    The fact I had a place to sleep. Collin checked us in on Friday afternoon. He told me the room was 304 and that the elevator does not work. I let him know that I’m pregnant and could not walk 3 flights of stairs with my bags. He said well that’s all we have available. There was no real solution until my husband called booking.com and started the cancellation process. Mysteriously a room became available on the 1st floor. We decided to take that room. We asked for more towels and Collin stated that they were low on towels and gave us 2 wash cloths. I ended up buying towels from Walmart since towels could not be adequately provided by the facility. The outlet where the blow dryer was did not work and the drink vending machine was not cold.

    I didn’t like anything. The worst stay I ever had. Elevator was broke. Had to take stair up to my room. Towels and wash cloths were dirty. Low staff, low towel stock, toilets didn’t work right. Shower sprayed water everywhere. Changed rooms three times. Hallway smelled and rooms smelled bad. Police showed up at least 3 times while I stayed there. Then someone there tried to charge my debit card and additional $911.86 but my bank blocked the transaction! Worst stay ever!!!!     I did not like anything about this property and it was probably one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The hotel was filthy. The elevator was inoperable, and there was a horrible stench in the hallways and the rooms and there were often people randomly hanging out in the parking lot and in front of the hotel. I tried contacting the hotel to get these issues resolved, and they were of no help. I have a physical disability and the elevator was not working and they placed me on the third floor. I had to walk up and down three flights of stairs for three days with luggage upon arrival and departure and the hotel staff did not seem to care at all.

    Side door key card would not work. They knew about it. Elevator not working and they knew. Stayed for 6 nights and neither fixed in that time. That means they won't fix it. Lots of people stay there full time as a home. So they keep side door wedged open (not safe!). Just a run down place. Stay across the street holiday inn.

    We arrived to a dirty room that was never cleaned for us, dirty towels hung on the door, dirty wash rags hung on our outside door handle in a bag. No clean supplies. Told the front desk lady and nothing was done about it. Was better off sleeping in my car. The bed was dirty and had stains, and dirt on it. Most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on in a hotel. Front desk guy when checking out wouldn't leave my seizure alert service dog alone and kept talking to him even after being asked to leave him alone. The guy wouldn't stop asking me to stay longer when I told him I was in a hurry and had to get back on the road. Made the comment "but you can stay for breakfast you are entitled to it" I politely said no thank you I have to go. As I'm walking away he again tried convincing me to stay longer. I have never had a worse experience in a hotel than this one. I just wish the lady would have actually showed to clean our room, but I didn't have a ton of time to sleep as is when I arrived. Hope this place gets shut down.

    Room was dusty. AC was weak. Staff was rude over the phone. Bathroom only had one towel. Bathroom towel hanger was broken off the wall. Electrical Outlets do not work on the lamps. Very old looking. Fridge didn’t have anything inside and not cold.

    The room seemed clean enough and the staff were all very nice and very helpful. Fair warning though. The hotel seems older for sure and it showed. The shower looked redone so that was fine but the floor was pealing up in one corner, and the tv was very old. I did also have to kill a few tiny sugar ants but it seemed like just a few and not a bunch or anything so it wasn’t the end of the world. There were often a lot of people smoking outside and one night the hallway on my floor smelled like weed inside but the rooms all had individual air units which worked well and kept the rooms well venting so my room was fine once I got inside. The bed was comfortable enough though and overall my stay wasn’t too bad. It was cheap and it gave me a place to sleep.

    Rooms were great. Loved the shower. Bed was comfortable. Room was very clean, hallway rug was very old and dirty looking plus needed vacuuming. Breakfast was ok. The usual, microwave eggs, link sausage, microwave heated potatoes. Waffles were good. Not enough seating when everyone came for breakfast. Food area got terribly crowded. Parking lot holes were evidence of needing some work done. Was ok for overnight at reasonable price.

    The hotel has seen better days. The air blowing out of the air conditioning unit in the room, smelled dirty, and musty. Carpets in the hallways were very dirty. There were stains all over the wall in our room from something spilled from a previous customer.

    When we arrived, all was fine, but when we went to bed in what could be more described as a Twin XL mattress and not a Queen, it was beyond uncomfortable. We tossed and turned all night. When we were trying to get ready, we realized there was ONE washcloth, which was filthy, and two towels. I booked the hotel for four people (two adults and two kids). When my husband went to the front desk to ask for towels, the clerk acted annoyed and told him that they were out of towels at the moment. Out of towels! At a hotel! She basically told us we had to wait until some were clean. Luckily, it didn't take very long. I am assuming there were already some that were clean, and the clerk hadn't been updated. Also, as I was getting into the shower, I noticed that the shower curtain rod was about to fall out of the wall (see picture). Since the rod was not secured, the curtain kept sliding down towards the center of the rod and popping open, and my clothes that were on the tank of the toilet got wet, as the shower water was bouncing off of me and spraying my clothes. I should have known by the condition of the office chair that they don't take great pride in appearances. I was supposed to stay at this hotel next weekend as well, but I have already canceled the reservation. Apparently, "quality" is only in the name of the hotel. If I could ask for a refund, I absolutely would.

