Breakfast ran low in stock by 9am, I informed the font desk person and it was promptly restocked.

It was a clean, pleasant room. We had no hair dryer which the staff fixed right away by running one all way the from the desk to our room. 2 small bags of chips from the front area costed $9 which I was surprised about. Our upstairs neighbors were bouncing off the walls well after 10pm. It did get quieter after we called the desk. Coffee was delicious!

We love staying at this hotel. Always clean and quiet. Also a great location.

Super clean, large room. All good
- 3/5
Location and there was a room that fit my party of 6 Booked and put information in showing I had 6 people staying, only had 4 towels stocked. Asked for more towels and they had none- they were in the dryer. No pool towels so we walked to our room dripping wet and cold.

That I was remembered from staying back in December. I love that they are very welcoming each time! On our last morning there by 9am there wasn't breakfast left and breakfast ended at 930 the cook wasn't near the kitchen making breakfast for this waiting. She got upset with she did come back at 922 saying breakfast is almost over but many of us were waiting for 30 minutes for her to come back. That staff told me children they couldn't swim in the rain (it wasn't lighting or thundering) just raining they were enjoying themselves minding their own business.

Hotel was very cute and rustic . You can tell it’s older but everything was clean and nice . We were in the second building which was wonderful because it was so quiet . Hopefully when we stay again we can stay on that side it’s nice .
- 5/5
The property is older and rustic(ish)/outdated, but they are trying to provide a lodge type experience. The staff (front desk & housekeeping) is great and friendly, the breakfast is good and consistent. The pool is nice and love that there’s the outdoor option for summer months. Overall a great stay and I keep coming back.

Clean and comfortable
- 3/5
The hallway and stairs needed to be vacuumed. It was dirty and specks all over the floor. My room overall was clean. Breakfast was okay. The staff was kind and helpful.
- 3/5
there was only one working lamp in the room. The beds were really comfortable.
- 3/5
The staff No hot tub it’s been down for three years water down drinks at the bar no soap in the room no towels in the pool area
- 2/5
It is a smoke-free hotel, but our floor stunk of pot terribly. We did bring it to her attention and she said she had another complaint as well, but she wad waiting for another staff person to show up for their shift so she wasnt leaving the front desk unattended. The hot tub was out of commission. We were told it has been broke for 3 years and the owner didnt want to pay to fix it because of how much it would cost. So it just sits collecting dust and bugs. The entire building smelled old and musty throughout. The life is gone from this hotel. We have stayed at other Stoney Creeks before and never had any problems. This one is a eye sore and we would never recommend anyone to stay there. It's past due for a face-lift. If the owner can't afgord it, then time to sell it. But tge front desk gal deserves an A+ in my opinion. She was great!!

I liked the location Check-in time is 3 PM. I arrived. My room wasn’t ready until 5:30 PM. The swimming pool was filthy. There was a brown residue on the top side of the pool walls. My room still had trash in it from the prior person. I found beer bottle caps metal pieces from what look like maybe a lighter , when I showered, you could still see writing on the mirror and the AC in the room, I stayed in wasn’t working. I stayed in many Stoney Creek prior and it never had any issues always thought they were very beautiful hotels. This one was extremely disappointing.

Check in: showing up a half hour early, we were not allowed in one of our 2 rooms. We were not even allowed to pay for an early check in. Note: there were 4 cars in the parking lot when we arrived. For the past decade, we have never had that issue over a half hour. Cleanliness: The floors have not been vacuumed in some time, especially the stairs. it was awful. the rooms were okay but there were certainly issues. I usually stay in the same room (228) and the window has been broken for several years. The floor is uneven and actually a tripping hazard. There was a large screw on the floor that i stepped on too. Room 245s door to the balcony didnt open or shut properly and the bathroom walls were rough. the awnings outside have been torn and not replaced. Pool: i understand when the Sauna was closed (been coming as long as that has been open). But the hot tub used to be a cool feature. Frustrating that that has been closed for many years now. the pool had a nasty film and was very cloudy. Breakfast: Cold food (eggs), broken warmers (was told it just happened even though it was broken in december). Employees talking bad about the place in front of customers. Sue F can stop bugging us for reviews too. almost to the point of annoying. Bar: Francis is good, if he is there

- 5/5
The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. I absolutely love that. There is an indoor and outdoor pool connection. It is essentially located by the highway of really great restaurant across from the property and along the harbor, which was nice to walk our dog in the morning.
- 4/5
Nice, clean, convenient. Well-maintained with a helpful staff.
- 4/5
The property and our room were clean and well maintained. The location was convenient, though we needed to drive to planned events. But someone looking for dinner without driving could go across the parking lot to the seafood restaurant, Jonah's. Breakfast was a different story. "Breakfast included" was advertised but the limited space and timing forced us to find breakfast elsewhere. It didn't open until 7:00am and the line at 7:15 stretched around the room and into the lobby. Additional staff would have made little difference; it was too many people in too small a space for a "serve yourself" setup. The staff who were working were simply overwhelmed. Maybe it was better by 9:30 but we needed to be at Bradley's graduation long before that.
- 5/5
We stayed for a night and got to enjoy the pool sadly the hot tub was out of order but we still had fun! Would definitely recommend and stay again!
- 4/5
Amenities are dated
- 1/5
We tried to check into our room and had all our confirmation emails but was told they had no room for us. Completely unacceptable
- 4/5
If you like rustic charm then you will love this hotel. Some rooms have a jacuzzi while others have fireplaces The hotel has an awesome location set on the riverfront with Jonah’s seafood right next door.
- 5/5
Perfect only place I stay at in Peoria
- 3/5
The guy that checked us in was making assumptions and unnecessary remarks. Felt very uncomfortable. The pillows on the bed were flat and like sleeping on slabs of cement. Horrible. The hotel room was clean.
- 5/5
Fine
- 5/5
I was on a short vacation visiting my daughter and this was perfect on a budget. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. I found that i was very happy that i chose them. Such a quaint hotel with the lake surrounding it. There is a restaurant 8 minutes away for a nice stroll. The other hotels in same price range had too many conflicting reviews. Stay here and you won't regret it.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff. Hotel room was perfect 👌
- 3/5
Hot tub was out of order. Carpet in the room was coming up off the floor, bathroom door wasn’t latching shut and we had to go get a full set of towels from the desk upon check in as there weren’t any in the bathroom.
- 5/5
Not enough pool side seating. Hot tub out of order. Water on pool cloudy. Chilly on pool area. Bar closed due to ill bartender. I would think a manager could fill in. Ran out of towels at pool.
- 3/5
The pool area is sparse and disappointing. Some random chairs placed around with only a couple tables. The hot tub has been drained and chained off forever. The sauna is no less nger available.
- 2/5
I stayed at Stoney Creek in Des Moines & it was a fantastic experience a few years ago. I was expecting same experience but it was not… the pool was very dirty, scum all around, no towels on Thursday or Friday. The hot tub was broken, I asked how long it had been broken & I was told 4 years… the bar was not open on Thursday night. The breakfast was not good. The one thing that was positive was they had a few options of flavored coffee creamers. We will not be staying at this location again. I think the new standard we will need to call what amenities are actually in service.
- 3/5
Hot tub is still out of order for 3 years now
- 5/5
We’ve stayed here before and as always it was enjoyable!
- 5/5
Not the season for the pool. I was there for work so I personally wouldn’t be able to say but there were others enjoying the bar.
- 3/5
The breakfast was just ok. The hot tub was out of service. The room was clean
- 5/5
Really neat hotel! Comfortable pillows. Breakfast was included.
- 5/5
Charming log-cabin feel of the hotel, easy to find location near the Eastport Marina. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Has a neat indoor-outdoor pool with a pass thru wall between them, sadly the hot tub was not working. Only negative was my room was near the end of the hall and I heard a door banging every 20 minutes, but overall I really liked this hotel.
- 4/5
Excellent staff and clean rooms.
- 4/5
The view of the river was nice.
- 4/5
We did go swimming. It's a good sized pool, but the water was murky. I did like the in/out cobcept of the pool. The workout area was adequate. I like that it was close to the outlets and nice upcoming shopping area. There's also a large Bads Pro Shop about 10 minutes away. It's also close to a small casino.

