    The bathtub in the bathroom also appeared to need some work, as the bottom was chipped. Additionally, the common areas were extremely hot during our stay. The morning staff was very friendly and greeted us when we came through. The night staff member was on his phone when we arrived, and I had to say something before being acknowledged. Once he put his phone away, he was polite and helpful.

    The hotel is undergoing serious renovations such that the hallway is littered with furniture pieces yet to be assembled. To their credit, the room accommodation was clean and comfortable. But they were out of caffeinated coffee, the creamer cups curdled in the decaf coffee, the breakfast was meager (no eggs), and the lobby looks disheveled. Give it 6 more months.

    We booked a king suite with a sofa bed. The sofa was completely missing from the room. We had staff walk into our room 3 different times at 9 in the morning. Quick knock and walked in the first time and same the other two times except we had the door jam on so they couldn’t get in. Renovations were happening so it was a little dirty/dusty but completely understandable.

    The entire interior amenities were under renovations. Nobody notified us. The staff gave my sons, a difficult time checking in, notwithstanding the fact that I called ahead of time to make arrangements. There was no hairdryer in the rooms. The breakfast was minimal. There was no toilet paper in the main floor bathroom. They didn’t have any toothbrushes at the front desk. They don’t clean the rooms after one night stay they only do it every three days. It was not a very good experience.

    Clean sheets, no bugs. I drove 3hrs to stay in Syracuse for a doctors appointment the next morning, i selected this hotel because of the reviews on Booking and because the price was pretty decent for the area. Im very disappointed that i listened to Booking instead of regular google! Do not listen to the booking reviews, back it up with google reviews! I was understanding that they were in the middle of renovation, so alittle speck of dry wall or dirt on the floor in the hallways and lobby was understandable, but once i got to my room.. that was a completely different story! It Was not clean. It looked like nobody stayed in that room for weeks and cleaners never cleaned after the last people left! There was still dirt & hair in the tub, dirty toilet seat, still trash in the fridge from the previous people. The tub didnt even drain! I had alot going on in my personal life, for 107$ this didnt need to add more to my plate. Will not come again! AGAIN, LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE! DO NOT ALWAYS LISTEN TO BOOKING REVIEWS, MAKE SURE TO BACK THEM UP WITH GOOGLE REVIEWS! (Booking claims a 4 star, google says its a 3 star with alot of bad reviews!!)

    The breakfast was rated as "great" on the hotels.com app but turned out to be lacking. The menu has no protein options of any kind and is full of cheap carbohydrates. This alone could have been the reason I would have booked a different hotel if I'd known ahead of time.

    Upon check in, the breakfast area was all covered, smell of paint, dust, very disappointed! We were told they were almost done but walking into that was awful. Gentleman who checked us in was friendly. No toilet paper holder, white shower curtain full of blue paint, no face plate on the light switch in bathroom...dust over headboards, a/c unit. Not happy whatsoever. My son said Never book this hotel again! He was so upset we didn't stay for breakfast, we went out for breakfast.

    Must be going thru a renovation my room had no cover on light switch in bathroom and smoke detector and sprinklers had blue tape covering them only stayed there for nursing school clinicals next time in September when I am required to return I will be staying elsewhere

    My stay was for 2 days without a working toilet, and no shower soap. A strobing ceiling bathroom light. I told 2 different people day and night clerk on both days without anything being done to rectify the problems. Never even offer to compensate me, but Told me instead to contact Expedia to deal with it, in so many words.

    Our room definitely wasn’t cleaned. There was hair stuck to the wall in the shower hair on the beds and fake nails left behind on the bathroom floor used. Our shower filled up while showering and the bathroom door would not shut. It was an overall not a great stay I wouldn’t stay again nor recommend. Staff was nice though. No problems there.

    A lot of pillows :D. Hangers that you can take of the rod. The room had just a little funky smell in the beginning and the windows didn't open, but at least the AC worked well and after a while you don't even realize it. The TV remote didn't work almost at all - the only buttons that worked were volume and program changing, not even the power button so you have to turn in on/off manually under the TV. Also the hand soap was empty but the staff quickly replaced it.

    The room itself was acceptable, with the main issue being that I found a small insect on the bedsheet of one of the two beds immediately after I entered the room. Finally, I had a negative experience with the hotel because I checked out only two hours after checking in, despite having booked the room for a couple of days. Although the hotel states that it may provide a partial refund for cancellations after check-in, I was charged for the entire stay, which I found quite unfair and disrespectful.

    This hotel was good for a stopover. There are not a lot of food options nearby but options within a few miles. The room with 2 queens was narrow with only a desk & chair besides the beds. The breakfast was limited (no eggs or breakfast meats) and not a fan of liquid coffee machines (vs fresh brewed).

