    The staff is amazing. The shuttle is amazing. I was able to get early check-in without any issues. But the pictures advertised show a pool and there is no pool on property. Also, the workout room is under construction. Though I love this property and I would stay at it again. There were some issues. First off, air-conditioning did not work in the hallways, but worked in the rooms, but it made more stuffy always and elevator rides. At breakfast, the waffle maker were sketch. I want to wash clothes and asked for the complementary laundry supplies and they ran out of them. Housekeeping was supposed to be every other day, but during my weekday they only came once. I had a visitor come into town who needed to pick up from the airport and when I called the shuttle was down for her pick up. Anytime I asked for extra items like towels or toilet paper. You have to go down to the front desk attendant yourself. Like a cheap motel. The room itself is big, and spacious and very nice and very clean. I had no issues with the room itself. The property itself could use a little bit more maintenance.

    This hotel worked out good for our family’s stay during our recent trip. The room was clean. Our requests for additional linens for the trundle bed and bathroom towels were easily met. The room was a little warm, but it was late when we realized it and I couldn’t figure out why, so we just dealt with it. The breakfast was not great, but we ate enough to get along our journey. Parking was easy and seemed safe.

    The hotel was very nice and spacious. Breakfast wasn’t as great as expected, but it was sufficient. The only issue we had was that the shower was not cleaned. There was hair in the bottom and all over the shampoo bottles. We didn't notice until the following morning because we arrived late and needed to get to an event.

    I loved the cleanliness of the room. It was immaculate. In addition, I also liked the layout of the room. The bathroom was very private. I was alone; but if I had visitors, the bathroom layout would have been ideal. I loved the staffers. Both the night clerk and the day people the next morning were warm, welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. For example, the night clerk gave me helpful info about how close I was to NCCU and how long it would take me to get there. She also told me that I could easily get an Uber or Lyft if I needed one to or from your location. The day staffers were very cheerful and held my luggage while I went to an accepted students' tour on the NCCU campus and allowed me to leave my car there in the lot until I got back after I had checked out. They also directed me to a downstairs bathroom that I could use before getting back on the road to Richmond. The free breakfast was adequate and had what I wanted--oatmeal with lots of fixings and beverages. The shower was easy to operate and worked perfectly, so I had an enjoyable morning shower before leaving. The elevator worked quietly and efficiently. The room temperature device worked well. There were plenty of towels. The pulldown shades worked well. My stay here was brief but very comfortable, uneventful and restful. My stay was what you would expect when paying for a nice hotel. Maybe this place is newer or renovated. I guess I have been staying in some places that have the facade of being renovated, but inside the rooms there are a lot of problems--balky toilets, noisy room HVAC, hard to adjust showers. I came to this room after a four-hour drive, so I was really tired. I was happy that there were no issues with this room that needed addressing. I was also impressed that at some point I must have indicated when I made the reservation that I am a little hard of hearing in one ear. It was noted and I was given a room for hard of hearing. I am far from deaf, but I was impressed. I didn't like the miniature light fixtures on the sides of the beds. They look like they were designed for reading in bed, but I could not adjust them to an angle where I could read anything. However, I use books for sedatives to go to sleep, so I went to sleep in no time and didn't need them. This is a small thing, but I noticed it since I recently renovated a bathroom at home. The toilet in this bathroom had a gold handle on the toilet. However, no other fixtures in this bathroom were gold except the handle on the entrance door. Everything else was silver or chrome colored; so the toilet handle just stood out as odd. It also needed to be held down to flush the toilet completely.

    I wanted to bring to your attention an issue we experienced during our stay. Our room key was not functioning on the keypad for the entire day. As a result, we had to repeatedly go to the receptionist and request assistance to be let into our room using a master key. We were informed that the keypad connected to our room door was not working, which posed a major inconvenience. More importantly, we had a babysitter and children in the room who did not have a working key—this created a serious safety concern, especially in the event of an emergency. From our perspective, this presented a potential fire hazard. We hope this issue can be addressed promptly to prevent future guests from facing similar challenges.     Unfortunately, I’ve been dealing with an ongoing issue regarding my room charges. Although the reservation was fully paid through Expedia, the hotel claimed they had not received payment and charged me again. I contacted the hotel directly, and they assured me the matter would be resolved and that I would receive follow-up communication via email. It has now been over a month, and I have yet to receive any update. This lack of follow-through has been disappointing.