Comfy rooms. Loved the bar!
- 4/5
The staff were welcoming, kind, and efficient. Everything appeared to be clean. Overall needs an update.
- 5/5
Room was clean and well lit. Bathroom good. Breakfast good. Staff friendly. Fitness center VERY clean. Close to dining and river. I'll be staying here again when in the Peoria area.
- 4/5
The room was totally out of towels. Busy place. The staff was kind despite stretched! The pool was over crowded and no towels. No smoking policy yet the halls were strong with the smell of marijuanna! So strong it came into our room at night. Stoney Creek has changed from a few years back. We’ve always liked it by River.
- 2/5
Check in was at 3 they wouldn’t give us a room until 5:15 no hot tub available
- 1/5
Staff were rude. My room wasn’t ready by check in time. They “don’t have enough housekeeping staff to clean the rooms on time.” The entire front desk staff during the day was rude. Evening staff was nicer Room overall was ok, nothing that impressive. Could use updates. I don’t like there are two buildings. We stayed with our softball team. I would not recommend staying here. Breakfast doesn’t start until 7 so if you get there early game you are not getting it.
- 5/5
Love the layout and rustic decor. Everyone was super friendly. Very dog friendly without an extra charge.
- 1/5
Was told that the room would not be available for checkin until 7pm due to staff shortage. They was told by front desk team that it was not their fault. Zero apologies. Brutal
- 4/5
Friendly staff, easy check in and parking. Thankful for the smooth stay.
- 2/5
I originally checked into the hotel and was assigned a room that when I got there the room was not clean, the toilet had feces in it and there were dirty towels in the bathroom. I approached the front desk to move rooms, but was met with well a non apologetic guest host who in my opinion made me feel like it was my fault. She did move me to another room where, in my opinion that floor and my room needs some work. The trim on the door is falling off and did fall off in the hallway was laying in the floor. The property itself just needs some updating. I can't say that I will stay there again....
- 3/5
Meh. It was ok and the price is cheap so I wouldn’t expect much. But it’s old and my room smelled like an old hotel
- 1/5
Pool water was murky. Expedia said they had a hot tub, hot tub was roped off and staff said it hadn't been open in 3 years. Room was dirty and the hotel seemed to generally be unkept.
- 5/5
Excellent!!
- 5/5
It was a nice place
- 3/5
Room was clean, but dated. There was some staining and visual damage to ceiling and walls. Bed was soft and good for one night. Carpet in bedrooms were clean. I wore white socks and they didn’t get filthy. Pool area was nice. Hot tub not working. Breakfast was okay, watery eggs, bagels, pancakes, yogurt, cereal, biscuits and gravy. A bit over priced for what it was at $150+ for a weekend. I wouldn’t stay again.
- 2/5
Clean room and nice staff. Could hear the kids going to and from the pool/stairs (didn't bother me but might someone else). Reserved the room over a month ago, did the pre-check in that asked what time I'll be there, and my room still wasn't ready. They said give them 30 minutes, still wasn't ready again so they sent someone in there. Finally called me after like 30 minutes or so
- 5/5
Nice, comfortable stay. Staff was kind and made us feel like we were staying with friends. Will return if I ever happen to be in Peoria again.
- 5/5
Everything was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful
- 5/5
The rooms where clean and the free breakfast was a 4 out of 5
- 3/5
Hot tub was not working, limited bar options.

Still No hot tub or sauna. No pool towels. No one monitoring the wild rude teens in the pool.

My daughter and I came for the pool area the hot tub was completely closed off and not working and the pool was not very clean the water was so cloudy you could not even see the bottom of the pool. There were no pool towels on the first day we had to ask a couple times up front and the next day there were a few in the morning. When we checked in at 3:15 most of the rooms were not cleaned because they said housekeeping was running behind
- 4/5
Hot tub out of order
- 5/5
Room was clean. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and they seem very small.
- 5/5
Hotel staff was very helpful. Very knowledgeable and eager to help. Loved the ranch decor. Would definitely stay again when in the area.
- 4/5
It was enjoyable the bartender was amazing the pool was amazing but the room had wall paper hanging off and I had to plunge toilet when I had ask the front desk twice and the 3rd time they brought a plunger and told me to plunge it
- 4/5
Unfortunately the room we were first directed to was dirty from the previous people and was never cleaned, but they did address the problem quickly and the new room was nice and clean. It was also a bummer that the hot tub was out of order and someone got sick in the pool the only night we could use it. So I am unable to really assess how nice the pool was for this hotel. The breakfast was good and the breakfast attendants were kind and helpful.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 4/5
Rooms are a little worn, but the staff is fantastic. Pool was a blast.
- 5/5
A++
- 1/5
Room 136 was disgusting dirty - dust , stains , not vacuumed, dirty sticky stuff inside the room ( chair, table, fridge were all sticky and finger prints all over the place ) . The items in the room were very outdated and unstable - the bottom of the bed was coming apart, btw …the beds are twins even though the advertising in some rooms it said “ queen bed”, the lamps were falling apart with holes in them… the entire room was a wreck and a garbage disposal. It stunk like bad piping. The best part about our stay was the path by the lake where you can walk outside on a nice day !
- 5/5
Food was good, rooms were clean
- 4/5
Th rooms were clean , staff helpful and nice , pool was clean - no pool towels available, had to go to the front desk . The rooms were out dated and no enough lighting , lightbulbs was out , wallpaper was peeling off.
- 5/5
Decoration was fun! Staff was congenial, particularly at the front desk and the breakfast attendant.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
This place was exactly what I was looking for. A room with a balcony and kitchenette and living room. Would’ve been nicer if there was any dishes or silverware. For the cost, this cannot be beat. I am extremely satisfied.
- 5/5
Stay was wonderful. Clean with a cabin atmosphere. Breakfast was also pretty tasty.
- 5/5
It was clean, staff was friendly, it was quiet and the room was fantastic

