For the price it was exactly what we expected and needed just for the night. There was however a very strong, musty, odd smell in the room and on the bedding that was difficult to ignore.

Right off I75, very convenient and price fair There was nothing I could honestly say I didn't like. I wouldn't stay longer than a night.

There was mildew around the tub & it smelled like smoke.

My room smelled like smoke and the sheets looked very stained. I had some concerns about the effectiveness of the door. There was a huge gap along the frame and the security bolt latch didn’t look like it would work if needed. The exterior of the building looked very rough and the interior was dated. The lady at the front desk was very nice.

Just stayed for the night, only needed a bed to sleep in and it satisfied what we needed

I stayed two different nights at the Econo Lodge East Ridge and was pleased with both experiences. The room was clean and an excellent value. The variety of TV channels was excellent -- the best of my whole trip. The hotel is not easy to locate, as it is situated behind other hotel properties.

I had reached out to the office before arriving asking for a first floor room. We were told it was confirmed . Upon arrival we were placed on the second floor. Nothing was available on the first :-(

The air worked fine. Didn't use the pool. The room was clean and adequate for the price for a place just to sleep. Coffe was nasty on the room and lobby. No frills place.

The outlets on the bedside tables did not work. Had to charge my phone using the bathroom outlet.

Price, staff, and location were great. Bed was pretty worn out with stains on sheets. And breakfast was not available.

Cleanish my kids and husband weren't thrilled but I didn't think it was terrible. Beds weren't very comfortable and neither were the pillows but it is an econo lodge. Lady who checked me in was very kind! Air conditioning worked.

The bedding was not washed

The staff was great. But the place is super outdated, the toilet paper was broke, the tv was broke, the hair dryer was broke, the bedding looked dirty. We literally swung by for a 6 hour nap, if that's all you're doing go for it. The staff was great, and I didn't notice any sketchy people there. The room was mostly clean, but really the tv and sheets were a little much to be busted.

Everything was cool I needed the blanket I asked for a blanket that brought it when I checked in the young lady was very professional it was quiet but when I checked out the guy tried to tell me I damaged a towel that was dirty LOL but besides that it was a good day I will be back

It was a decent place to stay overnight for 60 bucks. The room was clean and it was a safe area.

Room was nice and tidy. Staff was friendly and inviting. There is coffee and juice in the common area, which was greatly appreciated! Linens were clean and smelled fresh. Great location, as well. Overall, a great stay especially for the price. I felt safe and welcomed. Would recommend!

Really enjoy our stay here , everything was clean and in order and it was super quick to get check in . The area was peaceful and quiet and very easy to get too. Definitely recommend staying here and will be back !!

For the price I paid the room was okay. Surprised to find a microwave and the normal small refrigerator. Bed was comfortable but the pillows weren't. The upholstered chair in the room was worn and the bathroom door needs to be replaced.

Staff was very friendly and reached out before my stay. Room was very clean for an older building.

Room was spotless, bed was comfortable, tv had a great selection of channels and we had plenty of towels!

The blankets and sheets had multiple cigarette burns

Neutral - The TV in our room did not work, I did not report it as I was really only there to sleep. Little to no staff visible during our stay Negative- The area itself seemed unsafe as individuals were walking to the edge of the parkinglot, into the trees to do drugs. Very loud as it is next to the highway.

Parking is convinient. Check in was easy quick and the staff friendly! Theres a few improvements the room needs but we have enjoyed our stay.

Room was dirty and smelled like smoke, despite being a non-smoking room. The short time we spent in the room led to asthma flare-ups. Furniture was worn and falling apart. The walls themselves were dirty. Mold growing on the tub. Little tree hanging from the sink pipes in an attempt to mask the smell. Electrical boxes and wiring were not up to code per my partner who works with electrical. Poor lighting not in working condition. Despite being around other nicer hotels, definitely did not feel safe. Only good thing we can say about the hotel is how prompt they were on the refund.

Had to wait at the lobby as no one was around. Room condition is ok except the dark lightening and bedding is terrible.

But the tv kept freezing while watching and the manager suggested we had to move the tv and therefore the wire connection to get the tv back to working.

The staff at the desk was extremely pleasant. The room is in decent condition. The location is convenient. However, the WIFI signal is very weak and can only be found in certain spots in the room. But for single night stays, it's adequate.

The rooms need to be up to par on cleanliness and vents in air conditioning were filthy. I had to clean my own ! And also the first initial room we were checked into was filthy. And we were checked into a room. The room was somewhat better, but my fiancé still had to clean the vents in that room and the bathroom and the floors in the room. The day before we had made a reservation and was unaware of a deposit so we had I had to cancel. They did not refund the money nor did they do anything in regards to the dirty rooms we were checked into.

I have no complaints about my stay, the property is a little worn. But, the bed was comfy, the air was cold and the water was hot! The staff was polite and helpful and the property was quiet.

There are holes in the wall. Cracked tiles. The shower is not connected to the wall. I’ve been using hotels a lot here lately and this one is trash. I will never come back. It was a waste of money and I barely paid anything to stay.

The Econo Lodge East Ridge was a great value in a good location next to other more expensive hotels. The desk agents were friendly and helpful and the room had everything I needed. The floor was a little dirty on our first day but the cleaned it on request for our second day.

And, there were no anti slip mats in the tub/shower I which made tub very slippery and only one small bar of soap for two adults. Also, no vending machines for snacks.

