The room was nice. But the loud air conditioning unit in the closet combined with the TV that just didn’t work right wrecked the stay. These issues are not new issues. The tv is programmed wrong and won’t shut off. Combined with the loud noise from the locked closet kept us all up all night.

Staff was very pleasant. Confusion at checking in regarding booked cost and no notice of room request made prior to stay. All worked out eventually. Iron had only high heat, nearly ruined clothes. Definitely needs to be replaced. No clock in room.

I liked the fireplace & grill No air conditioning it was broke, there was bugs in the pull out beds & the towels.

Fantastic staff—professional, friendly, and genuine. The hotel is very clean and has everything we need, including internet, TV, a living area, and a kitchenette. The breakfast is wonderful, with a wide variety of options, and I especially appreciated that oat milk is available since I cannot drink regular milk. We also traveled with our dog, and the hotel is very pet-friendly, offering plenty of walking areas as well as a dog station with bags and a designated dog-walking area.

Clean room, though a bit small for a 1 bedroom. There was a nice breakfast in the morning and the pool/gym looked nice, though i didnt use it. Overall great stay!

Been here several times in last decade Consistently good stay.

Also, what is with your charging for WiFi??? That's bizarre and shocking! Thanks.

Very disappointed we selected this hotel. The pool was freezing cold and you could not swim in it. When we spoke to the front desk they advised that management was aware of complaints from the week prior about the pool temperature so it’s disappointing that this had not been addressed. Our shower in our room was also not working and cold. We were staying with a group and showered in another room and could tell a clear difference. We will select another hotel next time. Breakfast was good and rooms are spacious but when there are other options in the area is go with.

First time at a Residence Inn great experience

Breakfast was good except no coffee. The person working in the breakfast area was very rude she stood in front of the food area so we had to get around her. Also, we told her there was no coffee and she just stared at us.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The spiders in the room. I killed about three spiders during my overnight stay. One was even in my bed and crawled on my child. It made the stay slightly uncomfortable.

The property, room and staff were great., Excellent morning breakfast. The problem with the stay was the fact that at 12:30 am that night the fire alarm went off and everyone had to go outside. We were able to stay in our cars to stay warm as it was in the 30's BUT we were outside for 2 hours before they found the problem. No fire, just a problem with the alarm system = they couldn't turn it off. I wouldn't have given it such a low rating but it's now been three weeks and there has been no evidence that they will compensate us for the loss of sleep. We went to the hotel to enjoy a good night's sleep while traveling. Lack of consideration by the hotel to even attempt some sort of consideration will keep me from staying at a Marriott Inn in the future.
- 5/5
Even while under construction, staff was wonderful and facilities were wonderful.
- 1/5
Terrible. Undergoing renovation. Notified me 2 days in advance of this. There appears to be permanent residents living there in approximately 4 of the units. They were fighting, left their laundry in the laundry room for most of the day occupying all of the machines. They treated the entire 2nd floor as if it were their own poorly maintained home. There is too much for me to post. Horrible experience!

Very clean, staff incredible Beds were terrible. Didn't sleep well, woke up sore. They were not comfortable at all No king beds available, not good... 2 adults in a queen, no room

I loved how it was tucked away off the highway so nice area where I could walk my dog. Well, it was under construction and I had read that they were working on the pool and the exercise area, but I had no idea that the whole lobby and hallways were just totally ripped apart and under construction and there was no breakfast area in the lobby. They had a sweet upstairs where they had breakfast set up, which was fine. I was disappointed that they didn’t give any kind of break for all the construction that was going on I mean, not even carpeting and some of the hallways. Just surprised that they have stayed open during construction, but I guess they’ve been under construction since March, I was disappointed that they didn’t give any kind of break for all the construction that was going on I mean, not even carpeting and some of the hallways. Just surprised that they have stayed open during construction, but I guess they’ve been under construction since March. The front desk gal said it would be it would all be done in a couple weeks. I highly doubt it. There was much more to do! So if you’re really hoping for a pool and work out and a nice area to have breakfast, this is probably not your spot. And the price for a dog I thought was pretty hefty… $75.

