The rooms were very clean and the staff were very helpful. The room we booked had a leak .it happens... they promptly moved us to another room.

Vacuuming after 1 am.

Got woke up at 1:30 am to vacuuming running and foot steps stomping upstairs above us.

Sub-par. You can only pull in from one direction. Large hole in ceiling near our room with large bucket and stained molding rug underneath. Room small and beds uncomfortable. We were there 2 nights and never got maid service. Even our dog didn’t like it. She wouldn’t sleep at night. She would only sleep in the car during the day when we took her out for the day. No amenities-not even a hair dryer. Couldn’t get the TV to turn off or change stations.

The bathroom floor and tub was not cleaned properly. Hair in the tub and on the floor. Dirt smudges were on the floor as well. It's a good thing that I clean my room everywhere I go but I'm disappointed that I have to clean after the last person.

This is a cheap room. The gross bathroom ceiling, hairs in the shower, and lackluster breakfast was underwhelming.

The parking lot was really dirty and was full of sketchy people lurking around. I did not feel the most safe staying in this location. Will not be back.

For the price, it was better than I thought. I couldn't afford more at the time. Friendly check in. Had a fridge and microwave in the room. Had a few decent "breakfast" options which was unexpected. Two long women's hairs on the pillows -hoping from cleaning crew as everything else seemed clean-pillows were thin and discombobulated. No coffee pot in the room, however offered during breakfast hours.

This was a basic stay we needed while attending our son’s state track meet. It was enough and acceptable. No frills but a good place to lay our heads down. Lots of options in the area so it was a good situation.

Location was close to the venue and family. Visited Tres Rojas winery, etc. Non-smoking room. Thin walls. There was a microwave in the room which could have been why it smelled like fish or some kind of fried oil. Other than that the common areas were nice and clean.

Staff was rude, there were bugs in our room and when we were ready to check out there was nobody at the desk and after we rang the bell on the desk and still after 20 minutes there was nobody there. We left the the key on the counter.

No bugs noted but there were hairs by the sink and on linens. Breakfast was very limited. Not the worst but also not the best.

The bed was made but the sheets had not been changed. You could tell they had been slept on and there were black hairs on the sheets. Disgusting! I left!

This property was rated good and had some good reviews I was just there for the night so thought that it looked safe and clean by the pictures and reviews. It was old with lots of door and wall damage and the hallways were filthy. The room itself seemed clean enough but the condition of the doors and walls were a sign it was maybe not. One of the pillows was filthy and I found human hair everywhere.

Did not partake in continental breakfast. No coffee maker or hairdryer in room. Refrigerator worked well and TV/channel options were sufficient. Booked online and was just ocer 80 dollars per night. close to restaurants, shopping, gas stations, casino, Peoria Civic Center.

Hotel was walking distance from a lot of different shopping centers, restaurants, ect. Hotel rooms itself, walked in and the room smelt like smoke, went down to let the staff know and he refused to let us switch rooms. Hotel rooms floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned, floor was sticky, ash residue on the counter, sink sprayed out when you turned it on.

Place has no inviting atmosphere If you are traveling with a group dont plan on meeting up for togather time as they put chairs on tables after the minimal thing they call breakfast.So there is NO place for anyone to visit like most hotels.No coffeee maker or any thing else we have come to expect in a room. The lobby was beyond clean.It sparkled. But as far as properties its subpar.The staff is nice but cant do anything about owners only doing bear minimum to make you want to come back.Not sure we will be back.

The Property is in a good location close to Civic center. The place is clean, the staff is responsive, and they have a basic continental breakfast. This is a great stay for the price.

The room was clean for the most part despite the appearance throughout the hallways. I was a bit skeptical but it served the overall purpose. I was only in town for a night. Toiletries were subpar and the water backed up in the sink. The Jed was comfortable.

The bed frame really needs a s rib, the bumpy mattress needs to be replaced. Beds need a comforter not just a thin blanket. Wouldn't stay here again.

The first room they put us in was musty, hot, had a smell, and was missing the deadbolt latch on the door. However, when we communicated our concerns with the staff, they were friendly and willing to give us a different room that was better. Breakfast was mediocre, it was just pre-packaged processed foods available. The bed and pillows were the most uncomfortable I’ve ever felt in my whole life! Staff was spraying air freshener in the hallways. Not an incredible stay, but still accommodating.

