    From staff to room , all bad experiences. I beg people not to take this hotel. $163 per room is not worthed. I will not pay $50 for this room. No shampoo or conditioner provided just a small handsoap. It took one hour to find our reservation at 11pm. This hotel should not be in business.

    Overall, the experience wasn't bad until the housekeeping cart that was left unsecured by hotel staff rolled off of the sidewalk and directly hit my vehicle that was parked in the parking stall for hotel guests. This occurred while I was sitting in my vehicle at the time. This occurred 2 days ago and hotel staff and management were informed in realtime with photos and hotel maintenance staff as a witness to what occurred, however they have not followed up with me to provide any solution or remedy to the situation.

    The staff that was at the front desk after 11:00 pm was unhelpful. There was a van without a parking pass nor ticket playing laúd music until 2:00 am and the front desk said it was my problem for me to call the police that she was the front desk person not security!!!!!

    The staff. The surprising up charges for parking and upon request for shampoo, house cleaning and other add ons is ridiculous. Smoke detector began chirping at 9PM and we had to take it down and remove the batteries so we could sleep.

    There are a few areas that could use improvement. Having basic cleaning tools like a broom or mop available in the room would be helpful for short-term guests, especially for small messes. The bathroom showed some wear, with a slightly rusted bathtub and some cracking on the walls, and the kitchen cabinets also appeared a bit damaged—these areas could benefit from updates. It would also be great if the hotel offered access to streaming services or smart TVs, as the cable options were fairly limited for winding down at night. Overall, despite these minor issues, I would consider staying here again.

    Clean, safe, easy to park, walking distance to a lot of places, slight breakfast available. TV and WiFi worked great, kitchenette was useful, instructions for anything else was provided in the room on a print out. Have to pay for parking. Stopper for tub didn’t work.

    Room was an embarrassing disappointment. Old kitchen with rust, stains. Both the bathroom sink and tub did not have stoppers. The floor was so dirty I had to wash it. Lots of brown dirt on my wash towel from washing the floor. Bedding was terrible. Bed was smaller than what I was expecting. The rate I was supposed to pay was not what I paid. I was charged an extra $60 per night than what I was quoted. Too many issues with room to mention. The staff was very nice, but that’s the only positive thing I can say

    I was visiting a family member and it was convenient for us. Plus Stay America was accommodating to our little dog. Also it was convenient to have Ralph's easily accessible. I think the pet fees were higher than they should be but I understand that not all pets are the same. I feel that the fee for our dog, (which is 11lbs and a good traveler that is respectful to property, people, and other pets.) was high in relation to our fee for the room. This however is not a deal breaker to future stays.

    Sierra is also a standout employee—dynamic, friendly, and attentive to every detail. Her positive attitude and proactive service made a lasting impression. Ms. K is absolutely amazing—her warmth, efficiency, and personalized care set the bar high. It’s rare to encounter such a committed team that truly cares about their guests. However, I regret to express my dissatisfaction with my experience at Extended Stay America due to Assistant General Manager Jessica. Her demeanor was unprofessional and dismissive, which I found disrespectful. Her personality is dry and unfriendly actions, falling short of guest service standards. She would benefit from guest relation training to improve her interpersonal skills and create a welcoming environment. Thank you, Luz, Sierra, and Ms. K, for making my stay memorable. You all embody the best of what Extended Stay America has to offer!

    Not good. Check in took 20mins. Audit was going on was the excuse. Lobby stunk of weed. Room stunk of cigarettes and weed. Room numbering makes no sense. No map in lobby. Room had no shampoo or conditioner. Soap only. AC was a loud window unit. It was nice to have Ralph’s and fast good nearby.

    The shower was terrible. Just like an open floor area to wash, didn't matter that the curtain was there, it didn't prevent the water from going everywhere in the bathroom, hence making it dirty from walking on the floor with slippers, etc. The bed was REALLY uncomfortable. You have to pay for parking now which is ridiculous because they are totally lacking in their breakfast offerings anyway. The TV was very old and didn't display anything clearly. So more money for less services and amenities. Won't stay there again. The only thing that is good is the location.

    Close to the job site location. The room was next to the office. Employees were very nice and professional. The room was nice and peaceful. The parking is a separate fee each day. Which is so wrong a guest should not have to pay additional fees each day to park on the property grounds. The floor in my room was somewhat unclean.

    Long waiting time during check in due to some software “Audit” . No option to cancel the reservation from expedia app or at the hotel . We were waiting to get a room for an hour and the room has a strong cigarette smell and washrooms were not properly cleaned. I would not receive this place to anyone . Only reason to book it was that it’s near LAX airport.

