Great overall property next to university. Especially close for events at Matthew knight, Autzen and hayword field.

Our stay at Best Western New Oregon was excellent. The rooms were clean, parking was great, and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. I have no complaints about this property and I would definitely recommend it to anybody looking for a place to stay in Oregon. We would definitely stay there again when we need a hotel.

A lot of jumping, yelling, and screaming (yes, literal screaming every few minutes). Walking distance to so many local places. One of the lights didn't work which made it a little dark in the room, but it wasn't a big issue.

Stayed for the Eugene Marathon and it was an excellent choice. Only 2 blocks from the starting line (I never even had to use a porta-potty!). The front desk staff was friendly and offered a to-go bag of marathon-friendly foods (bagel, peanut butter, banana, etc). We had a balcony room that faced a canal and got to see baby ducks, nutria, and a turtle! The hotel is within walking distance to several restaurants, a Starbucks, and Market of Choice. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Room very clean, beds are on stiff side but still slept well no joint aches. Pretty quiet, fridge microwave clean and working. Only stayed 1 night so didnt see pool or gym. Keurig coffee machines with ok coffee, not enough creamer( I like more then most) overall very good stay with bar and restaurants near. Super close to Knight Arena, quick 5 min walk. Been here b4 and will stay again!

Checked in to our room and went to take a shower and there was NO hot water. Called the front desk and they said that they would have maintenance come check it out. Got back from our concert around 10:30pm and still NO hot water. Called the front desk again and they said maintenance will be there to fix it. Woke up at 7am and guess what? Yup, still NO hot water!!! Also the room was filthy dirty. There was a sticky brown substance on the door jam to the bathroom. There was a dirty pair of shoes left in the closet from previous occupants. The neighbors were so disrespectfully loud, partying and slamming doors until 2am.

We stay in Suite #173. I absolutely love this room. It gives my family a large space to stretch out in. Everything was amazing this time!! Thank you so much New Oregon!!

Front desk staff was very nice, but the room was dirty, especially the bathroom. The shower curtain was stained and the towels had stains as well. Only one of the towels looked clean enough to use. The breezeway also had empty alcohol containers on the floor. I would not stay here again.

Yes, room was clean. Tap water pleasant to drink. Floor between beds was slippery. I found out the hard way when exiting bed one morning. Edge of bedside lamp table too sharp. flooring slick with dry bare feet. There needs to be an area rug with non-slip backing, 3 feet wide by 5 feet long should do the job.

The staff was very nice. Only when asked were there Landry area was she told us through this hallway across from our room when it was on the right hand side. Our door to the bathroom kept closing had to use a trash can to keep it open. Other than that our stay was short the staff was so very kind. There was really nice restaurants not far and the coffee in the area was amazing. Shopping was nice too.

Old amenities, white lights makes you feel like you’re in a hospital, the room is exceptionally small, bathroom old & small. Not a place to work from. No drinking water in the bedroom. The price doesn’t reflect what’s offered. Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

We made a mistake when booking our reservation that we didn't know about until we arrived. Becca at the front desk was very helpful! She responded very kindly, offered a few suggestions and was able to make arrangements for us to stay in the same room for the duration of our stay. I cannot say enough good things about our interactions with her and her professionalism. Overall, our stay was great. We were in town for the game and took advantage of being within walking distance of different venues, stadiums and dining options. Being at the BW during game day is a fun experience-- from the lobby deocorations to fans' team spirit-- it' can't be beat! Thank you Becca and BW team for making it a great stay!

I was told by Madison at the front desk that the fire alarms are frequently triggered by the steam from showers. Just a heads up! Would have been nice to know. They came to room and took off the fire alarm- easy fix, I guess. Didn’t feel safe at all.

First off staff was very nice, the main facilities were very nice and the location cannot be closer to the university. I did not realize that this is a motel. Rooms are pretty run down and the heat/ac wall unit was loud and not super effective. The creek behind the property was very pretty. I probably would not stay here again just due to the condition of the rooms.

Staff was as friendly and welcoming, as always. Room was clean and convenient walkable location to U of O campus and Autzen Stadium. Miss how the breakfast would change it's items daily though. Breakfast sausage everyday we stayed instead of alternating with bacon! Good other selections though!

