I felt very unsafe at this property. There was a some questionable people hanging out. I immediately went to dollar tree to get sanitizing wipes and spray to clean the place. Thank god it wasn’t carpet. When I came back to room after concert at 1 am, there were three guys hanging out on stairs that lead to room. I had to go up stairs on the further side to avoid them. I had trouble sleeping because I didn’t feel safe.

Stay away. Room is disgusting, roaches everywhere & dirty sheets.

I checked in and went to the room and found a light fixture hanging off the wall, room smelled like cigarette smoke, towels in the bathroom were either dirty or stained, dirt on the floor, was afraid to check the bed. Went to the office and said I didn't want to stay and cancel my reservation. Was assured by office staff that they would ok a credit upon talking to Expedia. That did not happen, Expedia could not get ahold of them to check on credit, so I was charged the whole amount. Horrible experience.

The rooms do not look like anything that they do online and also too many homeless people and drug people hang on the property.

The bedroom of the mattress had burnt cigars and brown stuff on it the towels where dirty the tube was dirty and out of no where they called me to tell me they won’t rent to me again with no reason and due to that I miss work and got a write up and got in trouble or didn’t get my money back and I’m also healing from a gunshot wound :( worst customer ever I have never been treated as a person or human being like that ever in my life with any Hotle.

It’s a trap house. Drug dealers and addicts stay here. The shower barely worked, the toilet kept flushing. There was no soap. No conditioner. The refrigerator and microwave were unplugged. There were burn marks and cigarette stains in the sheets and comforter on the bed. The towels were poorly maintained and dirty. It smelled like meth when we opened the door. We left after an hour. The pictures of this location were completely misleading. I was so upset I couldn’t even ask for a refund.

Was a beat up dump, needed paint, patching, new floor, an airing. Nice bed. Toilet clogs easily and flusher does not turn off the water--with both you get flooding of the floor. Neighborhood rife with addicts. One tenant dumping bucket of water from second floor balcony!!!

Nothing. I booked a room online. When I arrived, the front desk person said they had no more rooms available. They didn’t call me to notify me. I drove 45 minutes in heavy rain.

The A/C had to be turned on from the other side of the room, not on the A/C unit. NO kitchen, but a microwave on top of the fridge that wobbles. The security lock broken, hole in the wall should of seen the dead give away, chair was dirty with stains, dirty walls in the bathroom

Air conditioner was poor, a few bugs. It is a old motel so I didn’t expect alot. It was far better than Motel 6 when it comes hearing your neighbors through the walls. The TV selection of channels was also superior to most motels.

My reservation was canceled when I showed up at the property. They didn't call or email me to say this, I had to drive 1.5 hr to find this out. They told me they will refund and this was on 3/6. After 72 hrs, there was no refund. I called Expedia and got no refund after another 72 hrs. I finally called again to finally get a full refund. Im glad it was canceled; the neighborhood was not the best. I would be afraid my car would be broken in. The owner/receptionist stays in the handicap room next to the lobby because it was the only door that had metal bars on it.

Its being really good so far. The staff are nice. Clean rooms. Good lighting at night. I feel safe in my room thats very important to me. And its affordable.

Our room was missing a desk and 2 chairs for after our work, TV had to be reinstalled by hotel crew, roaches all over the room and the kitchen was a mess, sorry about disclosing these complaints but it needs to be corrected. Tenants upstairs as well as next door were noise, drunk and fighting, if there's no maid then have broom and mop available.

It’s comfy and staff are very hospitable everyone around is very friendly and the tvs are huge. Recently remodeled with nice studios with kitchenettes available. This place has come a long way

The management and staff consistently show attentiveness to the tenants' needs. I appreciate their kindness and openness, paired with a strong sense of professionalism. Management has also been working diligently to complete many needed repairs, and their efforts are clearly improving the overall condition of the property.

Guests here are all in different situations, sometimes staying short‑term or longer, and considering the location and factors outside their control, management does a good job keeping the property and community clean and well‑managed.

The rooms are all roach infested, the furniture is disgustingly filthy, the air conditioning didn't work in the 1st 2 rooms, there were hairs in the sheets in 2 rooms and the T.V. had to be fixed in the 3rd room. One of the large towels was folded so that you couldnt see until you opened it that one side was stained black. This place should not be rented by anyone ever and should be removed from Expedia and all legitimate booking sites. I never complain, but this place is ridiculous.

The room that I was put in had bed bugs and when I brought it to the attention of the staff all they did was say sorry they didn't offer a discount they didn't offer a refund nothing I would like to request a refund. They're also were tons of cockroaches the floors were dirty the bathroom looked like it had recently flooded sheets look like they hadn't been cleaned in months the blanket was actually a curtain. When I first arrived the manager came outside as I was getting things out of my truck and asked me what I was doing there. Someone got hit with a hammer in the head one of the nights.

Absolutely dirty and disgusting, roaches were everywhere inside and the water pressure wasn’t working at all and no hot water. The pictures posted for this hotel are misleading and look nothing like the real thing. If I could give no stars I would. Never coming here again or recommending to anyone.

Not to bad mouth the place but it was like one of those shady places you see im the cop movies. The clientele looked shady. One room smelled terribly of cigarette and on a a mirror there was a message written that said “y’all didn’t think I would know” ?then a second room the furniture was old & chipped. I decided not to stay. I asked Booking.com to ask for a refund but it never came. Everything! Cleaner rooms, newer furniture.

I checked into the property around 10:30pm. First thing I saw in my room was at least 4 roaches. I went back to the front desk turned in my key and left. The staff wasn't rude at all. The facility is infested with roaches. Totally unacceptable.