    I just hate it when people won’t own their mistake. I couldn’t figure how the shower worked during my entire stay and as far as I’m concerned, I didn’t have hot water. The front desk never informed me on their unique way to have hot water running in the shower and the manager’s response was: You always had hot water…only that I didn’t know that! She took off 20% off the bill for the first 2 nights, however, last night for the 3rd time, there wasn't hot water either. I guess it’s the guest’s fault to be ignorant. I normally stay at hotels where things are straightforward! I will NOT be back at this motel.

    I had gotten a room for some days and decided I wanted to make in room food using the kitchen , when I started to cook I noticed that the burner didn’t work , I called the front desk and the manager immediately changed my room out with another one and personally came and gave me my keys, these people here always go above and beyond and I will always come here me and my kids

    it had a cozy vibe and they had friendly staff. the floor was pretty dusty and dirty. there was also a weird smell when i came in but it eventually faded away after a couple hours. in the middle of the night i noticed i had gotten bug bites on my ankles. i couldn’t find any bugs but i did dust of the sheets as best as i could. there was a towel full of short thick hairs.

    There was mold in the trash can, the trash cans were full when I first got the room. The room smelled that cigarettes & animal waste. I have a daughter & it just didn’t feel healthy breathing all that in. There was also mold on the side of the fridge. Truly just a nasty stay & I have pictures as well

    Location The fact that there was a missing bulb, when I plugged in two things it tripped the breaker switch (thank goodness I saw the breaker box in the room with the door open), the tub and bathroom sink had either no stopper or one you had to put in yourself, cabinet doors and microwave had chips and look like the originals of when the motel was first built and the hardest, most uncomfortable bed ever!

    If you want to get a good night's rest before hopping on a plane, DON'T STAY HERE! Very sketchy, people are living here & place is beat up.     Our room had an overpowering smell of animal urine. It was the most disgusting hotel room I'd ever stayed in. We advised the front desk and all they said was they'd make a note of it. There was a pill underneath the bed, along with hair and little bits of trash on the floor, an old poster behind the dresser, sticky goop on the carpet, melted soap still in the shower holder, and the leather recliner was also sticky. I've been to other Extended Stay America locations and have never had such a terrible experience. Not one dish or utensil in the room, the sign says call the desk for them to be delivered, but they make you go to the front to get them yourself (and it was raining). We stayed one night and were supposed to come back in December for a week, but this location is absolutely off the list.

    They use misleading advertising, as Expedia says breakfast and parking are included, but when you arrive they charge you for parking per night, and breakfast turns out to be just coffee. The beds are narrow, and the microwave was rusty inside. The staff was unfriendly. I didn't like it at all because for that price I would have booked a different hotel with better conditions.

    Overall, if you’re looking for a value hotel, this will meet your needs. Although it is a long stay hotel, there are no supplies - plates, glasses, cups, etc. Nothing. Moreover, the room was not well maintained by the cleaning staff. The location is central- close to the beaches and the sports complexes so that was a plus.

    The Receptionist was very friendly and provided great service. The room however was awful. The room smelled of old leather and fish and was muggy. The refrigerator was broken. Room temperature at best. And the freezer was barely refrigerator temperature. The bad frame must've been broken because the bed rocked back and forth. The toilet had ised toilet paper in it when we arrived. There was also a large number of drain flies in the room. The AC pumped out cold air but the air was wet. I left my suitcase open mext to the AC overnight and all my clothes were damp.

    Hi, I had to change rooms bc the first room smelled really bad like someone had just smoked pot. The key in the next room I was given, didn't work and I was going back and forth between the office to reprogram the key. After the third attempt, I finally got a more comfortable room unfortunately the TV didn't work, and the shower didn't work very well. I have stayed at this hotel for years. but this time I was so disappointed that I don't feel like staying at the Extended Stay Hotel any more.

    They charge for parking now. This Extended stay America is a super budget, no frills, airport hotel. You stay at a place like this to reduce cost…..not pay for extras like outdoor parking with no security. Might as well just pay the extra money to stay at a nicer hotel, closer to the airport.

    This hotel is absolutely disgusting. The rooms were dirty, the bathrooms had mold and a terrible smell, and the the kitchen, night stand did not look clean at all. The microwave OMG is completely old and dirty. The hallways and common areas were just as filthy, making the entire place feel unsafe and unsanitary. For the price they charge, it’s shocking to see such poor conditions. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. I don't understand why the city allows them to continue working for the public.

    Reserved a double queen. They called later to tell us they actually did not have a double queen available but could do a king with pull out sofa so we agreed. The room stunk and the pull out sofa was tiny…only big enough for one person. It was ripped up and blood stained. Absolutely disgusting!! I will say that the staff was very friendly though.

    Breakfast hardly any choices available. Key cards didn't work reliably. Having to go back to the office after checking in, to ask for shampoo, soap, cutlery, plates, cups, etc and to request by each item. Had to go back again for hair dryer and a blanket!

