Room was clean and staff treated us well. The only issue was that the ceiling had a big bubble of water so it was leaking water.

Not clean. Pulled out sofa bed to use and found baby toys and wipes from previous guests. Staff refused to bring anything to room, would tell us we needed to come down and get whatever it was we called room service for. Toilet needed to be flushed 2 times, sometimes 3 just to flush toilet paper. It just shreds it to pieces and doesn’t go down. Needed baby crib like advertised and didn’t have any for use. Not happy!

The location and super close proximity to airport was very nice. Room was clean. Unfortunately air conditioning in room was not blowing cold, air conditioned air, only room temp “fan blown” air.

Parking was terrible. There was limited spots compared to the amount of rooms. Many nights we couldn’t park at the hotel. Shower and ac didn’t work the first night but staff immediately gave us a new room.

The room was very clean, and quiet. Staff was friendly. Only downfall was out ice machine was broken on our floor. The manager was quick to take care of us though.

The only issue we experienced was with the availability of towels and washcloths. We had three guests in our room (originally booked for four), but were only provided three towels and two washcloths on the first night. When we requested additional linens, we were told none were available. The following morning, we asked again and received one additional washcloth, but the shortage continued the next evening as well. While this wasn’t a major issue, having an adequate supply of basic toiletries and linens for registered guests would have made the stay much more comfortable. Other than that, the hotel met our expectations, and the location and value were definitely positives.

It was a very nice, clean, and spacious room. Enjoyed my stay. I was surprised how nice it was compared to hotels I usually stay at in downtown Atlanta. We had to leave very early the next morning but breakfast was already available early which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was excellent as well.

The hotel had some renovation going on outside but did not cause any problems. Our room was very nice - only complaint is that the lighting is TOO dim. No place to relax and read a book. We were not able to try out breakfast as we had to catch an early shuttle - which was very convenient! The hotel does have a bar which we did stop at the night we checked in. Emerald was the desk clerk and bartender. What a sweetheart! It had been a really long day and she was bright and cheerful and helpful.

Where was a big cockroach in our bathroom. The property was not kept up the room. Had a funny smell. We didn’t see the cockroach till the next morning. My husband didn’t even tell me until we checked out. If we had known, the properly was gonna be in this condition. We would’ve never stayed. Do not stay at this property.

This is not the place you want if you are exhausted and need to stay by the airport. They sell alcohol heavily there and people are wandering, loud, shouting all night long. Walls are thin, door must be thin. Check in staff had me lugging my bags out to the rent car twice, getting info off it, leaving a dangler in it. The room smelled old and the furniture looked old and worn out. This is not a repeat stay for me.

Very friendly staff even late evening. Room perfectly adequate and spacious. Instructions sent via booking.com were very poor/ incorrect: i was sent instructions to find hotel shuttle at zone 2, but that was only for the south - not north - hotel. After waiting at (correct) zone 3 stop for over 1 hour, I called the hotel which told me their shuttle is only marked Hilton Double Tree …. Who could guess that? Also, there was no hot water in shower … I guess they would have fixed but since I arrived at almost midnight and left again at 6am there was no time.

I originally booked a room with two beds, but since none were available, the hotel provided an additional room for my guest. That was such a thoughtful gesture from the management. The receptionist was pleasant and took her time walking me through the check‑in process, breakfast details, Wi‑Fi instructions, and shuttle service. Overall, our brief stay was pleasant and comfortable.

I was caught up in the Snowmeggeddon of the East coast in February. Stuck in ATL after midnight. Called the hotel to find out where the shuttle bus was located. They said. “We’re sold out. I don’t think you have a room here.” Chatted Travelocity, and they confirmed I have a room. Arrived at the hotel. No room. Literally, every rooom had a person or people in it. Took an hour on the chat, back and forth about how I was on the property, and they did not physically have a room. I’m eating a $200 room that I did not sleep in. Travelocity confirmed with “the property” that they had a room. Severely disappointed after a frustrating weather day of travel. App being deleted as soon as I finish this post. Highly recommend travelers download the big hotel apps and avoid the third party nightmare of refund. Had I worked directly with Hyatt (of which I am a member of their rewards program), they would have rectified the situation immediately. Shopper beware. They could have kept me on their payroll, but got greedy. See ya!

