed when I called. I declined - I don’t need more marketing emails - and then we waited by the restaurant for the appropriate check in time. From there, we got to listen to an interview being conducted. Weird that it wasn’t in an office, but okay. They then were able to get us in a room by 2:40pm, which was a nice surprise. Overall, not a bad stay. But it still felt a little unprofessional and disjointed.

The EVEN hotel was very clean not just in our room but everwhere we went in the building. Very easy reservations and check in. Very friendly service. Walking distance to Amphitheater was not far. Good experience.

The parking is extremely tight. Everything about the hotel is mediocre. It's overpriced.

It was a good property

We had to stay at a hotel unexpectedly when we got home from a long trip. I chose this hotel because it had a high rating and was in a great location for what we had to do the next day. We were extremely happy with the comfort of the room, including a really nice bed and bedding, really comfortable pillows. That’s what impressed me most, but the overall ambiance of the hotel was very positive.

The hotel inside is great and the beds were super comfortable. The only issue we had was parking. We were there helping family with things and would return to the hotel late at night (11 pm ish) and parking was unavailable one night so we had to park on the street. Luckily, we didn’t get a parking ticket. Everything else was fine.

Didn't appreciate $3 for a cup of coffee....not very clean. Did like the location

Staff was friendly and helpful. Fern the bartender and waitress handled all dining,drinks, tables with a friendly and attentive demeanor. The area is difficult without a rental car to navigate but the hotel is great.

Our stay was great! The staff was very nice. Every where we went was a 10 minute drive or less. Close to the baseball field and football stadium.

Checkin was a little confusing as the 'front desk' is on the second floor - I was tired and didn't see the signs indicating this. Room was pretty small, the pictures made it look bigger than it was, this wasn't really an issue as I didn't do much but sleep in the room anyway. Overall the property is in good shape, there was plenty of parking and the location is pretty convenient for access to Eugene.

A wonderful place to stay for an unexpected flight delay. The front desk staff were so friendly and accommodating and helped us find a reliable ride to the airport at 3:30am. Everyone I met there was so friendly! Also a beautiful comfortable room!

I loved the exercise equipment in the room! I was really surprised with the healthy hotel style. My only issue was the thin walls. I could hear the complete conversation of our neighbors. But I would stay here again!

This was walking distance from the Slocum Center where I was having surgery. The little restaurant bar area was nice and the food surprisingly good. If I ever have to do more surgeries at Slocum... we will stay here again.

My stay was great. I wasn’t sure where to pull in initially but liked the more hidden off street parking around back. There isn’t a normal pull up lobby so that’s the only confusing part. E dry thing else was five stars! I would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay as usual. We always stay here when we are in Eugene. I would love to have a real coffee mug. Maybe I could request one or get it from the dining area...next time I will ask.

Nice place to stay, but a little noisy when you get a room right by the bar. Even though it closes at 10pm, people may stay and visit as late as they want. Then more noise in the morning when some people get up early for breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel for the first time. It caters to a wellness lifestyle. My room had excercise equipment like a yoga mat and a stability ball. The location is really close to the Ruth Bascom bike path.

I was there with friends to see a concert at the Hult. It was an easy trip there and back from the hotel. The room itself was handicap accessible and easy to maneuver with the wheelchair. The coffee pot didn't work however and that was a bummer. The shower was huge, but very touchy with temperature regulation. The water pressure sucked!! The bed was very comfortable.