    This is a 2 star hotel so I’m not expecting pristine conditions. When we got to our room, it did smell like smoke but we asked to move and the new room smelled fresh and had no hint of smoke for the 5 nights we stayed. The housecleaning staff were very helpful and kind. The hot breakfast was good and convenient. It was a convenient location for us, with a gas station and restaurants close by. I would stay again.

    Room had a musty odor and the bathroom smell I can't even describe, I had to hold my breath and cover my nose and mouth just to use the toilet. I never used the shower. The AC was kicking out a horrible musty smell every time it went on, I had to cover my nose with my pillow because of the bad air it was kicking out, I think the air filter needed to be changed or the unit cleaned. I slept about an hour then got up and left. Room was clean and bed was comfortable but the smells were horrible.

    The bed was worn put and sank in the middle. The toilet paper hloder fell off the wall and a cracked loose tile in the floor. The blackout drapes did not cover edge of window and the parking lot light was coming in. I have stayed here mutiple timesand never had issuees, except when my room was next to the elevator.

    Convenient location just outside of the city. Right off the hwy. Basic breakfast. Clean enough rooms. Bit of a fly problem in the room. I didn’t complain at the hotel so no idea if they would have addressed it. Checked in super late due to flight delay and checked out early. Bathroom could use a little caulk and paint. Hotel was full. Reserved 2 beds on Expedia but hotel gave me a room with one. Would have been a slight issue if my daughter would have come with me as planned. Place worked for my needs flying in to O’Hare and driving to Rockford.

    The room was OK but you could tell that the floor has not been moped. The staff did come by every day to make the bed and change the towels and sweep the floor and take out the trash. The compressor on the heater was very loud and it would wake me up when it would kick on.

    It appears to have been a very nice place once, but maintenence has lapsed. Tepid water in shower---temperature control lacking. Oversized table lamps on undersized nightstands occupy 1/3 of the rather limited space. In breakfast room juice dispenser was broken, only coffee available to drink.

    Bad smell is hallways but room was ok. The cable tv only got 3 channels. Asked front desk to look at it. They sent a non english soaking employee to my room who turned it to one of the three working channels and then left. Talked to front desk again who said they would let maintenance know. Never heard from them again.

    The overall experience was good, with some details that could be improved. The room had a smell as if someone had smoked in it, the bathroom ceiling had some mold, and lastly, the curtains had some balls on them that we weren’t sure were animal eggs. But aside from that, the place is quiet, there is no noise, it’s safe, easy to get to, has free parking, and the breakfast is excellent with a good variety, plus it's free. Despite the initial issues, the experience at the place was very pleasant and peaceful.

    Noticed a few roaches in my room and the pillows were small and lumpy. The best feature to me was the shower, I'm 6'3 and it was a very roomy walk in shower

    2 person room, only 1 set of towels. Requested 2nd set from front desk, was told “we don’t have any more towels.” All lampshades in room are cracked & yellowed. Window is dirty and fogged, no screen & very hard to open.

    From the beginning we knew it was going to be weird. We walked in the lobby and there was an Electric Blue hair geriatric hanging out then when we approached the check in counter the staff did not greet us, she looked at us for a moment then said ooh checking in? I had to ask how to get to our room. The room was clean and quiet so that is a plus however, no towels or phone service. We went back to the front counter only to be told "yeah, we are working on towels". More about the stay: shower rod was coming off the wall, toilet ran so I used toilet paper to hold the handle up, the door would not open properly because maintenance put a piece of metal in lieu of a washer, building's back door lock was broken, a homeless person was sleeping in a van and using the electricity from the hotel. This place is seriously messed up.

    Our key card did not work after we got new cards twice. The desk clerk said that sometimes the slot gets dirty and the cards won’t read. They had to let us in with the master key numerous times.. would have been better just to have maintenance come and clean the card slot. Staff was friendly, room was nice and clean.

    The front desk clerk gave us keys to the wrong room. Opened door and elderly man was getting dressed. When I went down to tell him he said he mixed up his 6 and 8's. We were in 226 and he gave us keys to 228. Very embarrassing. The room was very clean, towels were great quality, bed comfortable and shower head was high enough so you don't have to bend down to rinse hair. Only negative was getting wrong key.

    The room that we were in had so many things wrong that we had to start writing them down so we could report them. The deadbolt didn't work, toilet didn't work, sink drained poorly, screen in window falling out, side entrance to building didn't lock, no creamer in rooms for coffee, no lids for coffee cups, people upstairs sounded like they were marching all night long. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was fine. I would not recommend this place.

    It was okay. Cheap. Not exceptionally clean or nice rooms, but sanitary. Breakfast was pretty lame. If my budget was tight i would visit again, but its worth it to spend a little more for a little better

    The rooms were not clean, bathrooms especially was unclean. There were not enough towels through out our stay and everyday only 1-2 towels were provided and had to go to the front desk who handed over one hand towel. How can you provide 1 towel for a party of 4 in a 2 queen bedroom. Also the digital keys were problematic and both keys stopped working - had to argue at the front desk to get them activated as they were not convinced I was staying. Also oveheard a customer complaining of noisy neighbour and was advised to talk to the neighbour or call 911.... say cops at the hotel as well.
