Update the elevator certificate please it’s expired and unsafe

This was a great choice for us to stay in the convenient suburbs, with easy access to downtown and O'Hare. The property was clean and quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed nearby local walking trails, the gym, pool and hot tub.
- 5/5
Would for sure stay again. Everything clean and well taken care of.
- 4/5
The elevator seemed a little “jerky” and the latest inspection certificate was 2024. Nothing catastrophic to report and I would stay there again, but it was not the best Hilton I’ve visited.
- 4/5
My only complaint would be about breakfast. We had already paid in full for the room. It would have been nice if there was a complimentary breakfast like several of the surrounding hotels had.

Very clean hotel. Cafe on the property was a bonus.
- 5/5
Very clean, and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay but if I had to pick one thing that I didn’t like: They didn’t have a microwave in the room and people like to warm up their food after a nap and after grabbing some take-out. The location of the public microwave is a little inconvenient.

Great hotel
- 3/5
The staff were super nice and helpful even with a snafu at check in as their systems had just recently been updated. Room was large and clean, however the noise from the road/highway right next to the hotel was very annoying. If you have a room on that side and are a light sleeper like me; be prepared for loud noise from cars, trucks, motorcycles, ect. all day/night. Unfortunately, we will not stay again as it was not as close to our daughter's college campus as we had originally thought.
- 4/5
Check in was great Hotel clean. My biggest issue with my stay is that I booked through Expedia. For some reason I thought I had booked for two nights instead of one. Instead of a phone call, they packed all my belongings in a garbage bag and had them at the front desk. Nothing was missing, so I give them credit for that. When I asked if another room was available, they said I had to do it online. I ended up going to another hotel.
- 1/5
The location I didn’t sleep at all the first night bc the AC kept turning on with an extremely loud slamming noise then turning off every 15 mins. I was unable to turn it off also if I turned it off it would have been too hot

Clean room.

Pillows on the bed were paper thin and clumpy. One of the lamps didn’t work, the remote for the tv didn’t work, the bed made noise every time you moved. Too much riff-raff there - for the clientele that are there you may as well get a room at a Motel 6. Never again.
- 5/5
Couldn't fault anything. Room nice and quiet with nice view at the back of the hotel. Staff extremely kind and helpful. Thank u. X Nothing
- 5/5
Everyone was helpful and professional.
- 5/5
Good location
- 4/5
The walls and door are very thin, so noise from the hallway travels right into the room.

Always a pleasure to stay here. Very comfortable beds!

The "in-room sensor" on the thermostat operates poorly like a TEMU purchased device. This can be an issue on extreme temperature days.
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
Heat was getting hot
- 5/5
Always a great place to stay, super comfortable bed.
- 4/5
The Bistro has a very limited menu and the prices are extremely high. Other than that the stay was great.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing, everyone was very polite and helpful. My family and I had a wonderful time.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and was reasonable priced
- 5/5
Great property!
- 2/5
On the other hand, all of the front desk staff and the bar/restaurant staff were friendly, courteous and generally great. The hotel seems dingy and in need of an overhaul. I have stayed at this property quite a few times but doubt that I will stay at this hotel in the future. D P Gatlin
- 5/5
Veronica at the desk was very nice and helpful. Grounds very clean. Hotel very very clean. Rooms very clean and smelled clean. Nice showers. Only thing I could suggest is getting better pillows. Or bring your own. Other than that I recommend it.
- 4/5
Room clean the drop ceiling needs replaced . And the traffic side rooms are loud need to replace windows!
- 5/5
Absolutely amazing ❤️
- 5/5
Everything was great the only thing that is a no go, is the food. Get it elsewhere lol, no offense to them but it just gets put in like a microwave and heated up. I almost even prefer a breakfast buffet. I will say this was for breakfast only.
- 2/5
First room had bugs. Was switched to another room guy says “well it’s that time of year” like no, these things are flying everywhere. Room I was given on the main floor thermostat wouldn’t go over 69 degrees.
- 3/5
We could get the thermostat to remain at a constant temperature.. we were cold all night

Lovely! I was greeted with a water bottle and chips. Staff was wonderful. The restaurant was nice and worth it.

