I got to the room and it smelled like pot, really bad. There were no towels. When I called the front desk nobody answered. I had to call on my cell phone to get through to them. They said housekeeping had run out of towels. I did get some towels but I had to ask for them. I know my rate was a "discount" but $148. For a room with nothing and it stunk like a skunk.

It’s a motel six. Don’t expect much. But if all you need is a shower and bed it’ll do just fine.

The room was great, clean, stocked and everything I needed. The staff was great especially the morning girl in the office. They don't have coffee makers in the rooms but they have good fresh coffee in the office from 6 - 10 in the mornings. I was able to have my dog and there were other dogs there too. The other occupations were fine. I didn't have any problems and I have no complaints. I'm hoping to stay there again. Everything there was good

The beds were comfortable. The location was good for the reason for our visit to Lakeside. The room was not appealing at all. The paint job was terrible. There was dust/dirty on the floors. We booked the room for 3 people yet there were only two towels in the room. Had found a housekeeper and asked for an extra towel. She called someone on the radio but the towel never came. Next morning I call the front desk asking again for a towel and was told I needed to go to the front office to pick up. When I got there, they were out but said they could have one brought to the room. Been there and only had an hour before checkout so we ended up getting a bunch of hand towels.

Easy to find and check in. We didn't have all the towels we needed when we got to our room, and it took a little while to get them. We did discover a bed bug, which put a big damper on the rest of our stay. The staff was ok. We woudn't stay here again if we had other options but maybe if we have to stay there again the experience would be better.

Well, there are squatters living. There are very rude and nasty, which is kind of messed up when we’re actually paying customers and they’re just squatters not paying for anything acting like they own the place but they pretty much do.

Availability Bath tub dirty, floor not MOPPED, wooden head board kept hitting the wall, room smelled like CIGARETTES.

The room above me or in the area above me was like banging on the ceiling for hours. Kids were outside screaming till about 12:30 in the morning then started with loud music about 545 in the morning. They have squatters staying there and they’re not very nice people so the people who actually pay for their rooms have nasty ass so-called neighbors.

The room was filthy. I walked barefoot and discovered my feet were completely black from dirt. The noise outside from people and cars was awful. Hard to sleep with that noise. Not enough towels for two people to shower. Human hair fragments dispersed through the bathroom and bed area. You could see light coming through the door. The beds were squeaky and you could feel the springs. The sink was unprofessionally painted black. The absolute worst hotel experience I ever had. Hotels.com should never havecplaces like that on their motel list. Obviously I will never ever stay there again. And on my next trip, I'm seriously considering using another service.

The room was clean however the bed was the worse bed I have ever been on. Laying on straight springs!

Its affordable, there shopping and places to get food . Only down fall no fridge store food. No microwave in rooms . You have to go to lobby every time to warm your food up.

After a bit of a rocky start because of flight changes and having to rebook, a good 2 weeks, will stay there again

Staff very helpful, left my set of keys after checking out didn't realize till later. Called and they said house keeper will look for them. Found and called....luckily live local went and pick up keys from lobby. Price was reasonable. Room was clean, the bed mattress not very comfy only complaint but is a Motel 6 not a 5 start hotel.

The new management is absolutely terrible. The entire property is going downhill since they took over a month ago. Really sad.

Worst place ever, extremely dirty, toilet was not working and once it overfilled all over bathroom and sleeping area. Once I notified front desk I was told there was nothing they can do and no one to clean it up. Front staff gave me trash bags a rags. Just horrible

The non-smoking room to smoke there were people taking multiple parking spaces for their vehicles. Air conditioning kept the room cold however, the room was not clean. The floors were disgusting. I wouldn’t step barefoot on them or in the shower either.

Very basic amenities, a bar of soap, bath + hand and face towel and toilet paper. No fridge or microwave in room. One microwave for use in front of reception. Coffee at reception in the morning. Laundry machine and vending machines next to reception. Pool was clean.

Rooms clean, shady people around and some people live there, people working on cars, bed so old they are dented and coils hurt, thin walls and you can hear everything, room numbers not in order. It was very noisey. If you need cheap and dont mind comfort and are willing to deal with poor conditions.

Power outage went out , a lot of random people walking around , it smelled like marijuana . Manager was not helpful , reception was not helpful or knowledgeable. Room was not clean floors where dusty .