    The room was amazing. Lots of space for the price. I stayed on the third floor had people above and under it was still quiet. Loved the staff they greet u upon every entry and bid u farewell on exiting. Rooms were clean and cozy. The breakfast selection was skimp but the price matches the spread. Try a restaurant that sells food attached and would have loved to have a bar in the hotel.

    I genuinely didn't want to write this review because the staff was so apologetic and doing their best to make up for it... at least I thought they were. They promised to put a bunch of points on my Bonvoy account for all of the inconveniences (which in the moment sounded like a lot but now I realize it's truly nothing). My stay was over a month ago and I still have not seen those points, even after several calls to corporate and the location itself. They keep telling me they will give me the points but can't even tell me when I should expect them. It's absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. As someone who has traveled regularly my entire life I have NEVER experienced ANY of the nightmares that occurred during this one stay. Even after everything that happened, I had every right to take drastic measures, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. But now I feel they've left me no choice. Marriott properties used to be my go to and now I don't think I'll ever stay with them again.

    Stayed here for four nights in May 2025. For a 3 star hotel, it pretty much hits the mark. The staff were friendly, the room was clean when we arrived, the free breakfast and free parking were great. They also mentioned the housekeeping would be alternate day when we checked in, so that was good to know too. The next time they cleaned the room they did not replenish all used items (that’s why I deducted 1 star rating) .The rooms were soundproof enough, of course not 100% but overall I would recommend this place and if I visit again, won’t think twice about booking this place .

    Personality of all the front desk team. They were patient and focused on a high standard of care. It was obvious. The shuttle bus driver was knowledgable of the area and super careful in ensuring that I got where I was going and got out of the van safely (I have some difficulty climbing).     Amazing, clean location. Staff goes above and beyond. This is the only hotel I will stay at when I come to Raleigh. The only downfall was there was an issue with the hot water in the shower. The maintenance man told us we had to turn all the facets in the room on for the hot water to work in the shower (inconvenient, but it worked!). Otherwise great stay!

    The staff was wonderful as always. The room was spot less and clean. There were no issues w/ the Accessibility Room and the hotel even contåcted me when they thought it may be a perceived issue.     My trip overall was satisfactory. The hotel was outdated. There was only one elevator working, something that has obviously been ignored for a while and I didn't get the room I requested. But the staff was friendly.

    Two things, the room was available but was blocked out and this is mentioned between the two agents and they tried to brush it off when we caught on. And secondly, they blamed a third party system when there’s show the exact same thing. We paid money. It wasn’t free. It was the same cost never mind the booking platform. So we ended up with two small beds as a couple. Very infuriating.

    We left the hotel for a funeral and were gone all day. When we got back, to my surprise, no one had been in the room to make the bed or replace the towels. I was shocked that at a hundred dollars a night they wouldn't even make the bed. I called the front desk and they said they don't do that anymore. Wow just Wow

    We were very disappointed that the pool was closed. If you plan to use the pool, be sure to call ahead to confirm that it is in operation. The breakfast was OK. It would’ve been good to include multi-grain bread and some fruit besides bananas.

    I specifically chose this hotel for the pool for my granddaughter. It was closed but couldn't tell anyone until when. The hotel itself was average at best. Noisy, and the elevator was working properly so we had to use the stairs. Staff was friendly

    Beautiful, clean area near Walmart and other stores. Debra at the front desk was amazing and sweet. She was apologetic that the hotel called me to question my need for a disability room (that was so offensive!). She was kind and helpful. The staff personally delivered towels when I called needing more. The rooms and facilities in general were very clean!

    Because we were arriving very late at night, we called the hotel TWICE to ask that the sofa bed be made up before we got there. It wasn't. We were traveling with someone who is both very elderly and handicapped. We didn't want to have to deal with that. Also, there were bugs in the bathroom, the beds were uncomfortable, and towels weren't replaced as we were told they would be.

    The room layout was odd and awkward? Both mirrors were located inside the bath area and water leaked (pooled) onto the floor behind the toilet from in the shower. The room smelled ‘moist’ the entire stay. The TV had no guide so watching anything desirable was a challenge. TV position was also challenging if you wanted to watch from the bed, it swiveled, but not enough. The bedding and refrigerator were clean. The morning breakfast person was excellent as were desk personnel who worked Saturday and Sunday.

    The staff was amazing! Hotel was clean and breakfast had a great variety of biscuit egg & cheese, omelettes, oatmeal bar, waffles, cereal, yogurt, and toast with chocolate milk, coffee and juice. The only downside was I couldn’t sleep all night because the people above us were stomping around and being noisy. We had to switch rooms at 2:30 AM.
