Bland and boring breakfast. All I could watch was news on the TV. 11 channels out. Went to checkout and the person behind the desk was more interested in continuing his coversation on his phone than checking me out of the room.

I didn’t like the double key room booking though. Our first night there around 10-11pm while we were sleeping someone scan their key room card and tried to enter. But, good thing we had the lock on the door and my dog woke us up before they tried to enter. We understand it was an accident because the woman apologized. But there was no communication from the staff to us or anything. We always stay there when we visit. Hopefully they fix this issue in the future because it can be dangerous entering someone else room.

We arrived at the hotel and we were told they did not have a reservation for Patti Wallis - they told us that Expedia does this a lot and they over book hotels. They said they had no room available for the few days that we needed and there was nothing they could do for us. They also stated that this is an ongoing issue with Expedia. Due to the hassle and trying to find another hotel miles away, we will no longer use Expedia to book anything. This room was booked for my 80 year old mother and to be told she didn't have a room and she was coming from out of town and all we were offered was a bottle of water for the inconvenience. Very disappointed with this whole experience.

Get a crevice cleaner! Every crevice where the carpet meets the wall was white with dust and grime. I don't think it was ever cleaned. No hot water! Called the front, and the answer is wait till tomorrow 8 am when the maintenance guy shows up. We are leaving at 8!. NO SHOWER! Furniture was worn down, and old, the walls were torn. The whole building needs to be renovated. Oh, the breakfast was fine.

The room is dated, worn out and tired like Grandma home in need of urgent redecoration and uplifting. Breakfast area is not spared of the same condition and breakfast itself is definitely wanting and worst in my opinion and experience. The actual breakfast food is poor, limited with very variety options available. Cutleries are plastics, Plates and Bowl are paper plates and bowl. Plastic cups and paper cups. This find hard to understand and take on. The whole thing is extraordinary poor and value when compared charges for the rooms8

The scramble eggs were cold and tasteless. The sausages were overcooked . There were some boiled eggs but they taste funny. They put them in a container with ice, so they were cold. Didn’t like breakfast at all

The hotel was close to our main event location and easy access to I-5. Breakfast was good, too. The staff customer service could have been better, but they treat people differently based on the color of their skin. I say this because when I checked in, there was another couple who ahead of me and the service this couple received was much better than what I received. I was having trouble with the tv. I called the front desk and she couldn’t answer my simple question. When I was getting ready to leave the elevator didn’t work. I had to go down the stairs, 3 levels!

1st room we got was still dirty. Trash, food and the bed was not made. Second room had dirty sheets, upon request for new sheets the woman seemed annoyed, she didn’t offer to change them she told us to change them and put the dirty ones on the floor. We didn’t even stay the night, left that same night and looked for accommodations elsewhere. Working on getting a refund for the room and horrible service but I seem to be getting the run around on that as well. Do not stay here.

Breakfast was ok, we thought room would be cleaned but no because when we checked in they did not ask so therefore no cleaning, hallway had stuff sitting in aisle, not picked up, coffe was not refilled. We did need t bother with hot tub as we were very disappointed with the services. We have stayed at this location many times but the service is getting worse with every visit, considering another location going forward.

The water never really got super hot and in my opinion, the water pressure was lacking in the shower. I did appreciate the breakfast buffet a lot! It had plenty of warm food options and I felt like it’s one of the better breakfast offerings we’ve had at hotels in a long time. The woman running the breakfast buffet was very kind especially for waking up as early as she did to have everything ready by 6 AM! Breakfast begins at 6 AM and ends at 10 AM

The hot tub was just what I needed. The property was well kept and the jets worked on the hot tub. Towels were stocked and the front desk was very welcoming and helpful.

Breakfast was well prepared and flavorful. There was a nice variety of hot and cold food options. The are was very clean and monitored to ensure the choices were well stocked. I was very satisfied with the breakfast the property provided. The placement of some of the tables wasn’t the best, with patrons backs facing the hallway where other guests were coming and going. Beyond that, I didn’t see any potential issues.

Always, a great fresh breakfast, as part of the deal. Security is always a precaution when traveling and this location seems far enough away from the riff raff of most large metro areas.

We will most likely stay here again and recommend the place to friends and family. The receptionist was very friendly and accomodating. She made it possible for us to check in early as we were there in Sac to attend a celebration of life and needed to be there at a certain time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the Hampton Inn in Elk Grove. The room was clean and spacious and our king bed was quite comfortable. We also appreciated the accessible walk in shower with plenty of hot water as well. The included breakfast was convenient and one of the best we’ve had. Most of all, the staff was extremely gracious and accommodating. They made the stay all the more enjoyable!

Everything was good except it would be helpful if the bathroom had a vent: fan.

I was disappointed with my experience. I requested a late checkout, but housekeeping knocked on my door & proceeded to enter room at 10:48 a.m., before my scheduled checkout time. It made the end of my stay feel rushed and uncomfortable.

