The staff are terrific, the rooms are spacious, gorgeous and extremely comfortable. It gave us both a feeling of calm and joy to be immersed in rooms where everything: the beautiful woodwork, proportions, furniture, fabrics and decor were fine Arts and Crafts pieces. Really an extraordinary place!

Honestly, one of the most charming places I have stayed! Super helpful, friendly staff and such a cozy atmosphere. I did some work on my laptop in the lobby area listening to jazz and having tea in one of their rocking chairs. Absolutely full of history and art in the middle of a little Hallmark movie town. Extremely walkable, well maintained, charming inn.

From checking in to checking out every Staff member was truly helpful, courteous, professional and service oriented. Facilities are beautiful, well maintained, functional and comfortable! Food is top notch, which makes dining a memorable and gastronomic experience. The Bar and cocktail choices. Including very impressive wine list and non alcoholic beverages focused on Something for everyone. Thank you for a delightful stay.

The Roycroft Inn is a nice older history laden inn, and fine if that is your cup of tea. The very things that we were not happy with, small bathroom, too many stairs to our room, distance from the guest rooms to our small room, almost empty ice chest, etc., may well be offset by the friendly people at the front desk, the polished old wood, and the fairly comfortable bed. It is like a bed and breakfast on colonial steroids.

Loved everything about the place, except the breakfast. While there was hot bagels and engliah muffins. I would expect a hot breakfast from such a nice fancy place. No scrambled eggs or pancakes or french toast or bacon. Still loved the stay!

There was a gas leak when we arrived. The hotel never notified us prior to arrival and we were offered a sub-par room. They did however send us to a neighboring hotel that ended up costing a substantial amount more than we were expecting to pay.

We stayed in the Guest Villas. We had a great room, from the turn of the 20th century, that had all the amenities, and then some, with the inclusion of a "family"/"meeting" area for several adjacent rooms. We will definitely stay here again given our recent experience. AAA +++

The restaurant, however, is a disappointment, with underheated precooked ship and grits as dinner entry, and the waiting was very long, even though it was not a busy night (Tuesday). Perhaps there was not a chef in charge in the kitchen? I will not go back for dinner as part of the Roycroft Inn experience. A pity, I must say.

The physical property itself was quite remarkable. Unfortunately the staff failed to realize just how important this historic property is to the community. Our room itself was beautiful and well looked after. The dining room was filthy, lots of soiled tablecloths, dirty silverware and dishes mixed with clean. People at front desk in the morning were loud, discussing inappropriate things about guests and housekeeping with no decorum or respect to the inns grand history. It is truly a showplace property that is not being managed as one.

I was very disappointed that there was no place to sit inside or outside on a comfortable chair. The lobby had a funeral party and there were table and chairs for dining everywhere else in the hotel. The party should not be allowed to take over the place where the guests who are staying there have no place to go and relax.

The Roycroft is a historic hotel in a small village with a lot of shops and restaurants. It was very clean and in a nice neighborhood. We stayed a week. Overall stay was good. Only complaints would be lack sufficient outlets in the room, no coffee maker in the room, air conditioner was very loud, and difficulty finding a parking space on the weekend. They have a lot dedicated to hotel guests, but they don't enforce the parking rules. Restaurant goers on the weekend occupy the hotel guest spaces.

Was in town for my son's sporting event and when I mentioned we would have to leave earlier than the breakfast started, they offered to get it ready a bit early for us. So nice, and it was a great breakfast! Will absolutely stay here next time I am in the area.

Our stay at the Roycroft Inn was impromptu but will leave a lasting impression! We had a four room suite and were taken aback at how big it was. We found the Roycroft to have amazing value for what we paid. A continental breakfast was a pleasant addition to our stay. The spread included muffins, pastries, cereal, yogurt, juice, hard boiled eggs, bagels, fruit, bread for toasting, and a few other quick bites. The breakfast area was gorgeous and filled with light coming in from the giant windows. The sitting area by the check in desk was also very serene, in quite a literary way. We’re only an hour away, so we will definitely be back for a quick weekend stay!

My friends and I chose East Aurora as a base to stay while in the area for a Bills game as an alternative to staying in crumbling Buffalo as we'd done in the past. We booked a couple of rooms at the Roycroft Inn and we couldn't have been happier with our choice... The rooms are decorated consistent with the inn's character and I heard that the pull-out couch was comfortable with memory foam as well. While we did get a couple of chances to walk around the neighborhood a little bit to see the sights (the newish Marta's Market up the road for sandwiches and beer was outstanding), because of the snow, we spent a great deal of our time inside the hotel property. We had dinner at the restaurant, Sunday brunch at the restaurant (outstanding value for brunch complete with string quartet), we had drinks at the bar, and we enjoyed the included continental breakfast our last morning before heading out. At every turn, the highlight here was the people. This place has done an excellent job assembling a friendly crew of characters from the front desk staff, waiters, waitresses, bartender - amazing all around. My one bit of advice to future guests is to try and find time for the lesser-used parts of the hotel especially the lounge in front of the front desk. Beautiful furniture and paintings adorn that room and it's worth bringing a drink down from the bar or grabbing a coffee and enjoying that space. Available pamphlets explain the history. A very memorable stay.

Great place to stay in East Aurora, WNY. Very vintage, but an absolute experience! We stayed while the lake snow effect occurred, and it turned out to be a winter wonderland!! The Inn’s restaurant and buffet were amazing! Staff were hospitable and helpful. The Inn was walking distance to great restaurants. It was in the middle of a safe and quaint neighborhood, reminded me of a picture on a holiday Christmas card. Highly recommend to stay here!!

The Roycroft Inn most definitely has character and offers a slight Frank Lloyd Wright vibe. Very conveniently located to village and a pleasant spot for a stay.

A really beautiful property in a lovely town. Came to visit friends and go to a game and the Roycroft couldn't have been a better "home base". Room was wonderful and the on site bar and restaurant were a lovely bonus.

First time to area and to the Inn. We loved both and plan to come again. Loved the nostalgia of the area and the Inn. Just a few suggestions...change coffee vendor. not good. Rooms were very clean; just the ceiling vent covered in cobwebs.Restrooms could use a shelf orsometing for more counter space. Besides that, we will be recommending to others!

Pristine condition in an old world style. Even the outside shake shingles, which are hard to maintain, we're impeccable. The refuse cans were Roycroft wood covered. Complete immersion in wood and craftsmanship.