The hotel is is undergoing renovations and the hot breakfast was in a regular room. It wasn’t very good.
- 2/5
Most of the parking spaces were fenced off for the renovations. The Internet was "free" only if you were a club member or became one. The last resident inn we stayed at in PA was far better. I don't travel much as I used to but this was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. Oh, with all the renovations and inconveniences it was still the same or more in cost than nearby hotels'
- 5/5
It was grear experience the hotel staff were wonderful and they accommodate our needs for our son who has special needs.
- 1/5
I wouldn't come here if you're trying to trust a hotel to be ready when you're there, on time, wanting nothing more than rest and comfort. Barely no staff, hot tub never seems to be available for use and it's more of a smaller.. older, hotel, that needs to be remodeled. Smells musty.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Staff we friendly and helpful What more could you hope for 😃
- 1/5
Stay was terrible. Room had maintenance issues that staff was aware of before renting to me. Such a disgusting experience
- 4/5
Overall was good. They are doing work during the day so there is a lot of banging around. WiFi was horrible. Even after doing the upgrade. Confirmed it on three different devices.
- 3/5
Nothing
- 5/5
Peaceful, kind staff, clean
- 5/5
The staff was absolutely amazing. Every person we interacted with was super pleasant, helpful, and made our trip that much nicer.
- 2/5
Pro: the staff were excellent, great customer service and very welcoming. Cons: the sofa bed had a rip, a mysterious stain and the mattress was so thin you could feel all the coils. The pool water felt questionable in that we wondered if it was treated with any chlorine at all and we were worried we'd pick up an infection after swimming it in (we made sure to shower afterwards and scrub our kids clean). The breakfast was unappealing, the scrambled eggs seemed simultaneously under cooked and over cooked. However, everything worked, check in and out was smooth, it was easy to find off the highway and made for a convenient place to sleep during our road trip.
- 3/5
- trash from previous guests was not taken out - no bed linens available in the room for sleeper sofa, even though in the reservation I mentioned that our party consists of three adults. We had to go to front desk and ask for it. - limited amount of towels, not enough for 3 adults - unpalatable breakfast - problems with plumbing in the room.
- 2/5
One manager was rude. Staff were courteous
- 4/5
Clean and average accommodations. Staffing shortage caused us a late checkin due to room availability. Staff was friendly, just short handed.
- 5/5
It was a great suite and more than enough for our overnight stay. Property included many features we would have taken advantage of if we stayed longer!
- 4/5
1 night family trip. Pros: excellent, safe location. Front desk staff very quick and friendly. Room was clean, living space was spacious. Cons: Bedroom was very small, very little space to move around the bed. Room could use some TLC, paint chipping, ac/heat vent was clearly coming off on ceiling and when it kicks on it is VERY loud. Bed- absolutely not comfortable and the pillows were practically flat. If you are on the bottom floor, be prepared to hear lots of noise if children are upstairs. Breakfast was decent hotel breakfast. It is fine for a quick trip, but not sure it was worth the price.
- 5/5
Staff was awesome! Very friendly. Morning breakfast was excellent. The only item that should be fixed - all suites should have a king sized bed versus a std queen. Would make it more comfortable. Other than that - will definitely stay there again!
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Good food. Hot tub wasn't working, but other than that It was a great experience.
- 5/5
Overall, good. There was no shower gel on the room, however.
- 4/5
If your looking for a quiet, safe and comfortable place to recharge from a busy workday than this is the hotel for you. The staff is friendly. The surroundings beautiful. And the amenities are on point.
- 5/5
Very accommodating staff and a great breakfasts

Great
- 4/5
Friendly staff and a great place to stay for a day or a few. The room and surrounding property was very clean. I have no complaints to give.
- 5/5
This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It is on the older side but it was clean and well maintained. The pool did need to be updated but it was a nice size pool. The breakfast was great, had a good selection of breakfast food. Will definitely be staying there again!
- 3/5
sink clogged, not so much fruit option at breakfast, printer doesn't work, bathroom ventilation doesn't work as well

