The room I had was neat. The bathroom shower head was held on by duct tape and came off while showering. There was no maintenance person on the premise. The only option was to move to another room. The AC unit was exposed and very dusty. You had to wash your own line. there was no replacement linens no replacement towels and you had to have your own toilet trees, including toilet paper. There was no phone and no remote to the TV. The cable was not cable. The channels didn’t match the shows that we’re being seen checked out a day early.

It was nice enough and comfortable. The stove caught fire from wires being wrapped in painters tape instead of electrical tape. It was very scary and sparks went flying. My partner and I had never experienced something like that before

Yeah will probably not be going back to this one. Just didnt feel like a safe area if you take family. A lot of people that just live there and dont care about what u see or hear. Pay a few more dollars and stay somewhere else

I will like a refund of the room. I spoke to management and he said once I speak to you all then you would reach out to him about the full refund. I’m 99% sure the manager is lying but I wanted to let you know. I ordered a queen size bed for one night on 2-14 and received a twin size bed that didn’t even fit on the bed frame. I also have a very bad back that causes me to see a chiropractor, so a twin size bed fo two people isn’t ideal. I will like a full refund because I didn’t receive the queen size bed that was offered to me . I also have pictures if needed. We checked in pretty late and the office closed at 8 pm, so it was nobody I could get in touch with.i would like a full refund please.

The smoke detector was on table with the bare wires hanging from the ceiling. There were brown funky stuff on the walls. The door didn't close right. It wasn't safe to stay so I had to book another hotel completely.

Location was great, but never again Everything, nothing was good, except being inside from the element of the cold even though I was cold and there wasn't any heat in the room alllllll night.

Our room was infested with roaches and we got bites all over us so we had to leave and sleep on our car since the main office closes at 7.

NOTHING First of all the hotel room, they gave us had stink bugs on the ceiling in the wall in the windows. The room smells like cat. The second room had a few bugs, but the refrigerator had roaches crawling around in the refrigerator. They had to come up and literally wipe down the refrigerator and get the bugs off the wall roaches crawling around big ones little ones. It was the nastiest place I’ve ever stayed the temperature dropped to 50 and the heat did not work. The TV did not work. The door lock was broken. You had to fight to get in the door.

The security staff is very rude, the property is a magnet for a lot of homeless people, trash all over the parking lot, the rooms need a lot of improvement starting with the toilets because a lot of the toilets leaks water all over the bathroom floor, the washing machines are “never working”, still haven’t fixed the elevator which is in convenient for a lot of elderly and disabled people. Is just a lot that need to be either changed or fixed at this hotel. As of now I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

I’ll NEVER stay here again! The place looked torn down. The room was FILTHY, wreaked of smoke, the toilet wouldn’t flush, there were dead roaches in the bathroom and kitchen area. I drove down 8 hours from NJ and had a few hours before a job interview. I wanted to take a 2 hour nap but couldn’t cause I was nauseous from the smell and freaked out about the roaches and didn’t want to keep my eyes off my bags so nothing crawled in. Monica was great, that was about it. Everything, the rooms were horrible, the door was held shut with duct tape, there were cigarette burns in the blankets, ceiling falling in the bathroom with black mold. They moved us to another room that had a random closet door propped up against the wall beside the bed, and the other tenants looked like they lived there and were either prostitutes or drug addicts. You were warned!

It is falling apart, the cabinets are damaged, the shower curtain does not hold water within the shower. There were numerous items stuffed into the door lock. I did not feel safe at all, I believe there are some people living there.

I like that both front desk ladies were super sweet and professional to me with every interaction. I appreciated all the info I was given at check in. I loved the onsite officer who helped me get my room key fixed no questions no problems when I called the after hours number. They helped me at the window when I got locked out my room and they were so nice about it. I would say I didn't like that there was always a guy waiting at the check in counter everytime I need to go to the check in area. It was just uncomfortable to have a guy watching over my check in information and seeing my room number.

We all slept in our clothes and shoes. Drug addicts were all over the place. I'll never go there again.

Made reservations to come after 8 pm..got there and a sign said office closed call front desk using courtesy phone. Of course courtesy phone got no one , called main customer service number and got transferred to the front desk attendant, who said you should have known to call my cell phone ?... First room could not open door, second room had to figure out the door opening "process" latch down then all the way back up..which was hit or miss. People congregating around room next door in the corners and alleys, talking loud cursing up until 12 am.. A woman looking like a prostitute kept walking back and forth down the sidewalk..Door had cardboard paper in the lock which looked like an attempt to hold it locked. Dead roaches on the floor , got up the next morning and each morning of stay to dog feces piled up on the lawn. Was supposed to stay 7 days , cut short after 4 could not take the safety concerns any longer. Upon checkout manager snuggly said we could move you to the less noisy end , and said since room was prepaid no way to get money back..at that point it didn't matter to make an argument because I just wanted to leave

I was greeted at the locked front office by an intoxicated woman begging for cigarettes. The online pictures absolutely do not properly depict the accurate condition of this hotel either. Red Roof was contacted and I hope they take this formal complaint seriously.

the price This place is not clean and i don't know if every room has roaches, but I stayed in room 105 and it was roach infested. Also the room next to me, I think they are selling drugs out of, people are in and out all times of the night. This could be a nice hotel, but there needs to be a major removal of the people who are there and also there needs to be major extermination and renovations done. Also I would like to request a refund....this is place is not fit for anyone to stay, needs major renovations, ASAP.