There was no hot tub! I booked this hotel for my Anniversary specificly due the hot tub and the hot tub alone. So having no hot tub really upset me and ruined our Anniversary night. The lady at check in front desk was rude with guests, someone on the phone, and with me. When we went to the
- 5/5
Room was clean and the bed comfortable. The pool was like fresh sewage.
- 5/5
The pool is always refreshing, it would be nice if the hot tub worked but I just spend a little more money and get a room with a Jacuzzi tub. The staff is always amazing and nice. It's the only hotel I will stay at when we have to travel to the area. The rooms are not only clean but they are a good size and very nice as well.
- 5/5
All was good
- 3/5
Hot tub DOES NOT work. The site has multiple pictures of said hot tub. I messaged the property and was told hot tub was open until 11pm for adults. That is not true. Family was lioking forward to using it.
- 4/5
Pool, room, and was great the hot tub was not working which was a bummer.
- 5/5
I didnt use the pool this time but i have in the past so im sure its fine
- 3/5
My stay was good it was just the noise and the guest internet didn’t work so I had to use my hotspot the entire time I was there
- 5/5
Great social staff! Needed to add a night and they were super accommodative to allow us to keep the same room for the next night even though it was two different bookings! Liked the separate space away from main lobby for our group to visit.
- 3/5
Breakfast was horrible. Big up charge for bringing a dog. Room ok
- 3/5
The hot tub has been broken for three years- clearly, they don't have a plan to fix it. A kid threw up in the pool, so that was closed for the night. The hotel was fine, but the stay was just disappointing.
- 2/5
Not all of the staff should have a bad review but some here need to understand your in the hospitality industry, if you can't or don't want to do your job and act like your happy to customers/ guest then maybe you need to find another career. Most of the staff otherwise was polite and guest friendly. We left a day early due to a very unprofessional employee who was very rude because another employer who was new obviously didn't have or wasn't taught certain training when checking guest in ( not her fault) but the rude employee was next to her and helped her when i was checking in, but was to worried about whatever she was doing on her personal phone rather then making sure the check in was done properly.
- 4/5
So first of all the hot tub has not been working for 4 years. Maybe hotels.com should state that. Room was clean, nice, loved the furniture. Staff was friendly. The pillows could use an upgrade. They were horrible. Also a kid puked in the pool so i did not get to enjoy that either, not the hotel’s fault but still sucked.
- 3/5
Staff was great. Room very clean and quiet. For some reason the he bed and pillows in this room were not as comfortable as all the other beds we have slept in at this hotel. And we have stayed a lot. The bed and pillows were firm, not cushy like the other rooms. I did not sleep well, nor did my husband. He was up at 3am and went down to the lobby and drank coffee because he was uncomfortable. I will visit again because this is the first time the bed and pillows were different. But, I will not stay in this room again.
- 4/5
Was clean and staff was great
- 5/5
We had no reservation from Hotels.com when we arrived. Thank goodness the attendant on duty was able to help us get a room. She went above and beyond.
- 2/5
The room had a couple dirty areas. The hot tub was closed (this was the 3rd stay in a row for us that it's been closed). Both mornings of our stay this time, the breakfast was almost non-existent due to running out of food and not making more.
- 1/5
The breakfast option in the morning was not great. They ran out of food in the middle of the breakfast time and also utensils and condiments like syrup for the pancake machine they had. The room was clean. The staff were friendly Enough. When I called the night before to ask about extended checkout they offer for additional $25 online the receptionist told me they don’t offer it on weekends. Would be nice if they advertise that. She did put me down for a noon checkout, but when I went to try and go back to my room at 11:07 am the room key didn’t work, even though upon checking I confirmed I would have access to the room until noon. I will not be returning to this resort. I think at one point it was very nice. Maybe management change happened and it went downhill. Not sure but I would not recommend this to anyone I know as a place to stay.
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was friendly, and atmosphere was very cozy :)
- 4/5
Clean rooms, clean pool. Disappointed the hot tub wasn’t working.
- 2/5

Manager of hotel was rude. Dog was walking behind the front desk. Check in was not smooth. I received attitude from front desk, asked to speak to the manager and was treated horribly after traveling 3 hrs to get there in the weather. , sink leaking
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was kind and kids loved the indoor pool
- 1/5
I’m mad at them and mad a hotels.com for not making it right. They should be penalized and I should get two free nights stay at a comparable hotel free of charge for my inconvenience!
- 3/5
Hot tub has been broken for three years, but still shown in the pictures with a sign that no kids are allowed, which would have been really nice for what we thought would’ve been a romantic getaway. The bar was also closed.

Everything was fine except the room wasn’t ready till after 7 when checkin was supposed to be at 3. They blamed it on staffing.
- 5/5
Always a great stay. The staff is wonderful and always friendly and accommodating. Never any issues with cleanliness. Would recommend.

The room wasnt the cleanest stains on floors and lamp shade found a used wash cloth in the shower curtain. Orange Juice tasted funny . Really disappointing no hot tub or sauna

Please do not spray the purfume air freshener in the rooms. It is overpowering. The halls had a vanilla smell, the rooms we a strong perfume smell. With temps in tje negative we had to open a window and turn on the heat to try and lighten the headache enducing smell.
- 5/5
Pet friendly, clean rooms, staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist. The hotel is getting older and could use so.e updates, like smart tvs so you can log into netflix accounts etc. Decor and furniture could use some updating as well....but for the price the amenities, and the friendly staff, its a great place to stay.
- 5/5
The room was great had its own kitchen. The staff at check-in went above and beyond
- 5/5
place is great! front desk were very accomodating and friendly! would come back!
- 3/5
Moved a chair closer to the lamp and found previous guests’ clothing. Pillows were flat and worn out. Asked for a different pillow at front desk and was given a slightly less worn one from a vacant room. Brown splash on door frame of bathroom. Sink leaked onto countertop, apparent attempted repair with thick second layer of grout. Bed was comfortable and bedding and towels were clean. Staff was friendly.

Everything very clean. Breakfasts were very good
- 3/5
Rioms are always fairly clean. Good customer service is hard to find anywhere anymore. CS here was mediocre
- 5/5
Very nice staff. The hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious.