The motel from the outside looked very nice but too much outside noise. People are listening to loud music outside with the car doors open. A lot of people hanging out outside and just looking at you strange. We had trouble sleeping it was around 12-1am ppl kept making a lot of noise right outside our door. Would not recommend

I loved the staff, very friendly and helpful. I liked that it was pet friendly and everyone kept the area clean of pet waste. Room was clean and staff checked in regularly to make sure I had clean towels and housekeeping.

The room wreaked of cigarette smoke. Made us all cough and I had to give my toddler an inhaler because of it. Was told it was because we were next to a smoking room but they couldn't move me due to no availability. Parking was fine, but there was a person not in her right mind walking back and forth in the parking lot. The room was dirty (dog treats on the floor in the bathroom, brown smears in the bathtub, hair on the sheets and floors). The bed was extremely thin and uncomfortable; you could see the springs through the mattress where it was sunk in on the sides. No breakfast, just coffee. Will NEVER book there again.

The reviews here about being a good place are LIES. We got my two rooms downgraded because they had been given out to others. And we had to wait for a room because it was not ready(not clean)

Most of the stuff are nice a majority of the staff, including the manager needs guest service management classes or whatever you wanna call them they think it’s funny when employees park in disabled parking because they’re dating somebody there and he wants to get laid and then other guests parking disabled parking no placard they park in the lines. All they do is laugh about it. They do absolutely nothing. Everybody can park with where they want. Depends on who you are or anything get done. It’s like they say it’s who you know.

People park in disabled parking with no placard and people park in the lines and security does nothing about it told the manager and he just laughed there are a few very nice staff members a few. I don’t know hard to explain, but none of them are really mean.

My family and I stayed for 3 nights. We got there and got assigned a room with 1 bed no refrigerator which I originally requested and paid for. I called front office and Lauren moved us to another room without a refrigerator and not accommodating for my elderly mother which I requested when I booked room. She said they would bring refrigerator over and never did. The room was clean but couldn’t sleep because there was a lot of activity outside and the smell of marijuana was very strong inside and outside when you walked out the room. Wasn’t a great stay and I will not be staying here again. Bad customer service and rooms need repair.

Safety & Disturbances: Drug activity was openly evident throughout the property in common areas and the parking lot. I experienced constant noise disturbances at all hours—day and night—from guests and their activities that made it impossible to rest. Multiple dogs were barking continuously, creating an unsettling and disruptive environment. Property Management: The property appeared to house long-term residents, giving it a run-down, neglected appearance. This created an unstable atmosphere that made me uncomfortable during my entire stay. Overall: This location failed to provide a safe, clean, or quiet environment. The room was in unacceptable condition and the entire property showed alarming signs of poor management and neglect. I would not recommend this motel to anyone and will not be returning.

I didn't use the laundry facility. I didn't feel safe. Not only is this property a hotel, but it's an extended stay facility, which is fine but I wish I had know before booking. I booked 2 rooms, 159 & 161. Room 161 was not ready for occupancy at 3, it was after 4 that I finally got into my room,and it had a strong order of vinegar. Room 159, had some serious problems. The toilet backed up 2 times and had to be unclogged. The sink in the bathroom was very unstable, loose and I felt it would fall off the wall at any moment. The telephone didn't work, and the A/C was barely adequate and was unable to read the control instructions. There wasn't any table or chair to put food on to eat. The mattress were very old and uncomfortable. What bothered me the most was the noise and the overwhelming smell of Marijuana. I understand it's legal, but this was a non-smoking rooms and after being out for the day coming back it was disgusting. The people hanging around outside were questionable, especially since there was a mental health facility across the street. I traveled with my daughter and 2 disabled grandkids, we made sure we were in the rooms before dark. But, the staff was friendly.

I was charged for several convenience fee and was not told about them nor was explained about the purpose of them I walked in the office to a worker explaining that there was a convenience fee and the purpose of them to a woman im not sure if it was a race thing the woman was a different race from me and had kids just like i did even a car the only difference was our race , on top of that, I was put in a room that was infested with bugs little black bugs.The shower head was broken and housekeeping.Only came to the room once or twice during my whole stay i checked in october 10th and I checked out october 25th despite me constantly calling and asking for housekeeping, I've asked for housekeeping to come. Prior to me getting off work, I asked for housekeeping to come after I got off of work. I was told I was able to set up a specific time, so I did that still no housekeeping, however. The Times that I got off work and I was in the room sleep with my son.They would knock on the door and/or call the room and ask me if I want housekeeping and when I will let them know.Yes, and again.Set a certain time they would not come i had to clean the room myself.

