Was in a bit secluded area, which has its benefits. But not really walking many places.

Well kept suite, Well equipped: fridge,microwave, stove and dishwasher. Comfortable beds. Staff were professional and helpful. Breakfast was adequate. Plenty of parking spots. Suite was understocked, missing few things, which were provided by front desk upon request.

The room was great! No hot tub, pool was cold and the lady at breakfast wasnt too friendly. But nothing big.

Room was nice. Parking was great. Pets were allowed. Swimming pool and gym were nice also. Staff was exceptional! Emily was wonderful. I did not like the breakfast, the water pressure or the fact that we had a suite and the bathroom had to be accessed through the bedroom and not the sitting room. This was an inconvenience because we were traveling with a teenager. Otherwise, Great!!

Staff was great, breakfast on the weekend was excellent!! The breakfast menu was limited during the week. Unfortunately the pool has been out of order for weeks and we were not told this. The housekeeping was only available every other day and they didn’t bring towels, they had to be requested. The bed was also very hard & the pillows were awful. We ended up getting an air mattress & pillows from Walmart for sleeping.

Staff was great. Breakfast was ok. Pool was not open for safety reasons. The room had things in disrepair, like the dresser was broken, the front panel of the sink was broken, the hallway floors creak when walked on. You can hear EVERYTHING, there is no soundproofing. I could hear the people above us walking around their hotel suite, you can hear people walking in the hallways and talking (not yelling, just talking) and it made falling asleep hard for my kids.

They closed the pool due to all the athletes staying over the weekend but that’s why we booked this hotel. Very disappointing, I’ll stay someplace where we can swim next year.

When arrived found out pool was closed for the whole day. One of the beds had hair in the sheets. Asked for them to change sheets, never seen anyone waited around d over 20 mins. Bathroom had hair on door. Dresser in bedroom had food crums all in the drawers. You could everything that was going on in the halls to loud of a place. The elevator on 3rd floor one was not working I got in door shut and wouldn't move so I had to push all buttons to get off. I told the lady and she said her sign fell down she went to put sign up she hung it on wall. Took over 5 mins to get a elevator to get off the floor. Very icky place.

Had an issue at first but the manager went above and beyond to fix it.

Staff was excellent dealing with an issue with my 3rd party booking.

Pool was closed and drained. No notice before we arrived (with 4 young kids) staff nocked on our door at 8:30PM complaining about noise then the room next door was loud and sounded like they were jumping around until 2AM and no one addressed that . Very poor experience overall

Staff was great room was horrible. Bugs on wall and ceiling lights, hair that wasnt ours, spit balls in ceiling.

The 2 ladies running the morning breakfast were more interested in watching TV and playing on there phones the cleaning tables had food on them

I will never stay here again. I requested early check-in because I knew I would be getting in early so it was on my reservations. When I got to the hotel around noon, I had to wait because the front desk lady was having a personal conversation with a guy that was already checked in. So then once it was my turn, she told me that there were no rooms available because they were sold out the night before and most people are just checking out at noon. Then she tells me that check in is at 3pm and that I can go over in the dining area and wait for 3 hours like are you serious. I leave and come back at around 2:45 p.m. to watch a white couple in front of me check-in, get a room, but again when it's my turn, she says to me, the cleaning staff are still working on the rooms and doing their inspections and again tells me that check-in is at 3pm and I can go wait in the dining area while she calls to see if they are done. I was beside myself and couldn't believe I was being treated this way. It was around 315pm when I finally checked in for my room. The room was pretty average and there was a nice fan in there but didn't work. Also in the bathroom, most nicer chain hotel offer shampoo, conditioner and body wash but of course my room didn't have all three. It was just one more thing that was not pleasant of an experience for me. I won't be staying here again for sure.

No cleaning at all .

The furniture was old, toilet bowl was cracked, and tge bathroom sink was leaking! Overall poor management.

The room is clean, and Melissa at the desk is very helpful makes the check-in smooth. The only complain I have is I find out the day of check-in that the pool is not operating. The kids and my husband are so disappointed!

I liked the kitchenette in the hotel room. I had to do an IVF cycle where I flew in from out of state. It was perfect for refrigerating my medications. The hotel nearby has a restaurant and bar that you can walk to if you don’t have a vehicle or feel like going far to dine-in for food. Also, the complementary waters and fruit was nice to have by the front desk.

Unfortunately, the room had numerous maintenance and functional issues that detracted from a positive experience.

It was very clean and nice. There are several amenities here that we didnt even use that most hotels do not offer. The property was well maintained.

Enjoyed the friendly staff and the location was close to everything that I needed. Overall this hotel made me feel right at home.

A lot of construction going on during my stay.

We got a phone call the morning of our first Night stay to tell us our Room was not available anymore for our stay. So instead of having a suites for a family of 6 with a full kitchen, we were offered two non-connected bedroom with 1 bed each. For 6 persons, we had to Buy inflatable matresses to fit us all. Those two rooms were even more expensive than what we should have paid for less. We had to split our family over two bedrooms and had no kitchen for cooking. Never again we will book either at this hotel nor with Expedia.

Hotel is under reservation and did not tell us until we were checking in. The whole hotel reaked of chemicals. The night front desk person was rude. We had to go to hotel next door to use the pool, was limited to 30 minutes but another family that was in there way longer than 30 minutes was never told to leave.

The hotel was very nice inside, as it's been recently renovated. I also very much appreciated the GrubHub coupon we received as guests. The disappointing part was that the heater on the pool was broken so it was not usable, and I was traveling with my two young children and had specifically chosen that hotel for the pool.

Gym closed, pool closed, none of the complimentary beverages or snacks available.

Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was not accessible in the hotel, we had to go outside to reach it, then it was dirty and freezing. No conditioner in the shower, housekeeping was still in the room when we were checked in so we got to sit in the lobby and wait. Overall a fine experience just a lot of inconveniences.

We had a great time & the hotel was very nice. I wish there was dish soap and paper towels in the kitchen.

Our main door to our room would not latch closed and could be opened with a stiff push (security issue), breakfast staff was so behind we didn’t get anything to eat because there were so many people they couldn’t keep up, even with just coffee, room was in disrepair and dirty, spoke with front desk staff at checkout (only time we saw staff at the desk) about the issues and was told we would receive compensation or points for our inconvenience and nothing ever came of it

The breakfast and room

The pool had what I can only call a “skim layer” on it. From desk said it was a busy weekend and lots of kids not showering before entering causes it. We had a 12 checkout but as we were changing in our room at 10:45 housekeeping unlocked the door without knocking and came in. We called out and they excused them selfs and back out. Front desk said, sorry but no explanation on why they just walked in to our room. Not a great stay at all. The attendant at check in was pleasant. The apples at breakfast on our last day were wrapped in plastic wrap. I grab one to take to our room, unwrapped it and it was rotten. Stayed in Syracuse many times, first time at this hotel but left with a very bad experience, didn’t get to go into the pool.

Our room was very spacious and more than enough room for the three of us. The hotel was nice and the breakfasts were great. However, one of the main reasons I chose this location was for the pool. My 4 year old loves to swim so we wanted to swim everyday of our three day stay. Unfortunately the pool was FREEZING. We attempted to swim one day and my daughters teeth started to chatter. When I spoke to the front desk they advised that the pool was 80 degrees, which was clearly false. They was a tarp over the ceiling in the pool which suggested to me that the dehumidification unit was broken, likely the reason the water was cold. When I brought this up with Melissa she brushed me off. I wasn't pleased with her reaction to the situation, basically suggesting I was off my rocker. I let it go but if you are planning on using the pool here make sure to check with them that they have fixed all their issues.

We only stayed for one night to attend a wedding nearby and it was lovely. The staff was friendly and the whole property looked wonderful. My husband and I both agreed we would stay there again.

The carpet in the room was filthy and a dirty towel was left in the bathroom by the housekeeping staff. Very disappointing.

Couch had a smell. Toilet paper holder was broke on one side. Floor behind bathroom door was dirty. Something dried on wall in bathroom. Overall was ok but definitely needs an update and cleaned better. View out the window was a roof with weeds

A great room overall. Had a good stay. But the bed was far to firm, woke up with a sore back. Also, the tile flooring was sticky, not sure if it was from the cleaner.

We had a quick overnight stay here with our 3 mo old and dog. The staff was helpful when we couldn’t find our confirmation number and made sure we had a room. The hotel was very updated and clean :)

If you are looking for great space this is the place but... it was not very clean. The rug is sticky its so dirty, i couldn't put my baby on the floor to crawl, it was a gross carpet. The couches and chairs were smelly and sticky from being dirty, they have stains. The sheets on the beds are not warm or comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely terrible. The first morning the breakfast was the worst. If i have to travel to Syracuse again i would not stay here.

The bathroom door and furniture was chewed up from a dog. It was extremely dirty, the shower was old and rusty. Front desk service was great! Update your rooms Homewood Suites!

Excelent service , nice and big rooms. We stayed in a suite with kitchen and everything was great. Breakfast is awesome. The only issue is that the pool water was cold and me and my family were expecting to spent a good time at the pool and we couldn't.

The staff is friendly and helpful. My son’s foot got scribbled by the edge of the ladder in the pool. The staff provided first aid bandages and antibiotics wipes. Also one ice cream for my son. I felt supported even though my son couldn’t swim for a week:)

One night stay en route to our destination. Excellent. Comfortable beds, good breakfast selection, great wifi connection. New construction so no old musty smells and no updates needed (as with so many other hotels). Beautiful landscaping with park and pond across the street.

Extremely nice property. We were in town for a Syracuse Law School graduation and they did a great job congratulating the graduates, complete with a photo area. Great breakfast, excellent room accommodations. I highly recommend this hotel.

Property was clean and modern. Pillows could use replacing. They were very flat. We did have a loud group next to our room the first night but that’s not the hotel’s fault. We asked them to quiet down and they did. Breakfast was good. Pool was nice.

Out of all the hotels I have stayed at this is by far my favorite hotel to book and stay at. Staff is always so friendly, property is always so clean and neat. Makes me feel so comfortable!

I appreciate the follow up on our stay. However, I’d like to bring forth few suggestions based on our experience: 1. It was hard to relax and rest while the Guest (with children) above our suite made heavy and loud foot noises throughout our stay. Hoping that management will address to keep families with children on the lower level instead on the upper level. 2. A real inconvenience with housekeeping not having a proper time window on the schedule day. We had to explicitly remind the front desk to have it done is dissatisfying. Thank you, Harsha

The pool water was murky and dirty, I could see hair floating in the water. The WiFi would not connect and when I called down to the front desk the man I spoke with could’ve cared less. When you have a child with extra needs having WiFi is crucial. Also, the beds are incredibly uncomfortable.

Room was functional and plenty of space. The full sized fridge was a bonus! However the bathroom space was very small

Was expecting a little nicer for the price. Only one dining chair and the table was very flimsy, stains on arm chair in living space. Temperature situation was weird, alternating between heat and AC. Breakfast was disappointing- rubbery dry sausage & omelettes, no milk for cereal etc. The rooms are large and was nice for a little spring break pool fun for the kids.

ALL WAS GREAT