My friends and I booked 5 rooms to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. We specifically booked this hotel because the discerption said heated pool and hot tub. When I called to see if i can get connecting rooms they said they’ll add the request to the notes. The day before the reservation i called to verify thats possible. This time i was told i need to change room types because the rooms i booked do not connect. I was told the hotel cant change my reservation because i booked through a 3rd party. When i connected hotels.com i was informed in order to change room types i have to pay a cancellation fee and rebook at currents rates even tho the hotel was practically empty. Even though i was irritated, i figured we probably wont spend much time in the room anyway since the kids will be in the pool. After all at the time i called and verified the heated pool and hot tub were working. Imagine my surprise when during check in i was told the hot tub has been broken for a while. Later on we found out the pool was freezing cold!!!! Awful experience!!!!
- 5/5
Everything was amazing!
- 5/5
Room was clean and tidy as expected
- 2/5
It was hard to sleep with the loud sounds of the heating system coming on and going off all night. Sounded like the alarm on the elevator down the hall and then when the blower kicked in it was the loudest white noise, until it stopped and the switch was startling. Irritating.
- 4/5
I liked the parking, the pool and hot tub and the lobby was inviting. I didn’t like that the room had no microwave, the sidewalk and parking lot needed to be salted, it was icy. They also put me on a floor with a group of people that rented out the whole floor. They were drunk and arguing the entire night and morning. But it was new years so I didn’t even complain. But the room was clean and the general manager was nice so that was a plus.
- 2/5
The jacuzzi wasn’t hot at all nor cleaned looked like lake water! Heat in the room barely was working
- 1/5
Literally came for the pool with my kids, only to find a nasty green hot tub and dirty ice cold pool. No breakfast included. Options were pricey and limited.
- 4/5
we love this place for a stay cation or a quick weekend getaway, however there are some people that come that don’t know how to act properly and ruin it for well-behaved guests. The front desk is very polite and professional. We do enjoy staying here most of the time.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean room

I had a bad night room was cold heat wasn’t working & went to the desk & was told it was nothing t they could because I book through a third party so I left the hotel early without even gettn sleep I was so cold the lady at the front told me to come back at 7 & still nothing was done
- 5/5
Always a great place to stay in the Elmhurst area.
- 5/5
Great stay as always
- 5/5
Clean rooms, great staff (really helpful and friendly), great facilities. Perfect for business travel, but amenities make it good for families traveling as well.
- 5/5
The room was spotless and the people at the front desk remembered me from my recent visit. This is a really well run, very nice, very comfortable hotel that is probably the only consistently reasonably priced hotel for 50 miles in any direction.

- 4/5
Good hotel. Parking was good. Breakfast was not included.
- 5/5
The property and rooms are very nice and well kept. The price was very good, especially in the Chicagoland area. What stood out the most, time and time again was the employees. Every single worker there greeted us with a great attitude and a smile; every single worker we encountered (a total of 7) went above and beyond normal expectations. It really was noticable and very impressive!
- 5/5
Just one night it was quiet clean and I liked the fan sound and how it worked I blasted the heat and it was loud so if there was any noise wouldn’t hear jt
- 5/5
Loved everything! I especially enjoyed sitting by the fireplace with a glass of wine and a snack from the bistro. Your bathroom design with sturdy shower doors and all the necessary items like shampoo, conditioner and baby wash are small luxuries to a weary traveler.
- 4/5
They did not provide Breakfast
- 5/5
Clean and friendly
- 2/5
Nice room and furnishings BUT NO free Coffee service in morning, only a guy in sweatshirt playing on phone I had to beg for a cup of coffee. No flavored creamer, $5. My wife and I could not get service for breakfast while the same guy cooked BF for two employees. Service was not only bad, it was non-existent
- 5/5
Clean room, very modern and spacious.
- 1/5
Beware of catfish. Photos look nothing like the real thing. After the lobby everything seems very dated. For the price, i expected more. Wood panels for the headboard falling apart, was told during check in that heat system was recently serviced, blew lukewarm air all night, only to be told during checkout that i have to request vip mode for the heat to stay on all night because it was motion activated. Outdated room, loose plug sockets, old tv with maybe 12 channels, no apps. Refrigerator barely got cold. Didn’t meet expectations, which was surprising for Marriott
- 5/5
No complaints
- 5/5
From start to finish a great stay! Room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze. Everyone was very friendly. Favorite place to stay when I come in to town to see grandkids.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Parking safe, our car was visible from our room. Friendly staff.

