The lobby area was very cute and crisp and clean. The room was mostly updated aside from the shower floor and wall tile it looked like it had seen better days, my daughter actually debated showering in her socks. The shower curtain was stained/dirty along the bottom and the shower leaks all over the bathroom floor when so beware and lay down some towels. Our air conditioner also leaked during the night and we stepped in puddles in the morning. The windows in the room gave a beautiful view of the mountains despite the windows being filthy. They were so so dirty I was wishing I had supplies to clean them. We did have a balcony off our room and it was also very dirty. Breakfast (muffins yogurt coffee) doesn’t start until 7:00 and I went down ahead of time in hopes for coffee and it was not out yet. There are no elevators so beware if they may impact your stay. Overall the stay was okay. Nothing was terrible. The staff were very friendly and kind.

The Outpost looks to be recently remodeled- very cute mid century modern style to the room. Our room did not have any hangers which was a bummer since we couldn’t hang our clothes. Otherwise overall a pretty great place!

My bathroom door wouldn’t close. Random footprint found in my bathroom floor. Loud party one night and no staff around to quiet them down. Felt unsafe. I left one day early.

Im not the one to write negative reviews but the hotel room that was given to us was filthy

The breakfast was simple yogurt, granola and delicious muffins. The room was comfortable and we loved the patio/balcony. There were 2 minor issues with the room, but we were taken care of by Nicky, the morning manager. The neighbors were loud, but not duing sleeping hours. We had 2 amall issues with the room, but Nicky was very helpful!

Awesome place to stay ….clean friendly and close to town

The staff was excellent. I left my iPad in the room after checking out and driving to the airport. Within an hour I received a call from Nicki at the front desk letting me know I left it and how it can be returned through a special service. I appreciate that the housekeeper turned in my lost item and the assistance from the front desk. Very professional and honest. beds so so Didn't have a car so had to rely on the shuttle.

-All 4 pillows were way too big and too firm, which made them unusable for sleeping. It'd be nice if 2 were thinner. -Lobby hours said it opened at 0700 for breakfast, but all lights were off and door was locked. There were about 5 people waiting and one called the number on the door. The night guy then came back to setup breakfast and open up (which was good on him), hopefully he got paid some OT. Not sure where the morning person was at. This only happened to me once, but someone in the group said it happened to them 2 nights before as well.

location for two out of the three days there was no internet or tv. We we're first told it was a power outage then we we're told it was water damage. Maintenance was always working on it never saw a maintenance person.

Updated old school feel. Fine for the cost.

Overall good area to stay in. I booked this hotel because I wanted to give it a chance despite all the reviews but it was not what I expected or hoping for. You have to go to other location to use the pool, bonfire area, restaurant. The bed had regular sheets instead of fitted sheets so it was uncomfortable to sleep on. They barely have any free breakfast options.

Breakfast was suppose to be open at 7, at 7:30 it still was not open

Cleanliness of property. Parking was a little hard to come by
-
It was clean Poor parking, needs some maintenance on the stairs and balcony

Located in such a great area, not far from downtown Estes Park but just far enough to be away from the busy tourist town. Free Bike rentals with my reservation and beautiful rooms. TV wifi was not yet set up so we could not stream our shows, and there was no microwave in our room. These are by no means deal breakers though.

The room is remodeled. But the heater was out. When we checked in, waited 15 mins no one showed up. We left for dinner, when we came back still no one there, no message how to contact.

Great location with a very quick drive to main street. Great views from the balcony.

The interior of this hotel has been recently redone with tile floors and has a very European feel. I love that there is shelving - like an entire bookshelf - in the bathroom area for storing all of your travel gear and suitcases. When I checked in, they gave me a little brochure explaining how to use the room amenities along with QR codes for the websites to nearby attractions. I think one of my favorite things is that the room came with a softsided cooler that could be filled up with bottled water and ice in the lobby to take hiking. High altitude can really dehydrate you, so I love it that they are taking care of the physical well-being of their guests. Comfy bed and quiet. Cute place. Will definitely stay here again.