The place was clean nothing special but thats what i paid for! Parking lot very well lite! Roomwas tidy and had what was advertised! 3 night stay worked out for me and my wife! Convenient stores and restaurants!

They ask for a $100 deposit and to be returned 1 week if a card is used. It's weird.

Woke in the middle of the night to find cockroaches in the room. Managed to get a picture of one on the bathroom mirror. Toilet was not connected to the floor. Told the guy at the desk and shower him the picture. He said the manager would be in contact- a week later and i still haven't heard anything. I also canceled the 2nd night I had booked and they did not refund me for it.

The condition of the hotel itself was fine at best, and the staff did next to nothing to address other guests blaring music until 5 am or crying out in pain.

Clean, bare-bones room, comfortable bed, good water pressure in shower & very good wi-fi ( No carpet or pictures on the walls, no alarm clock or coffee maker). Breakfast was two kinds of sweetened cereal, instant oatmeal, packaged muffins, bananas, boiled eggs, juice, coffee & tea. Walls are very thin, so noisy neighbors on our hall were loud, but staff reminded them of quiet hours.

BED BUGS. The bed protectors didn't zip closed. Mattresses pulled away from the wall. Me and my friends have several bed bug bites. Drawing on the lamp shades. Holes in the wall. Wasn't aware of the security deposit. But that's my fault for not reading everything on the website. Was cut a deal for not knowing. I asked for a refund for the bed bugs and was told I had to wait for the manager to come in. Never received any sort of contact or refund. I paid 86 dollars to sleep with bugs.

What they call breakfast is cold cereal, hostess muffins and granola bar so just be prepared.

A lot of drug addicts will sit down outside in the parking lot it's obvious they are high but the hotel did nothing about getting rid of them

I stay at a lot of pet friendly, less expensive hotels. This Best Value Inn is one of the cleanest I've ever stayed in. Room climate responded to adjustments (yay). Staff was friendly and helpful. Skip the lobby breakfast. Very easy on/off interstate.

Ac sucked had to set it down to 61 just to get it to run,( 84 degrees outside) group of people arguing and screaming most of the night, was told by front desk he had called the room twice and was gonna involve police. Area and parking lot was very sketchy, groups of people just hanging out smoking pot.

Location was great. Front desk staff were fine. The room appeared clean, but I took a shower and walked out to get dressed and the soles of my feet were filthy, I mean REALLY dirty. The gap around the hallway door was very large, all way around, and the security latch was missing. I discovered that many of the hotel guests are using this facility as long term housing. This fact did not bother me, however, the lack of sufficient cleanliness was very discouraging.

This is where i stay, every time i'm in town....just a mile away fr Par-A-Dice casino (my destination each visit for its well run table games)....very welcoming motel, for the tidiness, comfort, quietness and easy location....terrific staff, always helpful!

No frills saves you bills. Some things have been updated such as the exterior, lobby, and floors in the room. Good bye to icky carpet in the room. But now the carpet in the hallway needs to be replaced and a little paint here and there. Friendly and helpful staff. Don't expect too much for breakfast but remember, you are saving money staying here.

Building is old but clean and appears to have fresh paint and updates recently, don’t the exterior be the deciding factor. Beds are comfortable, updated fixtures, friendly staff. Their continental breakfast consisted of two different kinds of cereal, a few granola bars, and two boiled eggs. There was also poop on the back of our bathroom door in our room.

America's Best Value Inn was in a decent area and easy to get to with a clean exterior. The front desk person was nice and helpful. The lobby was also bright and clean. However, the room was not the best, even for the price. It was fairly clean but had stained furniture. The room itself wasn't terrible, but the whole place had a thick smoke/weed smell, even though its allegedly a "smoke free" hotel. It unfortunately made me nauseous very quickly, and I had to stay somewhere else. I checked out shortly after checking in. I also had a pet with me and didn't want to risk staying there with him. If you're okay with that kind of smell, this place is probably a good deal and fit for you. I personally wasn't going to be able to stay there the couple nights I booked.

