The staff were all very friendly. My traveling companion had a medical emergency and they were understanding and accommodating to us. We were given a different room to transfer to because the bathroom in ours was a complete mess after the incident. They were patient, compassionate and kind the whole way through. Additionally the breakfast spread was the best we’d had over those few days of travel.

"I had a positive overall stay here because the rooms were fantastic and the breakfast was great. However, the amenities and extra services really missed the mark. The hot tub was broken, the pool area needed serious maintenance, and the shuttle completely dropped the ball—leaving me stranded at the train station while I sat on hold for 27 minutes, forcing me to take an Uber back. A mixed bag, but the room quality and breakfast saved the trip!"

Pristine room with comfortable pillow-top beds and obvious new room amenities such as touch-lamps, keurig machine, many charge outlets, and provided full-sized soap/shampoo/conditioner. Delicious breakfast buffet including cinnamon buns, turkey sausage, greek yogurts, fruit juices, eggs options and freshly ground coffee bar!

We truly enjoyed the breakfast and thought the location was well within driving distance to some restaurants. We had a quiet room which we had requested and were on one of the top floors. Front desk staff very professional and also answered any questions that we had. We couldn't think of anything else that we needed really.

We were there for 3 nights. Housekeeping did an excellent job everyday. Breakfast was excellent and the front desk staff were great. We will definitely book this hotel again when we are in Maryland again.

Check in was simple and the Desk staff were very friendly efficient and informative. The room was clean and spacious. Besides bed and bedside tables, the furniture included a nice desk, a built in suitcase rack, a coffee maker, a microwave and a small fridge and freezer. There was also about a 50 inch TV and a comfortable lounging chair. The bed was very comfortable with a selection of pillows. There were both day shades and black out shades. The bathroom was large and had plenty of towels. The water pressure in the shower was good. The breakfast was from 6:30-9:30 AM and was really nice. There was a range of hot and cold options from dry cereal to two kinds of eggs, pancakes and danish. There was also fruit and yogurt. Coffee was included and there was water and a few other kinds of juices. If you leave this breakfast hungry, it is your own fault! Check out was as easy as check in with a great morning desk staff on duty. We would definitely stay here again. Oh! As a matter of fact we already DO have a reservation to stay again. If you are in this area and need a nice hotel that will take good care of you, please try this one! You will not be disappointed!

The entire state was welcoming by the staff. Breakfast was good quality and kept up with extremely well.

I had the worst experience with the tall man who works the front desk. He was extremely rude and would not allow my companion to check in, even though they were on the reservation. He offered no assistance and made my companion wait 6 hours before we were able to check in, which is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I appreciate Carl and the woman who works the front desk, they are both kind and professional. However, they cannot make up for their terrible co-worker.

This place was immaculate! Our family stayed here on a Saturday night. It was easy to find from the highway, parking was adequate and free, and the staff member who checked us in was efficient and friendly. We stayed in one of the larger rooms with two beds and a sleeper sofa, which they provided the sheets/blanket for in one of the cabinets. I appreciated that they are more eco-friendly by using refillable soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the bathroom instead of single use bottles or bars. They provided k-cups in the room with caffeinated and decaf coffee, which were both tasty, and they also had grind-to-brew coffee available in the lobby at all times. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, the couch was fine, and the A/C unit was quiet enough that it didn't wake up a very light sleeper in our party when it switched on/off overnight (full disclosure: we did have a sound machine on). The breakfast that's included was delicious - we particularly enjoyed the warm cinnamon buns and mini cheese omelets. The staff working the breakfast bar - I believe her name was Marilyn - was friendly and wonderfully patient with our 5-year-old when he asked her many, MANY questions. If we need a hotel in this area again, we will 100% stay here again and will bring our swim gear to make use of the pool next time!

The hotel was extremely clean and modern. We were unable to get the in room safe to work. Unfortunately, maintenence staff is not available after 3:00 PM which is the earliest you are permitted to check in. That males no sense for new arrivals to not be able to get something fixed. Other than that, we recommend the hotel.

I've stayed at this Holiday Inn Express on several occasions and it is consistently clean, quite, and well maintained. The staff service is thoughful and friendly as well. As a frequent traveler, it is easy to take these qualities for granted. I'm grateful for the entire staff here.

