Surprisingly comfortable stay with incredibly friendly staff. I'd definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying here. The staff were very nice and the bed was super comfy, especially the pillows. We rested well and grabbed some complimentary coffee and snacks for the road.

The woman checking us in was nice and efficient. The room was what I would expect for the price. Lots of pieces of wall coming off including a couple of fixtures during our stay. The blanket was old and stained. The fridge did work, the heater did not. HBO was nice. Definitely needs a remodel but cheap. You get what you pay for.

It is a low cost motel and the new owners continue to make improvements. They have upgraded the beds and are redoing the bathrooms. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. They serve a grab and go breakfast.

Tonya was amazing and she is the reason we will be back in October and next race season. The place under some renovation so that’s nice, so the dust and debris I won’t complain about but the cigarette smoking outside is bad we can smell it in our room. The breakfast could be better, it’s just a few fruits, juice, dry cereal and a pastry. Other than that it’s a good quiet place.

Only thing I didn't like, and this has been a problem with other locations I've stayed, is the toilets are too small.

The rooms were very clean especially for an old refurbished hotel. The breakfast could have been better. It was just cold cereal and fruit. There was no breads for toast, and there was no protein available.

Iv'e stayed here many times. Every time I come to Elko, I stay here. It's the best value in town. All good.

Large, clean room but a few issues that would prevent me from staying there again. The chairs in the room were old and dirty, the refrigerator cabinet was worn out and when I looked behind it there was so much dust and dirt and doubt if they’d vacuumed there in the last 2 years. And when I registered the front desk clerk warned me the internet would probably not work in the room and I would probably have trouble opening the door with the key card. It worked the first night, but sure enough, on my way back from breakfast I could not get back in my room and had to get a new card.

The thing that makes this place worthy of a nother dstay is the service. The manager went above and beyond to help give us a good stay. The current door locks are super-temperamental — but apparently are scheduled for replacement in Spring ‘26. Rooms are plenty clean, but could use a bit more cosmetic work.

Property was dated, but clean. All furniture, door hardware, lights, etc. were worn but functional. Bed was comfortable. Perfect for a solo traveler with minimal expectations. Area was quiet--this is where working people who have to get up a 4 AM stay.

A bed and pillow for 50 bucks what can you really expect? The room could have used some freshening up, and the TV had it's wires and TV box dangling from the wall. Remote was tricky to use properly, but there wasn't much interesting to watch anyway. Otherwise, it was a room to sleep so for the money, and a one night stay it was fine.

It was "ok" for the money. Old Hotel. Brown water came out of faucet when first turned on. Could not get TV to work. Needed place to sleep and it worked.

The room was spacious and clean. The beds were soft. I felt totally safe in the parking lot, through I wouldn't have wanted to walk down the street alone late at night.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. We stayed for 2 nights and slept well. The hotel is older, and has been updated. This is a very good value. I would definitely stay here again.

I was in a car accident and was towed to this property. I had a concussion and stayed pretty much in my room. The owners were really nice and checked on me to make sure I was okay. I really appreciated their kindness!

There had been water damage, one corner of the room. The wallpaper was peeling off and it smelled like mold. It was quite unbearable, but I had some natural bug spray that smelled like lemon that helped tremendously. It needs extensive updating.

We're always happy to stay at the Rodeway when we visit Elko. Convenient, reasonably priced, enjoy the owners. I like the fact that the shower/bathrooms have had a recent capital upgrade and I like them.

We like staying here each time we have to pass through the ELKO area. There are some really nice and affordable restaurants just a quick walk away and then it is off the main road, so it is pretty quiet and safe. The only downside is no pool, but that's okay

The beds were comfortable but who ever made them needs a lesson in clean corners. The staff was friendly and accommodating. When we had trouble with our key the desk clerk came up with me and help. There was a coffee pot but nothing to make coffee with or cups and the normal condiments. It’s an older motel and desperately needs updating.