Room was clean and staff was very accommodating.

Nardia was super sweet and made my stay extra special by being so friendly and kind. She is such a gem to this establishment and they should be happy to have a staff member that greets their guests with great hospitality. Thanks!

Great hotel .. great staff
- 4/5
Decent option for suburbs, easy access to multiple highways

I canceled this hotel because it’s horrible and I need someone to call me from Expedia because I had to take different hotel so this hotel Baymont I did not use at all
- 1/5
The toilet wasn’t working properly every time we flushed it spilled water.
- 5/5
Very pleasant stay!
- 5/5
Great spot over all they just make bigger trash cans in the room.
- 5/5
Property was very nice
- 4/5
Good, clean rooms but no water provided in room. Infact there is no free drinking water on the property, you are forced to buy one. There is a laundry room which needs coins to operate the machines but there is no coin dispensing machine and front desk doesn’t carry any coins.
- 5/5
Room clean and even next to elevator, we did not have any room noises!

First impression was off putting because the porch was leaking and there was a nest where the bird was startled by us. decor is dated in the common areas. The room was clean but the elevator and hallways were not as clean
- 5/5
Great place to stay.
- 5/5
Old rooms. Hard bed. No microwave and a broken semi cold refrigerator.
- 5/5
Comfortable room
- 5/5
Hotel offers a breakfast menu and dinner menu, scheduled times only. Nice pool & hot tub definitely outdated and over use on the chlorine but definitely needed if a whole day of travelling. Locates Off highway, about 30 min to chicago, an 1hr with traffic depending on where you're going. Located in cute little town with good food selection.
- 5/5
Great place to stay!
- 5/5
Pool and hot tub. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff was very cautious of my diabetes so very grateful.
- 2/5
There is no USB port, no locker to keep valuables
- 5/5
Accessible
- 3/5
The drive in was bad unless you were coming from the north, however, we came in from the south and had to drive over 4 sleeping policemen in order to get to the hotel. The coffee pot was broken so I had to go to the bistro and get coffee, the banana that I got for my wife was rotten on the inside. We have a handicap sticker and it was great until Saturday nite, when we came back from our party, there was a band playing, the parking lot was full and someone, without a sticker was parked in the handicapped parking!
- 5/5
Proximity of venue
- 3/5
I was not able to sleep as people were loud and rowdy in nearby room until 3:15 am. I called twice to complain.
- 2/5
The fire alarm went off twice one was during dinner and we were stuck outside freezing for 30 minutes. Our food was cold and nothing was done. The hot tub was not working
- 3/5
Property is inconveniently located away from a lot of shops and stores. Not a lot of good shops in walkable distance. However, if you like simple park walks, the hotel is conveniently located next to salt creek. Heating units can be quite loud, and the walls are kind of thin (so if you get someone yelling upstairs or adjacent, you can hear them vaguely). The staff are mostly nice. Be prepared to pay an additional fee, as they hold 50/night to cover payable amenities (however they promise to return it if not used).
- 3/5
The property was clean and seemed safe. The staff was nice and always present. The heating cooling s