When I called on the day of our reservation, everyone was helpful, there was a crib in our room and we were able to check in an hour early. Our flight was delayed and we did not arrive at the hotel until 2:30am. There was no one at the front desk. We waited almost 45 mins to an hour. Our room stink like smoke and we had to switch roims.

The rest of check-in was fine but our room was odd. There’s a desk and office chair right in the middle of the suite. Strange layout. To top it off, we had no hot water for our shower. Honestly, it was pretty shameful. The only good thing was our bed was comfortable and parking was easy.

We didn't like that it was pet friendly at all. Didnt realize this and had to pay an extra 25.00 to stay in a room where pets hadn't slept in. It wasn't the cleanest and the phone looked like it had never been cleaned before. We liked that it included breakfast and parking came with the room.

The room felt neglected, we found a spider on our ceiling, body hairs in our shower and the event center across the street was extremely loud at night. We stayed on a Saturday and it was going until midnight extremely loud. Wouldn’t stay here again.

One side fought until 2am then slammed doors and left. We had one side quiet. The other side fought until 2:30am. Then was quiet but started back up at 6am. Called the front desk. They finally got quiet and left around 7. Great stay. Not!!! Walls too thin. No sleep!!!

The property is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. We travel with our little dog, and they considered this when choosing a first floor room. The amenities in the shower were empty, but otherwise it was a great weekend.

This by far the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. I only lasted 4 hours before I left and decided to just drive through the night. Do not stay here - the sheets were not changed, the carpet was musty, and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been actually cleaned in weeks. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE experience.

The first night we were there there were people yelling and screaming at 3 AM and this made the Dogs in the rooms next door go crazy too. We had a terrible nights sleep. We were woken up 4 times due to loud noise. this was the night before my wedding.

Black widows and copious webs in the pool area and around the exterior. Under the beds full of trash, furniture sticky up on arrival. Elevators broke but the only put up signage in lobby and not the floors, so people wouldn't have known when leaving their room. Definitely not worth the nightly price. Wall paper looked dirty and pieces were peeling off the wall. Light bulbs out in lamps in room, racks in bathroom barely hanging onto the wall. The only thing good was the location.

Room 418 had a crack I. Tile and bathroom sink drain was slow. They changed us to another room and the rest of our stay was excellent. I would go back.

Room was filthy, bathroom fan did not work and was clogged with dirt, coffee maker was dirty and didn't use, blood was on the wall and floor of bathroom, dust bunnies were everywhere. We only stayed one night until we could get other accommodations. I have filed a dispute with my credit card. I expected a quality, clean room since the rating was 8.2. I had traveled to attend a funeral service for my daughter-in-law and that was stressful enough and I hoped to relax in a clean room.

My first stay was great; clean and comfortable room and nice and quiet. My second stay on 9/8. Was disappointing. Room was ok, but bathroom was rundown. AC made a loud clang when it turned off which woke me every time. (Tried turning off, but the room got too warm). Lastly, extremely loud guests yelling and banging on someone’s door at 1am.

Hotel was clean, breakfast options were good. We did have someone smoking pot in the next room the first night and could smell through the vents. Several times there was a guy on his cell phone talking really loud right outside my first floor window and it was late, had a hard time gettimg to sleep due to this bit thats not really the Hamptons fault. Overall, great stay and glad we chose The Hampton.

I did not like that they sold the room I had reserved to someone else. I was supposed to have a room for 3 adults which included a King bed and a sofa bed that was accessible for a disabled person (my mother). When we got our keys, and opened the door to the room, there was only a King bed. No sofa bed. I had to go back to the front desk to tell them. The guy at the front was very friendly and was trying to help me, but there was another girl who he was asking questions to and she was not so friendly, and she told me that the room i had reserved was not available and were all sold out because I reserved through a third party. I was given a room with two beds because there was nothinng else available and it was too late to go somewhere else. The bed was too high for my mother, which is why we had wanted the sofa bed. The sink counter was way too high and the faucet was not an appropriate faucet for that sink. It was pushed way back and hard to reach. I am 5'2" and could barely reach. The door from the bathroom was in the wrong position opening towards the door to walk into the room. The TV was was large, and dangerously placed on a small set of drawers, sticking out way too much. The mirror above the desk was not even centered. it's like everything was just all mismatched. THe bed and the pillows were VERY uncomfortable. The bed was not soft and the pillows were just awful and too squishy especially for a person like me who suffers from neck and shoulder problems

