When we reached Eugene, we were informed that we couldn't stay at this hotel and had to move to another place that reeked of cigarettes and was extremely unclean. Very disappointed!!!! Service was terrible and I was over charged.

Clean room, comfortable beds, well stocked

Lots of space in room. Staff very friendly. It is very convenient to have that snack area downstairs for purchase.

Loved the free coffee with a variety of creamers. The purchase pantry was also well stocked. We used the gym and it was clean and well maintained. Great supply of cooking ware in the rooms
- 5/5
It had everything we needed. Was a comfortable stay.

everythimg was fine
- 5/5
Clean room, well equipped kitchen, helpful staff. The location was quiet and convenient. We only stayed one night. I think it is better for longer stays. While there was some food and snacks available, I prefer a fresh hot breakfast. I did find a great breakfast place called “Lovely” a few minutes away.

Jonathan at the front desk was amazing. Helped retrieve a miss delivered door dash order
- 5/5
Clean, quiet property. So conveniently located - very close to University of Oregon and restaurants. Quick access from freeway. Fully equipped kitchen, clean rooms, very comfortable bed and pillows, free morning coffee nice touch. Kind and knowledgeable/helpful staff! Everytime I visit Eugene, I always stay here!
- 5/5
I did not use the kitchen but it seemed to have everything I would need. The rooms were roomy and I liked all the desk space.
- 4/5
Clean. Nice for an overnight stay.
- 5/5
Much enjoyed having o full kitchen. The staff was friendly and helpful. Easy drive to the marathon start expensive as the marathon was in Eugene. Price could have een more reasonable.

We were there for a Marathon, so we asked for a courtesy late checkout. They gave us 1 extra hour for a $75 charge. Seems they rather take advantage of customers rather than extending a courtesy. Will try to avoid Candelwood Suites in the future
- 5/5
Love this place. Stay here anytime.
- 5/5
Clean room!
- 4/5
Clean room. As expected per description. My room was on the end of the unit and unfortunately there was a street/parking lot light just outside my window. Wouldn’t have been a problem if I had curtains but the curtains didn’t fully close off the outside light. Made it difficult to go to sleep
- 5/5
Room was clean and felt new. The kitchenette had everything we needed plus some, and was very clean as well. Fitness centers can be hit and miss, but this fitness center was solid. The front desk service was friendly. Would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
- 4/5
Rooms are large, free breakfast would have been a benefit rather than high priced snacks and cereal.
- 5/5
The staff was welcoming and the accommodations very nice. It was great!
- 5/5
We had to take our dog with us at the last minute. They accommodated us with ease. But, those pillows were amazing!! We slept so good!
- 5/5
Clean room. Loved the space of the room. Staff who checked us in was amazing. Kitchen was a great feature.

Everything was clean and the rooms provide more than enough for the stay.

It was a little further from campus than I thought it would be.

The room was clean and had everything we needed!
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
The staff that I had encountered were all super friendly and helpful
- 3/5
Room is okay, lots of cooking things if you need it. Parking lot was horrible, small small spaces. Took me an hour to park between the two hotels in either side and ended up parking in a random parking lot next to the neighbor hotel that I don't even know belinged to them.
- 5/5
Clean quiet hotel. Friendly staff, well equipped kitchen, convenient on site laundry room. Centrally located 10-15 minutes to University of Oregon, shopping, restaurants.
- 2/5
This place was old. Room was clean but shower water pressure was nonexistent, mold spots on ceiling, rips in the wallpaper in the bathroom, bathroom door had to be manhandled to close past the toilet. It was not Marriott caliber.
- 5/5
It was a great stay, only issue was it was difficult to find parking
- 4/5
The room looked a little tired. Meaning paint on door and some trim needs touching up. But room was clean and the beds were comfortable
- 5/5
Location and accessibility to highways, restaurants, and football stadium.
- 5/5
Clean and spacious. Not fancy but comfortable. Worth the price.
- 5/5
The room was QUIET and clean. We slept really well! Thank you so much!
- 5/5
Accommodating staff, clean room
- 5/5
Liked the size of room and kitchenette. Wish it had a pool
- 3/5
No pool or breakfast
- 5/5
It is a great location right by the river The rooms are spacious with full kitchen with nice clean utensils, cutlery et. roomy bathroom Very clean overall and later we found there is a gym and free laundry though we did not use them

