Place is just 2nstar maybe front desk didn't show up for 39 plus min they never ever answer the phone my room had a beehive outside of it lucky the beds were comfy and the bathroom was clean.

My one night stay here was very pleasant. The staff were friendly, the lobby was cheerful and inviting, my room was clean and it was very quiet which is exactly what I needed. I can't wait to return again for nice quiet getaway.

The place does show it's age . We will stay here again we were very comfortable the room was bigger than normal the living room makes it. We had no issues and the staff was good

There are some good helpful staff that work there, however the management does both fix things such as the TV services, rooms are a big size little kitchen area, living room is nice but smells and not cleaned. Shower is for short people and the toilet as well is short and barely flushes. The door to get out was stuck have to pry on door to get out of room. Pool and hot tub was nice. No available restaurant.

They need to work on there TV. We could not watch a thing because it kept going in and out. In the front one we got nothing. We asked for clean towels never got them. There was other guests that had the swimwear hung on the pool gate for the time we were there. The ice machine didn't work.

No cable tv, channels were hit and miss at best. slider in room for balcony was not working, had to flush toilet more than once to completely dump contents, the mini fridge freezer was frozen with frost. the door to the suite was hitting the door frame when opening and closing, making it hard to shut, the AC worked good in the bedroom but not in the living room area. the staff was nice.

the room layout is perfect for me and my family . When you walk in, there’s a living room area, and through the double doors you have the bedroom. It’s very quiet. You have shopping centers like 3 to 4 minutes away Marshalls, Starbucks, Little Caesars. Shoe palace .

From the checking in was smooth to the check out, someone always there to help accommodate us. Will stay again when ever we in town again

Location near freeway. Rooms where unsanitary and very outdated. Found 2 German Roaches,one in the room and next morning in the bathroom. I am a pest control tech and am able to identify them. Did not enjoy stay.

Keep up the good work. I leave stuff sometimes on accident and they always hold for me that is how awesome they are. They have integrity and honesty and kindness. Thank you for all that you do.

The gentleman who checked us in At around 7 30 PM was extremely nice and helpful. We had to sign a waiver acknowledging all the things that were broken around the hotel Including the TV In our room. I was not told in advance That certain amenities would not be available or in working order And the waiver basically said I couldn't ask for any discounts because of them.. There were hairs on our bathroom towels And The couch was worn and dirty. I was afraid to touch it and didn't even set my backpack on it. The beds were clean although the separate bedroom was super small. All of the furniture was well worn, the paint was old and chipping all throughout the property and it just really hasn't been kept up at all. But with all of that said, I paid a hundred dollars for the night so, not really going to complain too much. However, even for that cheap of a price I honestly would not stay there again.

We checked in and wanted to watch game 7 of the Spurs/OKC SERIES, tv internet was sketchy, bee in the room, charged rooms. We ended up seeing the second half, then needed a new remote for bedroom tv. It’s old and worn out and first room smelled too. The staff were pleasant for what they have to represent.

The transportation is very convenient, and it is very fast to reach restaurants within the city. We really like the separate design of the living room and bedroom. Next time I come to Los Angeles, I will choose to stay here. Thank you.

I don’t really like the hotel room I stayed in because the bed near the bathroom was tilted and same with the TV in the living room.I think that it would be good if the door to the balcony was opened easily.On the couch there was bug where almost sat on. The outside of the hotel and the pool looks good but inside is not really that clean.

Pretty good for the price. Front desk staff was quick with the check in check out process. Was greeted anytime I passed by. Air Condition worked really well, had to keep it off for most of my stay, worked too well. The Hot tub in room was clean and a good size.

There were roaches, bed bugs, and urine stains on the bed. I could go into more detail about uncleanliness but this is sufficient. We took detailed photos and left immediately. The hotel manager denied responsibility and refused to refund us. Worst hotel and grossest hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life. Be warned of bug infestation.

Had roaches and spiders all over the ceiling, bathroom floors. Furniture was damaged and old. Pillows are had as a rock, shower leaked on to the floor. We didn’t feel safe but had no other choice as we travelled from the Bay Area. Also, told by manager that the TV didn’t work but he wouldn’t offer a discount but said we could get a refund as it was almost midnight when we checked in and no other rooms available nearby at that time. We were disappointed.