Staff very nice professional the hotel itself is older. Could use a refreshing.
- 5/5
Everyone was very friendly and prompt when asked for more towels and toilet paper. Kids loved the pool
- 5/5
Room was very nice and clean
- 5/5
Good place to stay. Bartender was courteous and funny.
- 3/5
Hopefully fully repairs get done to the hot tub so people can use it again
- 3/5
Our first room smelled bad and the heat didn’t work. Second wasn’t bad but the whole place was a little rough. The hot tub was closed which was the only reason I booked here. Then the charged the wrong card and we also got charged for someone else’s snacks and the charges showed up three times on my card. I had to call and get someone to fix it.
- 4/5
The room was clean. It had everything I needed. The lobby stairs-specifically - were not so clean, but nothing terrible. The bar closes too early. I love the decorum of the hotel. A really cool place for families.
- 5/5
Staff was great and room was comfortable and clean
- 5/5
Very warm and homey environment, super friendly staff ❣️
- 5/5
Breakfast was decent every morning and the beds are comfy! The only complaints I have are I wish there were other fruit options at breakfast and my room wasn't thoroughly cleaned but I will still be back. This is my favorite hotel!!
- 5/5
Yes everything was great, breakfast was great very friendly staff, my only complaint was I was given key to an already occupied room, but it was quickly cleared up..
- 5/5
We will always use Stoney Creek when visiting East Peoria.
- 4/5
Breakfast not that great
- 5/5
Room was spacious and clean. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
We stay here frequently..luv this place..however I spent more money this time on a theme room & wasn’t impressed..bed was hard & squeaked everytime u moved & the floor above us squeaked everytime someone walked across it..hot tub was out of order…the old lady running the breakfast was racial profiling a couple of boys & super rude to them!
- 5/5
The staff was great, the room was clean and the pool felt good
- 5/5
Our room was great and all the staff were so helpful and friendly.
- 1/5
You guys didn’t send my reservation over and I had to pay again and no refund from you. Horrible
- 5/5
Very clean
- 5/5
Very clean and check was very easy and friendly staff
- 5/5
This is our 6th time there. Love it and we will be back. Francis is the best bartender he is so fun.
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Very nice decor and friendly staff.
- 3/5
The staff was not friendly or courteous. A manager walked in front of me to serve herself coffee. The desk staff was not apologetic about the out of order hot tub. She only said that they took the hot tub amenity off their website.
- 4/5
Lights vy bed didnt work. Lots of kids running the halls till after 1130pm very noisy and we requestes next to friwnds we put 2 floors and opposite enda of hotel aaway
- 1/5
Loud music and partying in the parking lot in the middle of the night. Hotel let it happen, general manager doesn’t return phone calls to deal with complaints. Broken glass from a car window in the lot they never cleaned up either. Dirty hotel, find another one is my recommendation.
- 5/5
Very nice lodging!
- 4/5
It was all good.
- 5/5
This was my first stay at this property, and I will definitely return. Front Desk staff were extremely kind and helpful.
- 5/5
Great place to stay.
- 2/5
broken treadmill
- 4/5
It was an ok stay. The place was packed. When arrived there were new rules in placed that I wish I knew ahead of time. The staff was being very annoying about the pool and kids wristbands. Seem like every 30 minutes they wanted to check your arm. Then the staff was checking the same kids arm over and over. Also the bathroom door in my room was broken. You would get stuck if u try to close it. There was also some type of construction going on where we were to park which was a mess.
- 5/5
It’s very nice
- 5/5
Parking lot not in great shape
- 5/5
Everything about the experience was great.
- 5/5
Wonderful Inn would definitely stay again while traveling.
- 3/5
Fix jacuzzi in pool room
- 4/5
free breakfast buffet was good. The pool towels were never available which means people dripping wet throughout the hotel. The hot tub has been closed for ever. Really disappointing. This was my favorite part of the hotel. I won't be staying again until its fixed.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel for the price and nice free hot breakfast in the morning.
- 1/5
First room smelled like mold! Had to switch to another room that then had ants all over the air conditioner and beds were smaller but paid for two queen beds!!! Very disappointed! Wont be back!
- 1/5
Now I’m stuck having to chase down Expedia for a refund for something I already paid for. Unacceptable level of communication and coordination between Expedia and their hotel partners.
- 2/5
Room was dusty.
- 4/5
Everything was good except for the pillows.
- 1/5
Pool- crowded Gym - nothing worked Bar- Francis is a good time Breakfast - not very good
- 5/5
This was our second time staying here and it is our preferred hotel in the area.
- 5/5
Clean room and friendly staff
- 5/5
The hotel is nice and we enjoyed our stay. They had a lot of kids staying when we were there and they were very loud in the hall until around 11pm.
- 4/5
This was a great hotel it's within driving distance to a lot of places and overall extremely quaint hotel. I enjoyed my stay
- 4/5
There were ALOT of kids running the halls after 10 pm. :(
- 5/5
I love staying at the location. Great everything!