The front ( Ajada and Daija) were exceptionally helpful and nice! Really made a difference in my stay and helping me nagivate traveling with kids. The breakfast sausage and food was salty and poor quality for Hyatt in my opinion. And paint was used to cover up mold or mildew in the bath.

One the first night at this property, I was awoken at 3am in the morning by water dripping on the bed. I called down to the front desk and advised them of the matter. My room was changed the next day. However, I believe it would have been appropriate for the room rate to be reduced.

The staff was all so helpful and friendly! Although there was construction there were signs that made you aware. There were also notices about the winter storm, so that was very helpful! The room was clean and comfortable, exactly like the picture shown. I would definitely recommend my friends and family here.

Desk person obviously new: double charged for incidental fees. Senior person showed her how to correct it. As of today corrected balance is not fixed and I’m still showing a double charge. Left too early to have breakfast. Check-in process. Front desk undermanned with one single person who was excellent. She was very personable, helpful and friendly even under pressure. Phone ringing off the hook and she had a long line of people waiting to be processed.

The breakfast was good and the staff serving breakfast were excellent. Parking was terrible since there was some kind of party activity taking place. Check in procedure didn't seem professional since there was no check in counter but someone standing at a make shift desk.

We only went to sleep there since we had to travel so early in the morning. To be honest with you, the only thing I was excited over was the shampoo and conditioner for the shower. That was amazing. The location was under construction. I was not expecting a Hyatt to be in this condition at that rate. I could have gone to other locations and spent less money but I wanted the Hyatt experience and guarantee. So it took me for a surprise. I also requested a hotel with a restaurant and my order took over an hour to arrive because it was not on site. It was a delivery from an outside restaurant. That was disappointing as well.

Location and proximity to places I need to get to. Right off the highway. The condition of the hotel. The feeling like anyone could walk in, because the side doors were left propped open due to the front entrance being cordoned off due to repairs needed. Because of the blockage in area and only a select amount of parking space on that side of the front, we had to drive around the block to get in through another entrance. At that side of the property, the gate continually stayed open hanging by an odd angle because it was never repaired after possibly getting ran into!!! Arriving late at night it was inconvenient that we had to make several trips with our bags through a side door to the front area to check in and then proceed to elevator(when normally if we entered at the proper entrance the elevator is right behind check in. Was there for almost 4 days and never saw any repairs being completed to whatever damage was on the front entrance over-hang.

Even though I turned the heater off, it would kick on evry 30 minutes or so. Problem is, it was extremely loud and would wake me up all night long. Got no sleep at all!!!

My stay was fine.The staff for the most part was friendly.They had a lot of construction going on.And that was fine.You found out when you got there. i did have an issue.I got home very late or rather to the hotel and I intended to take a shower.This was around two a m when I chose the hot setting.The shower made a tremendous loud noise and vibration and the water would not get hot at all.I forfeited a hot shower because of the time.And that, I was already unpacked and had my stuff and my belongings out.So that was disappointing.

Initially I got a room that smelled like cigarettes. I was given another one and it made up for it. I would book here again.

It isn’t the hotel’s fault that the area doesn’t feel safe to walk around, but that is preventing a 5-star rating. The pillows are terribly uncomfortable as well. Other than that, the staff were friendly and the stay served its purpose.

it was just straight up dirty. you can stay else where that’s very nice for the same price honestly. free parking was the best part. our blanket on the bed looked moldy honestly, the bathroom ceiling was moldy and the vent was also moldy and nasty. while trying to sleep it was very noisy around us. overall 1/5 stars.