You have to get maintenance to come and open the pool for you and that takes forever. There isn’t an ice machine on every level, which is also annoying and the ice machine was filthy. The TVs didn’t work. The guy checking us is in in the evening was really kind, but the day stuff seemed to not want to move to help us. The shower took forever to get hot. And there’s no counter in the bathroom to put your toiletry bag on.

From the outside the place looked nice but once inside past the lobby: dirty pool, graffiti all over barely working elevator, tv’s didn’t work, deck light can’t turn off and curtains broken, extremely high price for the condition. Likely won’t stay again.

Nothing to do with the staff the the sweet room with the jacuzzi that are basically booked in the bed jacuzzi there was so much hair and it was so disgusting we didn't even use the jacuzzi that night I was very disappointed also my girlfriend she was so disgusted but it was kind of too late for us to get out of there so we stayed there and just basically for the next morning and I mentioned that to one of the management department. And nobody give me any option to switch the rule or anything like that so I was not happy about it

Air conditioning in room 107 was not working. Walls were very thin I could hear next door neighbors clearly. The ceiling was thinner, upstairs noise was more intense, could hear footsteps throughout the night. Upholstery and carpet is very outdated and slightly dirty

The spacious room, complete with bedroom and waiting room, was a wonderful experience. Glenda at the front desk stood out as shining example of what hospitality should look like. The maintenance staff was equally as shining, taking care of a malfunctioning TV the same night. I would definitely enjoy staying there again!

Rooms are outdated with the furniture. Room cleaning occurs every 3 days unless requested and they did clean it when asked within 2 days. Please note that a $100 deposit is required for the room for possible damages ($200 cash deposit also available). Staff are courteous.

The hotel appears run-down and lacks basic upkeep. There were light switches protruding from the walls and visible areas that needed proper cleaning and maintenance. While the beds were comfortable, the property is clearly overdue for renovations. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here in its current condition.

First off the rooms are nothing like what they have the pictures shown as on the website. Once we went up to our room the elevator sounded like it wanted to break, the rooms are beyond out dated and we didn’t feel safe staying there. Wanted to leave once we got to our room but had no choice but to stay. We barely could sleep at night because of how unsafe we both felt. The a/c in the room barely worked and took forever to cool down the room. I would never stay here again, would of rather stayed in my car.

Nice staff. Decent room. It served its purpose as we were in town for a funeral at Rose Hills. It was very convenient being so close to the cemetery and a Walmart Superstore. There was a refrigerator and microwave in the room making food & drinks easily accessible in addition to nearby gas stations and restaurants. I would stay here again if I need to attend another event in the area.

This place is old in the most charming way, like it's been frozen in time somewhere in the early 90s. It's tucked away in an industrial area near convenient on/off ramps, and is surrounded by some great hole in the wall food options. Despite the age, the rooms were very well kept. Front desk was helpful and cordial.

Based on the pictures I was definitely expecting exactly what was portrayed. The area in which the hotel is located is sketchy, the receptionist was not friendly. The hotel was was not clean (Carpet was dirty and the elevator had a funny smell). Sorry to say, but I did not feel safe.

Well it really needs to be updated. The carpet smelled, no mirror besides the bathroom, i mean Owen our check in guy was koo, but tbh not a place i will be using again. Pool is great but the hot tub had so much chlorine it stung my skin. There was also an unhoused woman trying to get into the pool, which was concerning because the locks didnt work so you had to request the door to be propped open if you wanted to swim.

There were live cockroaches in our room

They double booked the room i was in. I had been there for 2 nights, when they put someone else in room. That customer wss pounding on my door at 1030 at night trying to get in. Parking lot had a lot of non guesting hanging out and not well lit. Room was dated. There was something that was used to clean the room or in the vents that sent me into an asthma attack.