Room had a slight odor. I loved the size of the room and the balcony was perfect

Look this SPECIFIC property is special. Special in the sense they care about families, couples (especially), groups, singles..... they have regulars for the hotel bar that are locals and if that doesnt tell you something, i dont know what could. Its a hotel, are flaws going to be present? Some places! Other places they care so much it absolutely makes up for any lacking. I have been coming to this specific hotel for years, as a young adult to a man in the middle of his life. This place has been a home away from my home many nights, many weeks, many holidays. Dont overlook the genuineness of this hotel. It has been a blessing on my sanity and in my life, those that operate the joint and those employees that care! THANK YOU. all of you, to the ones that dont even work here anymore. I miss you but i also thank you.
- 4/5
We surely would stay again. Breakfast was great.
- 5/5
the employees were nice. parking was great. nice wide hallways. room was clean and air conditioning worked great. bed comfy. pillows a bit hard. didn't notice there were no bath towels until after the shower. used the hand towels then front desk gave me bath ones when i mentioned it. maintenance fixed the lamp when i let them know it was flickering. It was crowded with kids so couldn't enjoy the pool at all, but that's not the fault of the hotel, just a let down for me. I'd stay again.
- 3/5
The pool/lobby area is choas! It seems that some of the people using the pool aren't even guests.
- 4/5
Nice hotel. Hot tub was out of service and was one of the main reasons we had picked this hotel. Also, when booking the room, I thought we'd get a bathtub, but it was just a shower. That's not bad, but we have a 4 year old and were hoping to let him play in the tub. Otherwise, we had a very nice stay.
- 5/5
Very homey
- 4/5
The biggest problem was they double charged me. I had already paid through expedia. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Even though the manager said, she dropped the charge it was posted to my account.
- 5/5
.
- 4/5
We had a very nice stay. The breakfast was pretty good, i wish they would add biscuits n gravy to their menu. The only real complaint i have is they need taller toliets. Please repla e these kiddie toliets and put some big boy/girl toliets.
- 5/5
The room was nice and the property was clean and convenient to the entire Peoria and East Peoria areas.
- 1/5
This was the worst stay I have ever had. The staff was horrible and unhelpful, the rooms were a mess and the event we were hosting there was not done correctly.
- 5/5
Nice hotel with a good view of river
- 5/5
The breakfast was fantastic
- 5/5
The room smell and looked very clean lovely decor
- 5/5
Staff was friendly. Breakfast staff was super attentive. Warm breakfast was good.
- 5/5
Great convenience for Blues Festival
- 5/5
Great location. Super pretty sunsets. Great dining options.
- 2/5
Loud noises at 430am in the hallway every night
- 4/5
It was fine for the money.
- 5/5
Lovely building. Convenient location
- 4/5
Pool needs routine cleaning. Air vents in rooms need regular cleaning. There was mold inside the actual unit and the air filters have not been cleaned in a while. Over all clean and friendly. All services were professional and quick. Bartender Francis was the best.
- 5/5
We were in town for a wedding and this location was perfect for us!
- 5/5
It was perfect for our overnight stay
- 5/5
The pool was amazing, and although the hot tub wasn't available, the kids had a great time.
- 5/5
Lovely place. Gorgeous views down the way
- 4/5
Room was nice
- 5/5
Quiet, comfortable and spacious
- 2/5
Our first room looked awful, the bed wasn't made, the bathroom was dirty and there was a big dog that barked a lot next door. We brought it up to the staff, who was good enough to relocate us, but the door on the 2nd room wouldn't lock at all. We spent all weekend worried about the safety of our items left in the room. The hottub has been broken for years, the pool is well kept, but the floor is slippery when wet. Also, they ran out of pool towels and they weren't replaced til the next day after several parents went to the front desk to request them.
- 3/5
Location
- 5/5
Very friendly and helpful staff. They put you in a better mood. Few rooms had river view but ours did. Hopefully the hot tub will be repaired next time
- 3/5
I love the location!! Its pretty loud at night though.
- 5/5
The staff is always friendly. Room was clean and smelled fresh not musty or moldy. Great location.
- 5/5
It was amazing. I really love the views.
- 1/5
The hot tub wasn’t working and that’s why I booked that hotel in the first place. There wasn’t blankets for pillows when I asked for more. The bathroom soaps wasn’t full at all. And the toilet was clogged for most of our stay
- 3/5
Our stay was god other then the hot tub was broken and that’s one of the things we look forward too on our trips
- 5/5
Room was very nice, spacious and relaxing!
- 5/5
A hidden gem for sure! We will be back.
- 5/5
Wonderful stagf
- 2/5
We found a nasty dirty baby bottle stuffed in at the head of the bed. And there was a large group of pre teens in the pool area that tried to steal our goggles and had no adult supervision most of the time. We were also really looking forward to the hot tub but that And the sauna were both out of order. More than a little disappointed.
- 5/5
The facilities were extremely clean and well kept. The room was spotless and the bed slept heavenly.
- 5/5
My room had musky snd damp smell.
- 5/5
It was great because of being dog friendly
- 5/5
We found the hotel to be clean, have super friendly service, and accommodation priced reasonable. It may seem a bit outdated, but we found it charming for the price. We would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Nice hotel. Room was clean and spacious. Helpful staff. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Love the suite the hot tub was amazing and relaxing
- 2/5
The room was very humid and didn’t smell great.
- 2/5
Have been staying there for many years but this year was the worst. Called at once at 7pm for one reservation and again at 8pm for another reservation to say they overbooked but the place was a ghost town. Rooms were thrown together quickly to accommodate our 3 reservations. Food still in fridges, razors still in shower.
- 5/5
Been going there for years rooms are clean. Everyone is very friendly.
- 5/5
Had a wonderful stay at this inn. We were driving from out of state arriving late in the evening. We received a call from the front desk saying they had issues with Expedia reservations and they had no rooms left. After speaking with another staff member they were able to upgrade our room to a suite.
- 5/5
Always a nice stay at Stoney creek and a great free breakfast
- 5/5
Decor was unique. Nothing was bad
- 4/5
The decor was beautiful but the room and hallway smelled musty/moldy. The smell was really bad.
- 2/5
Property was run down and dirty
- 5/5
Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Staying for son's wedding nearby and was beautiful thank you.
- 5/5
Love Stoney Creek! It’s cozy and quiet in a great location.
- 3/5
Nice location. Could use updating. Staff was lazy. But all in all, ok.
- 5/5
We always try to stay at Stoney Creeks
- 5/5
I lived it was so much funny staff friendly guest friendly nice pool and bar area great place
- 4/5
The first room we stayed in for the first part of our day was excellent. The staff has absolutely gone over and beyond to help myself because I have a broken wrist so they helped carry items, really accommodated what I needed. We had to move to another building due to them working on the water heater. I upgraded to the premier suite. Unfortunately, we had a couple issues with that room. The cable wasn’t working, there were a few things that were broken. The other issue that I had is that there’s no Manager on staff for the weekend. That is one of the busiest times of the week so it was hard to have to wait to talk to somebody to get these things fixed. We ended up having to stay in the room without the Cable in the living areaand the other issues. But, I cannot compliment the staff enough. The manager that I was able to speak to Monday, was very upset that our stay had ended like it did. She made sure to get the maintenance staff right on that room to be fixed for the Next guests. She was absolutely wonderful and very understanding. She made sure that we were taken care of. So as far as a hotel that has wonderful staff, I would absolutely recommend there. It’s not very often that every staff member you run into at a hotel is extremely nice like they were. Even the housekeeping went out of their way.
- 3/5
The staff needs to be trained on using their time more wisely we checked in at 7pm and all the rooms still hadn’t been cleaned and the staff were hanging around the check in desk chatting. The carpets in public areas were in desperate need of sweeping and cleaning. The pool was being used as a local hang out by some teenagers who were vaping, playing inappropriate music and language. It is a beautiful hotel just needs some attention to keep it from going downhill any more than it already has. The bar tender was very friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
Property has a hot tub but it was closed during time of stay and seems to have been closed for some time according to other reviews but this information was not provided by property online. Waited fifteen minutes to get our room (was booked in advance) which was fine but the sheets had stains near the headboard which was odd for a room that should've been freshly cleaned. Overall the staff were decent and there were no problems with them, the property itself could be unkept a little better.
- 5/5
Great place to relax and rejuvenate for the next round of shopping with my seater!
- 4/5
Sofabed is in terrible shape. Squeaking. Pillows were too soft to a fault. They looked fluffy but you would get a neckache. They may be understaff but housekeeping never got back to me or to the front desk. They were out of fabric conditioner after all the exchange in coins that I went through back and forth. Front desk staff were friendly, accommodating and professional. Their pool was a joy to the kids (outdoor & indoor combined).
- 4/5
There was no daily or even every other day housekeeping. My trash was full! Would be nice to have that service at least once in 3 nights of a stay. The whirlpool was out of service which was a disappointment. This is not the fault of the employees but the breakfast area each morning was total chaos! Rude guests, messy with the food, no sense of waiting in line just taking over the whole buffet like it was their own kitchen and the poor staff could not keep up! Very crowded for any number of people to enjoy.
- 4/5
The place was very quaint and cozy. The front counter staff (except for one) seemed disinterested and not very welcoming sadly.
- 2/5
Pool was very dirty / hot tub in pool area inop
- 4/5
Our stay was very nice, front desk staff were very helpful during check in while explain all the charges etc. We got back to the hotel very late at night, and were excited to shower. My husband not I packed any bathroom amenities like shampoo/conditioner etc. As this was a one night stay and typically hotels offer these things. They had conditioner.. but no shampoo. On our way back in that night I asked the front desk lady who was very busy, bless her soul, if I could get one for our room and she looked around for a minute but asked if she could bring it up to us in a few? I said absolutely we’d really appreciate that and went to our room. We ended up just showering w out the shampoo and let her know that so she didn’t make a trip. She was very thankful that I let her know. You could tell by talking to her she really cares about her job which was nice. The next morning there was a decent selection of food offered in the breakfast and it was really nice overall.
- 5/5
It was a nice place
- 3/5