When we went to our first rooms we were struck by the stench of marijuana smoke (despite the hotel having a no smoking policy) and people screaming at each other. It felt very unsafe. We had to go ask for different rooms and we were moved upstairs - there is no elevator so had to carry all our luggage up the stairs but at least it seemed like a safer space. The rooms were fine, comfy beds and decent showers. Breakfast was lackluster - some cereal and packaged foods.

While the room was obviously older, with a heavy emphasis on patch work, it was very clean and the bathroom was sparkling clean. Our room door was a bit squeaky, but I’ve had worse. The price made this stay a winner in my books. The front desk staff was excellent and very, very helpful. Will stay here again if I’m ever passing through.

This property is exactly what they advertise. Simple basic clean comfortable. Good bed. Remodeled. Friendly. Easy eats around the corner. This is my new go to motel for work related activities.

There were bugs in my room. St never even attempted to check them out. Outlets and lights broken. Refrigerator didn't work. My room wasn't cleaned even once. No one addressed my concerns. There were guest climbing in and out windows. The trash was picked up around 630 am and grass cut at 8 am. An overall fail.

I love this little place. The rooms are small but clean, and the beds are beyond comfortable(I sleep so well). Most of all, the price. It is priced so reasonable. I’m here for business. I have a clean comfortable place to sleep. I can not ask for and do not need more.

It's was overall a decent stay for the price.

The place was exactly what we expected. The lobby was spotless. The hallways were outdated. BUT…our room was wonderful. The bathroom was clean and updated. The flooring was all new. The beds were very comfortable. Most importantly the AC worked like a champ on the first hot weekend of the summer. I only marked less than 5 stars based on room for improvement in common areas. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it if just needing a clean, simple room.

For a budget hotel, this was excellent! Clean room, super comfy bed. Breakfast was fine. (who gets a great breakfast in a budget hotel?) They had cold eggs, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, juice and coffee. It is close to family for us and we will stay again. Lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

very budget appropriate/friendly for me- light breakfast offered- great staff ( manager Gil, attendant Sam and the rest of the crew ) ; very close to a lot of stores, like food chain, grocery, and a gasoline station , (-) 10 minutes away from Bradley University , walk in shower , only 2 floors ( no elevator ) - every time we visited Peoria for the past 4 years -> we have stayed here and enjoyed every time during our stay.

I am very picky about hotels but we were in East Peoria for the state track and field championship and the other hotels around were already booked. The outside looked a little sketchy but once we walked in the door the lobby was very clean. It has no frills at all, however the staff were very friendly and as I said everything was spotless. We stayed in room 209 in a 2 double-bed room and the room was very small yet very clean. I have been in hotel rooms that looked very old and outdated, yet clean, but this was not one of them. You can tell it has been recently updated. It was clean and it was quiet. I was thoroughly impressed. When we come for the state championship again next year this is where we'll stay because the price is very low and it checks off every box for a clean place to sleep and shower.

There was so much good woth this place and I wish that I could leave it at that but there was judt as much bad...the carpets looked blood stained leading to your room. The smell of weed in the place was thick, I got high on fumes, they even seeped under the door to delight my allergies all night. The room was supposed to be for 4 people but the beds were for one person. The room was barely big enough to walk past each other and there's one socket in the room that does nothing!! Other than that, it was just perfect

The Good-Close to the civic center, next to gas station and food, clean, fair priced, had micro and fridge, staff was onsite and available. The Not-So-Good - The walls are a little thin so you hear more than you want to from the halls and neighboring rooms and the room door had about a 2" gap from door to floor (bigger than normal). The Not-So-Good can be overlooked for the price, quality of hotel, and cleanliness. I would stay here again.

We had a great stay, lobby was very clean and nice, the Front Desk Agent was also very kind, and helpful. The room was very clean and smelled great. Nice size shower and everything worked as it should. The bed was extremely comfortable too. We were fairly close to a busy road but the outside noises were not bad at all. I slept Great! Definitely recommend for a nice easy stay.

Very sketchy location, very sketchy people hanging around. we only stayed here for a quick night away to go clubbing, the ratings online are much nicer than they should be. it felt like a very dirty prison. our room had tissues stuck in the peep hole as well as a ton of big crumbs all over the floor. on the way back to the motel from the bars, our uber driver said “i don’t think you guys know where you’re staying”. sadly, we did. and we regret it. for how pricey this room actually was, we should have just spent a little more for a nice hotel across the river. would have been WELL worth it.