    By far the worst hotel I have stayed at in 20 years. Dirty, poorly maintained, scratchy sheets, paltry, useless towels. There was a giant disgusting hairball sitting visibly in the drain preventing the tub from draining. Staff was barely engaged in the job but then I don’t blame them. So bad I forfeited the remaining two nights in order to stay somewhere decent.

    This trip was supposed to be our anniversary stay here and it was close to the Santa Monica Pier. On the site the cost was cheaper, so we went with it. Then 15 bucks for the parking space. Which is a first for us. The room was dirty and the trash was still in the can in our room. Noisy neighbors that we called in and still had loud music all night. Homeless and people yelling around the parking lots. This will be the last we use Extended Stay properties.

    While the studios offer a kitchen, there are no utensils in the kitchen. No pots, pans, cutlery, crockery - nothing. They also do not provide dish washing liquid.. we had to purchase all the above. We chose a studio king, the bed itself was comfortable, I have absolutely zero complaints there! It made hubs and I question why we don’t upgrade our own bed to a King, BUT and it’s only a small but … but still a BUT they only provide 3 x standard size pillows - so someone is going to miss out - that said they are fluffy and comfortable but a fourth would be ideal. I work in HVAC and can confirm all the rooms ventilation is connected - not unusual but be warned that if other guests are smoking in their rooms / it’s coming into yours! Our room constantly smelled if pot despite being “non smoking” The other guests are certainly characters, many people from all walks of life, we were in the furthest corner away from reception and there was activity outside the whole time. But everyone keeps to themselves and we didn’t feel unsafe. Ralph’s next door, airport within a stones throw, gym, In & Out burger & ihop in arms reach still make this a Trump card. Would I stay here again? It’s unlikely, but that is really ONLY because of the lack of cooking utensils

    There was a plug in air freshener in room and the smell kept us awake. We didn’t know where the smell came from and searched the room to find a plug in diffuser. We are very sensitive to neurotoxins such as Glade and Febreeze. We had to leave the door open to get rid of the odor in the middle of night. The breakfast was sub par but there were many eateries around the hotel.

    So check in was great. Young lady with the raspy voice was just ever so pleasant. I had issues with my room not having ac working. Martha switched rooms and loan me a pan and spatula. I did see two roaches in the kitchen. I mean it was an okay stay. Maybe staying there again I would reconsider depending on the roaches. Very quiet.

    You need to ask for clean linen, no one cleans the rooms daily unless you ask I guess. There were flies in the room and no idea where they came from. There was mold on the outside of the fridge. There was also a prominent “smell”. I would definitely not recommend. The only good thing was the staff

    The front desk Martha Was extremely and beyond five start service.     Immediately upon entering the room, I saw what appeared to be a bug near the bed. Looking closer it was a bed bug. There was also one under the chair near the kitchen. My boyfriend and I immediately left the room and went to the front desk. Because we had an event to go to within the hour they gave us another room. We left most of our stuff in car and rest in the tub

    The room was absolutely horrendous. We had booked a two double bed room and was given a 1 king room. I called the front desk and they let me know people chose to extend their stay in their rooms so I wouldn’t have two double beds and I needed to let the hotel know ASAP if I was going to choose to stay somewhere else so they can use my room for others and also not to touch anything in the room if I wasn’t pleased with it. Horrible customer service all around. The air vents were filthy as can possibly be, it was quite concerning. The conditions of this room along with the customer service provided by the staff are both the worst you will probably ever experience. I highly suggest staying somewhere that appreciates their customers and also general cleanliness.

    The hotel is close to the airport, a bonus. The young woman at the desk was pleasant. Our first room REEKED OF SMOKING. no-one could have cleaned it and not noticed. We asked for a second room which smelled weird but not smoky. There was not even a glass in the room, nor a coffee pot - a sign said that residents had to request anything for the kitchen. Under the kitchen counter was an OVERFLOWING trash bin. Fortunately we were leaving early, since a sign on the door stated that all rooms had to be accessible for fire safety inspection at 8am! The "grab and go" breakfast consisted of small plastic wrapped muffins and bars. The lady at the desk in the morning did seem concerned about the problems. With no airport shuttle and the issues above this place is not a bargain.

    Staff pleasant and helpful. Room smelled horribly of smoke - transferred to another room - toilet did not flush - TV did not work - so - back to smoky room. Smell so bad that all items in my suitcase smelled like smoke after the stay. We had contracted with the property to leave our car for a fee during a 10 trip. We were notified that the car would have to be moved for 2 days during our absence due to parking lot re-surfacing or it would be towed. Obviously, this was impossible for us so we had to make other arrangements at the last minute. No advance notification of this situation was given. I will NEVER stay in this hotel again.