We really like the Rodeway Inn as a place to crash when we are on a business trip. The rates are always some of the lowest in the area. It's not a high end property, we know that, and like the price because it's not a high end property. I like the shower upgrades that you've done. There's a little construction going on east of the property so it's a little messy right now.

The owners are awesome. They flagged me down when I was leaving to give me something I had left behind. I arrived after a grueling all day drive that had aggravated an ankle injury. They didn’t have anything on first floor but when they saw me hobbling back to my car, they rearranged things to put me kn first floor. Overall nice folks, too.

I picked Rodeway because it was very affordable. I got a good nights sleep, it had a nice shower and I was able to wake refreshed to continue on with my trip.

The room was quiet and the bathroom had a window that opened and for some reason, that seems rare! I enjoyed my three night stay and was able to relax and stay in the room during the day. No one bothered me and when i had a question or need the staff was helpful; he was the owner I believe. Pleasant place. Will return!

Generally this place is better than expected for a basic, no frills hotel. Easy access, centrally located and a good size parking lot. Only complaint I had wasnt sure how long it had been since the coffee machine was cleaned. Found old coffee in the machine and didnt risk using it.

the property was on a busy strip so it was noisy. the pillows were hard as rocks and the fridge was a little dirty on the inside. the ac unit is my biggest complaint. the air was off when I got there so it was really hot in the room. being that the unit was old it took 2 days for the room to cool down so it was hard for me to sleep. overall I give it a 5 out of 10.

Motel was clean and safe which is what I require for overbites when I’m driving. Room was old, could use some repair and TLC. Bed was comfortable, microwave and fridg is great. Service was very good, check in easy and friendly. Nice continental breakfast was good. Would be nice to have a little protein, something easy maybe boiled eggs. Overall nice place for a stop over, good price.

You get what you pay for at this economy motel. Pillows are very uncomfortable. Not the best room layout. Flooring didn't feel the best.

For the price, it was clean and comfortable. The front desk was courteous and even had a lovely story about my home town. We were thankful to find a clean space that was not too expensive.

The hotel had 4 rooms that were out of commission so we were booked down the street at another facility. was inconvenient to have to move and to be farther away from downtown which is why we booked Rodeway in the first place.

This is my go-to place for one or two nights stays in elko. The management is extremely nice and helpful. The property is always clean and the beds are comfortable. Great location with easy access to everything in Elko and just a few minutes from Interstate 80. The Mexican restaurant across the street is a local gym as is the coffee mug restaurant just two blocks away

Older property on the main street, nicely remodeled. Helpful and friendly staff. Traffic noise died down after about 10 pm, so not a problem sleeping. Convenient restaurant options.

Check-in and check-out was very easy and the owner was super friendly and helpful. There was also space in the lot next door for us to park our truck with a trailer on it, which was extremely convenient. Overall, really happy with our stay here!

This was an overnight stay for my husband and son as they were traveling from California to Utah. The rate was great, the beds were comfortable, and the owners were friendly. They were happy with their stay.

Basic motel centrally located. Nice proprietor. Main street gets totally quiet after 10 pm. Good value.

An older hotel but quiet and the room was large. The room was chilly and didn’t have heat, but the nice man at the front desk provide a space heater. All in all for the price it’s worth staying there.

Big room I like

I’m not comparing this establishment to an upscale hotel. If you want a comfortable nights sleep in a clean room you will be pleased. It is a very old motel, but has been updated nicely. There is a small refrigerator/freezer and coffemaker. No microwave. The breakfast consists of packaged sweet rolls, cereal, coffee, hot chocolate etc but you would have to take it to your room to eat. The owner is very pleasant. We had a good nights sleep in a safe and friendly environment and that is what we were looking for.

Everything about the hotel was good. Well maintained exterior. Rooms were clean and nicely appointed. Rooms were spacious with ample seating for dressing and setting your luggage. Bathroom was clean, decent sized and had a fully tiled walk in shower, which happens to be nicer than my own at home. All bathroom fixtures were modern and efficient. All in all a perfect way to spend the last night of a week long trip from California to Wisconsin and back!