Room was on Highway with lots of traffic and room noise.
- 4/5
Clean, staff is friendly
- 5/5
My go-to every time I'm in Eugene. I've been staying here since 2017 and have not needed to go anywhere else when in Eugene. Stellar as always!
- 5/5
Clean and friendly staff
- 5/5
Excellent room with unusual high ceilings and windows can cook and desk office like the cupboard
- 5/5
Room was spacious and the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cookware
- 5/5
Bed was pretty hard for my back.( back surgery)Otherwise, great location, very nice employees, very clean.
- 5/5
The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable bed. Staff was very helpful and kind and the hotel was quiet.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stall at Candlewood Suites and I look forward to staying here again! Mahalo
- 5/5
Clean and pleasant stay
- 5/5
Great stay. Highly recommend this property
- 4/5
Repeat but not yet frequent flyer, in town to see friends for dinner after a day on the river, appreciate the kitchenette though we haven't used it other than to store perishables over night, showerhead so-so. with moderate pressure, but plentiful good & hot water. Worth getting the river view for the few $ even if you only enjoy it the next morning.
- 4/5
Just a one night stay.
- 5/5
Wonderful restful stay. Friendly and helpful staff, clean spacious room, very comfortable bed, beautiful river view, kitchen was modern (nice touch with the complimentary microwave popcorn), bathroom was very clean, huge closet. So close to UO as I was visiting my son. Will definitely book here again.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable
- 5/5
Any time I'm working in Eugene, the Candlewood is my go to 100% of the time. The friendly staff, cozy rooms, full kitchen and most of all.....quiet. Top shelf stay every time!
- 5/5
Love it.
- 5/5
Great!
- 4/5
but my room was near freeway. very noisy
- 5/5
This was a great last minute find! Will definitely stay again in the future.
- 5/5
Super friendly staff and quiet
- 4/5
There is clearly a big pot smoke smell here in this area, including in the hallways of the hotel. However once in our room, didn’t smell anything further
- 5/5
Room was comfortable with a nice view of the river!
- 5/5
Just an overnight stay but really liked the room. Great use of space. Felt roomy with two beds and a kitchen.
- 5/5
The Candlewood has always been my main stay when I'm in Eugene/Springfield area. They have all the amenities of home. The gals at the front desk are always super helpful and nice. The beds are cozy and clean, the shower is perfect and it's awesome to have a full kitchenette. Do I need to stay anywhere else, nah, I'm good. Thanks guys for another cool stay.
- 3/5
Returned from family event at 11pm Friday and there was absolutely no parking anywhere. The middle of three hotels, none of them has sufficient parking and there is nowhere nearby to park, for any price. There were two spaces with a faded "C" for compact that I could not squeeze my rented Camry into, between SUVs and trucks. Finally found myself on downhill dead-end alley behind neighboring hotel and took last space, hoping I would not be towed. Otherwise, a fine place to stay if you don't drive.
- 5/5
Appreciated the cleanliness
- 4/5
Room was very nice and bed was comfy. Only downside was the toilet plugged and it took them forever to fix it.
- 5/5
Thanks again
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
- 5/5
Friendly
- 5/5
The staff was nice and we were pleasantly surprised with the room. The staff was very understanding and accommodating with an early cancelation due to whether conditions during our stay. We were in town for a multiday volleyball tournament that got cancelled. We would stay at this hotel again in the future.
- 5/5
Clean
- 4/5
The rooms were very spacious with a small kitchenette. Very comfortable. Our room did face a busy street and sounds from it were noticeable. However, there was a great view of the river from it. The side of the hotel facing away would have been quieter.
- 4/5
Good nights sleep close to I5 so good for people traveling looking for somewhere to spend the night, only thing I didn’t like for the price of the room no breakfast was included with cheaper options hotels offering breakfasts.
- 4/5
Easy check in and friendly staff. Good location for UO. A little loud due to traffic noise on street, but I know you cannot do much about that. Street light outside window a little too bright, but again, not much you can do about that.
- 2/5
The shampoo and conditioner dispenser was broken off the wall. The faucet was loose and wiggly. The fridge made a circuit of loud noises about every two hours.
- 4/5
Noisy neighbors one night
- 4/5
Comfy beds, spacious room, the recliner was a nice addition. Only suggestion would be a fan in the bathroom to mitigate steam and the coffee was pretty awful otherwise would definitely recommend.
- 5/5
love it
- 5/5
Close to the UO but easy to get to other parts of town without hitting UO traffic. Beds were comfortable and it’s nice to have a full kitchen available.
- 2/5
Unfortunately the room we were given was not what we expected. We did not have an area for meals or sitting for two. We were very disappointed.
- 5/5
My go to when I stay Eugene and has been since 2018 when I first stayed here. Top shelf all they way around, from check in to check out and everything in between. Never had a bad experience at The Candlewood.