My family stayed there about 15 years ago and loved our experience. When we arrived this weekend, the facilities seemed a little run-down but clean. The staff was unenthusiastic. There were adults partying with beverages in the pool, even though signs specifically said no food or drinks. People were running down the halls and yelling in the halls after 11pm.
- 1/5
While the staff were friendly, there were guests smoking pot on our floor. It was horrible! We left as soon as the situation was not resolved.
- 1/5
One of the bunkbed had a stain on it looked like dried blood I reported it and no phone call back from the manager
- 3/5
Our room smelled like old cigarettes. There was a machine left on the desk in my room. Room had a pull out couch but didn't see any extra bedding for it. Door to the small porch didn't open and the fridge was "sweating".
- 1/5
People were in the parking lot smoking pot, hot tub was not in service, cold water in the shower
- 3/5
We had a 2nd floor annex room and it had a dormer window in it of all things. Woke up at 5 am due to sunlight pouring in. This is a very poorly designed feature. Customers should either be able to block that dormer or it should be redesigned to make the window and huge open area in the ceiling blocked off.
- 5/5
This is a gem of a place. The room had an armchair that makes you feel like the president. Only regret is that I couldn’t pack the armchair in my backpack. Staff was excellent. Room was excellent. If I’m back in town I will stay here. Recommend this place for all travel purposes.
- 4/5
Nice property, but short staffed the night we stayed. Wanted a nightcap, but bar was closed due to staffing. Property showing some wear and tear.
- 5/5
Room was clean and beds were really comfortable
- 5/5
Stoney Creek is a beautiful riverside Inn. There are beautiful flowers, trees, and rock gardens taken care of by a friendly maintenance man. I wish i could rememner his name! A man named Gift is a worker there and bery friendly also.
- 1/5
Clean and comfortable but I was changed a few that was not discussed and I called the front desks about the extra charge and IV never received a call from the manager about the additional charges on my card.
- 5/5
Always very nice at this hotel with friendly staff.
- 4/5
Since it was 4th July. Very busy. Few groups of people in bar were loud and drunk. Pool is small and not accommodating. Had a nice trip to see fireworks close to where we stayed. Diverse people. Would stay again.
- 3/5
We love the uniqueness of the hotel along with the location. The maintenence of the property has seemed to decline compared to how it was last year when we visited. Anywhere from room and exit doors not opening and shutting properly to the bathroom still having old used washcloths in them with none of the soaps being filled. We didnt run into a winner crew working either. The 4th of July was definitely causing a struggle.
- 5/5
Wish we could have stayed longer, great price on suite with personal hot tub, wonderful! Young man at front desk was very helpful and kind!
- 4/5
Cute place on a lake great theme with a pool and solid breakfast~ beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. Standouts were the lovely staff!
- 5/5
Love the way the whole place is decorated
- 5/5
This was a stopover in our cross country travels, with our dog. They take pets and there is a nice lakeside trail to walk on. Jusy be aware, It is a super busy hotel. There were many kids thrre for badeball tournement ans a wedding. But we surprisingly still had a good night's sleep. Staff was very nice, check in super easy.
- 4/5
Unique
- 4/5
Near the water was a huge plus
- 5/5
River views in some rooms, and easy walk to river. Great seafood restaurant nearby.
- 4/5
The convenience for what I needed
- 5/5
This was a nice place to stay, didn’t have any problems. It was clean and the beds were comfortable
- 3/5
Nice room, bathroom shower was covered in hair unfortunately by another female, check in was a little rude at beginning of stay, check out way easy
- 3/5
Overall a nice stay
- 1/5
There was poop in the pool and that was the reason we booked there.
- 5/5
Unique decor. Nice indoor outdoor pool areas.
- 5/5
Easy to find , big clean room, like having frig & microwave, bar roomy.
- 5/5
Traveling from Florida we stayed at several hotels and lodges. This by far was the best! Friendly staff. Very nice breakfast. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Would definitely recommend
- 3/5
I liked the unique decorations here and the view of the lake so close by. There is a bar in this hotel. At the time of the check in, the man checking us in along with the bartender and a woman acted very strange, (maybe just overly friendly?) but encouraging us to come in to the bar later. I suppose some may find this inviting, but I thought it was inappropriate since I certainly wasn't going to take my teenage granddaughter into a hotel bar. As a woman traveling alone with her, it did not make me feel safe. We had to make several trips to the car for things and each time, the guy behind the counter was making silly gestures I'm sure he thought were funny but again made me feel uncomfortable.
- 5/5
Great pool and rooms were clean.
- 5/5
The people working at the front desk were so friendly! They went above and beyond. Will for sure be staying here again!
- 4/5
Room was outdated and not very clean but could’ve been worse other than that very nice
- 4/5
It’s a good place to stay.
- 2/5
They seem to be having staffing issues as they weren’t able to handle the amount of check-ins on a holiday weekend in a timely manner. It took over 2 hrs for a room to become available. They offered drink tokens as apology but it was hard to find service in the bar area. Very disappointing stay.
- 5/5
Great stay great staff
- 2/5
Overall, the cleanliness was good. The pool was ice cold. The jacuzzi still does not work...there is brown, bubbly liquid in some of the recesses of the fake rocks of the jacuzzi. Unfortunately, there were kids running through the hallways and people yelling in the hallways up until approx 12am. Not sure if staff was aware...not sure how any of it could be missed. The breakfast was lacking...there was no milk, the eggs had water pooled at the bottom of them, potatoes were cold, biscuits were hard...at it was 0730. I've stayed here before and this was probably my worst stay. Stoneycreek will no longer be a first choice for me.
- 1/5
Overbooked, had to wait 3 hours past check in for a room. Room had terrible odor, air only worked if put on 60degrees, free breakfast but couldn’t even try bc line was out the door.
- 1/5
Dirty, bathroom, noisy air conditioner below our room, very little choices for breakfast, spoiled milk , room next to us constantly coming in out of their room late at night slamming their door. Told the front desk as we checked out she was not apologetic and rolled her eyes at me and said she would let them know. Got home tried to contact general manager and no response . Left my number for a return call and no results. Very bad experience for sure. If I don’t hear back I will contact BBB.
- 1/5
Dirty bathroom, noisy air conditioner that kept us up, breakfast was terrible no choices in food ,spoiled milk room next to us was going in out of their room slamming door. Check out I expressed my complaints and the lady was unapologetic rolled her eyes at me and just said I’ll let them know. Was not friendly at all. Very bad experience!! Tried getting a hold of general manager and left my number to return my call with no results. I will be telling everyone I know how bad it was there.
- 2/5
The room was clean but the main area of the hotel and hallway had a weird aroma. The hotel was overran by kids. There were people in the hallway past 10pm drinking and talking. Also in an area in front of the elevators there were lounge chairs by rooms and people being obnoxious. The bed was absolutely uncomfortable. The breakfast was mediocre. Never enough eggs, protein, and french toast. The drinks were watered down. All in all we were there for business and won't be staying again.
- 5/5
Is very clean
- 5/5
Friendly staff, very nice warm, clean pool. The rooms were nice.
- 2/5
Coffee tended to be luke warm and two of the three days was out. Showers were luke warm, as well. The staff at Stoney Creek were nice people. I realize the sheer volume of people staying there added to the discomfort.
- 4/5
It was novel and I enjoyed that, which is why I booked here. However, it was not waterfront as I expected.
- 1/5
Nothing
- 5/5
Quiet, clean, friendly staff
- 1/5
Property is run down, dirty, people smoking weed outside the entry doors. Police had to be called because of a fight. Housekeeping staff was very nice, other than that absolute 0.
- 4/5
Good
- 3/5
Not the first time I have stayed there first time was excellent but the last time Hotel cleanliness was good employees were awesome but when went to pool there was about 15 to 20 boys in pool and adults were around but kids were jumping in pool on top of other swimmers and had all towels in pool none of the adults stopped the kids I stayed in pool maybe 30 minutes and left I saw at least 5 other groups of people walk in and when they seen what was going on went back out the door
- 5/5
Very nice staff! I would definitely come back
- 3/5
The pool looked cool, but we did not swim. It had a weird smell. We were in the extra building. It was clean in our room so that was a plus and it was quiet, but it seemed a little run down. Great location but not much for breakfast restaurants around it. The "free" breakfast at the hotel was not much. We didn't end up eating there because it was busy and the pancake machine was down so our girls wouldn't eat anything they had: sausage links, bagels, everything else was empty. Doubt we would stay again but I know quite a few in our volleyball group stayed there.
- 1/5
Requested a King room when booking. On arrival, they had no kings available, and only had a two doubles room. The room smelled stale, and bedspreads had stains. We did not stay the night.
- 5/5
Not a freshly updated property, but it is clean and in good repair. Employees were very welcoming. Linens were in new condition. Baseboards and bathroom flooring is free of dirt, mold, an over abundance of caulk, etc. Breakfast was ample. Parking is easy.
- 1/5
Ok
- 5/5
Nice overnight stay for a quick getaway.
- 5/5
I believe I've stayed there 3 times over the years. Always seems to fit what I'm doing. Concert, boat stuff, motorcycle trip. . .
- 5/5
Liked the vibe of the hotel. I have started in this chain before and would have liked to see more taxidermy. The fireplaces were great though. The room was much larger than expected and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Loved the fireplace in the room, so cozy.
- 5/5
Bed wasn't very comfortable, shower tub was a little creepy. Other than that, this place is wonderful.
- 5/5
Amazing hot tubs
- 5/5
Faster
- 3/5
Been here before - love the chain! Walked in and 3 counter employees were in a conversation- stood for 2 minutes- finally when asked they said we are busy and don’t do early check ins- no clean towels in swim area
- 5/5
Family friendly environment will be back for sure
- 2/5
In the middle of the night, my debit card got charged $126 for unknown service. I have contacted the hotel numerous times and spoke with the manager and my money is still not on my card. The manager stated on Wednesday the day after my stay that they would do a reverse transaction and apologized yet I still have yet to receive my funds back.
- 5/5
The hotel gave me a sense of peace and relaxation. I felt very safe staying here & the bed was soo comfortable. As a travel nurse comfort & safety is a big deal for me. I will be returning!
- 2/5
There was a small leak in our bathroom. Kids ran aorund the halls all night. We could hear the person next to us snore all night. And the spa tub was out of service. When rate per night is so high and its labeled a Hotel, that was not acceptable. It was clean and very cool atmosphere and the staff was pretty helpful and professional. Underwhelmed.
- 3/5
The hot tub was shut down. Was the main reason why I wanted to come here. There was no notice of it being shut down

