Courtyard Syracuse Carrier Circle

We stayed in one of the recently renovated rooms on the 3rd floor and noticed very little disruption with the renovations continuing downstairs.

It was very clean and staff very nice. Bed and pillows were very comfortable.

But the hotel is under construction renovation. Construction was noisy until five when they quit and they did not work as far as I know on Saturday thank God because it wasn’t relaxing. I had two hours in between my shift and I needed to get a quick nap which was impossible. The restaurant staff was excellent, but I think it’s time to update your menu. You need more snack snacks that could be eaten in the evening and I think we could update that menu. It’s been around for a long time. I was shocked that the outdoor area the fire pit was not lit and that the pillows were ripped. This could’ve been corrected easily, and I was surprised that it hadn’t been. I would go back after the construction, especially if you made these suggestions, but considering the state that the hotel itself was in the price was way over what it should’ve been.

Our room smelled like a wet ashtray. I pulled the filter from the in-wall air conditioner and it is obvious that they didn't do even a replacement of that to try to mitigate the odor. This place was not cheap either. Just the stench was cheap. The staff was nice & apologetic but they were sold out on ADA rooms so nothing she could do. I will take my business elsewhere in the future.

They charge for full sta my upon check-in never seen that before. Then continue to charge you per night after you pay full stay and the $100 deposit. Front desk is was not helpful no manager on site to assist. Per front desk they cannot assist with check-out / refunds without a manager on site how convenient. Their breakfast isn’t even a breakfast just waffles , muffins and stale bagels and bread. Room had no ac , bugs on bed , bathroom was unclean , and the hotel per cleaning staff is under construction and may guests have had the sam complaints. How convenient that none of this is told prior to check-in and staff is so friendly but once you have an issue magically no one can help but a manager !!! complete rip off !!!

Booked a king suite. However, the toilet didn't flush and there was dirt in the bathroom sink, so we had to change rooms. The setting is very close to a freeway and there is construction on one side. The staff were helpful in getting us another room where the toilet worked, but it was not a suite.

Toilet leaked and tub wouldn’t drain . The couple in the other room next to us was loud so we asked to be moved after they were told twice to quiet down . Bed was comfortable and room was very clean . Great location . Staff was very friendly.

The did seem to care about you. Rooms were not clean

We were downgraded to a different room than what we paid for because they overbooked. Instead of 2 queen beds we had one king and a small twin sized pullout cot. The manager lady the first night was pretty rude. Room was clean. One worker, Raven, was the saving grace. One of the nicest hotel workers I’ve ever seen.

Unexpected fee to pay

For a disabled person, this is extremely important. The front desk person had no one she could call in. The parking lot was filled with tons of storages containers and miscellaneous building supplies taking up the majority of the entire east side of the parking lot and almost all of the handicapped parking. Even though part of the driveway was plowed, the EV charging area was not, so I could not plug in overnight. At the end of a dead end road. Not a great location.

Registration staff persons were very courteous. I find it strange that there wasn't a courtyard facing room available however since there were few cars in the parking lot. The room was clean; however, the cold water faucet was not working in the sink area. Since it was late in the evening when we checked in, we just worked around it.

Free breakfast initially wasnt free but they were too busy to figure it out and comped the breakfast. Front desk staff was running the restaurant and long line just to get coffee. I have stayed in lesser quality hotels at lower cost with better provided amenities. Marriott is a quality hotel chain but missed the mark at this location. It was obviously understaffed and the customers suffered for it.

Close to interstate. Comfy beds, personal assist with wifi sign in. Walk to Ruby Tuesday, only place nearby. Looks recently decorated.

Elevator was not working front desk told me to use stairs while it resets. I had cancer and back surgery I can't carry a 47 pound suitcase to 3rd floor. I asked for a room change to 1 st floor from other front desk clerk which she gave me.

Uncomfortable pillows for 1 of our party of 3, and toilet wasn't cleaned, but otherwise our stay was fine.

The place was nice it was clean. I asked them to bring new towels and emptied the trash. They didn’t do it. I had to call back. They had no coffee or hot water available. It was a bother was open two hours a day.

This is my 2nd time staying here while visiting family in the area. The hotel was quiet and the staff were friendly when I arrived. The room was clean and comfortable. Ill probably always book here when coming to Syracuse.

Well we mainly went with this hotel because a hot tub and indoor pool was advertised however we we arrived and went to go use the pool area we were not able to get in and we're given conflicting responses as to why the pool area wasn't accessible. So pretty bummed about that as we really hoped to use those amenities.

When we got to our room it had a heavy room freshener scent. The Shower water pressure was pretty low and bathroom had no fan to clear steam. The price of this hotel you would think it would come with breakfast. Not overly thrilled with this Hotel, will not book here again.

Definitely will stay here again when we visit our son in college. So clean from the lobby, eating area, room was so pleasant, not one bad odor. First hotel I can say didn’t smell!!! That was a bonus for us :)

My stay was fine. The problembat this hotel is that the bar was not a full bar. I spent 28.00 on two drinks that wasn't worth it. I asked for a Old Fashion and was given the drink with a different product. When asked if it was made with what was on the menu i was told no. That should have never happened. They were out of 90% of everything.

Our first time at this hotel for our daughter’s band competition, the representative at the concierge desk was very welcoming and check in was quick and easy. Room was clean and we like the smart tv amenity as well. The room was also cozy and clean. I hope to stay here again next year for the next competition.

Staff for check in was excellent. Walls in room a little thin as I could hear the person in the room next to us coughing all night. Even though we had a balcony there were no chairs on it so we couldn’t enjoy our morning coffee on it….we looked onto other balconies which had outdoor furniture so maybe just an oversight?

We arrived out of state for a funeral and our room was not ready at 3:30 when check in is at 3 and they had no idea how much longer it would take. The viewing was at 4 so we had to book a different room in order to freshen up and change for the viewing. The pool has green water in it and wasn't useable although it was open. The elevator was not working on our side of the building even after we found it bc there was no direction at check in as to what elevator to use. No continental breakfast and we paid $10 for two cups of coffee. Absolutely horrible stay. Never again will I use this hotel.

Every member of the staff that I encountered, from the adorably, sweet girl at check-in, to the super friendly housekeepers, to the people manning the breakfast counter were attentive and polite. Location was perfect, about a ten minute drive from SU, would absolutely stay again.

I arrived at about 2am, weary from travel. When I got to my room, I noticed someone had left a surprise in toilet from me and the seat of the toilet was dirty as well. The bed looked disturbed but still made. I spoke with the staff and they were extremely helpful, offering to move me and also refund the money, but I had unfortunately booked through Hotels.com. I decided to stick it out rather than move because I was too tired to mess with it at 2:30 in the morning.

The room was spacious and clean, but the shower would not drain and the controls on the air conditioner did not work. When i forming the desk, the reply was there was no one who could fix it thete. She did offer us a different room, but by this time we had all of our stuff oit and did not want to pack everything up.

Property only had one washer and dryer for the entire complex and it was on one wing of the hotel. Super inconvenient that I had to cross the pool to get there, only to find out access to cross the pool is cut off after 10 pm. So you had to walk a country mile through the lobby to get to the laundry or cross through the back parking lot at night at the back of the hotel that is not well lit and I can hear animals in the wooded areas in back scurrying about.

Tha staff were great! They were all friendly and helpful and really went over and above. And unlike many similar properties they were well staffed and could help more than one guest at a time. The property was updated, clean and well maintained . Breakfast was good, made to order, but a bit pricey. The location was in an industrial park area with other hotels, but not much else was nearby. Overall a very pleasant stay.