When I arrived they were homeless people in the parking lot and they were yelling and screaming I went and told the guy at the front desk and he said he would take care of it I told him I had to move to another room I didn’t feel safe they were knocking on peoples door and saying oh my God and whoever was in the room would not answer I could hear them yelling in the parking lot some woman I would never stay here again

It had great reviews, honestly don't know why, rooms smelled like humidity and cigarette. The area looked shady, but for a night's sleep it's ok

The bathroom and sink area were not properly cleaned. There were shaving hairs left in the sink from a previous guest, and the soap holder was dirty. The bathroom door was also noticeably stained, which gave an unpleasant impression. Another issue was the air conditioner – it was very loud, making it difficult to sleep peacefully during the night. That being said, Mr. Kevin at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind during check-in. His professionalism was the highlight of my stay. Unfortunately, due to the cleanliness and noise issues, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Everything was great but.... We called to ask if we could check in late. They said that was fine. Checked in at 1130pm after a long day driving. Got to the room and it was easily over 100 degrees. The AC was not on, not even the fan. It took hours to finally cool down enough to sleep, but has to be up at 6am to travel, so didn't sleep much.

When I got there to check into my room they said there would be a $60 deposit that everybody around here does that and after staying in other hotels around the area in the past I have never encountered a deposit in addition to the room cost I told them no I only want the room and never saw it deposit hit my bank a little shady

There an odor when entering the room. It did clear up after having the air conditioning on for a while. Other wise, the room was fine for a quick overnight.

Property was generally clean and quiet and staff was nice and friendly. Disappointed that they didn’t have breakfast, I thought that was maybe listed in the amenities (i don't remember) but they do serve coffee and juice. Overall I would stay there again.

The rooms were clean but the beds were hard and by morning you'd be stiff and hurting. If they had more comfortable mattresses it would be alot better. Price was reasonable, service desk clerk was friendly and nice.

We went back to Kevin and told him about the room, and he offered us a different room. We went to that room and it was slightly cleaner, but upon pulling the bed comforter up, we discovered a large black spot on the bed sheet. Not sure what it was . There were other stains on the sheet as well. We went back to Kevin and advised him we wouldn’t be staying and we asked for a refund. Kevin was very understanding and made arrangements for our refund. This was one of the worst hotels I have ever encountered. Obviously would not recommend this place to anyone. Thanks Kevin for being so understanding.

I locked myself out over a holiday weekend late at night. Needed to call a locksmith but needed to wait till morning. The manager was fantastic, and I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and the make up of the room. Pet, taxes and all was 100. I would definitely stay here again and suggest for other short stay visitors.

It's average low grade hotel

Check in was fast and easy. Id stay here again though the room has a bit of street noise. Parking is right next to the room. Carpet has been replaced by LVT flooring which seems more hygienic. Decor is fine but the chair wss pretty worn. Room is big enough for a table which was lacking. Has a mini fridge and microwave. Good price.

Kevin at the front office was amazing. So friendly and remembers things talked about. We were staying bc of a softball tournament, he asked several times about gametimes and nmhow the girls were doing. Room kind of smelled of stale cigarette smoke but over all good 1 or 2 night stay hotel. Very convenient to area attractions and restaurants.

Solo female traveler in her 30s and it was relatively clean and definitely safe for the price. You will hear the highway but that is to be expected. Front staff was very nice and welcoming. For a night stay on a roadtrip, it was perfect.

The front desk was pleasant and welcoming. We simply needed to have a one night stay and it was great for that. Clean and safe. It is close to the interstate so you get traffic noise. Be sure to have outlet chargers with you as they have not upgraded to USB outlets. We will stay again.

Great place for the price. Clean. Easy on and off freeway. Our family stayed for a night on our way home from Florida to Michigan. We felt safe.

The gentleman that completed our check in was very friendly. I was disappointed when our rooms definitely had been smoked in, especially since it was advertised as a non smoking hotel and you had to sign off that you would not smoke. The sheets were clean, but the rest of the room left a lot to be desired. The rooms are “updated”, but definitely need a more thorough cleaning. For sure a case of “you get what you pay for”.

We requested a first floor room due to medical issues and the message came back we would get a first floor room, at check in they had no knowledge of that and had no rooms available on the ground floor.

It was perfect for an inexpensive night's sleep!

Not sure how or why guests rated this place at 8.0. Though the front desk manager was very nice, it does compensate for the dirtiness of the place. Room smelled like cigarettes. Found hairs on my bed. They gave it a paint job to shine it up, but the place needs a gut rehab. I guess you get what you paid for ($60 for the night). However, 8.0 guest rating?? No way!!

We were looking for something convenient to I 75, that was safe, clean, and close to EV charging. This property more than fit the Bill. It is a traditional, basic motor lodge. Two stories with stairs to the second story. Doors on the outside. Beds were comfortable. The pillows were more than adequate. The bathroom/vanity area is as you would expect. The television worked fine. The hot coffee in the lobby was a nice touch. For the price and the service, this place is phenomenal.

My stay was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was clean but the thin blanket is a little too thin and also had a hole in it. I would stay here again.

Room was spacious, king size bed, could be a little softer, but was still good. Decorated nicely. New wood floor. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee, great water pressure in shower, quiet. Just passing through so didn't need a pool or anything fancy. Would stay again. Friendly guy checked us in . Overall a good experience