This property is not what a Hyatt should look like

It was a nice experience compare to others 3 stars hotel. Only downsize was the windows are not soundproofing and at night we heard the traffic running and the cars honking that woke us up, in addition there is not body lotion and for me personally would be a plus to have all the toiletries, on the other hand the staff was very attentive and courageous. The hotel has a complementary breakfast with very good options hot/cold and healthy. The shuttle airport runs every half hour starting at 4 am free of charge and there are enough seats for everyone. Hotel is only 10 minutes away from the airport and shuttle dropped us off very close to the security point. The room was clean and spacious, has a living room with a pullout couch and TV, also a desk on the side that makes you feel like you are in a little studio. This hotel has to be on of the most painful experiences I have had in a while. I was charged a room fee on Expedia and upon getting to the hotel, the staffs asked for my card for a room deposit. I gave it because that’s just due process. Checking my bank statement, the hotel charged me the price of the room and security deposit. I have followed up on the issue of the room charge because why do I get to pay double for the hotel (offline and online) The hotel has said 7 different things since I tried to ask for the refund. They are trying to get away from issuing my refund and it’s very uncomfortable. Each time I call, the hotel staffs hang up or say the manager will contact me. They are extremely rude and very cruel. They clearly don’t care about customer satisfaction so please I’ll not advise anyone to stay in this hotel. If you do, do not give them your card because they’ll take money in your card without your consent and ensure they make up excuses not to pay you back. For your safety, go somewhere else.

It feels more like a motel than a hotel. The property is in poor condition with broken appliances, showers, and towel rods, and it definitely doesn’t meet Hyatt standards. The breakfast options are very limited — mostly cold items with nothing particularly healthy. Also, complimentary water bottles are not provided unless you specifically ask at the front desk. The only positive is its proximity to the airport.

It all started with a request to change the light bulb in the bathroom. It was very dim and flickering. When the maintenance guy arrived to the room, he looked at us like we had 4 heads, as if to imply that there is nothing wrong with the dimness of the bathroom light. I guess all the bathrooms in this hotel have extremely dim lighting. I found this to be true when he replaced the light bulb and it was not much brighter. To continue, the room was supposed to have a bathtub. The tool to make the bath spigot work could be pulled right out of the wall. The same maintenance man looked at it and said, “they all do that.” So, we only had running water from the shower head and were unable to take any relaxing baths while on vacation. Also, the water pressure in the shower was virtually non-existent, and the shower water temp fluctuated between ice cold and burning hot. The microwave door handle was broken, so they had to put a whole new microwave in the room, which was not that big of a deal. The room itself was very nice, clean, and spacious. Needs a smart TV. But not worth it for cold showers, no working tub when a working tub was promised, and horrible bathroom lighting.

Property is under construction- there is no lobby, just a couple of iPads to check in. We tested the ATL Hyatt Place South vs Hyatt Place North, and the South definitely wins.

Although the property was under construction. The room was exactly as pictured. My only concern were the ants in the room, and the check in process there was a fee of 25.00 dollars a night that was refundable however I was not aware of until check in. Staff was very friendly and pleasant and their customer service was phenomenal thank you for the great hospitality!

This property is not included in any of the shuttle info at airport. Expedia did not mention hotel in the middle of a rehab. I picked this hotel because it was supposed to have a restaurant. If I stayed up to after 11 pm the night guy might “make me wings”. I was given a hand full of fast food adds for delivery. The TV was in a hall. Not in bedroom or den but a hall. The sink was in bedroom. I had traveled all day. Not comfortable. Clean yes, bed comfortable. Shuttle on time in am. Pass.

My Apple Watch was stolen. Out of my room. I tracked it in the hotel and it was tracking to house keeping’s area. I live over 6 hours away and it’s still pinging at the hotel. We left for a family outing and my watch was on the sink. We came back and house keeping had came in and replaced our towels and such and my watch was gone. I talked to the gm and house keeping both and they said this has never happened but yet another employee had told me it had. This makes me never want to stay in a hotel again if they hire people like this. They have proof that my watch was showing in the house cleaning area and nothing is being done except saying I’m sorry. They were so suppose to call me back and I’ve had to call them. As one lady was asked if she had seen it she pulled an Apple wireless charger out of her pocket the gm told her she was suppose to turn it in and all she said was oh and it was handed back to her. I need my watch for work and had to go buy a new one because they are dishonest and not doing much to help. If you choose this hotel be very cautious and don’t leave anything of value.

Property was clean and well staffed

During the booking process it fails to tell you that they’re currently doing renovations. Paid for a standard King Room, ended up being in a handicap accessible room. A/C unit sounded like a mouse squealing the whole time. Then at night there was another obnoxious noise coming from behind the tv/safe area and just keeps you up all night. Parking lot is small with extra vehicles not to the hotel taking up space. Most breakfast food was dry. Not my typical Hyatt stay!