This review is for Residence inn East Greenbush NY. It was myself, my best friend and our 2 children. Upon walking in to the lobby area I smelled a heavy chlorine odor and that should have been an indication of what was to come but instead I discounted it as the pool must be close . We went to our room got changed and decided to take a dip in the pool immediately, after all that is what the kids were looking forward to most of all. Immediately my eyes started to burn . I thought maybe I was experiencing some sort of sensitivity since I have not been swimming in a while. My godson who's birthday it happened to be, which was the reason for our visit. A nice evening of relaxing in the hotel suite and to swim in the pool since that's his favorite thing to do. Also just to spend some quality time together as a family as I work two jobs. My Godson is a 9 year old autistic young boy who happens to have asthma. His breathing became so labored because of the heavy chlorine , that he started coughing, couldn't catch his breath and his mother had to rush him to the room to use his inhaler. My daughter who does not have asthma could only stand about 2 more minutes before we both ran out of the pool area. For the remainder of the night my chest hurt and my breathing felt labored .My daughter was sick all evening waking up and eventually vomiting all over herself and bed room. I never recieved an apology or follow up from hotel staff. Families beware of the health and saftey risk.
- 4/5
Thank you.
- 3/5
First of all the staff was great, very friendly and responsive. The property itself was dated and in need of an upgrade. The icemaker did not work, a dresser drawer fell out and almost broke my foot, no exhaust fan in bathroom. There were no USB ports in suite (in a hotel on Tech Valley Drive). Great people, great location, needs investment.
- 5/5
Awesome stay great staff
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Great place to stay and kid friendly! I am very happy with our visit. Only problem we encountered but not really a problem, other guest weren’t respectful of the pool area leaving there mess. Other than that staff was great, rooms were great. I’m very happy
- 2/5
Stayed there a few times for business, all very nice. This time awoken at about 1230 am by pumping noise called front desk, was told there should be nothing making noise and would be checked into. Noise stopped started again after a bit. Called front desk again was told too busy to look into. Noise changed to an off balance clothes washer bumping sound. Called front desk again was told there was a clothes washing area but no policy on hours of use. Had to change rooms, wondering if I will stay there again as it is a hotel not a laundry mat.
- 2/5
First and foremost, the staff was very friendly and just as helpful as they could be. It was very apparent that this place was lacking in leadership from upper management. They seemed understaffed and overwhelmed. The entry way and front lobby were visibly dirty and a bit run down, the hallways and elevator appeared to have not been vacuumed in some time. Also there was a strong odor of Marijuana in the hallways. The room was clean enough however was missing some amenities, that were easily obtained by going to the front desk. The real disappointment, aside from the unkempt common areas, was the bathroom. The tub/shower didn’t drain properly so you were left standing in several inches of dirty water that was backing up from the drain and even worse yet was when we came in from a long day out and went to bathe our children and had no hot water to do so. I’m pretty surprised that Marriott has its name on this place. We will be looking elsewhere for a place to stay next time we’re in town.
- 5/5
Our experience was wonderful! After a 12 hour drive from NC to Buffalo and then a 5 hour trip from Buffalo to East Greenbush with a family of 4 and a dog, we were welcomed by hotel staff warmly. The hotel was very clean and well maintained inside and out. Our room was spacious and very clean. We did find that our refrigerator smelled very strongly like fish. Probably from the last guest. Not a huge deal. We were hoping for a rollaway bed to be available as we have 2 teenage boys who couldn't share the small pull out sofa bed. So they took turns on the floor. When we booked there were no 2 bedroom suites available. However it was only a small inconvenience. The staff at the front desk were gracious enough to keep the pool open later so that we would have time to swim and relax after the long trip. Our boys enjoyed playing basketball and of course the pool. We are very very happy with our stay and will absolutely book there again in the future when we come back to visit friends and family. Thank you Residence Inn by Marriott for making us feel at home while away from home.
- 3/5
While the staff were lovely, this was the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at: barking dogs, people partying in their rooms with the door open, the heating system sounding like an engine. The hotel wasn’t very clean in any of the common areas, and it wasn’t possible to get an extra towel.
- 5/5
Great location and staff was very helpful. The room was spacious and great for a small family.
- 5/5
Enjoyed the stay very much. Disappointed spa tub wasn't working and no mention of it when booking.
- 5/5
The property was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly. I chose for its proximity to I-90 which is good, but due to the location off a traffic circle and in the woods (nice in the morning) with insufficient street lighting it was hard to find. A better sign visible in the dark would be helpful along with a sign in the rotary.
- 4/5
Very clean, reasonably priced. And they had fresh coffee with milk
- 3/5
Close to shopping and work for the week I thought some of the staff at this location were smug and not very friendly
- 4/5
Bed comfort mediocre, woken up at 9:15-9:30 am by an overzealous personnel asking what time I am checking out (check out time 12 pm, put appropriate sign on the door handle from the night before), place clean, sound travels from one room to the other
- 5/5
We had a great stay. Very clean and staff was friendly
- 5/5
I always choose Marriott because I know I will have a clean comfortable stay
- 5/5
This was a week long business trip with multiple rooms. The live music, happy hours, dinners and breakfasts were a huge help to my very tired group of hard workers. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay
- 4/5
Good trip
- 4/5
The room was spacious, well-maintained, and clean.
- 5/5
Basically just slept while there, clean & quiet, no complaints whatsoever, would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
What's a cold day the room was extra toasty clean and comfortable. John ran the front desk that shift and he was extra informative the great personality
- 4/5
The bed was too small. When I reserved the room it was listed as eithe a queen or king
- 5/5
The room was clean and the property was well kept.
- 5/5
the Inn was clean ;nicely decorated comfortable convenient. Helped us enjoy family wedding.
- 4/5
Breakfast was wonderful, the staff isn’t as “cheery” as I’ve experienced in other hotels
- 5/5
the studio was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable!
- 5/5
It's a wonderful place with a great staff. I'd live there if I could. The complimentary breakfast is wonderful! Being able to cook there is such an asset. The fireplace is cozy. Accessing Netflix on the remote is another plus!
- 4/5
The accommodations and staff were excellent. The only negative was that our room had a damp smell.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and comfortable, quiet hotel . We enjoyed out stay
- 5/5
The place is spotless. The desk managers are polite and pleasant and very helpful. Would definitely plan on this being my Albany go to !
- 1/5
No rooms were available at arrival.
- 5/5
Very quiet, nice peaceful location, staff very accommodating for using the patio for a party.
- 3/5
Overall good but the week I stayed there was a wedding party in the outdoor sitting/bbq area until 1am and I was adjacent room overlooking. I didn't mind until about 11:30pm, then I called @ 12am, could not get hold of front desk, tried twice. Called back 20 mins later, someone answered, they apologized, said they would try to take care of it, but people stayed another 30 mins.
- 2/5
Loud room next to me until about 230am each nigjt
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean, quiet, and the bed was very comfortable!
- 5/5
Good location, friendly and courteous staff, affordable price, overall very good experience!
- 5/5
Stay was terrific. Room clean and comfortable. Service was great
- 5/5
It was a beautiful place with great service
- 5/5
I was camping with my two girls at the GS ISO Camp, and as my husband birrhday was during the camping we decided that he, my son and my mom stay at the Residence Inn Hotel. They had a great time. We visited them on my husband birthday and all off us had a winderful time. The room was very spacious and have a great design that allowed my mother to have the privacy she needed The pool and hot tub were excellent kept. The staff super efficient and very friendly. We defenitly recommend it.
- 5/5
Overall hotel was quiet and very comfortable. Would stay there again without question.
- 4/5
So, this was a last minute booking and while the hotel was nice, there were a couple of weird issues. First, the tissue box in the bathroom was soaking wet inside the decorative case. Second, when I arrived the hotel had my reservation but claimed they had not been paid and were going to double charge me (Thanks Hotels.com for the fast assistance). Third, the hotel staff at one point put up a "be back in 5 minutes " sign and then disappeared for almost 2 hours! This location would probably never be my first choice.
- 5/5
What a wonderful property. The room was spacious and very clean. My daughter and I really enjoyed the pool. Best hotel find for a family!!
- 4/5
expensive
- 5/5
Nice set up when traveling with pets. Lots of restaurants and shops in immediate area. Breakfast had great healthy choices. Would stay again.