Every time I stay in Eugene,Or my go to is The Candlewood. The beds are the coziest and the studio set up so awesome. I just dig this place. Easy check in, whether I'm early or late. Friendly staff. Just top shelf all the way around.
- 5/5
Well lit parking lot, friendly and welcoming front desk staff. More room than I needed but easy to find off the freeway.
- 3/5
Didn’t know since this is extended stay that there was no housekeeping for our 2 day stay. Refrigerator in room was noisy, no fan in bathroom!
- 5/5
The hotel was clean, the area nice and the staff friendly, we enjoyed our stay, only recommendation would be usb plug ins! I didn’t bring my box because I’ve gotten so used to the lamps having them, but they didn’t have any anywhere, I’d definitely stay again, next time I’ll come with my usb plug in! Lol
- 4/5
Great central spot. Much nicer than expected in the room. Nice folks.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay. We’re moving to a new location and had a 26ft moving truck that they were able to accommodate easily. The room was spacious which helped 3 adults and 2 cats be comfy for 4 days while we closed on our house and got things packed up to leave the area. The little food store helped our mom satisfy her snack attacks and the nicely equipped kitchenette allowed us to quasi-cook dinner each night without having to dine out. Everything was top notch.
- 4/5
I love the vaulted ceilings and kitchenettes.
- 5/5
The picture showed the property and the river. The road between was not shown. Also had to pay more for Riverview when the river was across a busy street.
- 3/5
Staff was professional and friendly. My only issue with the property, and it's a big one for me, is how loud the room was. I opted for a more expensive river view room, thinking that it would be the quiet, peaceful side of the facility, however I was completely wrong. The river sits across a busy highway, so those rooms sit right next to that highway, and the traffic is VERY loud in the room. So I paid a premium for the loud room with a view of a river across a highway. Just beware, because that info is not disclosed up front.
- 5/5
The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. Lots of amenities, but no breakfast provided. Kitchenette makes it so you can make a quick breakfast if needed. Service was friendly. Nice stay. Would stay there again if we’re in the area.
- 5/5
I chose this hotel without reading the full list of amenities and expecting it to have breakfast, but it does not. A huge let down I travel a lot, so I will definitely start paying closer attention to the amenities is even less expensive. Hotels serve breakfast.
- 1/5
My card was charged when I opted to pay at the hotel with cash. The site said my card would not be charged. They also ran my card for a 50 incidental fee which is still pending my account 3 days later.
- 4/5
Lovely staff, closest eateries are 7-8 minute drive downtown and parking is sparse. Hotel was very clean
- 5/5
everything about this place is amazing including the staff!!!
- 5/5
Fantastic! Wow, what a great deal and nice clean hotel with great layout. Super happy with this spot!
- 4/5
Nice hotel, clean room comfortable bed, but the area around the hotel had 10-15 homeless people that frequently harassed us when we went to our car wanting food or money. I told the front desk and was more or less shrugged off about it.
- 5/5
Large rooms.
- 5/5
Needs a pool
- 4/5
The building is a bit old so the amenities are not upgraded and breakfast is not available which is usually offered at all other places.
- 5/5
Great location for visiting U of O students and football game ! Free laundry and a cute lending library for games, movies, cookware!
- 4/5