They canceled my reservation without notifying me in advance, make me in n a terrible situation without room in that area, hotel.com should compensate me on that issue

Room was clean. Just a strong smell of clorox. Everything worked. Looked nice inside. No people hanging outside. Nice experience. Had donuts and coffee from 7 am to 10 am. Staff was accommodating and let me check in hours early when I was late for a funeral. I requested a room downstairs because my husband is disabled and they gave me one with no problem. Parking was right in front of the room. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was because I reserve 5 stars for 5 star hotels, but it was a good stay. Bed was comfortable. I have no complaints. Will come again.

This hotel has come a long way from a few years ago, the walls are clean and painted with fresh paint, the bed was exceptionally big and comfy, the tv was huge witch made it seem like u were in a theater, the wifi is the best (uncensored) wifi ive used in any hotel in a long time. Overall cleanliness is a 9 compared to the 4 i gave before... The front desk staff is helpful, polite and goes out of there way to make sure u are comfortable 100%better than the hotel that it was prior to the rodeway inn....👍

Overall, this property was really good. There was plenty of parking, ice machine, microwave, refrigerator, and an extra large TV. I had trouble getting the TV to turn on, but the staff was great and assisted me with that. Everything was in fair condition. However, the tub was a little old looking and the shower head needs to be replaced. Overall, I would stay here again. I was very satisfied overall.

I filtered to reserve specific - allows pets and kitchenette. Was a 1 week reservation. Was given a double (reserved a single) was told “they should charge me more”. They were serious. We checked in late afternoon. The place was truly filthy. A complete dump-dive. I have pics. No exaggeration : the tub/shower and sink had so much scum it changed colors w/cleaning and needed surfacing repair so bad. The shower curtain was yellow, scummy and changed colors w/ cleaning too. Floor not even swept nor mopped (dirt, stains, spills and sunflower seed shells everywhere and as much as 1/4” corner scum/dirt/buildup Hand and dirty prints on every wall, filthy. Cockroaches everywhere…we killed so many. The air conditioner looked like it had BM dried up and other filth on it. Drawers that wouldn’t close, no smoke alarm, no fire water system, no wheel stops/brakes on bed, and, to top it off - no kitchenette. We had to throw away 7 lbs of chuck beef, 7 lbs of boneless chicken breast and all my condiments. Our home wasn’t habitable for the week. It was everything from our frig/freezer. And the added expense of eating out every meal. I tried to speak with the management and corporate. Excuses from the management and very lame offers to “accommodate” from corporate Points for a free nights stay. - “No Thank You. That’s actually stupid. This place should be shut down for health and safety compliance. The only good thing was a convenient location.

Checking in was fairly easy and straightforward, but seeing a younger family member sitting alongside while playing with a tablet seemed a bit unprofessional to me and I guess that is what distracted her from telling me where my room was located or she expected me to find it for myself. Getting into the room, I was immediately hit with what could only be a chemical smell of what they could have used to get rid of the smoke in the room since it was a “No Smoking” room to begin with. There was a decorative picture that was taken down from the wall and placed on the side of the room. The microwave was a bit of a joke and didn’t have the rotating plate inside of it. The curtain for the shower was not properly put up so the curtain could fully close and the water was hard to adjust from hot to warm. The mattress to the bed was unevenly worn and the sheets were not even fitted to the bed. At least the A/C worked and the TV was nice and big to enjoy. But it was a place with a bed and shower. So there’s that.

Called me sale day to cancel room

The staff was ok, room was dirty and looked like it had not been cleaned in months. There was alot going on at night and i was uncomfortable and had a hard time sleeping. There was no parking, if i didnt have a handicap placards i wouldnt have been able to stay the second night. No way to check out in the morning, i left at 930am and there was no one in the office. All in all this was not a positive experience

If I could leave a negative review I would. The pictures on the website are probably 20+ years old. Noisy people, unsafe area, stained sheets and towels, horrible shower head looks like a pipe coming out of the wall, dirty tubs, had to use shower shoes, somehow the bathroom smelt like weed. Over all an unclean room and even had lifted floor boards with water underneath that was no where near a water source. The person above us decided to walk/move furniture all night and we got no sleep, staff wasn’t there to inform. Also allows people to permanently live there. They also never clean their “pet area”. Just disgusting, should be shut down. We paid for 4 nights and left after 3; We couldn’t handle it anymore. Spend the money and stay somewhere else. I wish I listed to the negative reviews. Considering reporting them.

Dirty rooms

Honestly, this hotel is disgusting. First of all I called before reserving to ask if the standard room, king size bed has a stove, microwave, and fridge and the guy told me yes. When we arrived there was no stove. They offered to change me to a room with stove for $40 bucks more so I said sure. We walk in the new room and you can tell that the only thing they did to the room was febreeze it. Everything was dusty, the fooors dirty, the shower was dirty as well. The shower curtains were all moldy and black at the bottom! Disgusting place. Later that day we tried to cook on the stove and it never turned on! Honestly, what the hell is up with this place.

I immediately asked the front desk to move me to a cleaner, more decent room, but they claimed the hotel was full and that this was the only option. It was past midnight and I was exhausted, so I had no choice but to stay. The towels were disgusting, and the shower was in such bad shape we didn’t even use it. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. This place is misleading customers with false advertising and overcharging for substandard conditions. Absolutely unacceptable.

Yo checkin was goid, staff was nuce. When i got in the room, it smelled like cigarette smike and the towels looked like some used them to clean the engine of their car. The tub was really dirty, soap scum everywhere and rust. The shower curtain was dirty, it needed to be thrown away. The tv was huge and the bed was ok. Will never stay here again.
