Sure had a great stay at the Fairfield Marriott Bonvoy Hotel in Elk Grove, CA! Loved the Hot Tub too!

The staff were very helpful both the kitchen and front desk staff

Location was great, some things seem a little outdated. But it didn’t affect my stay. Staff was kind of weird and not super welcoming. Pool didn’t seem to be cleaned thoroughly, and when we arrived, we noticed hair in our shower. So cleanliness was not the best. But our room was nice!

We booked an Executive King Suite, and the room was impressively clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff truly made our stay memorable. Everyone we interacted with was cordial, respectful, and extremely helpful. Their professionalism and kindness stood out. Breakfast was superb. The eggs and sausage patties were always freshly cooked, and the waffles are definitely a must-try. The breakfast staff was very attentive and made sure everything was well stocked and guests were taken care of. We absolutely plan to come back again.

Front desk person made it easy for check in and was very welcoming. Morning breakfast person also welcoming and prepped the breakfast station perfectly. Was charged another $20.00 on top of what I paid online and wrote to the location as to why.

Location Thermostat didn’t work

Everything was good and as expected with our stay. The only thing I wasn’t happy with is the insulation is poor so you hear doors opening and closing when people come and go, especially at night. And we had an accessible room with an adjoining door that had quite a large gap at the bottom so the people next door sounded like they were in our room. I put a towel at the base of the door but it didn’t help much. Otherwise it was clean and comfortable and fine for our needs.

Room was fine. Parking was limited. Tour bus took up a number of spaces and others drivers took 2 spots. Need more parking.

Needed to stay close to Kaiser for a family member having a procedure. The hotel was perfect! Staff nice, easy, decent breakfast.

Super clean even though they were remodeling the first floor. Very quiet.

I'd rate my experience as average. On day two my room wasn't cleaned. Day one I was awakened by hearing the neighboring room snoring and the AC blower bearing was noisy. Truly I feel I didn't receive my monies worth.

My wife and I stayed a week, and found the staff and service to be excellent. Everyone was courteous and very professional. The daily breakfast offered plenty of choices, and there was always coffee available in the lobby. It’s a family-run hotel, and you really get the feeling that they care.

Room is clean and staff is super nice. The TV in the room is glitch and the furniture is pretty old.

We were told we could not keep our dogs there. However, I booked this reservation on Hotels.com and it was advertised as "PETS STAY FREE"! I showed the person checking us in the reservation on the app. He spoke to the manager in another room and told us we could keep the dogs but there would be a $100 cleaning fee. We had just driven from Arizona for 13 hours and was not in the mood to negotiate. We agreed to pay the fee as we had no option to go anywhere else. It was late, after 8:30pm! Our dogs are very well trained to behave, and our stay was uneventful. It was unfortunate that we were in this situation since we searched the app for only hotels that allowed pets.

There was construction but the customer service was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable!

I did a reservation for a king size bed, when I go to my room it was with two regular size beds, i call front desk, and she didn't gave me any specific answer why. Besides that was dust everywhere on the 3rd floor due to renovations. Bad experience overall. Shouldn't stay here ever again, and wouldn't recommended.

There was construction going on, it wouldn’t mattered but the staff was also not helpful and kinda rude. When asked for pillows and asking when is breakfast, staff seemed bothered. Wouldn’t stay again.

A budget choice and it shows. Staff is good, but the protect itself is banged up. Don’t book here expecting anything more than a bed and rudimentary breakfast.

Facilities going through renovation resulting in intermittent construction noise and parking is limited due to EV charging station installations. Asked for one night stay reservation cancellation due to COVID. Hotel.com staff also reached out for the courtesy cancellation but got no reply until the third day. They finally replied with a refusal. Hotel.com staff pushed for flexibility and was also disappointed by their refusal. The other hotel we booked graciously refunded a 3 night stay for the same reason, same Marriot parent company. Will definitely avoid this Elk Grove Fairfield in the future.

The hotel says that it's pet friendly but when we checked in and went to the room we were told that they did not take dogs then the front desk clerk blamed me for not seeing the big sign by the desk. They need to update their listing saying that they do not take dogs and then instruct their front desk not to have an attitude with their guests.

Rooms were clean and nice, however, the interior does need to be remodeled. Breakfast was great and staff was excellent. I would book another stay there if in the area.

Solo female in the area needed a room for the night. The room itself felt very comfortable, clean and safe. Some of the common spaces like the hallways and elevators felt dated.. but the room itself was updated, clean and very comfortable. I can't speak to the pool and gym as I did not use them. The breakfast was a good mix between hot food and cold food. I'd love to stay again in the future.

The staff was extremely accommodating during our staff. They are in the middle of renovations so the hotel did not look like the photos on the website.

It's a no frills place with not a ton of amenities, but it's clean and a decent price. Gym is tiny, just a couple of treadmills and an elliptical. There's an indoor pool and spa there but didn't check it out. Free breakfast in the morning is always a plus. Texas Roadhouse right next door which exceeded my expectations, and plenty of other restaurants a short drive away.

It was very quiet and breakfast was good. With a Texas Roadhouse next door, it made it very convenient to just walk next door for a good dinner.