    When we checked in our room it was decent, it didn’t smell fresh but it didn’t stink. We discovered the tv wasn’t working and when we called the front desk they stated they were aware and it would be fixed tomorrow. They offered no apology or accommodation. Our shower leaked the entire stay and the shower knob broke. They didn’t offer clean towels nor did they clean our room or offer to take the trash out and we were there 5 days and were a family of 4. I will NEVER stay here again nor would I recommend anyone. For what we paid $1381, we should’ve received much better service than that.

    The front desk person was great! We had to request a new room because the toilet in our room had dry urine drops and pubic hair it. Very gross. We were moved to a different room which was better. We can see that improvements are taking place. Parking was great.

    Room was well cleaned. Staff was friendly and quick to respond. Ample parking. Just some observations: The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable, but the layout made it difficult to hang cloths up and there were no hangers in the room (staff provided them upon request). It seemed the bathroom was recently remodeled but the bathtub needed reglazing. Overall everything lived up to expectations.

    Room was t cleaned well - used washcloth still hanging on shower rail, trash in the trash can. No soap, body wash or shampoo in the containers. Dishes box cover in bathroom, but no box of tissues in it. Hotel was shabby to say the least. Almost zero noise baffling between rooms. Doors don’t shut well so you constantly hear clanging as people try to get their doors closed. Very poor experience. Best thing I can say is that the front desk staff were cordial.

    This is the absolute worst hotel in which I’ve ever stayed. The common areas and the room are filthy. There was standing water in the tub, all of the bath products (body wash, conditioner, and shampoo) were completely empty, there was no bath mat and the electrical sockets were blocked by furniture. I even found a dirty pair of socks on the side of the bed which made me wonder if the room was even cleaned. What was made things worse is that the heater didn’t work and they never sent anyone to fix it or offered to move me - the room was freezing. In addition, the TV was broken. When I tried calling the front desk to comment on everything, the front desk agent placed me on hold and never returned to the call. I then went to the desk to speak with him and he was not only rude, but he was verbally abusive. All of this made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. I will never stay at this hotel or any of their affiliates.

    The hotel is under construction which is understand about we were most disappointed about the breakfast they advertised a hot breakfast but all they have is bagels, was told it was changing to a Hilton spark and all they offer is breakfast is bagels. That being said it was not refilled there was two bagels left and about 6 people trying to get breakfast. We will not stay again due to always looking for some kind of breakfast offered when looking for a hotel

    The building is under renovation and a mess. The rooms are okay. But the bathtub and bathroom are old and worn down. What was worst was on a Sunday morning at 7 a.m. you could hear the housekeeping staff talk outside in the hallway and slam doors. The sound carries inside the room as the doors and walls are paper thin. I will never stay there again.

    We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. It is under renovation and this was not on their listing. The first floor halls and elevators were dirty and where the renovations were taking place. The second floor was closed for renovations as well. Our room was nice however there were bare foot prints in the bathroom and black hair on the back of the toilet and the taps were not wiped down so makes me uncomfortable what else was not cleaned. We had to ask for an ice bucket. The tub had a large stain on the bottom. The bed was very nice and comfortable. We smelled cigarette smoke when we walked in the hotel. The breakfast was not good. There was nothing healthy to eat other than a few yogurts and applesauce. No eggs, etc. The staff were nice. The price we paid for this hotel being the way it is is ridiculous. We were very unhappy with our stay.

    Disliked: 1) Continental Breakfast meant no eggs, no bacon, no peanut butter. Other than waffles, which I don’t eat, everything was cold, bare minimal and carbs-heavy. 2) Visible signs of poor maintenance : strip on ground just before entering the lobby was not properly hammered down- a potential for tripping 3) bathroom door handle in the room: missing screw, twisted and not painted properly.

    We were able to get checked into the property seamlessly but I would save my money and go to Marriott or Hyatt. We had four individuals on our reservation and were only given one towel in our room. Even though the property is undoing renovations that is no excuse to neglect room cleanliness, which was a concern as well. The bathroom was visibly dirty, fixtures that were removed inside the shower had leftover scraps of metal holdings still on the wall that were rusted and could cut someone. The curtain tracks were stuck and very difficult to open. Overall, the experience was satisfactory if you need a place to stay for the night.

    The room was clean but bathtub had 5 hairs that weren’t mine and tub had a 2 foot by 6 inch wide peeled hole from lack of resurfacing. Sink had some spots on there that could have been cleaned. Breakfast was lacking juices, yogurt etc. Does not compare to other brand name hotels. They are working on renovations on 2nd floor but they waited too long to start because it was in bad condition. Staff was nice.

