The room was clean, staff was friendly, convenient location - close to shops and restaurants.

Stayed one night. Clean, staff was nice and had bacon and eggs with complementary breakfast.

It was a room to sleep. We were traveling. Room was very large and clean. The shower did not have hot water. It was barely warm. The rooms were updated but the hallways looked old and definitely needed some attention.

The staff were absolutely incredible!! Friendly, caring, they spoke and cared for everyone like you were family! The breakfast was good. The hours for breakfast I felt were very reasonable. The tub had rust in it. The outdoor pool was green with trash in it. Not worth the price.

. Cosmetically-it lacked and was in dire need of all new paint. Judging by some storage containers that took up some parking, maybe it’s a work in progress?

The area felt sketchy, but the hotel was clean and adequate for the night. The linen and bedding were very comfortable and exceeded my expectation. The flooring was cold and I would have preferred carpet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room 500 is right next to the elevator and the chime was ridiculously loud. Given the reasonable price, I would stay again but not in a room next to the elevator.

My room was on the 4th floor and elevator was not working. Some construction activity on the 1st floor that was loud late into the night.

Bathroom needed to be cleared better. Dust that I could have written in on hair dryer and its holder. Shower floor needed some maintenance. Walls were paper thin. Unfortunately, I heard much more than I should have of the people and television in the room next to mine.

There was a wierd smell in the room, and the toilet wouldn’t flush right.

After BOOKING.COM totally screwed up our purportedly “confirmed” stay, the Comfort Inn spent more than 30 minutes tracing our BC reservation number, converting reservation data manually to their system, and settling us in. I will never go through BC again in favor of direct booking with CI. This was the 3d time we’ve happily stayed at this CI enroute to an annual vacation further south. Nothing

Breakfast was good and option to juice and coffee available. Unfortunately at this visit the elevator was out of service, fortunately I was able to get a first floor room. The rates were too much compared to other places several miles away. Just priced during the week of University homecoming.

We had a comfortable stay and will be returning around Christmas time. The only complaint I have is the bathroom light is far from bright. We stayed in room 202 if you need to check it out. The Caucasian woman that was taking care of guests in the breakfast area was fantastic, very polite, helpful and pleasant.

While we were a little bit unsure about the area (seemed a bit sketchy), the place was clean inside, staff was super nice, breakfast was good and it was overall a good stay. We forgot a cell phone in the room and they called us and held on to it for a couple days until we were able to get it.

I wasn't impressed with my room. I felt like I was in a college dorm room. The curtains had mold on them, and my daughter is allergic to mold. While the staff did move us, we still did not like the facility. The door by the elevator made noises like it was trying to let someone in. They also had a sign that said "Do not open the door to people. They may not be staying here." That made us feel unsafe. We decided to just come home rather than stay and take a chance on finding something else.

We had reservations at another hotel for our family reunion. One family checked into that hotel a few days early but the condition of the hotel caused them to switch to another hotel. We went to Comfort Inn. The hotel was spotless and the staff was wonderful. I would absolutely stay here again.

Once in bed, people were knocking on our door and making a lot of noise in the hallways at around 3 am. I am not sure how this hotel received such a high review. Overall, I would give it a 6.2

Great stay. Elevator is a little slow and room wasn’t as tidy as I would have liked. There was urine on the floor around the base of the toilet and the mattress topper was stained with urine. This was my second time staying at this location. Overall a good stay staff was accommodating. I would stay again.

A coworker and myself stayed here for a week long business trip. Everything aboit our stay was great. The breakfast was good every morning and there were choices for whatever we wanted that morning. We had a clean room and bathroom every evening when we came back from working. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Older hotel. Room smelled, AC couldn’t keep up, water was a greenish yellow color. Common areas were nice and staff was very friendly. Great location. Would definitely pay more and stay elsewhere next time.

The receptionist showed AMAZING EXCELLENT SERVICE when I checked in, once I arrived to my room and went to the bathroom to shower I looked up at the bathroom ceiling and it was covered with mold, there is no way possible that this could not have been reported or gone unnoticed by the cleaning staff their. I called the young lady who was working the front desk, she immediately went in action to take care of the situation, she came up with keys to another room and to also inspect the room I was in and the new room she was placing me into. The bathroom in the new room did not have the presence of black mold, but many brown water spots that were present. There is obviously a terrible issue with the ventilation of the rooms. The issue needs correcting before someone gets sick

For a little dated property the only things that were negatives were it was a little noisy and there are some sketchy folks wandering around the property. But the hotel does do a good job of trying to police it and warns you not to open the doors for people wanting in. The location worked great for us, easy walk to downtown. Bottom line, I would stay here again.

We have a large project in Elizabeth City and frequently book rooms for our installation crews at this location. When needing to add an extra night at the last minute, George and Amber were extremely accommodating and offered outstanding customer service! Our guys prefer this hotel to others in the area.

The front desk ladies, Meghan and amber were fantastic. Meghan made fresh cookies which were amazing and was generally, nice helpful and just an awesome person. Amber was nice, helpful and the same an awesome person. If I ever go back to Elizabeth city NC I will stay at this hotel.

I would love to thank the amazing lady at the front desk to get us a room so late at night due to our other hotel being absolutely disgusting. We got there and she got us a room asap and it was so much better than the last one. Will stay here again if needed to.

Everyone who worked there was very courteous. But the property is very dated and needs updated. There also seems to be some moisture problems. The rooms and hallway upstairs were humid and musty smelling.

Surprisingly good hotel for the price. Room was spacious with two windows and an actual working hvac unit (rare these days to get one that works properly). No smells (like mold or even cleaning products), which I really appreciated. Bed was comfortable and sheets were soft and nice. Bathroom was spacious and clean (except mold under bathtub caulking). The hard floors keep the place smelling better and stay clean better, so bring some slippers. Breakfast options were good. Staff was very kind. Quiet except some traffic noise in the mornings. Overall a very good stay for a great price.

The hotel staff were very pleasant and accommodating to our needs. Hence the 2 stars. It would otherwise be 1 start. Serious updates need to be made. 1 elevator that was super slow. Dirty tubs and some coating at the bottom of the tub the was absolutely disgusting. Cleaning service didn't clean and we had to call front desk. She was kind of enough of clean it herself. We only stayed because we didn't have any other options unfortunately. Carpet would be great. Room felt drafty and cold. We did like the spaciousness but that's it. TV should offer streaming services. It's 2024. Please make some updates. And the TV dude was weird and hard to decipher. Not a good stay for us. We tolerated it but most likely will not stay here again.

Tub area had mold around grab bar in tub. Staff were nice and accommodating and the room was clean

It had a smell.

My room was dirty. The A/C unit in the room was a through-the-wall type. Apparently it was not sealed well to the outside as there were bugs, both dead and alive, on the floor around the unit and elsewhere about the room. The bathroom had hair throughout on my arrival. It was not well cleaned to say the least. The smell outside on my final day/night was horrible (think dead animal mixed with dirty diapers). The window unit pulled this nasty air into the room and it smelled just as the outside did. I ended up leaving a night early as it was unbearable. I complained to the front desk, but received only a half hearted obligatory “sorry” from one of the three people behind the desk. I will never come back and advise others against staying here. There certainly is no “Comfort” to be had at this hotel.

The staff was super nice, the room was nice, it was convenient to all the fun stuff.