My flight was cancelled and the airline put us up in a hotel. I chose the Hyatt. I was very pleased. It was home away from home. The lights were left on for me.

They are in the process of renovating the property so the lobby is about disheveled. That is not the reason for the average review. The staff at check in and check out were efficient and appropriate. The room... While it had been cleaned was notable for missing moulding, a piece of toilet paper used for cleaning remaining in the toilet, a wet area rug and an extremely loud a/c unit. Having said that for the price and convenience, we got our money's worth

The check in was okay. I entered my room on the 5th floor, unpacked and went to take a shower. The water came on, but the shower head did not work. I called the front desk and they sent someone to look at it. He said he fixed it. While the maintence man was in the room I askwd him to check the air unit because it was hot on the room. We left to go to a concert. When we got back, the parking lot was completely full. I had to park my car in the front of the hotel. The security guard told me to park there, though it wasn't a park. The shower was working when we came back that night. The next morning, the shower was out again. We stayed one night; we checked out and I told the man at the desk down stairs about it. He wrote down what I said and she he would sent someone to look at it. It would have been niced to know the hotel was under renovation as well. I am glad I only had to stay one night. I would not book here again.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place Atlanta Airport North and was disappointed with the overall experience, especially considering the standards we’ve come to expect from the Hyatt Place brand. The hotel is undergoing a major renovation, specifically in the main lobby area, which created significant noise, dust, and disruption throughout the day due to tile removal and other construction activities. It’s surprising that the hotel remained open to guests during such an extensive project. Management should have either temporarily closed the hotel or clearly disclosed the extent of the renovations on their website and third-party booking platforms. Guests deserve the opportunity to make an informed decision before booking under such conditions. Unfortunately, it felt like corporate greed took precedence over guest experience. Additionally, the breakfast buffet appeared unsanitary, with food items left exposed in a way that didn’t feel safe or appetizing. This stay was not reflective of the positive experiences we’ve had with other Hyatt Place locations in the past. It’s truly disappointing, as this brand has been a reliable option for us over the years, but this visit fell far short of what we are accustomed to.

my second time staying here and I love it is very convience to get to the domestic or international airport. They experienced a fire and they were very quick to act and keep us safe.

What ever you do, DO NOT STAY HERE..this hotel was dirty, the rooms need a REAL make over. The lobby of the hotel was under construction and they did mention this in the hotel description online. The lobby smelled. The hallways were dingy, dark, and drab. The first floor flooded one night of our stay. It was definitely not up to the Hyatt name. It was just an overall bad experience. The front desk staff were not friendly at all. Just an overall disappointment. I would give it a negative rating if I could.

We arrive at 130a to check in. The hotel is under renovation and parking is very limited. Upon checking into our room. It had 2 sets of towels, when I asked for additional towels, the GSR stated they were out and brought me a dingy Terry towel from the back office. We woke up at 634a to a flooded room on the 6th floor (which was from the AC UNIT). At 730a, we were told they would provide another room as we were headed out to an 845 AAU Tournament. When we return to the property at 130p the room still was not ready. It was until 536p that we were given another room (which wasted our day, just waiting). Not to mention the fire alarm going off during a quick nap about 430p. Both mornings, the breakfast was cold and they ran out of most food items.

The parking lot was overflowing with cars no where to park most cars double parked just to be on property. It was very sketchy at first and seemed very inconvenient but the room was clean lacked towels and washcloth. The plumbing was also bad I reached out to maintenance and was told to get the plugger from downstairs.

The Beautiful studio room , was prefect for my Master beauty graduation event . It had the prefect table and lights plus beautiful mirrors.

We had a very disappointing and frustrating experience staying at this location. My family and I arrived after a 16 hour trip and were extremely exhausted and just needed to take a shower and rest. The Front Desk agent was overwhelmed with attending multiple guests and reservations. We had to wait a while to be checked in at 9 pm. The room assigned did not have clean towels and supplies. We were moved to a different room where the air conditioner was not working and the temperature was over 78 degrees F. No Internet connection. No one to answer calls when we called the front desk for assistance. Bugs in the lobby’s floors. This was not a cheap reservation. I will never stay at this hotel again.