9/5/25, arrived after dusk according the google map, saw the Holiday inn Marquee and entered the parking lot. Two bldgs on the lot, both were pitch dark. We cannot identify the hotel entrance because the hotel building has no light on, very difficult to notice… cannot believe that

Everyone wss so friendly and helpful. The only complaint would be how low the toilet was. Was a little difficult getting up and down after having hip surgery a couple of months ago.

Staff were exceptionally friendly. The room was very comfortable and looked clean. But this was the mustiest-smelling hotel room I've ever stayed at. Usually I adapt to smells- it will hit me when I walk in, but after a while I don't really smell it anymore. This time, however, I woke up multiple times in the night and the musty smell was prominent, almost overwhelming. It made me wonder about the safety of the air I was breathing. When I checked out, no one asked me about my stay, otherwise I would have mentioned it.

However, I encountered significant issues with the WiFi service. After running a speed test on my device, I discovered my connection was a frustratingly slow 2 Mbps, which barely permitted me to load a simple webpage. This lack of reliable internet was particularly inconvenient, especially if you must catch up on work or stream any media. The gym facilities were another area where my expectations fell short. The space was limited and lacked any weight training equipment—a disappointment for those looking to maintain a workout routine. Additionally, the treadmill was out of order, leaving only a few cardio options available. As for housekeeping, I was taken aback when they didn't attend to our room until 3 PM. This delay was inconvenient and not what I expected during my stay. While the hotel has some appealing features, those relying on speedy WiFi or a well-equipped gym may want to consider alternative options.

What can you say about Free? The breakfast and area was maintained beautifully. The hot food was prepared in medium quantity and replenished quickly in order to maintain freshness. I travel a lot and I would rate them as the top of the list in Edgewood for affordability and service.

We liked EVERYTHING and everyone from the staff to the other guests were so very friendly and welcoming. I can't say enough about the staff and the hotel. Great place to stay.

Our previous couple nights at different hotels resulted in terrible breakfast options on our trip. The food was great at this hotel and the staff member that was attending it went out of her way to make sure that we had everything that we needed. She was a welcome addition to our trip.

The GOOD: Reservations and check, in were without issue and went well. I thought the free breakfast was great. The room was very clean, comfortable and had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker all in good working order. THE BAD: The walls were thin, and my direct neighbors were loud, playing rap music with a heavy base vibrating the walls and singing at night and first thing in the morning. The heating system did not work at all and only blew cold air (I had to unplug it to make it stop brrrrrr). The remote control did not work unless you stood directly in front of the TV. I smelled and saw evidence of mold. I arrived after driving 8+ hours and was completely exhausted, otherwise I would have considered asking for a different room. Instead, I crashed hard, slept well considering but would not choose to stay here again.

Great location, but a little difficult to find because the building had no Holiday Inn sign on the building. The front desk clerk was very friendly and efficient. The room was squeaky clean and the bed was comfortable. The walls are not well insulated, as we could hear people talking in rooms next door. Price was competitive, so we would stay here again.

I’m a bit of a hotel snob, however, I love this hotel; I actually booked it for my return trip. My only critique is that the indoor pool is less than desirable. It is very small and the pool interior didn’t not look very clean. The pool area could use a facelift. On another note, the free breakfast was amazing! Better than Denny’s!

Room was very clean and staff was friendly. My only complaint would be upon arrival and our shampoo was empty so someone was stuck in the shower with no shampoo and our body was only had a tiny bit left so after two showers that was empty as well and we were trying to get the last little bit from the pump. When I asked for more shampoo they did address the issue right away.

This was the worst stay yet at Holiday Inn. Room heater was not working correctly. TV remote not working. Very few tissues in box. I had a 2 night stay. Had to change rooms 2nd day because of cold room. I slept in coat to stay warm. Had to get another TV remote. Refrig froz my soda. I stay at this hotel due to they have direct TV. I stay in this area once a month for family matters. There has always been some little inconvenient here at Holiday Inn but this stay was HORRIBLE . For what I pay for this room I would expect nicer service. I tried Hotels.com as Holiday Inn site gives no discounts. I see this site. Hotels.com does not offer any discounts either. No AARP, NO Senior. NO AAA. With nothing to offer why should I support your site.

Nice clean modern hotel close to food and shopping

I rarely stay at Holidayinn expresses, but this one was a 5 star. From the time we arrived and breakfast. The great customer service was appreciated traveling with 2 boys for the first time. Thanks guys at front desk for your kindness.
