The room was nice. The tv has Netflix built in that you can sign into. Breakfast was mediocre. The Wawa next door is noisy with people revving their engines late into the night.

The stay was great. The staff was amazing and very accommodating to our needs. We were in town for my Dad's funeral and the staff allowed us to utilize the dining area to gather after. The staff went above and beyond and we are so thankful for that.

this hotel met the consistently high standard that defines the Hampton Inn brand. I really appreciate the fresh coffee available 24-7 and the ample breakfast choices. In addition, the staff were very friendly and welcoming the fee for pets seemed kind of high - $84.00

The hotel needs updating. There was a leak outside our room, the carpet was wet. The pillows have to be from Temu. They were terrible. The toilet is too low and the shower was dingy. The lighting in the room was dark and dim. I really hated the room honestly.

Just the food selection quality could have been better. The omelets tasted like cardboard honestly. But it was clean and I got a good nights rest

There is no review because he received a cancellation just prior to checking in. He had to stay with a friend in Elizabeth City, who provided a love seat that his dog usually sleeps on. Extremely disappointing. I am going to submit a claim for reimbursement.

Everything at this location was excellent. All of the staff were very friendly and even provided recommendations on dining options around town. We had a great weekend stay. My only concern was the price of the room with it being ECSU's homecoming weekend.

Hampton inn had good quality bed and pillows but this one in particular was horribly priced for being in such a podunk town in off season. I stayed two nights and they never even brought pillows? Peeling paint in shower amongst many other gross details

Trouble with TV but Rachel fixed it Friday night. It was complicated, and she handled it well. Fresh fruit cut up or a pot of oatmeal would have been welcome additions to breakfast. The room seemed clean, although we found quite a few sand spurs near the beds.

Travelocity made our reservation for one night instead of two. When I tried to contact Travelocity, all I got was AI (automated machines. The hotel was very good in helping us get this straightened out and even offered us a better rate. Hotel was great. Travelocity is very disappointing!!

The air conditioning was working. The coffee service was mediocre. The light roast was very weak and not hot enough in the evenings. Had to ask for towel drip and Kleenex refill. The bed sham was damaged and could have been swapped out before check in.

Greeted by friendly staff, cleanliness, quiet, accommodating, location. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. The television was high quality LG and easy to use. The room was spacious with a sofa and table and there was an eating area with microwave and frig. The complimentary breakfast lacked a non-pork meat options. The bagels were stale and the orange juice was of poor quality. The parking was a problem because tractor trailers and large trucks with trailers parked horizontally taking up multiple parking spots.

The continental breakfast was horrible! We went down to breakfast at 7:00. The hot food bins were just about empty. Just a few pieces of cool sausage patties, and 5 (1" cube) potatoes. Coffee was cold as well. We stay at Hampton Inn's because of the breakfast selection. We ended up having to go out to breakfast, which added on the cost of an overpriced for the condition, hotel.

Heard street noise all night, barely slept. Window needs insulated curtains or double pains. Bathtub was old. Very expensive for what you get. Smelled very clean though and front desk staff was nice. I felt safe.

We booked this property for a weekend stay- it was almost $700 for one weekend … 2 night stay… the images online looked like it was a really nice place - but when we arrived it was definitely an older hotel. Nice - but older - the price of the weekend stay didn’t match the quality of the hotel - they need to do some upgrades to match there price - staff was wonderful and very nice

Second time we stayed here and the staff was absolutely wonderful. The room was clean. I did want to use the hair conditioner but it was empty. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was hot and the attendants were on top of everything. It was very clean. Will stay here again.

Some of concierge staff was very helpful. When it comes to room service, It was mentioned in the hotel room they would change towels every other day. however no service was done to the room. Bathroom sink keeps clogging. Room smelled terrible. The TV was not working in the room

This was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had at any hotel establishment! The maid service was terrible. The customer service was definitely sub par. My family stayed 2 nights at this hotel and not once were we given new towels or wash clothes (even after requesting it), nor did they make the beds or straighten up the room. I will never stay here again and I will advise others to do the same. The hotel is not up to date and had some of the biggest cockroaches I've ever seen. The hotel and service were definitely not worth the price paid!!!

With every other day room service, the trash was not emptied on the first service day, there was only half a roll of TP (there should have been a clue with feminine products on the back of the toilet...more would have been needed). I had to go to the desk for a trash bag & TP. We brought towels & washcloths with us. Two towels & a washcloth were taken.

(( I'd like to see the pool a little cleaner and our suite had a wet carpet due to the air conditioner 128. )) We had a great stay.

While the staff was friendly and their was food and drinks available, a broken drain stopper in the bathroom sink was not addressed after it was reported and no housekeeper came to the room during my three days there. Noisy guests slammed doors very early in the mornings also with construction vehicles constant beeping next door didn’t help the situation.

It was okay for a simple night without children

This hotel is pet friendly, the first room had large urine stains on the carpet and on the loveseat. I asked to be moved to another room, it too had stains on the carpet but not as large and as many as the first room. My second room had hair in the tub and on the bathroom floor ( which I cleaned up). The room also had trash in the corners and underneath furniture. I only noticed because I dropped something, when picking it up I saw all the trash underneath the furniture.

When we checked in the hotel was having a problem with their key system. Rachel who checked us in was wonderful. She dealt with some customers that were irritated but she remained calm and professional. Really did a great job under stressful situation.

The only negative was someone smoking marijuana on the pool deck one night around my kids and family. We cannot be around smoke for a number of health reasons.

The room was spacious and very clean. This hotel is not one of the newer Hampton Inns, but it has been kept in good condition. The breakfast room was spacious also and the food was what you would expect with a hotel breakfast. It was in a convenient location for us to get back on US 17.

I love how friendly everyone is and it’s like they remember you throughout your whole stay. I wish they would replace the towels without us having to ask.

The check in associate was delightful! My room was comfortable and conveniently located near elevator and ice. The hotel itself is conveniently located. Parking was a breeze. The bed, TV, and climate control were wonderful. Bathroom should have been cleaner, particularly the floor and baseboards. Linens were clean and plentiful. The Hampton's breakfast area is always a treat after using the clean fitness center. The pool area was attractive but water quality was lacking.