The service and staff were great. They were very helpful and friendly. Free parking and Continental breakfast was also great. But the room and comfort of the room was TERRIBLE. I stayed in the 1 King bed suite. I thought the room was going to be good, the room was huge, we had a fridge and microwave BUT that was the only positives of the room. I usually dont get super picky about things especially when I know Im only there for 1 night BUT this time I couldn't even sleep. The bed smelled like wet dog or like someone slept in the bed and didn't shower for a few days so their stench was still there. The comforter was really itchy and I just couldn't get comfortable. I couldn't sleep on the pull out bed because the fabric was tweed and sitting and touching the couch felt filthy. I also tripped on the corner of the couch which had a sharp metal piece poking out. Oh and when I closed the window curtains there were holes where the moths ate it. You can tell the suite hasn't had TLC for awhile. It was gross. Would I stay at Hamilton Inn again yes probably but it wouldnt be my first choice

The queen beds felt like full size beds. Our room was empty on shampoo the first day. We were not told the service only comes every other day so we had to ask for extra towels. The light switch to the bathroom barely works- like it’s broken but functional. It took a very long time to get hot water. Room had a faint smell to it. But the pizza place close by- was good!

I was on the 3rd floor, the noise from above was very loud and disturbing at night. Literally felt and sounded like the people on the floor above us were going to come thru the ceiling. Other than that the hotel, and accommodations were excellent.

It was very convenient accessing our room it was close to the elevator and ice machine & not too far from the lobby. We didn’t stay for breakfast because we were having breakfast with old friends who live here. But we would book this hotel in the future if need be.

The Hampton Inn - Laguna, Elk Grove was close to the wedding we were attending and had all the amenities we typically like. Neither of us are handicapped but the only room choice appeared to be of that type when we first reserved. Farida was great in assisting over the phone with an accommodation to change to a regular king-bed suite which provided for a microwave and mini-fridge and plenty of space to move around in.

We only stayed one night, but it was a great stay. The staff were very kind, friendly, and answered all my questions. Breakfast was nice and the lobby and rooms were nice.

The staff was very rude and was not accommodating. We had issues with our room door, the bath tub water wouldn’t go down ect.

The complimentary breakfast is complete and satisfying. The staff were quick to refresh any missing items. Great coffee! You can leave a gratuity by the way. They earned it. The rooms were not fancy but clean and usable. We had two adjoining rooms. By necessity, the disability access rooms and bathrooms are larger. Our second room was an access room. In both rooms were the refrigerator, micro, and coffee maker. However, you really don't need the c.m. because coffee and water are served all day in the lobby. Nice touch! They served a snack bag out there as well with a bagel, pb&j, water, and a fruit..GREAT APPLES..They must be from the region. One room included two tables and two chairs. One more of a lounge chair and the other closer to a wide, wheeled, upholstered office chair. If you are on business, you'd be comfortable but you might need more light. I edited some photos and I require BRIGHT. I didn't get into the pool on this trip but we did see kids in the pool. Very nice. Parking was adequate during the week and weekend. The lighting could be brighter although the area seems quite safe. All in all, we were happy with everthing this hotel offered and we would choose to return in the future.

This property was the worst Hampton we've stayed at. Dirty, unsanitary and didnt have basic accommodations ie. proper bedding for sofa bed and pillows.

The staff, especially the breakfast staff were wonderful. There was a little chaos during check in, due to card system being down, but the staff was professional and were able to get us into our room quickly. A nice pool area and indoor area to gather with our softball families. Would stay again.

My room (the bathroom) was not properly cleaned. I ended up having to get disinfectant from the front desk and clean the bathroom myself. I was switched to another room the next day and that bathroom also was not properly cleaned. I notified the front desk and they ensured that it was cleaned immediately. The front desk staff was REALLY kind and extremely apologetic about everythingI experienced.

Very easy to check-in!!! Places in walking distance to get food and if willing to drive a lot of great places to eat. Right off the freeway!!! Breakfast was good and clean!!! Thank goodness!!! Staff was present!!! Appreciated the stay!!!

It was clean and quiet.We got a king suite to have more room since our son is in a wheelchair. It was very accommodating. The staff made sure our needs were met.

The rooms were well equipped and quiet as long as you are staying in a room not on the I-5 side of the hotel. Staff were uniformly pleasant and helpful. Good breakfast and no parking fee.

Hampton Inn has always been a good go to for our families but this one was disappointing. Room had a smell and some of our eyes were red and burned from the chemicals they used to clean or something. We don’t know what was causing it.

Our stay was pleasant. Quiet area with several fast food restaurants nearby. The breakfast was good, especially the cake batter Belgian waffles.

Everything good but shower doors and track had some calcium and mold build up. Should do a better job cleaning and inspection by supervisor before releasing to new client

Overall was ok until I was waken up for houskeeping even though I had requested and was granted late checkout. Employee was not told about late checkout. I was sick and needed to rest. Not disturb sign was displayed. Employee was knocking doors like needed to move animals out of a barn. It felt that way. She apologized after I told her about late check out. I informed registration staff about hotel poor coomunication, but he was ready to talk to housekeeping staff. I told him this was not on her. She should have received info of late checkouts.
