I am not sure that I have ever seen a hotel staff as helpful as this group. The rooms were very nice . Breakfast was different every day! Really from the top down or the bottom up. Everyone was very helpful and friendly!!!!!

Front desk was fast and efficient and very pleasant. The room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Love this location. Still has coffee, and water cups in the rooms, soft water for showers, and there aren’t excessive cameras (in the elevators, etc)!! It felt like a good family vacation/business stay hotel, as apposed to a 5-star prison. I mention it because we stayed in another city the night before, same company owned hotel, and felt very different about our stay. Breakfast was good, staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Perfect location. And close to everything.

Hotel was a little beat up. Blinds in room were torn and would not work. TV only worked intermittently. Beds harder than usual. We usually stay at Holiday Inn Express, but we will not be revisiting this Elko location

The smoke detector is between the beds and flashes white and green lights 8 times per minute!! Unbelievably bad design to put it there to disturb sleeping guests! I had to get some tape and napkins from the front desk to try to block out the lights standing on my bed to reach it. Only partially successful.

Our only issue with the room was the bathroom door. I went to use it, and the door would not budge until I pulled really hard. It was sticking on the ground. This would be a terrible room for any elderly people as it was a difficult door to open and close. We ended up just leaving it halfway open, which meant we had to squeeze between the door and sink to get into and out of the bathroom. If we had stayed more than one night, I probably would have asked for a new room. Breakfast was good with several options. Overall, it was a good place to stay.

breakfast variety was good, but it is understaffed. We had to wait about 15 minutes because everything was empty. The reason is that there is ONE girl to had to go EVERYTHING. She stocked the food, cooked the food, cleaned the tables, emptied the trash. She was fantastic. But, she was doing 4 jobs. That's ridiculous. Shame on the hotel management.

Cleanliness of buildings and grounds was exemplary. Staff was friendly and welcoming and were highly motivated to make travelers comfortable. The complimentary meals served on Tuesday and Thursday nights were superb and much appreciated. Michelli the manager was present and available. She has done an outstandting, job the excellence of her leadership is obvious by the performance of her staff.

The customer service was terrific. Best service in Elko, I’ve stayed at almost all the hotels and this was the best. The pool is perfect for kids! It was a little on the pricy side but you get what you pay for and I would 100% do it again.

The room was clean but more importantly when we realized we had left some items behind they held them and confirmed ID. Really appreciated it.

The lady at the Front desk was super nice and very helpful. Breakfast was supposed to start at 5am, I had to leave for a work presentation at 5:30 and Breakfast hadn't started, so that was a little disappointing. Was hoping to have a muffin and some juice before I had to leave.

The rooms were kept clean on first arrival. Staff on day of stay were very nice Any day that someone could have emptied trash, brought clean towels would have been so appreciated. I spoke with the housekeeping supervisor yesterday and asked him if someone could take out trash and give clean towels and he told me to tell the front desk. My Dad is here in the hospital at St Marks and I have noy had time to ask if someone could straighten my room up at least once while I stayed here. I leave early and come back after 10pm each night.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, the entire hotel was immaculately clean, the beds were comfortable.

the breakfast is the best I've seen. I paid more for a suite because I thought it had a separate bedroom (I snore). However, when I found out it did not have a separate room I was unable to downsize to a regular room. I would have preferred to downsize and save a little money, which didn't happen.

Everything was excellent. Maintained at the same high standards I have come to appreciate after several stays here. Staff was welcoming and as always made me feel at home. Very comfortable, clean and welcoming. I did notice one area that could use some attention however. The exterior grounds and parking area could use some attention as regards cleanliness. Nothing major, but starting to show that some attention to detail would be helpful in presenting the best first impression of your fine establishment.

Fairly well maintained hotel, continental breakfast was good, area was easy to get to. Blankets had a smell to it on one of the beds but other than that, was clean.