A good thing about this hotel was the location and easy to book online. I got the information quickly and effectively sent to my email. The hotel was close to the place and the people I was going to visit. THE NOT GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS HOTEL: * On the online information, the hotel featured "complimentary breakfast"). The price for a room was not cheap, so we expected at leat what other hotels offer to its guests ( OJ, coffee, creamer, sugar, fruits, bagels, cereals. waffles and/or pancakes, scrambled eggs, etc. * I did not like the desk personnel attention. The lady at the front desk at night was not welcoming or kind. She barely spoke to us and placed the door key card on the desk without any indication. The front desk lady in the morning was not better. We had a bad experience requesting/asking about the breakfast. She practically threw a paper bag with a very unexpectedly mediocre breakfast (a granola bar, an orange, and a small coffee) that was meant to be "to go" but had to be requested at the night upon arrival (which the front desk night lady failed to tell us). We were an incovenience to her, no words, no smile, she acted as we were beggers. PLEASE TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE BETTER ! They are dealing with people, human beings! * It is insulting and demeaning the way they treat their guests. We were not the only ones!

This is a great place to stay for a quick trip. The staff at check in was super warm and friendly and I was given all the useful information. The room was nicely appointed with a comfy bed and super clean sheets and sofa area. The only issue for me was a bit of noise—I could hear my neighbor snoring and the steps from the person upstairs. This may have been a one-off but it was definitely more noise than I am used to. All in all, though, a great stay and I would definitely stay again. Just hope the guy next to me doesn’t snore.

Room is clean and comfortable. Staff is wonderful and breakfast is great. Only issue was lots of construction in the parking lot - dusty, and equipment left little space for parking.

My wife and I drove from Boise to Sacramento. We had dinner with a lady ng time friend and after a restful nights sleep we headed home to the Central Valley. Our check-in went very smooth with Jay. Our room was clean and comfortable.

The contractor failed to cover doors and my room was filled with construction dust. You could write your name on the walls and floor. As a Bonvoy Gold member in was quite astonished

Everything was great, especially the proximity to Texas Road House! Other than remodeling construction going on and having trouble finding a parking space, it was a great stay.

Unfortunately when we got there we noticed a weird smell. Then as we were unloading our things there was a big roach crawling. They offered us a discount for our stay. But then when we left they only gave us a discount for one night and it was only 10%.

Given it is being remodeled, it didn't smell like paint or wasn't loud. Staff was very nice and friendly

The room itself was very nice and clean upon arrival. However, our room was not cleaned on the second day. When I asked why at checkout, I was told that we had to ask for that service. I told the attendant this should have been relayed to me at check in, or via signage in the room.

Property remains under construction and the parking is severely impacted by the amount of construction

Staff were amazing! Very friendly. The rooms were nice. There was very limited parking however. We had to park in the restaurant parking a lot next door. There were also a lot of homeless people hanging outside of the hotel property.

The Fairfield by Marriot was indeed a great place to stay! The breakfast selection was the best continental style selection I’ve experienced, and the all around staff was very friendly and delightful! The manager Toni was excellent in accommodating us with a snafu in our trip due to a weather event! Thank you very much! For the Sacramento area, I highly recommend this motel!!!

The room was small and dark not too cozy, I will say the bed was very comfortable sheets were clean, lots of clean fresh towels and staff was nice. There was a smell of like glue or something in the hallways and the floors were covered with cardboard. I ended up checking out early but late at night and the place is surrounded by homeless.. very sketchy.

The check in staff was very friendly. The check out staff did not even ask about the stay. The hotel was okay. The parking was horrible. There is a Texas Roadhouse next door and their staff is allowed to park in the hotel's small lot which leaves not much parking for guest. The area has lots of unhoused people staying around the corner which create fear if your car is going to be okay parked on the street. There are lots of signs up warning about the chance of theft but that is so the hotel just covers themselves. The breakfast was wholesome.

This property was clean and maintained. The area around the hotel felt a bit undesirable for walking or hanging out - especially for Elk Grove. But it was perfectly situated for getting onto the highway

Property was very noisy. Received a very loud room. Mechanical and motor noises from the ceiling all night. At 3:00 AM there was a police action under my windows. This went on for about an hour. When I contacted management they said they would make the situation "right". Three phone calls and two e-mails later no return phone call or e-mail has been received. Management does not seem to care.

They have what most hotels lack. A GOOD BED. Breakfast was also very good. Would certainly stay here again

There was a gap under the door to the hallway that was about 2 inches high. You could stick your whole hand right out into the hallway. You could lie on the floor and see under the door through the hallway and right into the room across the hall. This is a fire code violation and a privacy issue. Any sound in the hallway was very loud and sounds from rooms carried into the hallway as well.

Almost everything about this stay was amazing, from location to accessibility, food options nearby, transportation, you name it. My only hang up as to why I gave 3 instead of 4 or 5 stars overall, there was a lot of disturbance noises throughout the evening. From families and kids in the hallway making lots of noise and playing, someone in the room a floor above sounding like they were skateboarding all night, and housekeeping the floor below vacuuming very early. My sleep was disrupted several times throughout the night. When I called to leave a concern at the front desk, the noise just continued on. May that just was bad timing for me with it being the holidays. Aside from that, I was definitely a great stay, comfy beds, nice updated rooms, amenities options and staff very friendly at check in.

All in all the stay was nice. The people were GREAT and the location easily accessible to all our needs. The single elevator was so slow, and with so many guests there it was a real gore point. Also, the shower head was not adjustable and the setting was less then pleasurable.