The staff was amazingly friendly and wonderful. There was a lot of road noise and I paid extra for a river view but had to look across a 5-lane road to see it. Recommend staying on the other side of the hotel to minimize noise.
- 5/5
Overall great!
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay at Candlewood Suites Eugene OR. The beds were comfortable, the room clean, the staff was amazing. We also appreciated all the kitchen ammenities (dishes, dishwasher, etc,)
- 2/5
Room was nice and a good size, but person at check-in stated they didn't get paid from third parties like Expedia and charged our card for the full amount. It took several days to resolve. Very frustrating.
- 4/5
Great that you take dogs and provide a small space for dog poop/peeing. Loved the room and bed. Location is terrific for University area, easy to get to.
- 4/5
Hotel service was good, room good, bed very comfortable, plenty of towels, soap, coffee (no creamer, sugar packets). Everything was great except when I went to make coffee a couple small roaches ran out of the coffee maker! I told front desk who said they would have room sprayed. Upon departure she apologized again and said she gave us a discount on the room, which we didn’t ask for.
- 4/5
The hotel is very clean with free self parking. The front desk stall was very helpful. The area is safe though one side of the hotel is by a busy road and could be noisy. Overall it was very nice stay.
- 5/5
Comfortable room
- 4/5
Short and sweet no thrills hotel. Had a good nights sleep in comfy beds. Kitchen had what we needed to cook for four. Little odd though that we were asked to empty the dishwasher ourselves.
- 5/5
Everyone was very helpful and professional. Room was clean and had everything i needed. Quiet and very comfortable
- 3/5
We've stayed here before--found it great a couple of years ago. Now, it seems a little neglected and not fresh.
- 5/5
The hotel itself was clean and well kept. The staff were amazing and very helpful. We had a room with a kitchen so we were able to make our daughters favorite meal while we were there. The hotel has a lending cabinet full of games, movies etc.. that guests can use for free. Overall, we will definitely stay again. Clean comfortable rooms, friendly staff, safe great location.
- 5/5
I loved our stay at Candlewood! I loved that our room was clean and staff was friendly.
- 5/5
Was satisfied. Servious outstanding!
- 5/5
This hotel was great! The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel had good Covid protocols in place.
- 5/5
Room was roomie and comfortable. Friendly staff. Very kind to my kids and dog
- 4/5
Room was great. Although the soap holder fell off the wall.
- 5/5
This place is amazing. Everything was very clean. Unfortunately, even though this was a large venue, breakfast was not available. I understand why though, so this does not change my view of the property. I would recommend it.
- 5/5
I hope all my stays when working on the road could be exactly like this. Full fridge, stove, nice clean spacious shower, big clean bed. I needed that.
- 5/5
The room was large and roomy and clean but I could have used a more silverware. The staff was friendly. The location near Univeristy of Oregon was very convenient
- 3/5
This was not a hotel, they are small apartments. No parking, run down interiors, dirty carpet.
- 5/5
Didnt like no free breakfast. Friendly staff
- 4/5
Great stay! It was close to almost everything and felt safe. Our

This property cancelled day of..like 1130 am on sold out weekend..they still have yet to refund my money and they refused to help..the girl answering the phone just said, my boss said to let people know we overbooked and there was no room for you..then hung up..when I called back she said a refund was coming..what else do you want me to do. They have yet to refund me. I had to pay an absurd amount to book a hotel elsewhere same day on UO move in weekend.
