I have not been to Ellenton since 2017. A lot has changed but Hampton Inn never fails. Great sleep, nice room and facilities.

The shower was a disappointment. The shower faucet didn’t work. The tub floor was slippery.

Clean and bright...pool is nice, gym too...only complaint is channel selection on tv.

The rooms are old and small. Breakfast was awful. There was no way you could have 500 kids and parents in such a small area. There’s really no point even offering breakfast.

The next day they tried to get us in early and we decided to visit a family member and came back later. When we came back and got our room...it was perfect. We had chosen the optional upgrade if it was available. We lucked out...it was available!! The room was way above perfect. It was clean, roomy, and it had evrrything we wanted. We are now Hilton members. And I have this hotel to thank. Excellent hotel.

Breakfast selections and quality of food was good, facility was clean and well maintained except for an issue with there being no cold water on the last day of my stay.

Our room was clean as well as the halls. Breakfast was hot and delicious. I loved the lemon water available throughout the day. In addition, the warm cookies was the icing on the cake.... well cookies!

Breakfasts at hotels have been getting worse over the past few years. Yours is no different. Yes... It is convenient and the area is clean... however, it is far from healthy and it appears to be even more institutional that one would expect. Nothing looks good...

The room was clean, and we didn't feel like we were relegated to a "pet" room (that never feels or smells fully clean). This was great, and we were right near the stairs and side entrance, which made it easy to get our dogs out the door.

We stayed there during an IMG soccer tournament weekend and we’re pleasantly surprised to be included on the welcome board for the event as you walk in. The check-in associate was extremely welcoming and made sure we still got our Hilton points even though we booked through Expedia and even had complimentary bottled waters for us which was perfect so we didn’t have to stop in the morning on the way to our first game (we checked in at 1am). Atmosphere was very clean and they even had an area for snack/drink purchases in the lobby. Also had an ice maker we could fill our son’s water bottles at. Highly recommend and will absolutely stay there again next year.

I won’t be staying here again. First of all it was a cold spell here in Florida and no heat in the room. I called the front desk and the manager said “ Most of these rooms don’t have heat. Just turn it off and it will warm up in there”. Really?? What an idiot. So I was cold throughout my entire stay. Also, I have never been to a hotel where the cleaners are so noisy! Talking loud and yelling in the hallway, slamming things around in the rooms. If you aren’t awake by 8:30am, the housekeepers will make sure they make enough noise to wake you. And let’s not get started about the slamming of doors! All evening and all morning - door slams every few minutes

Our only complaint was that on of check-in there was a strong smell of sewage in the hallways. This resolved the next day.

No hot water the first night we were there or the second morning. Had upgraded to jacuzzi suite but couldn’t use it due to water issue. Unfortunately, I booked through Expedia rather than going to directly to the Hilton site to book so they could not refund my money. They offered to refund one night worth of points, but I’m still awaiting those to be reflected on my Hilton app.

The room was fine except when I tried to turn on the heat (as the temperatures had dropped) a very odd smell of smoke came out of the unit so I turned it off.

I’ve stayed in Hampton before and was one of the reasons I chose this on and was very disappointed. Ended up eating out. NOT up to Hilton standards.

The premium outlet shopping mall is very close. The pool was super clean and refreshing. Did not care for the room air freshener scent. Breakfast was hot and varied as i was there for 3days. Nice property.

Pet friendly. Room seemed go have a little water damage on the ceiling and wall that was mostly repaired, but it was not musty or smelly, just a little bit of an eye sore. Pool was great. Had several cabanas you could sit under. Had a little store you could get snacks, drinks, and anything you forget. Close to lots of food and the premium outlets. Only issue I ran into was that they wouldnt let the second guest in the room charge 2 waters to the room on his way in even though he had a key, room number, and name on the reservation. So I had to get back out of bed and go get them at midnight.

I like the location, because i like to shop at the Elenton Outlet mall and it's nearby.