I was there for a sport event and my teammate, who wasn’t named on the reservation got there first, was allowed to check in. I showed up to check in but that night clerk would NOT allow it. I had my gov’t ID, my credit card used to pay for the stay and my name in the system, yet he refused me to check in and get my room key. It wasn’t until after 15 mins of arguing, that my roommate showed up that he finally gave me the room key.

I understand charging for having ruined a sheet because you cut yourself in your room but charging $40 for a sheet is ridiculous

BEST shower pressure and temperature I’ve ever had at a budget motel. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Towels weren’t great. Occupants next to me would smoke directly outside their door so I could smell it but that’s not the company’s fault necessarily. Ample parking. And under $100 on a weekend. Great value overall, just keep in mind it is still a Motel 6.

I have only stayed on this property a couple times recently. I would definitely not recommend because I ended up getting bedbugs. It had to be from this hotel. It’s the only place that I stayed. The last time I stayed there there was a couple arguing and fighting almost all night. To make things worse they didn’t even have an ice machine and in the room, there was no microwave or refrigerator. I will not stay here unless you’re desperate and willing to take a risk with the bedbugs.

I know you get what you pay for, but usually when I stay here, I have no complaints, but this time when I checked in, it was blood on the pillow and pee in the toilet when I went to the office to go let them know. I got nothing but attitude Yes, they switched my room, but it’s just a simple fact have some kind of compassion.

Was given a room key to another room that was already occupied with the door wide open. Had to call the manager to address this inconvenience that i was put through which they put in a lower value 1 bed room when i paid for a higher value room that was suppose to have 2 beds.

Facilities outside are in poor condition. Two ice machines of which neither worked. When asked where the closest store was to get ice i was reluctantly given directions a few miles away. Upon return to motel I found store on the next block from motel. I was misguided for some unknown reason. Ridiculous! Room was ok as far as bed. No coffee, no shampoo and a piece of soap that was the smallest piece I had ever seen. Ghetto lights outside were on imminent invasion strength ans illuminated the room. This property and its management should be a true embarrassment to the brand.

Hotel was decent for a motel 6. Room was clean and spacious. Parking was safe and lighted . Check in was quick and easy. Needed a place to sleep after a soccer game . This was perfect without spending a lot . Would stay again.

I called a few hours before arriving and Daniella was friendly answering my questions, professional assuring me that the room would be available when we arrived late. It was and the motel was sold out. Brandon did a stellar job at the front desk with a 100% score on the check-in and the security guard was nice and friendly not questioning us with the Sold Out Tonight sign having reservations. The ice machine has not worked for over a year now, since they dont provide fridges i would think they would at least have a working ice machine. The air conditioner barely worked at times it was hot in the room cuz of it not working. Wasnt too comfortable of a stay😔

Remember, you get what you pay for. We made it work. It would be horrible for a family, but for two adults, it was ok. The grounds were dirty. There was a car parked there that looked like it has been there for months. There was a security guard sitting on an office chair looking at his phone in the parking lot. There is one thin blanket on the bed. No hair dryer. Smelled like weed horribly!!

Careless staff

Not a bad location but no fridges in the rooms and the ice machine was broken - the staff just told us to go to 7-11 and buy ice if we wanted it. Manager was disrespectful when asked and then confronted about the solution. I only stayed 1 night out of the 5 and was told I wouldn't get my money back (this was resolved). No customer service and blames the customers for not having time to fix a broken ice machine.

The grass in the common area with the picnic table has not been mowed in ages, grass is almost a foot long. It’s where the dogs go to relieve themselves, and you can’t walk in it for fear of stepping in something.‼️ Not even shampoo in the rooms this place is on the cheap to a scale unknown. Even the sink is disgusting to look at.‼️ When I asked the manager to reimburse me the $4.79 that I spent to buy ice he just said no. Just disgusting, stay away, too many other choices‼️

The staff were very friendly. Had no issues giving extra towels when asked. But, Ron had no refrigerator, and anytime we tried to get ice, the ice maker was always empty. I think one time in the 5 day stay were we able to get enough ice to fill out little bucket. We also had zero water pressure in the bathroom sink. We had to use the tub water for everything. The bed was a lot softer then we prefer, but we made due. The parking lot security was always there, but, i felt bad, because it always seemed to be the same guy; day or night. Does he get s day or night off?????