    The room overall looked clean but I found hair that didn’t belong to me on the pillows and the towel. The soap dish wasn’t cleaned and the shower didn’t drain properly (also some hair left in the basin). I also wasn’t given a trash can for my room. The blackout curtains wouldn’t slide all the way over so I had some trouble sleeping as well. Otherwise, the breakfast was good and the staff was kind.

    I didn’t realize the property was under full remodeling. Carpet seemed dirty and hallway had an unpleasant odor. Some rooms were being worked on and doors were opened, so we could see all the tools and paint cans, etc. Laundry room was full of bags with dirty linen. Unpleasant to look at. Outside of building has potential of appearing to be a nice hotel.

    The room cleanliness was less than stellar. The mattress was stained oretty bad, crumbs o. The carpet, lipstick on a hand towel and water pooling in the heater. Included breakfast was a waffle iron with waffle batter, yogurt, bread and bagels. Hardly anything decent to even make a good continental breakfast. Hotel is under construction with dust and debris all through the hallways and no access to the weight room. Lastly the snow that fell overnight was not shovelled in the morning leaving a slippery sidewalk and pathway to our car. Overall this hotel was less than stellar even for a one night stay.

    The room was fine except maybe hadn’t been used in a while. Where the artwork was supposed to be on the bed side wall had only remnants of tape and glue. Bathroom lights, only half of them worked. Bathroom toilet paper holder broken. Bathroom tub water dial wouldn’t stay at desired temp due to handle slipping. Fixtured loose in the wall. They are definitely due to renovate or st least gix this one room.

    3rd hotel in a row (within one month of travel) had the fitness center shut down due to maintenance. I mean how hard is it to mention that online and websites? I drive a truck and come to Syracuse every week and specifically chose a hotel with a fitness center. I will call ahead next time but again why is it not mentioned online? Also hotel is smoke-free yet smell of marijuana and noise from next door.

    The staff is horrible! Took forever to check-in, over thirty minutes and upon checking out this morning, there was no one at the front desk. The lady was talking to someone on her phone in the back, I had to go get her. This was at 4:30 AM. The sheets did not look fresh or as if they were changed at all. The bed looked fixed, that is all.     The rooms are plenty large and provide ample room to move around the king bed. The beds & pillows are always very comfortable. The bathrooms are sizeable and stocked with the basics. In all the rooms I have stayed in, the showers have all had excellent water pressure. The breakfast provided is better than your standard hotel muffin & coffee. Room temperature is regulated at the room AC/heating unit under the window and does a good job bringing the room to and keeping it at a desired temperature. Obviously, the side of the bed closest to the unit is cooler but not by a significantly noticeable amount. This night, however, I was disappointed because of the noise & vibration that permeated through my room. I have no clue what caused this noise & vibration but it was constant and existed all through the room. It was a constant din accompanied by a very slight room vibration. I have never experienced this prior to this night but it wasn't pleasurable. I'm not sure if it was something just this particular night or if it affects just a certain room(s). If it is a regular occurrence, the affected room(s) need to be discounted. It did not inhibit my sleep much since I sleep with ear buds. It was rather annoying while I was awake. The TV remote also did not function but I wasn't terribly disappointed in that and simply left a note for the cleaning staff.

    I booked via Expedia. Upon arrival the receptionist requested credit card for incidentals and then proceed to say her computer wasn’t working and needed to call her boss. She called her boss on her personal mobile and proceeded to verbally give my credit card over the phone. I was not sure if this was a scam or real life. So I left because I didn’t feel safe. I contacted Expedia, explained the situation, and asked for a refund. Expedia then told me that are currently working with the property. It was a surprise that Expedia is supporting a business that does not have basic credit card security compliance.

    I will always give a hotel a 1 star rating when they adjust the water. I moved my daughter in to college and after 12 hours I just wanted a hot shower. NOPE. I asked the front desk why the water is luke warm and she told me that is there biggest complaint. Expensive for what it is, dirty carpet, not so great breakfast buffet, and crappy air. Do not stay here.

    The front desk staff - Ashley was great. They are understaffed.     The lady who was on shift at the front desk on Sat., July 26 afternoon, was very disrespectful. I stopped at the desk to ask a question and she was on the mobile phone. She totally ignored me and continued her conversation. After 4-5 min. waiting I gave up and left. One hour later I passed by the front desk and she was again on her mobile phone. On Monday, July 28 while I was still having breakfast, the young lady who was attending the breakfast room started sweeping the floor. The rest of the personnel was fine and professional, but some of the personnel need training in order to work in the industry.

    From check in to check out the staff were always friendly and the manager (male) I met on the first night was so friendly and remembered me after a few days - asking how my son was doing. Breakfast was good the room was good the area surrounding the hotel from first glance may be a little worrisome, but after my stay I can say it’s very safe and secure.