I left a day earlier before my regular checkout date because l felt unsafe. I saw men breaking into unoccupied rooms. I couldn't sleep because l was afraid someone was going to break into my room. One of the worst stays of my life. Lock on door was barely hanging on. Black mold made me sick, cockroaches everywhere, dented refrigerator with NO shelves, noise from rooms above of children running, adults arguing at full volume. Front desk wasn't open when I wanted to change rooms. A total health and safety hazard. I will NEVER stay there again.

I called to speak with an Expedia rep after being told I could only get a partial refund. The place is filthy, in an unsafe neighborhood, and in horrid condition. It should not be listed. The staff who i met briefly is nice though! I expect a full refund. Thank you.

had to drive 4 hours back home because the condition was so bad. the room had roaches, sandy floors, and dirty bedsheets. there were crumbs in the neatly folded bed, and hair everywhere. the bathroom sink plug was broken so you had to wait for it to drain for a couple of minutes. the neighbors are noisy at all times. i paid for 8 nights, i stayed for one.

Arrived at 830p to check in and the office was closed. Sign on the door stated to call from the courtesy phone. Tried the courtesy phone, but that phone rang for 2.5 minutes without a response.

This property was the most disgusting I've seen in my life. Door to room didn't work properly, non- smoking room smells like smoke, toilet was clogged and didn't flush, obvious drug addicts hanging out in parking lot.

This place is a dump. Very noisy and dirty. Roaches started coming out. There is no on duty staff. Phone numbers don’t work. This place is a full time shelter. When we cancelled our reservation, Orbitz couldn’t even get me my refund. Disgusting!!!

Me and my bf booked a room at this hotel but did not end up staying due to how dirty the place looked on the outside. There is people living there and as soon as you drive up they stare at you, had a bad vibe driving up since everyone stared. Got to looking for our room but as we were walking by the place outside looked filthy. Trash on stairs, stains like throw up or pee very dirty, got a bad feeling and we didn’t end up staying and left.

There were smashed roaches on the inside of the refrigerator, spiders everywhere, guess trying to catch the roaches. I bombed and purchased raid . Very nasty place.

I guess you get what you pay for. The room smelled like cigarettes and weed, there were cockroaches, and no toilet paper. The bed was comfortable, but everything else in the room was old and worn out.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. Hometown Studios by Red Roof Raleigh was AWFUL. I will attach photos. My first room I was moved from that room due to a water leak from the room above me ( Staff was nice and made accommodations). I was moved to another room that was NASTYYYY. This room was so dirty and bug infested I had bugs crawling on me that I had to hit off of my body. There were roaches throughout the room. The toilet was clogged up (no one assisted and denied all issues). The bathroom had black mold on the shower curtain. The air conditioner had black mold, and full of dust. Both rooms had such a loud pungent ODOR. I have never seen any property in this conditions. I was advised by staff that I would be moved for a third time, but they did not go through with the changes.There were also people smoking. It was a GHETTO hot mess.

Property is dirty toilet not bolted to the floor no backup generator for when the power goes out i would not stay there again but this is only my exeriance needs a lot of maintenance garbage all over the grounds including the laundry room, i say this is about a 20 dollar run down hotel but again my opinion.

Respectfully, the property is in need of an overhaul. The floors were filthy as were the bathrooms. Dried blood was in my bathroom shower. And sticky stuff was on the floor. Since I already spent my money to stay, I had to just bite the bullet. But no, I don't advise anyone else to stay until the management cleans it up. Just gross.

Human feces smeared on elevator walls. This property would likely be condemned if the Dept of Health inspected.

That isn’t even the worst part. The door to the room had evidence that it had been broken into before. Broken locks, the frame was bent, you could even see into the room through the door frame. I have pictures and video of all of it. I would sleep in my car before I ever considered staying here.

The toilet only partially worked. A very thin blanket and the temperature wouldn’t adjust. The cold air blew on the bed all night. No box springs, had to sleep in the middle of the bed or I would have fallen on the floor. There were cockroaches in the room. Probably my third worst room I have stayed in.

This property was absolutely filthy. I walked in the door and immediately knew I’d be leaving and finding another place to stay. There was blood on a lampshade, trash and dirt all over the floors and under the bed. The room reeked of smoke despite being a nonsmoking room. There was even a cigarette burn on one of the bed’s comforters. I got a partial refund. DO NOT STAY HERE. It had an overall unsafe feeling too.

The facility is littered with debris, transient people gathered around the exterior balcony drinking, smoking, and partying. The room floor is so dirty and I wouldn’t walk on it without flip flops, I’ve already killed three roaches, my sheets have cigarette holes in them,!the pillow cases are darkly stained. I am sleeping in my clothes, showering before I leave and never ever returning. Will fumigate my luggage before bringing it into my home.

If the hotel was $20 a night I would still give it 1 star. But at $85 it should at least be tolerable which this place is not. Avoid this place like the plague because it vwry well be breeding diseases.