Very nice staff. Also a nice clean and quiet place to stay. Cool pool area too.
- 5/5
Decent properly to stay
- 4/5
it was easy to get to from the airport, very clean and organized.
- 1/5
The manager was very rude and not helpful at all.
- 5/5
I was reminded if I want an early check in I need to call in advance. However the front desk women did allow me to check in early. I did apologize for not calling 1st.
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Hotel was great, breakfast was good, and workers were sweet. Only downfall was that the pool was very cold, to the point where the kids were shivering almost un-swimmable.
- 5/5
Great place to stay!
- 5/5
The staff was very nice and met all of my accommodations. I certainly would go there again
- 5/5
The property was clean and the customer service was excellent
- 5/5
Nice property
- 5/5
Location, clean. Great staff.
- 4/5
Just what I needed after a busy day in Downtown Chicago.
- 4/5
The only thing i can complain about is the beds were not comfortable but the hotel was very nice and clean . Just hard time sleeping on the beds
- 3/5
This place was acceptable but not too great.
- 4/5
Great location and terrific facility. It was a bit difficult accessing the property because of divided highway 83.
- 5/5
My stay at the Courtyard Chicago Elmhurst was great! They were able to accommodate with a very last minute booking and were able to assist with a 2 hour early check in. The staff were friendly and always available to help. The room was nice, clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
I brought my young children to come swimming for a winter getaway. The pool is great with the connected hot tub to hop between. The pool itself is fairly warm too. Plenty of seating and towels. The staff was great, so friendly and attentive, every encounter. My only complaint would be the mattress was a bit too squishy for my liking and the parking lot had a lot of ice. Great hotel altogether though, we will be back.
- 1/5
I didnt like when I arrived in the room it was muggy n smelled bad only to find out it was a cabinet full of garbage overflowing out the small garbage can... no microwave in the room having to go down stairs multiple times, no breakfast, and toliets are to low to the floor.... I didn't like it at all
- 5/5
It was very calm and the pool/hot tub were relaxing.
- 5/5
We love it.
- 5/5
I stayed with my little kids and they had a great time! the pool was warm and the staff made sure we were comfortable at all times! beds were comfortable too!
- 4/5
The property itself is nice but it's tough to get around without a car. Maid service was spotty, but the amenities were really nice.
- 4/5
Location is great and easy to get to from airport to work location. Excellent staff
- 4/5
Hassle free experience
- 5/5
Comfortable and clean. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Very convenient to where we were going.
- 3/5
The bed is bad and the pillows are horrible. Not to mention the tv is not a smart tv and have no movie channels
- 5/5
My room was very clean, my kids enjoyed the pool.
- 4/5
Everything was gooid
- 4/5
The bed was firm just to firm for us. I wiah the toilet was a tall toilet. Pool hours were great and friendly staff
- 1/5
The shower and tub did not have working/running water. Checked in late at night, and then found that the shower didn’t work the next morning. Staff member did nothing to help other than say, “you should have told us last night and we could have given you a different room”. Unacceptable when the room cost $150. Still waiting to hear if there will be a refund as no one could give an answer.
- 4/5
It was convenient and clean
- 5/5
The ladies at the front desk were very pleasant and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Great place. Indoor pool was amazing.
- 5/5
We like the location.
- 5/5
One night stay. Was there for a concert at all state arena, it’s about a 20 minute drive. Had a pool and hot tub. Our room itself was good. They don’t have usb charging so bring your outlet block to charge your phone! The roll out table/desk was convenient for when we had dinner in the room. Great stay!
- 4/5
Mostly I love this place, close to family, great restaurants, shopping and ORD.
- 5/5
Clean and great size rooms
- 5/5
Very clean and friendly.
- 4/5
Location was difficult for walking to places.
- 1/5
I am embarrassed to say I was humiliated and disrespected at this property by housekeeping staff. I am a registered nurse and was staying here after a 16 hour shift to rest long enough to make it the hour drive home. I decided to go for a swim in the very nice jacuzzi and pool it was early and only one staff member was in the area. Although I am not of Hispanic decent the staff member assumes I wouldn’t understand Spanish. I in fact am bilingual and very clearly heard him loudly call me a horrible derogatory name. I stopped and made him away in Spanish I very clearly understand what was said and I as a paying guest and Marriott member and did nothing to deserve being spoke to like that especially just minding my own buisness. I did not feel safe and cut my stay short and tiredly drove home upset with no apology or consideration of my feelings or money spent to be treated like this.
- 5/5
Overpriced mediocre food, not many options. That's my only complaint...
- 3/5
Disappointed. Was looking forward to having a small restaurant with bar and good seating area in the hotel. But, it was not open Mon. or Tues. the nights we were there. Although there were very good restaurants close by, I would have rather not have had to travel to them because of parking. Also, what is the deal with HOT water. Seems like every hotel only has WARM water.
- 5/5
Exellent
- 2/5
Decided to “treat” myself to a decent, REPUTABLE hotel for my trip. Marriott is supposed to be!!! No complementary breakfast?!? All the lesser popular chains offer one!!! For the price I’d EXPECT one!!! Fridge in room did not function. Ice machine on every other floor?!? EXTREMELY poorly marked entrance to get to the hotel (small sign immediately after a busy intersection, thru a restaurant parking lot, over very large speed bumps… room was ok, staff helpful but cannot recommend! Will stay elsewhere on my next trip
- 5/5
Just Divine!