We loved the bed it was super comfortable. Breakfast was delicous and the staff was very nice and accommodating when I called ahead and told them I had injured my foot the night before, they made sure to give me a ground floor room. We would definately stay again if we go back to the area.

We travel with a pet, so it’s a bit different. The staff are wonderful. The room is perfect and they give the pup a treat upon arrival. Definitely recommend.

This hotel definitely exceeded our expectations! Clean, quiet, friendly staff, and so many amenities! They had a delicious hot continental breakfast served everyday. A gym with practically brand new equipment. An indoor heated pool and a sauna. Also, they had free coffee and hot cocoa available all day! This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at and will be staying at Best Western again in the future.

Everything you need while visiting UO .. campus or game at Autzen

The room was nice enough but the complimentary breakfast was awful it ruined my appetite for the day. The eggs were like rubber and the sausage was covered in a layer of grease so thick it had started to caramelize onto the sausage. Other than that and the dogs barking in the room next to us at night this was an ok place to stay.

They have remodeled the room since I stayed last. I like this hotel a lot. It’s right on this little river where ducks swim. It’s a nice easy fun walk to Oregon duck football games.

Hard to find any dining options close by. It is across the road from the Univ of Oregon which surprised us of the lack of dining nearby. The property is somewhat aging but is kept up well kept. They offer an extensive complimentary breakfast. Bedding was better than average. Room temp and water pressure was good.

This was a last minute booking, and I'm so glad we decided to stay over night here. Was happy with the big room and spacious bathroom with a good shower (water pressure, quick heating).

The staff at this property went above and beyond from watching them make coffee for elderly patrons to their friendliness whenever we entered the lobby- we were so impressed

Perfect spot to see an event at Matt Knight Arena.

We booked for the great location close to Matt Knight Arena so we would stay again to attend a concert. The room was ok; it smelled a little funky and the old school AC unit was very loud.

We stayed here while attending IntroDUCKtion at the University of Oregon. It was a convenient choice for our program, within walking distance of the University. The staff was fantastic, and the rooms were neat and tidy. Loved having a view of the little creek behind the hotel, with a little duck family living out their best life. Just like my daughter and I. Will be staying here again in the future. Go Ducks!

Very basic motel in extremely convenient location for the university of Oregon (across the crosswalk is the main entrance) Clean and comfortable room and beds. The only negative was the interior lighting - if you are someone who wears makeup, bring your own lighted makeup mirror (otherwise you will be under fluorescent lights) otherwise a great find and we will be back.

I was unimpressed with the no garbage service. They only empty trash every three days. This also means there is no replenishing of coffee and supplies every three days. Unacceptable for this price.

Strictly base my review on our room we stayed in, the “family suite”. You will be off the beaten path down a dirty staircase to an ally that has a weird creepy house RIGHT next to your front door. You are the only room down there. You cannot even access that ally to make it convenient for all your stuff to bring. When asked about that weird house right next to us she explained it’s part of the hotel so not to worry. How can you not worry?!? I asked to move but they didn’t have anything else for us. The room is not what is pictured! The ceilings are very low! The bathroom is even lower with a small sink and even smaller shower. I literally had to duck to take a shower. If this is a legit family room as advertised then why such a small bathroom?! Do not stay in this room!!!! So strange!!!!

While the property is a bit dated, it is very clean and the staff are friendly. The location is wonderful - you can walk right on to campus. It is a bit far from downtown (it would be a long walk), but if you are staying for the university, it is a great location.

All of the electrical wall sockets were bad. Nothing would stay plugged in…phone charger, iron, hair dryer. Annoying. The room was clean, but there was no light near the closet. It is an older property in the University area.

Rooms are very old, and ours was stinky. A musty/old smell to it. Bathroom needs updating... just old. We paid a 4-star price for a 2-star room. But... loved the location & easy access to Hayward Field.

The place was clean and quiet. I work remotely and I was able to do my work without interruptions in a comfortable environment. My daughter is at the university and I was able to walk to her dorm with ease. The front desk was easy to speak with and very accommodating when I needed assistance with my garbage. Typically we stay here 3-4 times a year and it's great. This time the breakfast had very limited choices. During the evening there were drunk people fighting outside and in the morning a homeless person sleeping in front of our room. I was disappoonted as typocally we are very pleased