Excellent breakfast! Staff was friendly and helpful. Amazing pool with outdoor entry. Too bad the large jacuzzi was out of order.
- 3/5
The room was not clean and we had a high pitch noise all night that sounded like a leaf blower
- 5/5
It was clean and the rooms had everything you need. Iron, ironing board, microwave, refrigerator (which sadly was dirty inside) hair dryer, shampoo etc.. ice bucket, coffee maker, plenty of towels, lots of pillows

Good. Great staff and helpful. Good breakfast. Clean rooms.

We've stayed here several times on rips to Peoria. I like the location and we've always been happy with the service and the room. This trip, they were really busy with several large groups checking in, but they still got our room in a very short time. Also, there were a lot of kids staying here, but we never heard any noise in the hall. Surprisingly quiet for that many people being there.

No body at front desk. lobby looking old and dirty! Window and doors not clean.

The hotel was great altogether. Very clean. The pool was nice and clean.( the jacuzzi hot tub was out of order) Front desk employees and bartender were very nice. Very cute cabin style theme throughout. The only complaints I have were that the breakfast selection was kind of lacking. And the conveyor warmer to warm up bagels and French toast was broken and there was no microwave as a substitute warmer. Also no waffle makers.

Staff was understanding and accomodating. Had to extend our stay a couple of times. They were able to keep us in the same room and even helped when i put the wrong dates into expedia.

Friendly, efficient staff, room was spotless.

The staff is always super friendly. We especially like the bartender.

Way too much fragrance and perfume scent throughout both buildings. When I walked into the lobby to check in I couldn't breathe and about choked. I'm glad I didn't have my husband check in - he is asthmatic and I'm sure his lungs would have immediately closed up. It was the first thing he noticed when we entered the second building to go to our room, which wasn't much better. Also, upon check-in in the lobby, an employee was standing by the front desk vaping, adding to the overwhelming fragrance in the building. We were supposed to have 2 free drinks as a Silver member, but they weren't offered, nor would we have taken them in the bar area with the smell permeating everywhere. We left very early (530AM), before breakfast hours, and I asked about "to-go" breakfast options. They had nothing prepared to go (in bags) and did not offer to get us any fruit or prepackaged items. VERY disappointed, did not feel like a professional location. Will NOT be returning.