People/staff were friendlt and kind. The hotel had areas that needed maintenance; loose tiles on floor in lobby and elevator area, only 1 working ice machine for the building. Pool was cold. Beds were firm and lumpy/divit. Breakfast area had broken waffle machine and seemed low staffed the 3 days we were there evidenced by empty fiod ( eggs, bacon sausage, cinnamon rolls) not refilled in the time we were eating.

2. In the morning went to take a shower and neither Glass door would open without major difficulty. I seriously had to lift the glass door in order to get into the shower. 3. Upon check out I reported this to the front desk person, who said they would put it on a repair list. My issue was the lack of compensation and acknowledgment that how did house cleaning clean this shower from the person before ? As a homeowner I know glass doors can come off their track, but this was different. I could not get them to work in any proper fashion. Yes please asking manager to contact me contact me. Sam

Only complaint was at breakfast, eggs cold and some hot meal items were empty. Everything else about our one night stay was excellent.

This hotel doors not have hot water, we stayed twice, 2 weeks apart and both times there was no hot water at night. It was luke warm in the morning, not warm enough to shower.

It’s exactly what you expect. The Holiday Inn Express has an awesome formula. The parking was a little tight in front.

Clean, inviting hotel. Breakfast included is a must for our family so we always stay at HIE, we know there is a level of good quality. Our room for the 2nd stay (on way back from Yellowstone) smelled slightly. Overall very good.

Excellent place to stay from arrival to checking out. Aspen greeted us late at night with cheer and accommodation. Gave us water bottles, goody bags to help us sleep and a rollaway bed very quick. The bed and sheets were excellent and probably going to be looking up to how to buy the pillow and sheets. Very clean. Excellent breakfast! Great water pressure but the shower curtain let some water run on the floor.

We weren't told the air-conditioning was broken and our room was 95 degrees feirinhiet. A waver of a roughly $12 service fee was a joke. They could have offered a meal or gambling credit; but, they didn't. The vending machines were out of service as were the ice machine and elevator (we were on the top floor). The bed was decent and the room was nicely furnished.

Excellent Experience and Stay! We were greeted by Shaun at the front desk who was very friendly and made our check in quick and easy! Our room was really nice! Bed was comfortable and shower was great! Next morning we enjoyed the continental breakfast selection and had friendly conversations with Meg and the sweet cleaning gals! Loved our stay!

The bed was broken, the toilet ran and had to be plunged.

This hotel was conveniently located next to I-80 and food options. There were some maintenance issues in the hotel (dryer, elevator, ice machine) but our room was comfortable and clean. What really stood out was the friendliness of the staff! When they saw you, they went out of their way to ask how you were doing and if you needed anything. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, the place was really nice, except for the bathroom in my room. The shower, especially had quite a lot of hair from a previous customer and was pretty grubby.

We stayed at the Elko Holiday Inn. Meg is an awesome employee. Stayed there in the beginning and the end of our vacation. Meg was there both times . It was quiet both times . Great breakfast choices. Not only did you have coffee for quest , there was Hot Chocolate. Very clean and very polite staff!

Check-in was easy and even fun because we got to spin the wheel for extra points. Just a little game the front desk clerk plays. The room was in excellent condition, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast the next morning was decent, not the best I’ve had, but still decent. All in all, this was a good place to stay in Elko. Probably fair to say one of the better hotels in Elko.

It’s all remodeled and looks new. The reception staff was so polite and welcoming! Very close 5mins walkable distance to Wingers restaurant which will be open till 10:00pm with plenty of options to dine.

My stay was good if it didn’t involve sleeping. The mattress was terrible! It needs to be taken out and burned.

The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. I was shocked from the moment I checked in at the cleanliness and friendliness. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious.

The staff here has been absolutely amazing. So accommodating and nice! Customer service was above and beyond. One staff member went out of her way to help me clean up a spill from my daughter and breakfast and made sure that my daughter didn’t feel bad about it. The two ladies at front desk treated us like family and the housekeeping staff were so amazing.

The night manager the first night I was there was truly exceptional!! He helped me print out a handout I needed early the next morning and then he made copies of it for me. I was so impressed by how helpful he was and his overall manner of behaviour--very professional and very helpful!
