Large very clean room and the mattress so delightful.

Was the perfect place to stay for visiting the research triangle. Clean, decent gym, and a helpful staff. And, if you timed things right, fresh cookies in the afternoon.

It’s only about 10 mins away from NCCU You have to pay for parking

Clean room, friendly & helpful staff, standard breakfast, and on site parking included: 5/5 no complaints. Night time noise levels were barely tolerable (my only complaint), but that's through no fault of the hotel & staff.

Loved staying here. Did a staycation for my daughter’s birthday. We stayed here specifically because they had an indoor pool, breakfast and a late check out at noon. It allowed us time to have breakfast and not feel rushed out the door. I decided to stay an extra night & the young lady at the front desk was so helpful with booking the extra night. She made sure I rebooked thru the original app so I got a great rate and then made sure we did not have to move rooms. She also made sure housekeeping stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed for the extra night. Will definitely be back

This hotel exceeded my expectations! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was relaxing, and everything about our stay was excellent. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great experience.

This hotel should have a manager during mid nite hours because the staff in charge they don’t know what they are doing and the only answer I got from it all the time it was “ we can not do that “ or “ that’s is not at option “ even tho they cancel a 2,000 dollars reservation and they did not help at all to find us another room or accommodation with what was paid already. The worst experience!!!!!! Thanks to them I had to just keep looking for a place to stay in the middle of the night . I do not recommend this hotel at all . None

Breakfast was very well prepared and the buffet style made it very easy to access.

I accidentally booked this hotel (I meant to book the Hampton Inn and Suites on Cole Mill Rd, where we usually stay when we travel to Durham), and while I think I still have a slight preference for the one on Cole Mill Rd., this was a good alternative. The room was clean, breakfast was about what I would expect from a Hampton Inn ("good enough", although the bananas were not overripe -- a plus!) I would definitely stay here again. The only catch was that they tacked a $10/night parking fee when I arrived at the hotel -- I would have preferred to see that in my total from Hotels.com. To be fair, the hotel does not advertise parking as a perk, so I will be more careful checking in the future.

I liked how comfort it was, especily our beds. Very clean! I love the coffee always available and the cookie time in the afternoon! Really nice those things so we feel welcomed. The staff was always helpful. they did not have upfront a cribe for the baby, and the baby was added in the reservation. all the food was well prepared but there not many options for dairy restriction for instance.

Great location, quiet hotel, very clean and modern/upgraded. The rooms were really spacious and thoughtfully laid out.

I personally don’t like hotels. But this hotel is clean the staff are very friendly and super helpful. I will always stay here. Parking is convenient and so is the location.

Breakfast was great and warm. Pool was freezing cold with no hot tub. Room was clean but with the size of the room there was only one AC unit and it was not near any beds, so the room was hot and humid, even when the AC was turned as low as it would go. Didn’t sleep with a blanket, only sheets

Breakfast was bountiful and delicious. We were disappointed that the pool 's heater was broken, and we couldn't go in the pool.

Did not expect all the rooms to house dogs,or have dogs in the dining area, or the pool,even though it states no dogs in the pool. Pool was not as well kept as expected and the temperature was too cold. Not sure if that was a deterrent for people not to use.

Our room was clean. The staff was great, and breakfast was good. The woman taking care of the breakfast did a great job, even though she was working alone during the busy weekend. Parking was convenient; there was an entrance door for guests near every parking spot.

I have stayed at many different hotels and resorts over the last 30 years. This Hampton Inn and Suites in Durham was by far one of the best if not the best. The staff were very nice and answered all of our questions. The coffee was always on and hot! The breakfast was very nice and accommodated all of our dietary needs. The location is great as well. Thank you all for making our stay very nice, relaxing, and enjoyable.

This hotel is amazing each time I come into town. This is where we stay. The kids enjoys the indoor pool and breakfast.

We checked in early in the afternoon and the hotel staff said they had overbooked their queen suites. We were told they couldn't honor our original reservation and we'd have to settle for a king room with no offer of a cot, or anything. We had already paid a fee for extra guest when we booked since we are a family of 5. They didn't refund that fee or offer anything else.

This was my second stay. Recommend especially traveling with family.

Close to duke

Great friendly staff. Breakfast was good just wish you had a tiny fridge for the milk and yogurt as the ice was melting and did not keep it very cold. But again breakfast was really good. Rooms were nice

The staff that checked us in and out were great. When we arrived the lady that checked us in I didn’t get her name but she was very helpful. She provided us directions to the DPAC center and other information that we needed. Super courteous and wonderful personality.

The room was clean and quiet. Room temperature was configurable to your liking. Shower was hot. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap was included in the room. Breakfast was good. Eggs, Sausage, potatoes. You can also make your own waffles. They even had a churro mix. Plenty of toppings. Coffee, Tea, Orange/Apple Juice, milk. Cereal options. Hardboiled eggs, yogurt, and a few cookies. Overall pretty solid.

The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good. My only complaint had to do with some loud and inconsiderate young teenage girls. They were screaming, banging on one of their friends door and demanding that they open the door. Then they were outside screaming and yelling.

Great staff, very clean room, breakfast ok, quiet environment, seemed a safe Hotel, free shuttle to my destinations, shuttle driver ms Gwen was the best and knowledgeable driver.

Room was in good condition but housekeeping skipped our room on Friday after Thanksgiving. Understandably there was no housekeeping on Thanksgiving but Friday we left the room after she was in the next room and I asked her to go to our room and she never did. Plus the 1st night the person on duty only gave us 1 key and it didn't work.

Upon arrival the staff was having issues with the computer system and couldn’t check in any guest. We had to wait awhile for the computer system to come back up. Overall the stay was absolutely great besides the minor computer hiccup.

The lady at the front desk was wonderful! Very sweet and helpful. The room was in desperate need of fixing though. The ceiling in the bathroom had a huge crack in it. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good.

We stay at this hotel when we visit our son and his family in Durham. The last two stays I have said I won’t stay there again because the mattresses need to be turned or replaced. It was very uncomfortable and not good for a senior individual’s back and neck. I will be glad to be in my own bed tonight for that reason. That bed made me ache.

Media in the room, no operation instructions for devices

There was a dog left alone in a room on the 3rd floor, barking until 3 in the morning. The front desk receptionist was gracious enough to move us immediately to the 6th floor

Nice place, no real issues though placement of room tv was odd.

They cancelled our reservation due to being overbooked for Dreamville fest and they kept blaming Expedia for cancelling my reservation. They tried to charge my card before I even stepped foot in North Carolina and cancelled my room. Did not accommodate at all. Staff was very rude

What a wonderful and friendly staff! From the front desk to the breakfast area (Joy), their staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. We routinely stay at HI and this is one of main reasons.

Very great location for Durham. I was there for a reunion and had a smooth check in and check out. The hot breakfast was pretty good with the ability to make your own waffles. The room was mostly clean, just a little dated. The bathroom in particular. I would stay again for price/location.

This is a good half way point when we go on vacation. Since our last trip, it looks like they did some remodeling and it looks good. The location is convenient being right off the interstate and never had a complaint. We will stay there again in the future.

The hotel is clean, but I found a baby roach in my room. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean besides the roach.

My stay was excellent EXCEPT for the tv. There were two controls and trying to figure them out was a pain in the butt. If all else were not the way they were, I would grade my stay a one, just for that inconvenience.

The extra sink by the fridge was leaking under the sink. The sheets were very rough as if they had never been washed. The bed wasn’t as comfy as they usually are at Hampton’s but good enough. Only had two bath towels The hotel addressed these issues expediently.