The place appears old and the smell when you walk in the lobby smells old. You don’t get a feel of cleanliness, especially when you get on the elevator. It looks best up. Check in was very slow! Not sure why the staff took so long when I had already checked in online, When you leave a hotel, many times staff will ask how was your stay when you check out, I was asked did I leave the remotes on the room. Overall the room was ok. That was a nice plus. Some areas appear run down, like the walls and ceiling, but we were comfortable

My first night i had no ac . Fortunately, it was the coolest night of week .I've stayed here before and there seems to always be some kind of issue. And the idea to put low flow toilets is a inconvenience for customers. From clogged tubs to ac issues ... I'm forced to look elsewhere. For the price they charge .it's not reasonable

I had texted ahead requesting a ground-floor room (because I have bad knees and my husband has broken toes) and asked for extra pillows. Neither request was honored. Instead, we were given a second-floor room near the elevator. At least it was close to the elevator—but the keys didn’t work. After going back down to the desk, the keys were still not fixed. A kind security guard tried to help and eventually returned with keys for a completely different room on the 4th floor, across the entire hotel. To get there from the second floor, we had to take stairs and then another elevator—definitely not easy for people with mobility issues. The parking lot was nearly empty, so I’m not sure why we were moved across the hotel instead of simply being placed in a more accessible room. When I again asked for extra pillows, the front desk told me I would have to wait until morning and ask housekeeping. A hotel with king beds should have extra pillows available at the front desk, but we had only three on the bed. Room Concerns The room itself also had issues. The living room area has no air conditioning, so the only way to cool it is by freezing out the bedroom. There are also no outlets near the bed, which is really inconvenient in today’s world. There were wasps all over the outside of the room. Mold in the shower. There is no breakfast at this Ramada. There is a side gate that does not work

Unfortunately, the positive start did not carry through. Along the pathway, there was quite a bit of dryer lint and debris scattered around, which made the area feel unkempt. Once inside our room, we were very disappointed to find it dirty. The floors were extremely dusty, as if they hadn’t been swept in weeks, and the overall cleanliness was far below expectations. While the hotel lobby and location are nice, the lack of cleanliness in the rooms was a major letdown. The experience did not reflect the photos online, and I would caution future guests not to rely solely on the pictures when booking.

Second time staying and most likely will not be back. I only like this place because of the location to the freeways. Hotel is extremely run down. We found a live cockroach and many ants. Despite switching rooms, conditions didn’t change. Balcony doors does not locked and had to rely on a stick on the bottom. Air conditioner is super loud. We can see mold in the sink. It also appears that they have seminars with loud noises/music. Pool appearance looks dirty. Workers seem apologetic but didn’t offer any compensation. Simply just told us that they are in the process of changing the brand name so it will no longer be Ramada. We stayed here for 4 nights. With everything going on, definitely not worth the price.

We called ahead asking if we could check in early to use the pool and were told it would be $70 extra—seriously? In all our Hilton stays, we’ve never been charged for that. When we finally got into our rooms, they were dirty and filled with flies. The air conditioner just blew stale, recycled air and made no difference at all. Outside wasn’t any better. Where we parked, someone was literally pushing trash underneath our car. The property may have once looked nice, but today I’m surprised it’s still open. On top of that, the check-in process was insulting. Being asked for multiple forms of identification just to add a second name to a room felt like we were being treated as if we were trying to commit fraud. The only positive about this hotel is its convenience to the freeway. Other than that, there is nothing worth staying here for. The poor management and lack of training are painfully obvious. I honestly hope this place gets shut down so that a properly run Hilton can open in its place. Not worth the price. Not worth the stay. Definitely not coming back.

Check out I wanted a receipt and was told that I had to get it from the company I booked with and be booking stays a lot do to business trips I already know that was not true but I just let it be. Also deposit showed $50 I was told if I use cash it’s $200 kinda crazy but it’s ok

We left to our concert, came back at 11pm after a wonderful evening. As we walked into the hotel, I walked into the restroom and saw that pipe had burst in the ceiling, and flooded the area and damaged my wifes sundries travel bag, all her cosmetics were ruined, as well as her hair dryer. I called the front desk as soon as possible, and the gentlemen said he would do what he can to help. I walked to the office and he wanted to see the damage, he confirmed and he gave me room keys to another room. After we packed our suit cases, and went to room 417, we realized that the light switches didn't work and neither did the A/C. My wife became very enitional and said "I dont like it here, it doesn't seem safe or clean, let's go home. So we went home after experiencing the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.

