Room was clean and updated, checkin and check out was easy, staff was nice, breakfast area was small but was ok. Restaurants and stores are close by. Water Conservation Garden and Heritage of the Americas Museum were close by. Online the property looks nicer but overall our stay was pleasant.

The rooms were not clean, mats were bad. Staff was not cooperative in assigning room. Breakfast was laughable, just milk, cereal, bread and muffins. Serving plates and bowls were really thin , made of cheap quality.

The water pressure in the shower was very weak. I arrived late so I had to park a little further than I was hoping for from my room. Other than that, everything was good

Nothing Well, I normally don't have any complaints but this visit the floor in our room was so filthy that my feet were black like the tar in the parking lot.!!! All the other times I stayed never had a problem. Rm 221 MOP THAT FLOOR!!!

I just honestly would never stay there again and I had my family with me and my children didn't like it at all either.

No hot water in the shower and when I called front desk and asked they said there should be hot water. Need to let the water run for a bit to get hot water. Never got hot water waited 15 min with the shower on and nothing

Breakfast is a simple cereal,cooked waffles or some coffee/juice. The staff was 100% friendly especially the older guy who helped me check in at night but the property was bad, our fridge was leaking and when we used the shower the water was coming out the sides.

Don't be fooled by the aged sign on the pole, the rooms have been renovated, with good workmanship. A bonus is the tiny Thai restaurant just 2 blocks south on Magnolia Blvd. Access to I-8 and 67 is flawless. Excellent value.

Nothing was around the neighborhood. It is a good place to stay if you are going to do something in the neighborhood. One night was ok but the description in the booking with miles were not accurate.

Hotel Management canceled our stay halfway through after having an a medical emergency that required an ambulance to take me out for surgery. When I was released two days later from the hospital my family still correctly state at the hotel they moved us to the handicap room and then complained of plumbing issues that we did not have issues with only to find out it was next to the resident employee on the property.

The breakfast was slices of bread or frozen eggos that you could toast, or cold cereal. It was kind of pathetic. But we only stayed one night so for the money and the clean room, I think I would stay here again if I was in the area again.

The hotel was fine but the neighborhood is terrible. I pulled in late and found a person parked in the lot trying to get my attention by saying violent murmurs. So strange how you can find drunk people walking around on the street in front at any hour. The majority of non chain restaurants are cash only. All pointing to a different town for me on my next trip.

The couch was totally gross. We had to eat outside. Bed was comfortable enough, but we wouldn’t stay there again. Even toilet seat was very loose and swung just by lifting the lid.

I didn't know that there wasn't a swimming pool. I thought my daughter would have been able to go swimming. The breakfast did not have many options and no protein. Like eggs or bacon. They had Eggo waffles, toast and the coffee to was cheap. My fridge did not work

Upon arrival saw kids playing outside of room. Lots of street noise. Limited breakfast packaged goods. The coffee was decent. I was afraid I’d have trouble sleeping because of the outside noise but the room air conditioner was so loud I couldn’t hear anything else. I slept soundly. Bed was comfortable and clean but the bed linens had holes in them.

There was a homeless person living in a junk car in front of my room in the parking lot. The mgr said they would move it but didn't. Eyesore and a little scary. I did not feel safe.

Tv doesn’t work; mold just painted over; shower spigot sprayed water everywhere; super noisy; breakfast was awful. The second room we got switched to wreaked of smoke and the AC didn’t work well, so we got moved back to the first room with the mold and shower/tv all messed up. Not a good stay at all

I had to wait a while to ck in because system was down. Carpet in room was filthy. Shower had no pressure and the pillows were lumpy. Bk of door was filthy. There was coffee in room, but no coffee maker nor iron and ironing board. Breakfast was horrible. Packaged tools, bread and pancakes. Two inks of cereal with warm milk. Not worth the 200+ charge for the night. AC didn’t throw out cold air.

Visiting family for several days, this motel was about a mile from their house and a couple blocks from freeway access, very convenient. Fridge, microwave and table with chairs. Safe, short walk to local Thai, Pizza, Starbucks, etc. Staff were kind and responsive. Very clean, daily housekeeping visit. On site safety well monitored.

For me it was a great stay i made an extra un-needed reservation pre paid thru a third party app wich stated clearly how to cancel or change reservation which i was really passed the times but the employee on lobby was really nice to help me with my issue no problem and safe me 100 dlls that where already lost.rooms and hotel are clean, room looked like the floor needed a broom and mop not to big of a deal the hotel is so quiet i could only hear the cars driving by, i will definitely recommend super 8 hotel.

The location is really sketchy.. the smell made me slighly nauseous... the plumbing is so bad and we had to plung the toilet... the beds are soo firm the blankets are basiclly sheets... the free breakfast was basically cereal... Definitely not worth $100 a night, and when i voiced my concerns the front desk said they would let the owner know of the complaints...

It is not a new motel, and I was disappointed that there wasn't a pool, but when I booked, I didn't check. The room itself was clean and well-kept. Minimalist in decor. I usually bring items to make it more homey and cozy, so I appreciated that I didn't have to work in a color scheme with poor taste. The staff was helpful and efficient at check-in. I didn't need them for anything else. The area around the motel was dirty and a little blighty. Businesses not in business, and some homeless individuals. I wouldn't have felt comfortable walking around the neighborhood. It was convenient to get to the freeway, places to eat, and some shopping by car.

Very restful quiet and staff is really friendly the best one in elcajon

Room was in terrible condition. The shower sprayed all over the ceiling and had horrible pressure. The neighborhood was very ghetto. Ive stayed here before but it has really gone downhill.

Everything was great. Only thing i would complain about is the water pressure and the breakfast selections.

Fine motel for passing through

Bed was to soft, asked for room on first floor he said no problem and put me on the second floor. Had to go buy ice , machine was broken. The girl at 7/11 said their ice machine was always broken. Other than that it was okay.

The grave yard man isn’t friendly. I had to stay on the second floor and the elevator smelled very bad. Other than that it was a nice place.

The previous reviews rated higher than what is deserved. I am low maintenance person so this hotel met my needs but property was dirty, poor breakfast, shady area, limited parking, room had cigarette smoke smell, fridge making noise all night. Hotel reminds me of a crack head hotel where you just do your business and leave.Limited parking in the front but has many parking spaces further away. Facility is old and needs to be upgraded.

They regularly toss garbage from the 2nd story, not caring if someone is below. They almost hit me in the head, and they were throwing garbage around my family as we were packing to leave. The old lady in the picture is the one doing that. The place smelled like a dead rat, we had to clean the fridge tray, as it was full of blood!

The cleaning staff here are terrible people, they almost hit me on the head with a garbage bag, as they toss the garbage from the 2nd floor. The old cleaning lady is lazy and very disrespectful, she’s the one tossing garbage. They don’t clean the rooms very well, our room reeked like a dead rat. We cleaned the room ourselves. Managers are good people. It’s close to the free way.