Overall the hotel was great. Pleasant hotel staff, clean facilities, clean room and accommodating.
- 5/5
Had an amazing time. Great Staff
- 4/5
This was our first time staying here. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The plumbing was a little sketchy but overall it was a great stay and we would stay here again.
- 5/5
The staff really went out of their way to make us comfortable.
- 5/5
I loved this hotel it was my first time staying in the area the staff was super friendly
- 4/5
Very clean and comfortable rooms with amenities for longer stays.
- 5/5
We were very happy with this hotel! The desk staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and really, really big. Lot's of room and included a couch, chair, table, and large kitchenette including a stove, microwave, dishwasher and full size fridge. Wished we had more time on our trip to hang out in the room. It was that nice. Will definitely stay here on our next trip to Albany.
- 4/5
Really friendly, helpful staff. Rooms were on the large side (I had a "studio") with cable TV and fully outfitted kitchen (meaning, full size refrigerator/dishwasher/microwave, small cooktop, and enough dishes/pots/utensils to have a dinner party for four people).
- 4/5
THE WALLS ARE NOT SOUNDPROOF. e.g., next door neighbor snored loudly all night & were noisy overall late at night. - bring ear plugs. Room layout is great. Excellent location -set back from highway.
- 5/5
The location was convenient to getting on the highway for a short trip to the Capitol and major shopping areas. I wish I had had time to enjoy the pool and gym.
- 4/5
We spent one Saturday night in February at this Residence Inn. We were very pleased with the hotel itself. The one complaint would be about the noise generated by a large group of children staying at the hotel, perhaps for a sporting event. The parents should have been in control and they were not. We did not call the hotel front desk, so I cannot fault them. The noise went on until after midnight, and I remedied the problem by turning on the microwave fan to drown out the kids. The bedding, kitchen, and living area were very nice. The only physical problem was that our towel rack located above the toilet actually fell INTO the toilet when we removed a towel. We did not put any pressure on the towel bar, but it was obviously very loose. It did provide some laughs. We reported it to the management when we checked out.
- 5/5
The hustle and bustle of the holiday season was overwhelming for us. We booked a stay here, which was only 12 miles from home. We stayed in the studio room with our dogs. We had friends come and join us for pool and jacuzzi fun. We all returned to the room for some guitar playing and singing. The kitchen was perfect for heating and serving snacks. Living room was spacious enough to accommodate 6 adults. When they left we watched a movie. Breakfast was sensational! Fantastic mini- vacations!!!
- 5/5
Ten days on a business trip - really great support from the staff - able to get me great business facilities with very short notice - comfortable too
- 4/5
The furniture was very used and needs updating. Housekeeping was also not up to par(cobwebs, dirty stove etc.) Staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was great.