A really charming hotel with a cozy lodge atmosphere. The pool was awesome and so was the breakfast! Every staff member was super friendly and welcoming. It was clean and pleasant, we loved everything about the hotel.

We love this place!

I really enjoyed our night here. The room was cute. Super clean and the bed was comfortable. What stood out was the shower. It was by far the best hotel shower I have had. The water pressure was great, but the hot water was amazing. I normally freeze in hotel showers. I love my water HOT. I actually couldn't shower with it turned to all hot. That was a first. Great price. I was checked in in literally less than a minute.

We always stay here when traveling thru after going to SC to see our daughter.

Great helpful employees.

Stoney creek is a nice but older hotel. Clean rooms, nice pool, and a decent breakfast in the mornings. Nice safe area with dining nearby. Weekends are full of kids running around, so just be prepared for noisy hallways. Overall a good value for a no frills stay.

Nice and clean!

Great hotel!! I was not sure about staying here after reading the current reviews but because we enjoyed staying here before, I went for it. We were not disappointed. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant. The pool was clean and warm. The kids especially liked the indoor/outdoor pool and swimming between the two. If you time it right, meal times etc, the pool is quiet and lovely. At busy times there can be a lot of kids and noisy. The hot breakfast was very good and kept stocked. The decor was pleasantly rustic. I would definitely recommend Stony Creek.

I stayed here because they had a hot tub. The hot tub has been empty for a year per staff. I would have never stayed. The website needs to be updated and state there is no working hot tub!

Close to Peoria Civic Center and reasonable prices.

We had a wonderful stay. They always seem short staffed, but the staff there are always so accommodating!!

There was a used condom hanging from the mirror. They moved us rooms with hesitation. I had to tell them I was not staying in a room with a dirty condom with my children in there. They had no idea what it was and tried to take it down! I had to stop them! They are 10,7,3 years old! The pool was dirty, the new room the hot tub was dirty and we found socks in the couch bed along with food!

Went to the pool and there was kids screaming so loud we had to just get out and go do something else. Then all night long there was loud guest could not hardly sleep. The tv channels only about a quarter of them worked. Hot tub was broken after i called in advance and was assured it was 100% working. Breakfast was alright not much to choose from. And they did not put much out there. If you like it loud and out of control this place is 100% for you!!! If you just want to relax don't recommend it.

It was overall okay. Could of been more clean, dirty hallways

I mean, it’s clean I guess. That’s about the best thing I can say about it. Front desk was pretty impersonal and unprofessional. The hot tub is consistently down, the pool cold and overcrowded. Slept in nap intervals due to the constant noise levels in the hallway to the point the people across from us had to yell for people to be quiet. Also, checked 2 different rooms’ smoke detectors and neither had batteries, so that could be an issue in the case of a fire if that’s a concern for you. I’d recommend just about any other hotel in East peoria except this one and a few others.

Only complaint was the hot tub not working. Another guest said it hasn’t worked for a long time. Had a very upset son with Autism who loves hot tubs. This was the main reason I booked this hotel. Everything else was fine.

Clean, beds comfortable. Good customer service. Easy parking.

The entire building had an insanely overpowering smell to it, like they were trying to cover something up. The ceiling in our room had many water stains. The window opened, but had no screen. The parking lot has a ridiculous amount of sink holes. And what set me over the edge, the hot tub is NOT operating! When I booked the room, it listed there was a hot tub, I never received a call informing me of this, and when I checked in they said absolutely nothing about the hot tub being down. It is not posted anywhere in the building that it does not work. We did not know it didn’t work until the morning after we checked in and headed down there. When I talked to the front desk the first people that helped me stated that they have received many complaints about this. The actual front desk person came out and said that if I wasn’t okay with it I should have informed them within the first hour of my stay. This is absolutely unacceptable, as I was NOT informed of this when inconvenience when I checked in! We were here celebrating my Fiancé’s birthday and made the decision to leave a day early due to this. While I was checking out someone else was trying to check in, and they were informed that the room they reserved and had a confirmation number for, was not available and that they did not have any available rooms. I asked the desk if they would be able to clean our room for her, and she said “nope! I have no available rooms, I have no housekeepers here, and I am not cleaning it!” Needl

Carpeting was filthy. Very limit alcohol on a Friday night. Hot tube inoperable. Bed was very soft. Lack of parental controll of kids. Very noisy and the kids pulled the fire alarm. On a positive note, the attendant at the breakfast buffet was a nice helpful gentleman.

Room wasnt ready and had to wait over an hour to check in.
- 2/5
Checked in around 7p and staff was running around saying there were no rooms, after waiting several minutes to check in while 3 staff members were behind the desk talking, got a room that was “just cleaned”. Chips on the carpet and ground in the carpet. Used washcloth still in bathtub. Used kcup in coffee maker. Body wash container was empty.

This was my second stay at this property, and unfortunately, the issue with unsupervised children persists. Both times, the hotel was overrun with them. This visit was particularly disruptive, with kids running, kicking, and banging on guest doors at 2 AM. I'm extremely disappointed by the lack of control and the resulting disturbance.

The staff was very nice i love this hotel can’t wait to stay again.

Hot tub was not operable. My daughter left her necklace we discovered it within an hour of leaving and when we called they aaid theyd check and vall back. We did not receive a phone call and was unable to get through the rest of the day while checking on it. It was a busy weekend and we understand that, a quick call would have been sufficient.

I drove 3 hours with a migraine and the front desk was so kind to say i could check in almost 2 hours early and she was so sweet about me not feeling well. I could tell she was extra quick for me. It was so appreciated.

My daughter loved the heated pool and was amazed at the rustic look tge place has. She is 16 and enjoyed her stay.

I booked the wrong night and you said you would call the hotel to discuss. You did not and I was charged a night that the hotel was willing to cancel. Very poor on your part.

The bed are hard as rock not comfortable at all nice rooom but needs updated to modern things ...

Only thing I didn't like was the hot tub was out of service, but I am sure that is only temporary

Stayed in a double queen bed room. Family of 4. When we arrived to the hotel it had this horrible smell inside. Smelled like something was burnt. When checking in there was a staff member who was cussing a lot behind the desk. Room was small. Beds did not look like queens. Looked more like full. Bathroom counter was not convenient for a family of 4. Paneling around door frame was loose. The carpet on stairs had salt all over them. Looks like staff never swept them. We were there for 2 nights/3days. Hot tub was not available. Super disappointed. Breakfast - not horrible but not great. Not very many choices. Would not stay there again.