Homeless encampment on the other side of the fence. Ice machine was constantly broken. The guests kids were up all night running up and down the stairs yelling I had to get up and tell them to knock it off. Front desk employee not helpful. We ended up leaving early though we had pre paid for the week. We won’t stay there again.

Beds were very uncomfortable; security did nothing about the people talking and dogs barking at all hours of the night. One night security were the ones talking outside at 3am. Walls and ceiling were very thin, door had a gap al the way around letting light and sound in 24/7. We stayed for 6 nights and I never got a good night sleep due to all these issues. No fridge or safe. Choose any other motel 6 or other motel/hotel in the area I will never stay at this location again.

Found roaches in the room and the mattresses were horrible. This is the worst sleep we have had in a hotel. Mattress was on just the springs and indented/tilted to one side.

Ok stay. But wouldn't stay again bed mattress were poor quality but sheets were clean. Guy at front desked seemed like he hated his job bigtime. Area was good for places to eat and close. Security guy in parking lot was nice to have. Easy check in.

Roaches in our room and it was supposedly non-smoking but reeked of cigarettes.

Basic room . Very nice for an overnight stay.

It was an inexpensive way to spend the weekend, but don’t recommend if you plan to go to San Diego area, it was too far.

The over all motel was a good stay, clean rooms helpful staff. It would be the people or surroundings room, neighbors that are the problem. The night of our stay a group gathered outside to drink and talk past 2am, Very loud and obnoxiously.

Clean and confortable.

The beds were uncomfortable.you could feel the springs poke you in the back. For a non smoking room we sure had a lot of cigarette burns in the floor.

I seen roaches in my room and woke up with bites. Although the man who checked me in had great customer service, the room was terrible. It was not sanitary and there is no way I should be paying to sleep with bugs. I am beyond disappointed.

Located on the corner of a busy intersection and right off the freeway. Sound of emergency sirens were frequent. Towels and sheets were stained. Floor was dirty. House cleaning was a nuisance. Room key card was faulty, required 3 trips to the office at one time, until a newer one was finally issued.

Pool closes at 6:00 pm in summer. Disappointed as this location is in Sourhern California. Silly.

Great stay all staff friendly and helpful . Room was more than I expected as far as cleanliness and comfort of the bed .

The mattress was awful! It had more rolls than Texas Roadhouse. It took minutes for the bathroom light to come on. The floors were wobbly. Burn marks on the nightstand. The rooms really need to be updated

This place needs to be clean. He needs a lot of maintenance around the property. I stayed in a non-smoking room and it smelled more like it was a smoking room not too clean. Neither was the property. It needs a lot of maintenance to be clean. I will never come back to this place.

A nice clean place for the price. Was a great room. The only downfall was I was by the pool and the kids were loud, but kids were being kids so can’t complain. At least they were off of phone screens and video games

Reasonably priced for being last minute. Room was clean. Towels and sheets were white and bleached. Luggage rack was available. Excellent staff, very helpful and friendly. Just keep in mind Security was onsite. Good experience overall if it's just for a hot shower and a clean bed.

Halfway housing for homeless and the less fortunate

Very limited on the ice. 2 machines and 1 never worked. Lots ot transients. Very dirty pool. Woild not recommend to my worst enemies. Only clean rooms 1 day a week.

It’s a safe place to be for the short term. The worst thing about this place is that the beds are no where close to being supportive. It kinda feels like they’re using mattresses that have been used beyond their lifetimes and makes for an uncomfortable sleep.

The rooms smelled like mold & the floors were dirty. There was dog poop outside of my room & around the property & in the downstairs room kids we could hear running, yelling, etc. above us.

It’s a decent stay if you have a budget in mind. The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable. It is a long-term stay community, so you will see and hear that type of environment.

Ok room for price. Smelled like cigarettes though and the bathroom was 👎

The clientele was just not very appealing and seemed very sketchy