We stay at So.El Montel Ramada Inn for two nights, Aug.8 and 9th. The location is close to freeway very convenient, property ground was kept well. During our stay, We asked the front desk to bring some toiletry over because the room was not cleaned the first day. We found the shower wall is full of white spots or stain, asked the front count girl when she brought up the towels and stuff, she refused to look at it. Then she told us we need to inform the hotel within 15 minutes after checking in with any kind of problems! It is a very bad policy if she is telling the truth! The shower/tub was not properly cleaned, it should be corrected immedietly, we are upset because her attitude, very poor customer service indeed! We'll not come back to your location in the future.

The room looked and felt like it was stuck in a vampire layer. There was dust everywhere spiders everywhere you even get welcomed by one next to the front door and when you’re going out towards the pool and best believe they’re not cleaning that room unless you ask or switching out your towels but it wasn’t a convenient area next to the freeway and a coffee shop

had to go down to the desk 3 times due to key card not opening the door. not told that there is no housekeeping service daily unless requested. this needs to be made clear upon check in. guests should not have to go to get their own towels and have filled trash cans for each day of stay. the general grounds need to be keep in better repair and clean up. room was nice however.

Will stay here again when I’m in the area

The property was poorly maintained with spider webs noticeable. The couch in the room was severely soiled & couldn’t be sat on. We had to walk to front desk daily since our room key kept not working and we were in the back of the property. The pool looked dirty with cloudy water. The elevators smelled like old carpet with a hint of urine. Overall trashy stay. Never again

Had a mix up at hotel Sunday night stayed at family’s house!!! Hotel marked me as a no show even though room had Ben paid for!! I arrived Monday and was charged for the room on credit card! I would like to pay for Sunday and have the rest of days reimbursed!!! Thank u

Cons: room stinks. Breakfast is not served. Reception staff is unfriendly, showing attitude. Bees in the vent. Bees dead bodies and poops on the ground in the balcony.

The room is big. Check in is nice. Hot tub works. Near different donuts and mexican food

We were at a non smoker area and someone a room down from us was smoking. TVs in the room I was in were super small.

Although the hotael is not a new one, the attendants and clerks compensate it with a very good and polite job. I will return to this hotel when I am in LA again.

I did check in on their website thinking that the process will be faster, but to my surprise I had to check in person and took over 10 minutes.

It's a little outdated but in good overall condition. The price is very reasonable

Heavy stench of marijuana in room and the neighboring rooms were all smokers and there were cigarette butts all over the walkway. This was supposed to be a non smoking and non vaping hotel. They promised a full refund after some arguing.

Negatives- The room had a giant hole in the wall, the ceiling was stained, bathroom was filthy along the floor boards, the blow dryer was dirty I couldn't even use it, balcony was filthy and the bed was against it so you couldn't open the door. No tv remote on site. We needed a bucket for ice and the front desk handed us a dirty plastic bucket with no bag to hold the ice so the next morning we discovered the bucket had a crack in it so the counter had water all over it. Positives - room was cool, quiet and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The staff was incredibly nice, I felt bad for the staff having to work in those conditions.

cheap and convient

Property needs improvement, but for one night stay it is reasonable. Enjoyed the pool. Restroom had hand bars to get in and out of tub which we requested accessibility shower.

I didn't enjoy it that much. Many old items and there is an old smell at the rooms. It requires some updates and be cleaner.

We were in town for a family function. Location was perfect.

Horrible experience. Loud music, jumping, and the amount of traffic into the rooms. I ended up leaving the same day and will never be back! It felt like a long term residential complex.

Mold above AC unit Pulled down sheets and killed a baby spider as well as there was writing on bedsheets Killed another little spider in bathroom floor Moldy pipe coming out of ceiling in bathroom Light where sofa was kept going off and on all night! Very annoyed