Some vehicles got broken into on the hotel property. Mine did not. Better security like, lighting, security camera would be a deterrent. My room was clean but the bathroom had broken bathroom tile. The shower faucet could have worked better.

The entire stay experience was great, the only slight negative was that one of the queen beds in the room was VERY squeaky and noisy.

This was my first stay. It's pretty decent. Very clean hotel overall. Room was good enough for a 1 night stay. Toilet flushed slow and tub was a little clogged but there was a nice size fridge and small microwave in the room as well. Pool area is cool and the morning breakfast was better than expected. I'd revisit.

I thought I booked my stay for seven days, when actually it was booked for only six days. As soon as I realized, I went to the front desk and Crystal was a lifesaver helping me rebook our room for one more night with ease. The rooms are spacious and clean. I would definitely stay at this location again.

The first night at check-in seemed fine. However, after a 12-hour shift the next day, I returned to find my room key no longer worked. When I went to the front desk, I was greeted with a casual, "Hey, this is the guest in room XYZ," which felt both unprofessional and dismissive after such a long day. I was then informed that the team member who checked me in had mistakenly marked me as a "no-show," locking me out of my room entirely. This internal error could have easily been corrected earlier in the day. A simple courtesy call or text asking me to stop by the front desk, with a new key ready, would have saved me time and unnecessary frustration—and would have demonstrated the level of service I’ve come to expect from Hilton. The following day brought more issues: a broken toilet and no hot water. I notified the front desk and was told the hot water issue was building-wide and that maintenance would fix the toilet promptly. After another long workday, I returned to find the toilet still broken. This time, a courteous manager personally addressed the issue, which I appreciated. But once again, I was left waiting outside my room while the staff corrected a problem that should have already been handled. Despite asking for the General Manager to contact me,

The bathroom had hair on the shower walls. The pillow looked used on one of the beds and there was white powder on the carpet. Not sure it was vacuumed.

Clean property, comfortable beds. Good variety for breakfast, but I expected a bit more options. For example, no dairy-free milk, no non-flavored coffee creamer. Overall, we were still able to have a decent breakfast, and I appreciated that coffee is offered all day. The rooms aren't too soundproof; we could clearly hear the TV next door. The rooms were clean and comfortable and had all the amenities that we needed. Very friendly staff.

I have stayed there before when we had the hurricane last year. The place is very accommodating. That people are awesome. There's no complaints on my side.

Other than the extreme road construction it was great. Great location. Close to Starbucks and many other places, as well as, the freeway it was clean, quiet and very comfortable. I’d recommend this property to anyone, and I’d stay there again, if in the area.

The stay was good, comfortable, clean and staff was friendly. However all of this was tainted by the homeless crack addicts hangong out in and around the property. This gave it an unsafe vibe. Allowing them to eat in the dining room is off putting.

This was a decent stay for us. I feel like this particular location needs some updating and maintenance done. Some of our fixtures in the bathroom were rusty and there was a few moisture spots on the ceiling, stains on the lamp shades. Not the Hampton inn I remember so fondly. The bed wasn’t as comfortable as I remembered either.The woman who checked us in was extremely kind and helpful though. Breakfast was good.I’d probably choose a holiday inn next time though.

Room was clean. Staff were friendly. There was a couple of guests that were arguing in the hallway for a while in the middle of the night. That was not cool. Very industrial part of town but very close to interstate.

The front desk attendants were wonderful and helpful. However the walls are thin and the hallways are loud when anyone is walking past. You can hear every door slam and conversation between people passing. The room next to us had a very loud man talking on his phone (on speaker) we could hear both sides of the conversation for more than 2 hours. At midnight I asked the front desk to ask him to quiet down. They did but the guy talked for another hour. At 1:00 AM I called front desk and they came and asked him again. He finally was quiet but I still couldn’t sleep well. I won’t book here again. Not for $375 a night!