- 5/5
The staff here is always wonderful, thank you.
- 3/5
I did not care for the pillows or the comfort level of the bed. I literally slept on about 6 pillows after having my room given away due to other complaints from other guests. I had two queen sized beds, but the bed was hard and it honestly felt like if I sat too hard on the bed it would break. The staff was absolutely amazing and did the very best they could to accommodate me! Brenda especially! She's great!
- 3/5
Bleach smell too strong through hallways and inside of elevators gives me a little headache and my lips dried
- 3/5
Bleech smell from the elevator floor is too strong. I got a light headache a while after using the elevator.

- 5/5
Nice and clean pool really clean really good
- 5/5
Nice property. Clean rooms. Outside patio area could have been spruced up a bunch.
- 5/5
The rooms were very clean, the beds were very comfortable, the staff were super friendly and helpful. Very close uber ride from downtown Elmhurst.
- 4/5
The only problem with this hotel is one of the elevators wasn’t working, and the other elevator was taking a very long time. I stay here often with my family for weekend getaways
- 1/5
Smelly . Ac not working. Horrible
- 4/5
Great hotel but you must stay on the back side as the front side is noisy from RT 83
- 4/5
Convenient location
- 2/5
No remote in the room Telephone not hooked up Disappointing
- 5/5
A great stay! Comfortable beds, friendly staff and even trails following a river in the back of the property! The pool looked fun too.
- 2/5
Beds are awful
- 5/5
Wonderful front desk reception. Nice property. Nice looking bar and bistro area.
- 4/5
Was up for a family event. Staff were so nice, our only complaint was the ac went out one night but the staff fixed it immediately. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Clean, spacious room. Makes me wish i was staying longer...
- 1/5
They have credited me a deposit of $500, which is still blocked in my account for no reason. On our staying, somebody entered our room, my haircutter was missing and was found on reception. I got no clear message why that happened.
- 1/5
terrible Marriott, unprofessional staff, bad area around hotel, cafeteria inside hotel will give you heartburn, don’t eat anything from there
- 5/5
The room was quiet and clean. Very nice hotel. Relatively inexpensive.
- 5/5
Clean hotel, restful.
- 4/5
Very friendly staff!!! Room stay able but noisy, you could hear people in the hallways talking, ac loud when kicked on and off, tv very fuzzy …
- 4/5
Central location. Well maintained. Good food at the Bistro.
- 5/5
Staff members were very pleasant, property was clean and well maintained, bed was comfortable, room temperature adjusted to my needs, and I really appreciated the proximity to the Salt Creek Greenway Trail.
- 5/5
Location was close to relatives we were visiting. Easy access to Elmhurst and 25 min. drive to OHare airport.
